This Hotel is a family business and you can tell by the care that is taken in making it a special place. We have stayed here a few times and always had a great time. This time we experienced the aperitivo in their lovely American bar 'Insolito', buzzing with people sipping Aperol Spritz and cocktails. We've heard that the restaurant here offers excellent food but we haven't tried it yet. The free use of the swimming pool is definitely a plus when staying in one of their rooms. All in all a great hotel in Udine.

Totally accessible hotel. Plus it is chic and convenient. Rooms were great and fully equipped. We had dinner there and it was amazing. Cocktails come with snacks -delicious. Best of all the hotel has a small friendly and well behaved dog! I didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Apparently “footballers” use this place-I can see why they have a nice gym and spa-can you say massage! Last we were here to see family and it was easy to get on the highways from here. Friendliest staff!

This hotel is a gem in the Udine area. The cleanliness and maintenance are impeccable. Every detail has been looked at and been thought about. Breakfast was perfect with enough hot and cold choices and everything was fresh and yummy. The staff are polite and professional. Great parking area and plenty of restaurants on foot distance. Free use of the swimming pool if you are staying.
We had a great, relaxing few days here and we recommend it to anyone.

Great stay overall!

The staff were fantastic,really friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and everything tasting fresh and delicious. The only downsides were that the toilet door didn’t close properly, and there was some construction work going on outside. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again!

The front desk woman that checked us in was not very friendly she did not greet us nor did she say much, she seem to not like her job very much because if you are in the hospitality business you should engage with the guests! There is no good morning, no thank you for staying with us we hope to see you again, nothing! My uncle Laci Szöke and his family were very good friends with the owner and that is why we stayed there. The service I. The restaurant was exceptional!!

Don’t take a roadside room

I had a room by the road. So as someone who stays in hotels around 100 nights per year I would be in a position to know a noisy hotel room when I stay in one and this was the noisiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. There was also a delivery lorry parked and off loading outside my window at 3am that woke me up. Pure ridiculous. Average hotel at best.

Charming!

Charming hotel with a few things that truly stand out - huge jacuzzi bath in the Alcove suite and the restaurant next to the hotel. Very pleasant staff, unproblematic, convenient parking, great breakfast. Really cool getaway if want a smaller hotel with a 'personality'

Hotel is great generally, breakfast was fabulous. Staff friendly and pleasant. Beware of the pool area as a lot of people prefer to bathe al fresco, so a bit of a culture issue. Also tried to charge for the milk for the tea and coffee in the room but reversed this when pointed out. These were only minor issues but it is a very nice place so will be staying again

The hotel lobby looks antiquated, but the rooms are brand new and updated (at least that we stayed in). The air conditioning worked excellent. The room was clean and very large for a European hotel. The breakfast had a huge selection of good food.

All depends on the room you will get

I was always at this hotel twice. First stay was superb, the second one rather disappointing, also because I was expecting it to be as nice as the first. Unfortunately this time I was placed in a room #5something, which was loud and very dark. Another disappointing thing is that it was never (at least never when I am there) place for the guests in a hotel restaurant. So you arrive in the evening and you are forced to find some place outside for dinning. Breakfast is great, however, absolutely fantastic. Btw I wonder whos idea was to make the paved way from a parking to the hotel. It is really difficult to roll the luggage on it...

Home of the Italian National Team!

We were told this was one of the three best hotels in Udine by our cab driver. The Italian National Soccer Team stayed here the night before their World Cup qualifier and we were surprised and thrilled to get a good glimpse of the team up close. Udine, in Serie A, also uses the hotel the night before home games. The staff is helpful, the bar wonderful and the breakfast was the best we have seen traveling in Italy so far. Their are three choices of menus and, I bet, over 100 items to choose from to start the day. There is also a restaurant and spa on premises. I highly recommend staying here though it is several kilometers from city center and the train station.

The room was nice and the property was in good condition. It was a short walk from a grocery store and bank.

The property was outside the city, which suited my needs.

The only shortcoming was that it was noisy inside the building. It sounded like there were tap dancing classes happening directly above me and the sound traveled from other rooms. Housekeeping started early (7am) and they were not quiet. There were many loud conversations in the hallway which transferred to my room

staff were kind and friendly, the room is nice, but i cant recommend it for couples, since the bathroom doors are glass and i dont know a women that would agree to use it.

I had a good stay, the room is pretty large and very comfortable and clean.

Restful hotel after a long journey

After a 2 hour flight and 90 minute drive this was a restful and welcoming hotel to arrive at - after I eventually found the car park.
The bar was amazing with pastries and other snacks served with the drinks - amazingly good value.

Good to stay with family

It was a three days stay for leisure. The swimming pool was great idea and our kids enjoyed it very much, especially the fact that was open till midnight. The hotel is located in a perfect place for shopping for those that are interested. The breakfast was nice and staff very helpful. The rooms are a bit old and need to be renovated and sofa bed was medium comfortable.

Don't miss the terrace with music

We wanted a relaxing place for a stop along the travel. It was delightful to take a drink at the terrace, listening a good music in the evening. Not forget a nice swimming pool to start the day after.. I recommend the place.

single room very small, plain like a 2.5*, over looking nothing, bathroom badly designed, need a shoehorn to get in, hot water comes in 10 minutes, the corridor is like a warehouse, the menu of the cantina is poor, the dishes, selection are obscure and poor, a car is a must otherwise pay double for a called Taxi, no bathrobe for the swimming pool in winter you jog over the hotel in your brief, well of course the surroundind is factory plants, rather dockyard style, its a hide away for Al Capone on the run. not again.

ok but misleading. Booked the hotel so my kids could have some down time at the pool. Trouble was the pool doesnt exist any longer. In the process of building a new indoor pool but not apparent when we booked. In fact the advertising had the outdoor pool in it and advertised it. Restaurant good. Rooms ok but single beds. Definitely clean and good service.

A good place to stay in Udine. The rooms are not fantastic but had all I needed (especially if you are travelling for business). It is just not convenient if you want to reach to the centre on foot, but in any case a taxi will not cost a fortune and BWH La di Moret is good value for the money.

Ein bisschen außerhalb vom sehr schönen Stadtzentrum. Ab ca. 21:00 Uhr fährt kein Bus mehr, Taxis sind in Udine auch nicht viele unterwegs… das sollte man bedenken oder ca 1 Stunde spazieren einplanen. Für Autofahrer aber sehr gut gelegen mit reichlich Parkplätzen. Das Hotel selbst ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand, sogar mit Wellnessbereich und großem Pool. Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, konnte den Fernseher der Nachbarn und morgens die Unruhe auf dem Flur gut hören. Aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt passte alles und war den Preis absolut wert.

Pur non essendo in centro l’hotel era molto comodo per andarci e anche per uscire dalla città e dirigersi in altre città vicine. Ho scelto l’hotel per la posizione ed il parcheggio, ed è risultata una buona scelta da questo punto di vista.
Camera ben insonorizzata,sufficientemente spaziosa, arredi un po’ datati; ho apprezzato la doccia bella grande, anche se toglieva un po’ di spazio al bagno, che comunque non era piccolo. Apprezzabili anche le finestre con tapparelle per dormire al buio, personalmente non sopporto le tende oscuranti che non oscurano mai a sufficienza.
Altro discorso per il letto.Ho trovato il materasso veramente scomodo: si affossava sedendosi poi era duro stendendosi; la prima notte non ho quasi dormito. Anche i cuscini erano scomodi. Ma questo è sicuramente una cosa molto personale, ad altri potrebbe andare bene.

Sono tornato a La di Moret, dopo molti anni e confermo che nonostante ormai sia una struttura non nuovissima, è sempre una garanzia.
Alcune cose. Per gli ospiti la SPA dovrebbe essere inclusa nel prezzo e non solamente la piscina, oppure Hotels.com dovrebbero evidenziarlo meglio.
Un altra cosa, se si prenota una stanza quadrupla e viene fornita una doppia, perché si è solamente in due, si dovrebbe fornire un risarcimento oppure omaggiare qualche cosa, senza che questo debba essere richiesto in modo esplicito e con i conseguenti imbarazzi.

Arrivati nella hall abbiamo pensato si trattasse di un hotel un po’ datato e di cattivo gusto. In realtà poi non era così male, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il personale: molto gentile e attento ai clienti. Nota negativa: la SPA è riservata solo ai “nudisti”, cioè è alla tedesca, per cui non sono ammessi costumi. E siamo in Italia!

Nettes Personal. Leider war in der Woche kurzfristig der Wellnessbereich und der Pool gesperrt, es gab auch nach Nachfrage keine Kompensation. Vielleicht hätten wir aber dafür ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, sie hatten aber nix gesagt. Ansonsten Zimmer sehr sauber und Frühstück für 9 Euro pro Person sehr günstig und gut.

I booked a business room (so a premium one), but i was assigned a room for disabled. although indeed large and spacious with two large windows , the furnishing was quite basic. i hope this was just my room.
some noise coming from the nearby regional road when car passing by, but not too loud actually.

large private parking lot available for free.
the large spa establishment is accessible at a little fee (just 17EUR!): this is a true pearl!

excellent breakfast with large choice of cakes, as well as healthy options.
