The resort is a five minute walk from the main street and for us that was a big plus. The main street has a loud, dingy Phuket-like vibe which doesn't appeal to my wife and me.

We stayed in the ocean view suite, which was fabulous for the Moalboal area. Beautiful ocean views when the weather permitted and a ten minute walk to the main sardine run area. We didn't dive but the low tide is extremely low so I saw people walking with their gear to the water and the dive boats. SECRET CHEAT CODE - the dive shop has a freezer full of ice cream novelties for sale.

The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was pretty meh but there are a number of better places close by so we only ate one dinner there.

The laundry service is a great convenience and the staff is overall very helpful.

The view over the ocean was delightful and we didn’t mind the comings and goings over divers and snorkellers passing by our terrace. If you required privacy this was not the room for you. Ocean suite next door would suit you better. Food and drinks in the restaurant were of very reasonable cost and of good quality

The hotel is ideally located right on the beachfront great snorkeling in front of the hotel. It’s a short walk to the Main Street for the bars & restaurants. Highly recommended will definitely be back.

It was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and safe and easily walkable to all the areas you need to get to. ATM is very close by. I was able to charge all my beer and breakfast to my room and then pay by credit card which most places don’t seem to do around here. I love cash.

Basically, this is a Motel 6 on the water. If you can find a cabin nearby with AC, book it. The Quo room AC was not strong. I barely slept. The room was good size but with basic furniture, an unimpressive shower, and no TV connectivity.

It is on the ocean, with an in-house dive shop, which is nice. It there are dozens of dive shops in walking distance.

Beautiful resort right on the water- you can wade out and snorkel! Restaurant overlooks water. Super friendly staff. They accommodated our early Canyoneering excursion by offering either breakfast to go or to have it when we got back (when breakfast time had past!). A 5 minute walk takes you to beach area where you can wade in a snorkel to see sardines and sea turtles!

Left feeling very unsatisfied. Sea view deluxe rooms are incredibly basic and sad. Noisy aircon that doesn’t really work, mould on fridge, bathroom covered in ants.
Breakfasts are incredibly basic compared to other places we have stayed in the Philippines - you can pick from bread and jam, Filipino or pancakes. Have to choose between coffee or juice. Breakfast one morning had ants in the bread and the butter. Informed the server who didn’t seem overly bothered and replaced the bread but wasn’t particularly hungry by then.
Location is nice for an easy access to the water and 10 min stroll into town.
Didn’t use the dive centre so can’t comment.
Unless into diving and want convenience, I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful location, very nice grounds, very pleasant and informative dive center, near to the sardine snorkelling area. Sheets were basic and two pillows would have been preferable to single one. Also, I did not enjoy breakfast. It's very basic choices-American, Filipino, Continental, or Pancake. I chose the pancake and it was not tasty. The biggest problem was the lack of brewed coffee.

Very laid back people very friendly dive site on site very nice 5 star. When scuba diving so a whale shark on our first dive. Jingle was our dive instructor and John was head of dive shop took nitrox certification and was very impressed with the knowledge of the dive employees. Would recommend to anyone wanting to dive the staff carried equipment helped put it on and off the best dive experience I have ever had.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool and rooms are clean. For the cost, they are less luxurious than two other dive resorts we went to for a similar cost (Polaris in Cabilao and Ocean Vida in Malpascua). The rooms are still very comfortable and clean.
My daughter who has been on a lot of dives in the Philippines was not crazy about her one experience diving with the dive shop. At the beginning of the dive, she was trying to swim out to the boat vs walk out on the coral. The dive shop thought she was struggling, when she had said she was not, and was basically yelled at when she got to the boat. Maybe all the coral is dead right there and just rock and there was no need to swim out, but her intentions were good. Instead of having a positive attitude that she was concerned about the environment, she was scorned by the DM. After that, my daughter did not want to dive with the shop again, so we dove with another shop (which there are many in the area). Maybe it was just a misunderstanding, but this was our experience.
We went in July (rainy season) and it was still beautiful although a bit windy and rough.

From the check in receptionist to the other staff, everyone there was helping and accommodating our stay for 2 nights. There was a problem withe the fridge (leaking water) but they replaced it even before we complained the next day.

The hotel has good view and very good diving center. You can walk to the nearest market place for food.

This property is a great place to stay,over looks the reef directly ! We saw turtles and beautiful marine life during our stay ... they have a great dive centre although we only did snorkeling ! The rooms are basic and clean .. though it said sea facing rooms 1-5 are only sea facing the other rooms are perpendicular to the beach so u can’t view the beach from ur room but nevertheless the view once u step out is to die for ! The staff are extremely customer centric ... my husband and me are vegetarians and we had the breakfast buffet inclusive in our room rates though they wasn’t any vegetarian on the buffet the staff was kind enough to let us select one veggie dish off the menu to accommodate to our needs ! The resort is also in the prime location walking distance to some great bars of panagsama beach yet in a quiter location ! I would most certainly come back to this resort ! Highly recommend

The bed was ok, however the WiFi is really bad. Could not get it from the room or from the swimming pool or even the restaurant...
The service also is not the best.the hotel does not offer much (appart from diving) at least to my knowledge (scooter rental, massage, trips...). They offer (slightly over priced ) transportation to cebu city which is actually convenient cause you can pay by credit card, however they didn’t booked mine properly so don’t hesitate to remind them if you book through them (they fixed the problem quite fast though)

Wile not much of a beach, you can enter the water from the property and immediately begin seeing sea creatures. I saw my first sea turtle within twenty yards of shore my first time in. The coral wal that parallels the shore for a long distance is just about 30 yards out -- pretty incredible!

Dive school is topnotch with professional divemasters (look for Simon!). Only complaint would be the low water pressure from the showerheads. But overall would definately recommend to stay here if diving in Moalboal.

Ideal spot to base ourselves for a 3-day diving getaway. We had the sea view rooms, which were comfortable and clean; right next to the dive center but yet very quiet. It a close enough walk to the restaurants and bars 5-10 mins walk but away from the congestion so you can escape to peace and serenity. They can arrange for masseuse to come in at Php400 / hour for a massage in the garden. From what we saw, Quo Vadis has the most comfortable and spacious dive boat amongst the operators, and they have discounts if you have > 5 dives & even more when > 10 dives - I highly recommend them. Only letdown was poor coffee- but looks like the same problem everywhere else in Moalboal - can’t get a decent espresso 😞

Qua Vadis offers some of the nicest rooms in Maoboal. But their idea of a 5- star resort is more like 3- stars by US and many European standards. We stayed in a large sea view air conditioned suite which was very comfortable but not luxurious. The shower routinely leaked into bathroom floor. You get one scratchy bath towel only, no hand towels or face towels.
The diving was excellent. The Quo Vadis dive operators and crew generally want to do their best to show the amazing underwater life in their area. They head to all 12 area dive sites in rotation. Our favorite was Lo-ok and of course the sardines. Just be aware that qua Vadis does not offer the cheapest prices.
As for food, I have to honestly say that the restaurant is lacking. Dull, expensive menu with mediocre, mostly continental food. Almost everyone, including their own staff eats next dirt, at the cafe/bar owned by the Blu Abyss diving.

This is my third year in a row staying at Quo Vadis. The staff are great and the room rates are very reasonable. I have stayed in 3 types of rooms and they are all good value for what you pay. However, best of all is the Resort's location. I can walk down their stairs and swim 50 metres out to a wonderful reef with a variety of fish and most times I see a turtle while snorkelling there. Also, it is not far from the main restaurant area and the massive school of sardines. Every day I would snorkel with the sardines and then swim about a Km. back to the resort.

What a gem. We couldn’t believe how great this place was when we arrived. We stayed in the Sea View rooms and they lived up to their names. There was a staircase in front of our shared yard that literally walked into the sea. If you are a fan of diving (or a first timer like we were), they have an amazing team of dive masters that will help you have a great experience. I would personally recommend the Sardine dives. If you take a walk along the beach or down the road there’s a small town next to this resort with restaurants and bars and spas where you can find something new every day. The staff is kind, the prices are good, and the location is beautiful.

tiny room supposed to sleep 4, 2x small double beds, hardly any room to move.

The bathroom was tiny - while you shower the toilet is getting soaked, no separation, no screen or
curtain. Approx 3 normal steps was full length of bathroom and toilet.

Shops not very close, had to get taxi, or bike driver to take you everywhere.

Seaview room does not have private balcony

The hotel is along the stretch of beachfront which also has various other hotels. The plus point of this hotel is that there is a nice house reef right infront of the hotel and its restaurant overlooks the sea. The minus point for our stay is the seaview room we booked is not exactly fronting the beach, instead there is a garden between the room and the beach. The seaview rooms share a common corridor, whereas the bungalows at the back have private balconies and individual hammock. So those preferring comfort and privacy should ask for bungalows rather than seaview rooms.

The hotel / reception staff was amazing - very friendly and helpful. The restaurants and pool area was average. The room was less than mediocre - our toilet was always leaking. The basics were there though and although the beds and bedding didn't look great, we slept well. We wanted to get our Open Water Certification at the hotel but got no response from the dive shop, even after messaging and calling several times. The scuba instructors didn't seem very friendly.

I stayed the weekend to relax a bit and get my PADI open water diving certification. The diving experience is highly recommended. My personal instructor Caroline, was very patient and a great teacher. We started with the pool sessions then followed by the open water dives. By the end of the morning Sunday I was certified. We had the Premier suite and it is a nice spacious room with good wifi and a great balcony overlooking the ocean.

a joke !

that's not a resort ! or the worst one maybe !
We booked two night for a bungalow, we did two different reservation for that at the same time like i always do when I'm not sure of my travel date to take advantage of the cancellation date. anyway I've never had any problem with that elsewhere! but here they just gave me two diffrent bungalow, that means we had to switch room in the middle of the day ! I tried to explain that made no sense cause they just could put the new poeple in the bungalow that we were supposed to move in ! but they didn't really care !
When we moved to our bungalow, the staff didn't clean the room yet ! what a plesant view to see our romm in that state!
later in the day they run out of water, we had to wait hours for them to fix it. one fixed the water was just really few, it was super hard to take a shower !
plese be aware of the noise ! the hotel is surrounded by roads, there is even one road in the middle of the hotel !
that was the most stingy hotel i've ever been ! thet last day we evean heard someone charged for swimming in the pool hahha !
i have so many stories about this low quality hotel, but i don't want to waste my time anymore for them ! just try to avoid them. they are tonnes of others hotels there.

what is for real or just a nightmare ?
We got the first room, at the end of their garden. Just in front of the road and a chicken farm !!! the road is noisy all day long and all night long, people there drive motorbike with free exhaust so be ready to rock ! what s wrong with their hens ? they scream all night long as well !
even for free I wouldn't stay here again ! that s not vacation at all !
I would like to talk about there sneaky water scam ! when you arrive in the room, you can see two little bottle of water on the table, beside the tea and coffe where you can see written \"complimentary\" So you grab a bootle of water cause you are thirsty, especially the room has not air con. then later when you grab the tea you see on their litte complimentary sign hidden by the tea bag and coffee, \" water is 38 pesos\" hahahaha well done quo vadis resort !!! I've been all around the word and it was my first time to see that !

Only went to Moalboal for a few days to get information on scuba diving. In the end I couldn't resist the \"Discovery\" dive package, just one dive to \"get my feet wet\". John, my instructor, made it a very positive, safe, experience...one i will repeat. The cost is very reasonable.

This place was great. Great location. Staff very helpful and very friendly. Couldn't beat the views of the beach, and could go down to beach during low tide and explore. Close to town center. Pool nice size with pool bar, only downside the jacuzzi was dirty. We wouldn't go in. The provide you with towels. And food was good at onsite restaurant. I would stay here again a d recommend this place.

Very friendly desk and restaurant staff. Rooms were clean though the air conditioning units were loud. Would recommend the Superior Sea View as a minimum room level. It was great to hear the waves as it was during the rainy season and the seas were rough. Good diving off Pescador Island. The restaurant was slow and could use some extra kitchen staff, but the food was good - especially the fruit shakes. One disappointment was when paying the bill using my VISA, I was charged an extra 4.4% when the acceptable rate was 3%.

Stay to remember!

I had a fantastic time with my fiancé celebrating our 1st year anniversary! Our experience and stay at the Quo Vadis Dive Resort exceeded more than my expectation.

The rooms we stayed at is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful when it comes to our needs.

It had been a smooth process from checking-in to checking-out.

I was in the cheap rooms (Garden view) no A/C and WiFi didn't work at the back of the complex so no sea breeze and very hot but all was ok.

its spectacular..

Its very nice to stay there especially if both of you are couple who wants to have some privacy and want to spent time with each other, the room is quiet chip but its very big and comfortable, the food is very good and delicious also thanks to our newly found friend who cooked for us on that day Jason..:). The only lil problem with out stay there is about the transportation cuz before we reach on the resort you need to ride trycicle who will take you there for a fair of 150peso per ride to think its quite near only (Its business as it is) and there is no stand by motorcycle in the resort or at least you can rent something there if you want to gp out and explore some nereby places.

Brief stay between locations - convenient

Stayed briefly between 2 locations on Coron. Was convenient reasonable quality budget hotel. Good restaurant and pool. Snorkelling nearby.
If staying at Pangswana beach this is an ideal hotel. Range of rooms - we had one of the cheaper rooms which was quite comfortable.
Staff very helpful.
Other locations at Pangswana beach did not look same standard.

パナグサマビーチから少し離れたところにあり、この近辺では一番リゾート感のあるホテルだと思います。
施設自体は簡素で、水回りは最低限といった感じで、アメニティはボディーソープとシャンプー以外一切ありませんので、持っていくか現地調達が必要になります。
水はペットボトル入りのサービスはありませんが、レセプションにあるウォーターサーバーに汲みに行けば無料なので、ペットボトルや水筒などを持参することをおすすめします。

一見高く感じるかもですが、モアルボアルはどこもそんな感じかと思うので、そう考えると自分的にはモアルボアルならここ1択です。
