Received upgrade. Room with balcony. Easy free parking. Since we were the only ones having breakfast the staff prepared a platter with cheese, cold cuts, fruits , vegetables, hard boiled eggs and basket of various breads. Coffee, juices, cereals available as well. Walking distance to the lake and town.

We highly recommend this hotel!
From check-in to check-out, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d like to especially thank Ms.Sherbet and Ms. Debora for their exceptional service. Of course, the male staff member was also very kind, though unfortunately we didn’t get his name.

During our stay, the weather was quite hot and the room temperature rose a bit, but we requested a large fan and it was promptly provided.

Thank you again for making our stay comfortable and pleasant!

Perfect destination in St. Wolfgang

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Fosterhof! The hotel is so charming, our room was spacious and had a balcony, and was very clean. The morning breakfast selection was excellent, and the hotel had many offerings for guests like bike rentals, train and boat tickets, a private beach, and more. I would definitely return to Hotel Fosterhof!

Great stay!!!

Försterhof is really nice. We stayed over the weekend with friends are there 9 year old daugther.
She loved it too. The breakfast was great. The \"beach\" near to the lake was great too.
The hotel is located really good, you need approx. 10 minutes in the center of St. Wolfgang and 5 min. to the station for the Schaffbergbahn aswell for the boat station.
Really recommend to stay

Nice hotel in St. Wolfgang

Overall, nice hotel. Was hoping to be closer to the lake, or to have a nice view of the lake, but this hotel offers neither. Hotel offered a nice buffet dinner for 21 euros. Free breakfast. Free parking. Hotel and restaurant staff members were friendly. It's a pleasing ten-minute walk into the center of St. Wolfgang.

Not worthy of 4star status. Good 3 star hotel

This hotel is rated as a 4 star, but there were several things we felt were lacking.....the public spaces were very limited and the few spaces that existed were generally filled with smokers, so on rainy days, you didn't feel comfortable at the hotel. The carpets in the halls upstairs were very worn and dirty, although the rooms themselves were very clean. Our room was very small, even for European standards. Other residents told us they got much bigger rooms after complaining, but there was a tour group that arrived, so we didn't feel like there was much hope for a change. The bathroom had only a shower, no bathtub. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices, and the room was very clean and cheerful. The restaurant staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the food didn't seem worthy of 4 star status either. Finally, the hotel was situated at the edge of town....both advantages and disadvantages. It was quiet and near some hiking trails, but pretty far walk from restaurants in town (okay about 10-15 minutes, but when its dark and raining its a bit of a walk).

Charming Place

This is a very charming place full of hospitality and alpine charm. The room was great and the breakfast. It was a bit outside the village (a ten minute stroll) which we really enjoyed but might put others off.

The location is at Wolfgang see, very quiet place. Good for relaxing and for romantic getaways but could be boring in Winter with everything close.

Service at the hotel was fabulous- the reception, the restaurant staff. The food at the hotel- the buffet breakfast and our set dinner was delicious!

We also enjoyed the Sauna facility provided FOC.

There is also a private beach 10 minutes walk away, and a cable car to the mountain about 25 minutes by bus away. The hotel is 10 min from the nearest bus stop and about 1.5 hours away by bus from Salzburg.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer prima. Parken kostenfrei am Haus. Strand am See mit Liegen, Sonnenschirm und einem Handtuch.

Frühstücksangebot war leider etwas unter dem österreichisch-gewohnten, wie frische Spiegeleier, Schinken und Müsli.

Trevligt och bra hotell för vistelse i Salzkammergut. Parkering precis utanför, men dåligt nätverk på hotellet. Eftersom också 4g fungerar mindre bra svårt när man behöver internet för streaming.

Professionell nettes Personal. Essen an sich gut. Aber es ist für mir zu teuer. Die Zimmer sind teils veraltet und wenig liebevoll. Es gibt kein Wellnessangebot. Mir waren die Portionen zu klein. Vegetarisch ist im Vergleich zum Fleisch echt überteuert. Schlimmstes Manko. Man hört oft einen ratternden Ventilator (Lüfter der Küche?) im Zimmer. Stundenlang wie ein Motorrad. Auch die Toilettenspülung rinnt und die Tür zum Bad ist mit Mühe aufzumachen. Einfach nicht gut genug modernisiert. Wirkt teils eher wie ein Arbeiterwohnheim. Und dafür ist es eben zu teuer mit über 200 € pro Nacht fürs DZ. Sowas akzeptiert man eher, wenn es dann eben auch sehr günstig geht. Strandzugang haben wir selbst nach viel Suchen nicht gefunden und ist offenbar weit. Das sind unsere Erfahrungen und Meinungen.

Very good location nearby the lake front and having a private beach. The staff is nice and welcoming.

휴양지를 감안하면 괜찮은 호텔(에어컨 없음 ㅠㅠ)

크거나 세련되지는 않은 호텔이고 약간은 시골적인 호텔이었습니다. 나름대로의 감각을 가진 객실 분위기였습니다. 방은 크지 않았고 휴양 지인것을 감안하면 가격은 납득할만한 정도 였습니다. 이상고온으로 날이 더운날에 갔었는데 아침부터 에어컨이 없어 힘들었습니다. 햇볕이 창가로부터 객실까지 내리쬐는 바람에 방안은 찜통이었습니다. 아침 식사이후로는 객실에 있기가 힘들어 할수 없이 외출을 해야했습니다. 대신 밤에는 선선하였구요. 아침 조식은 괜찮은 편이었습니다.

전반적으로 만족스러운 호텔

깨끗하고 좋은 호텔인 것 같다. 다만 주차장이 조금 떨어져 있어 불편한 점은 있었으나, 짐을 내리거나 실을 때는 차를 가까이 가져올수 있어서 많이 불편하지는 않은 것 같다.

Hotel qui convient mieux pour l'hiver ou pour les séjours en groupes car l'hôtel est bruyant du fait des nombreux groupes de cyclistes ou de randonneurs qui s'y croisent
Le parking voiture en terre et herbe est à plus de 200m peu pratique si la météo n'est pas favorable

깨끗하고 조용한 호텔

샤프베르크반까지 400m, 걸어서 5분거리입니다. 비록 11월에가서 산악열차가 문이닫았지만
상쾌한아침공기, 맛있는조식, 조깅하기좋은 환경, 주차 모두 만족스러웠습니다
장크트 볼프강에 다시간다면 또 이곳에서 머물고싶네요

Låg på promenadavstånd utanför byn. Mysig by med många restauranger. Fantastisk omgivning, härligt att promenerar längs sjön. Stannade en natt men vi hade kunnat stanna ngr till. Hotellet i sig var ganska slitet men helt ok. Bra o rejäl frukost.

Es waren leider 4 regnerische Tage, aber aufgrund der Guten Information an der Reception haben wir uns sehr viel angesehen.
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig und doch sehr zentral.

St. Wolfgangの中心からは少し離れているが。

街のはずれにあるホテルだが中心街までは徒歩10分程度と全く問題なし。少々奥まったところにあるので湖畔の景色は少ししか楽しめない。シャーフベルグ登山鉄道駅には近くて便利。
各部屋にバルコニーがあり部屋の広さも十分。中心から離れているため喧噪もなく落ち着いて過ごせる。朝食ビュッフェの内容も必要十分。夕食は食べていないがクオリティは高そうだった。

Die Lage das Hotels ist ok allerdings war das Zimmer dreckig, der Fernseher noch ein Röhrenfernseher, am Balkon ging die Farbe ab und der Boden war mittlerweile kaputt.

Gutes Frühstück, ansonsten zuviele Mängel für 4*

Heiß war´s - aber das war nicht so gut, denn die Klimaanlage war einfach nicht da (Westzimmer, alles klar?) -
ein 4-Sternehotel ohne Klimaanlage? Sauna gab´s zwar aber Inddorpool oder outdoor Fehlanzeige. Dabei hat die Gegend Wasser genug! Man bot uns keinen weiteren Zimmerschlüssel an, erklärte uns die vorhandenen nicht, der Parkplatzschlüssel ist kein Parkplatzschlüssel, sondern ein Schlüsselsymbol an der Parkschranke. Privatstrand ja - etwa 20 Min zu Fuß, hotelfremde Personen gehen dort aus und ein - für die Hausgäste sind dann die Liegen und Schirme einfach weg und wir lagen auf den Steinen am Strand ohne Schirm. SEHR POSITIV: Das Frühstück. Frisch gut reichlich - BRAVO! Aber eine Grundüberholung täte not, die Zimmer sind schon sehr mäßig eingerichtet - 4 Sterne? Nein - irgendwo unter 3...

볼프강에서 조금 왼편에 치우쳐 있으나(산악열차역 근처) 렌트하는 사람에게는 문제되지 않는 거리이며 방은 매우 청결하고 지내기 좋았음. 그러나 4성호텔임에도 식당도 한개뿐이며 수영장등 기타시설이 없음.

unpleasant memories. I will never stay this hotel

The receptionist woman with black hair were very annoying and unkind. We arrived the hotel around 19:30 pm. The women in the reception seemed to be unhappy when meeting us, because she didn't quite answer well about our questions. Even though there were so many available seats in the restaurant, she unpleasnatly answered that she couldn't take more quests, concerning to our request for dinner. After we kept insisting, she let us to join the dinner table. However, there were only a little crump on bread. No chicken, No food at all even though we paid 24 Euro per a person. If she had answered there were some leftover at that time, we could have not used the hotel restaurant with expensive price. Her interaction next morning were also terrible. Even though we kept waiting in the reception for some questions, she tried not to look at us, playing with child. We strongly felt that she segregate the race. I will never use this hotel and never recommend to stay.
Actually I felt that 1 point for evaluation was so waste.

Sehr gutes Hotel in Ortsnähe

Wir haben zusammen mit unserem 15jährigen Sohn eine Kurzreise nach St. Wolfgang unternommen und wurden äußerst freundlich im Hotel empfangen. Absolut überrascht waren wir dann von dem angebotenen Dreibettzimmer. Unser Sohn hatte einen eigenen Bereich mit einer schönen breiten Liege zur Verfügung und wir Eltern hatten neben einem kleinen Wohnzimmer auch noch ein eigenes Schlafzimmer. Als sehr angenehm empfanden wir außerdem, dass Toilette und Bad getrennt waren. Die Ausstattung war tadellos - das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte.

素朴で素敵なホテルでした

ヴォルフガング湖からは少し離れていますが、徒歩圏内です。中心部分からも少し離れていますが、これも徒歩圏内です。ホテルから湖は見えませんが、山間のペンションのような雰囲気でとてもリラックスできました。外観はオーストリア～南ドイツにあるような窓に花を飾ったもので、室内も清潔で居心地はよかったです。花をスタッフの方も英語が通じますし気さくでとてもいい人ばかりでした。朝食が７時半からとちょっと遅めで、自分たちはいつも６時頃から朝食を食べているので起床から朝食までが空腹だったので、部屋でたまたま持っていたポテトチップスをみんなで食べていました。一番の目的はシャフベルク登山鉄道だったので、これの駅にはすごく近くてよかったと思っています。日にちがあればもう一泊してのんびりしたかったな、とも思いました。
