Room was clean and spacious. The restaurant staff and breakfast team were very helpful and attentive. They made the perfect sunny side up I was impressed. Definitely my best dining experience during my 2 week trip going from Germany to Austria.

We book this hotel for golf experience from last stay, golf was canceled ! A garden without a golf course is no longer attractive, an area covered in wild grass looks scary, making the surroundings look unkempt, which is why I don't understand why a stay is unnecessarily expensive.

It was a good experience however I would not prefer to go there again. The staff was ok but did not see any smiles. We went there with two families and everyone had the same thoughts that we almost felt unwelcomed. Special thanks to Mariene, Dianne and Elvis at the restaurant for their oustanding hospitality.

Thank you for making our Christmas holiday perfect

Arabella hotel is a unique hotel that impressed our family.
Warm welcome from the reception as if you were greeted by your friends that respect you and want to look after you. We were offered as treat warm nuts in a paper bag that added on our Christmas mood upon arrival on Christmas Eve.
The classic decoration and the old Austrian style was impressive but at the same time you could easily identify how well maintained this hotel is up to detail.
The room was beautiful, spotless and big enough.
We had breakfast pre booked and it had great selection of breakfast including freshly baked Austrian Christmas cookies.
The Christmas dinner was up to Michelin star level! Super delicious.
The staff were so friendly but also very professional and I can’t comment enough the person that cleaned our room as for two nights they even polished the bath and cleaned behind the bed and that explains how spotless the hotel was.
Diana and Doti at the breakfast made us feel so warm on Christmas like we were with family!
The swimming pool was warm enough and also very clean. The windows around the pool offer beautiful views!
There was play area that our little one enjoyed as there is plenty of space and activities and games to keep kids busy. Our son was also offered a sledge to ride as it had quite a lot of snow when we visited.
The location is a plus also.
The only thing negative for us was that on Christmas Day we would expect a bit more festive atmosphere at the dinner.

This Hotel is wonderful from the views to the great staff and wonderful service and the rooms are very clean. It’s 20 mins away from Salzburg and 50mins away from Hallstatt so you can get to both and the restaurant was great definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was best. Unfortunately place has difficulty handling crowds - especially finding parking, booking the spa, or dinner reservations. Perhaps it is understaffed because facilities seem massive. Would have been nice if pool included hot tub. Private beach was terrible - no \"beach\", no dock, and water was not more than 2 feet deep for 100s of meters in any direction. They should instead provide free access to the public beach next door (and provide shuttle service, the walk down/up to the lake is very steep).

Stayed one night at the resort. It was great! Beautiful property and surrounding area. Short walk to picturesque lake and small beach area. Outdoor terrace/bar for drinks and a lovely view. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Salzburg area.

Expedia says that the front staffs will greet you upon arrival. That did not happen. Instead, they let the guest wait for 15 minutes. There were 5 guests waiting for the check in, but the receptionist did not pay attention and kept on typing on her computer. When my turn arrived, she never smiled or greeted, and showed the attitude. Another front staff during check out was not kind either.
I think they ruined the whole experience of the guests.

You have to do more...

When you have a hotel of this imposing category it is important to have the receptionists trained so that they make the guest feel that they are in a good place, this was not the case.

First they gave us a room without air conditioning that exposed the sun all day, it even had some windows that let in more heat. Commenting on this, they misleadingly responded that \"there was air conditioning\" in another part of the hotel, when it did appear in my reservation.

Then they told me that they did not have cleaning service and that they were going to deduct 5 dollars from the stay. At the end of the accommodation another person said that those 5 dollars were to be consumed at the hotel.

These things should not happen if they want to be a high-class hotel.
It's a shame because it's very beautiful but the service is shameful.

The best hotel!!!

Absolutely wonderful Christmas stay ✨
Cannot fault this hotel at all. We had such a lovely stay over Christmas. I was reluctant to book at first as the hotel is not in the centre of Salzburg and a lot of the reviews are from a long time ago, but it was the best decision!

The hotel is in the middle of wonderful countryside, it’s so nice to be able to explore the city and then stay in this lovely little picturesque town. It’s so easy to get to, just hop on bus 150 to/from Salzburg and it takes about 20 mins. The buses are super regular (even on Xmas day!), cheap and really comfortable.

The hotel is in superb condition, recently renovated by the looks of it and the decor is perfect. Our room was well furnished, super clean and we had a large balcony with a view of the mountains/lake.

Breakfast is included and was top quality. We also went to the hotel bar on Christmas Eve which was lovely and the drinks were spot on. We didn’t use the pool/spa as unfortunately didn’t have time but had a nosey and it looked wonderful.

All staff members were super friendly and if you get time to explore the surroundings you won’t forget it, they’re stunning. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel and encourage everyone to visit! I loved Salzburg but I’d come back just to stay here.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The resort is dog friendly. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. There is a kid game room and outdoor jungle gym. You can hike to the lake or drive 5mins into town. The spa area is relaxing and it was easy to get a massage same day.

It was comfortable (although there is nothing in the room as it has no mini bar - you need to buy items in the shop downstairs but this is ok .. they might have had issues here in the past)….The issue we had was around staffing. But - we had glass in our room floor (I cut my feet - there are no slippers in the room) and we asked the front desk to clean it - next day my wife cut her feet too) … they forgot to order the taxi we had requested (we only JUST made our flight after rebooking a taxi) … we booked two rooms and one had no air con in a heatwave … we had to change rooms as the first one was not what we had paid for … the first day at breakfast was a staffing shambles as was our service in the first evenings dinner … but the food itself was excellent) … so a lovely hotel spoiled by inconsistent staffing - I’m sure there is an excellent hotel in there - and many parts were good - but the parts that let it down really let it down which is a pity.

Amazing place with beautiful surroundings and beatiful swimming pool and great saunas. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Large and nice breakfast and big rooms. Very children friendly. Only problem was that it was very hot and in the room there was no air-conditioning only a ventilator. If y go in summer ask for room with air-conditioning. Also steep walk to get to lake. Little amenities in room just basic. All together excellent place.

Grosses und sauberes Zimmer und Badezimmer, Lage mit Anschluss zu See und genügend kostenlose Parkplätze. Bei Verzicht auf tägliche Zimmerreinigung erhält man einen Gutschein von 5 CHF.

Negativ:
Frühstücksbuffet zwar mit grosser Auswahl, qualitativ jedoch schlecht. Massagen wurden nicht angeboten, obwohl nirgends kommuniziert. Restaurant zu klein (für unseren ganzen Aufenthalt von 4 Tagen bereits ausgebucht). Temperatur Pool etwas kühl, (Für Hundebesitzer: Feuerwerk 31.12. direkt vor Hotel)

Bella struttura con due buoni opzioni per pranzo e cena, avevamo una suite, figlia con 39 di febbre e non facevano servizio in camera, servizio alla reception fatto in modo distratto e superficiale (mi sono accorta io che dovevamo registrarci per poter parcheggiare senza essere multati, non avevano termometro, indicazioni fornite per raggiungere Salzburg molto superficiali, come se fossimo locali e sapessimo già molto) non ci tornerei

Hotel muito agradável ao pé do lago Fuschel. Muito sossegado e com uma excelente piscina interior além de muitos espaços verdes e acesso ao lago embora o caminho seja algo ingreme e sinuoso. O restaurante só serve ao jantar mas o bar está sempre aberto e é uma boa opção para o almoço e mesmo jantar. No restaurante não servem bebidas alcóólicas mais fortes nem um descafeinado o que nos obrigou a ir ao bar o que é incompreensível.

Das Hotel ist im Großen und Ganzen sehr schön und mit Blick auf den Fuschlsee toll gelegen. Leider stimmt das Preis-und Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Das Personal im Restaurant und in der Bar war schlichtweg überfordert.

Schönes Haus mit kleinen Abstrichen

Schöne Lage, Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, gute Betten,hatten Tisch im Cervus reserviert, sind zum Tisch begleitet worden, 15 Min. später ! noch keine Speisekarte bekommen, sind wieder gegangen. In der Halali Bar war dann alles ok; schöne Frühstücksterrasse; Garage (für meinen Oldtimer) war leider geschlossen

Leider nicht gebuchtes Zimmer bekommen

Leider nicht wie gewünscht - vor allem da wir einen Aufpreis für Zimmer mit Garten View bezahlt haben - aber am Ende nur 2 Zimmer mit Blick auf das Nachbarhaus bekamen - der Blick war nicht schön. Morgens früh leider sehr laut auf dem Gang vom Service - Türen schlagen und viele Geräusche - gleiches leider auch im Ruheraum vom Saunabereich - es scheint niemand interessieren - auch war die Sauna nicht richtig warm. Insgesamt war es ein bisschen schade.

Ein sehr tolles Hotel mit einem tollen Wellnessbereich. Der Gesamteindruck ist super und die Lage direkt am See hervorragend. Es gibt mehr als ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten welche für Hotelgäste kostenfrei sind. Auch das Personal war höflich und zuvorkommend.
Da wir nur das Frühstücksbuffet hatten, können wir auch nur dieses bewerten. Hier gab es eine üppige Auswahl an Speisen, jedoch empfanden wir teilweise die Produkte als zu trocken oder qualitativ nicht so gut (Beispiel: zu trockener Kuchen, Industrierührei statt frischem, der Lachs war kaum genießbar).
Nichtsdestotrotz würde uns dies vor einem wiederholten Besuch nicht hindern.
