Super hotel in Salzkammergut
I adore Salzburg and the Salzkammergut Lakes region of Austria and this is my go to hotel whenever I'm in the area. Very friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet in the mornings and some excellent evening meals in the restaurant. It's approx 25 minutes to Salzburg by car, the lakes of Fuschlsee, Wolfgangsee, Mondsee and Hintersee are all less than half an hour away and don't miss Plötz Wasserfall which is a mile and a half from the hotel. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great place around 20 minutes drive from Salzburg centre , was very impressed with the accommodation, fantastic setting ,friendly welcoming staff, room was great, lovely breakfast, had a meal there one evening as opposed to eating out and it was delicious, I’d definitely stay again if going back to Salzburg and definitely recommend to friends as a good place to stay if visiting Salzburg.

the room was quite warm during the day as there was no blinds (only light curtains) and quite noisy in the evening/night due to the terrasse of the restaurant below our balcony and the close road. Otherwise nice and new bathroom and good beds.Breakfast OK.

The location to be able to visit Salzburg and the Salzkammergut lake area was good. The room was small and the bed not very comfortable. The staff is friendly and most speak English. Dinner here is a must. The chef is very good.

Great little lodge type hotel in Ebenau set in forest, about a 20 minute drive from Salzburg, so definitely need a car. Good for 1-2 nights as rooms extremely small as is bathroom. Nowhere to put luggage but is clean & compact. No lift - circular staircase which was tricky with large suitcases. No aircon but could open balcony door for fresh air. We had small balcony overlooking forest which was nice. Breakfast included which is continental & plentiful. Restaurant rustic with great home cooked meals. Staff very friendly & helpful. Good lodging for short stays.

We did not get the room that we booked and paid for. The first room was a single room. Then we were given a very small room with 2 single beds instead of a superior suite with double bed- we had to be greatfull that this room was available.

Truly a family atmosphere and absolutely gorgeous surroundings. If you like biking, hiking or anything outdoorsy, this is the place for you! At the end of the day you are welcomed to a “backyard bbq” dinner Austrian style. It is not fancy or super elegant with a gazillion amenities, but it is friendly, clean and very Austrian. I would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Obermayr. Easy check in on a Sunday afternoon. Spacious room on the top floor with a nice view of the woods behind the hotel. Quite with pleasant sounds of nature. The breakfast included had nice options and we enjoyed the coffee served by the polite staff. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to those who have a car to check out the surrounding areas.

We were greeted by Marvin who took very good care of us. The breakfast was very good and the rooms small but comfortable. The only complain is that they don't provide soap or shampoo which is the least any hotel can do.

My wife and I spent a few days and really liked everything about it. The room was not big, but not small and newly renovated. We faced the back (towards the forest) which is much nicer and quieter than the front. The included breakfast was good and the service was good also.

Pros: The hotel was clearly recently renovated, the restaurant was great and the location was very convenient. Overall, the hotel was great and I would highly recommend it.
Cons: The bed was a little uncomfortable, the room was snug, and (this is only temporary) the crews working in other parts of the building were a little loud at times.

The location was away from the city, its good if you want to stay at a quiet place in the nature and you are traveling with your vehicle. you have parking facility available. We were welcomed and offered an upgrade as they were doing some work outside that was rather noisy. We got a beautiful room with sitting area overlooking the mountains. The room was clean, and the breakfast was plentiful in a nice setting. Owners were friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this hotel if you like being in the country outside of the city. I would visit this hotel again.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good. We didn't have a car but bus stop was 5 mins walk away. The local village had a Christmas market which was lovely. It was so picturesque and with the snow falling made a really stunning pre Christmas break.

- Les murs des chambres sont très fins. On entend tout.
- La Saleté (!!): il y avait de la poussière de plusieurs mois sur les armoires, de la poussière dans les coins de la chambre ou en dessous de meubles qui n'ont pas été bougés, les miroirs étaient sales, il y avait des cheveux de précédents occupants ici et là, la planche des toilettes était sale et il y avait des tâches de moustiques éclatés aux murs avec encore leur tâche de sang.
- Vieillot (!): salle de bain basique, tables de nuit rudimentaires, prises électriques inexistantes, évier qui s'écaille, déco générale vieillotte. Mais ! Nous occupions apparemment une des seules chambres de l'étage dans cet état. A priori toutes les autres chambres de l'étage étaient bien !
- Les tentures sont non-occultantes
- il n'y a pas de VMC dans la salle de bain et donc il y a des tâches de moisissures. En tout cas c'était le cas dans notre chambre.

Wir hatten ein DZ für 2 und ein DZ für 2+ Kleinkind gebucht. Am Sonntag ab 16 Uhr) war niemand an der Rezeption; das Hotel war leer. An einer Tafel stand die Zimmernummer sehen.
Die Nr. 1 für die 3 war viel zu klein; es gab keinen Kleiderschrank, nur ein kleines, offenes Regal. Kein Platz zum Spielen, kein Platz für Gepäck. Ein Nachttischlampenschirm war angebrochen und eine Gefahr für kleine Kinderhände. Der beworbene Pool war trotz heißem Wetter zu. Wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt und kommen nicht mehr wieder. Nur die Dame vom Frühstücksdienst war nett.

Hotel gebruikt als overnachting ivm lange doorreis. Op zondag is de receptie niet open wat lastig was. Ook de Hotelbar en restaurant was al gesloten. Alternatief in het naast gelegen dorp was prima. Lekkere Snitzels met een heerlijke glas Witbier. Ontbijt was sfeervol en lekker. Opstart was nogmaals lastig maar toen we wegreden was het achteraf prima.

Eine gute Unterkunft, Zimmer frisch renoviert. Man sieht dem Hotel im Treppenhaus und vor allem im Gastraum noch sein Alter an. Liegt etwas abseits von Ebenau an einer Straße. Fijn hotel met mooie kamers en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijk personeel, sommigen kamers hebben een balkon met uitzicht. Dorp is wel op loopafstand om daar eventueel wat te eten. Wij zijn met de auto naar een ander dorp gegaan, wat prima aan te bevelen is.

Wir waren mit unserem 2,5-jährigen Kind dort, und für die Kleinen gab es verschiedene Spielsachen (Autos, Bausteine, Bauklötze usw.).
Unser Kind hat zwar wenig gegessen, war aber total begeistert von den Spielsachen. Besonders das kleine Hubschrauber-Spielzeug vom Frühstück hat er noch mehrere Tage lang erwähnt. 😅

Leider war bei unserer Ankunft gar kein Personal da. Es war nur ein Zettel an der Eingangstür, für jeden gut sichtbar, mit vollständigen Namen und dem Hinweis, dass unser Schlüssel im Zimmer 16 liegt und dies unser Zimmer ist.
Wir hatten extra ein Hotel mit Restaurant und Bar gebucht, weil wir nach unserer Ankunft den Abend gemütlich ausklingen lassen wollten.
