Our room was spacious and quiet with a view overlooking the hills at the back.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed the sauna - perfect after a cold days sightseeing.

Overall our stay was lovely and the hotel was perfectly placed for walking to the Old town.

This was a good 15-minute walk into Old Town..... bar staff were amazing, but always shorthanded.
No toiletries in the hotel, so be prepared. No minibar. No room service that I'm aware of. Pizza in the bar was delicious, however.
Shower pressure and heat were terrible. Our room was nice though....and recently redecorated. Beds uncomfortable.

Our stay at this hotel was actually not bad in any way, I would just say there are a few things that have been overlooked as the hotel has aged. The rooms were spacious, however they obviously had not been maintenanced in a while (i.e. paint and fixing any little wear and tear from frequent use). Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and kind. Very convenient 7 minute walk into the city center or the front desk can set you up with free tram service with the public transit system which I thought was exceptionally kind! We opted to walk and it was quite nice being able to see the views on our way into town. Breakfast was mid at best, I only tried it one morning and quickly realized it was not worth the 20+ euros. It is conveniently located next to a clean petrol station that we were able to pick up waters, juice, and snacks from. The gym had 4 machines and some weights but the treadmill was down. We didn't try the sauna based on the status on the hotel maintenance. All in all. A solid stay that may be slightly overpriced for the current state of the hotel, but with some refreshing it could be back up to it's original status.

Lovely hotel, but a bit of a walk (or short bus journey) into the centre & the old town. Our only complaint was the breakfast. It’s advertised as open until 10am week days and 11am at weekends. However when we went for breakfast around 9:15 and 10am at the weekend all the hot food was cold as the hot plates had been turned off. Also, they didn’t seem to have a supply of basic stuff to replenish plates. If the pastries had run out by 9:15 it was too bad, no more available.

The room decor was very nice with music note carpeting as an homage to “The Sound of Music”. The reviews said walkable from train station but it was a fair distance and not too straightforward. Property was great for one night. Staff although no issues, didn’t really make an effort to improve stay, but no complains. Location could be better but city is small so a quick uber takes you to the town centre. Would probably stay there again

We reached the hotel well before our check in time but were able to get our room early. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything we had to see was walkable, including the train station, tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. I would recommend the hotel to any visitors to Salzburg.

Nice hotel-very clean and the service was friendly. The hotel was right on the bus line so it was easy to get into old town (it was maybe a 15 min walk otherwise).

The people working at this hotel really make this hotel. They were friendly, polite, and professional.
Our room was clean and the breakfast had a wide selection of food which was nice.
It is roughly a 10-15 minute walk to the pedestrian shopping zone, and another 10-15 minute walk to the Altstadt. You can take a bus or taxi if you rather ride than walk.
The hotel does have a secure parking garage if you are driving.
We drove and walked into Salzburg from the hotel and found both options fairly easy. The walk wasn’t bad and parking was easy everywhere we went.
The hotel was nice but the bedding and towels were just okay.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would consider staying here again.

My wife and I stayed two nights and walked to the center every day.

Just a hint, not related to the hotel, don't use Uber, use taxis, the Uber drivers will accept your request and then message you that they have another customer and they will be 30 min late, or they will just pick someone else and leave you waiting!! I waited for 30min, asking uber to find another driver, and all uber drivers did the same. So use taxis, they are metered and friendly.

This establishment was great. It’s within walking distance to quite a few restaurants and also extremely close to the main train station. Staff was amazing and graciously helpful. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to travel in the Salzburg area.

Good place to stay

The location was good as you have got a station for public transportation and supermarkets nearby. Also we like bit of space for desk area. There was no balcony but was a wide step in front of window so it gave us extra space to sit or put our luggage. And there is an hotel pad which we can watch Youtube or listen to music from.

The hotel was conveniently located near the train station and numerous restaurants. There was a small gym and an incredible sauna which we used daily. Our only complaint was that our rooms air conditioning was not functioning and our window opened to a very noisy and busy street. The food was fantastic. They offered a bountiful buffet breakfast. The staff were amazing

Not close to any of the main attractions. Dirty marks on walls. I had to change rooms as the first room had terrible curtains that did not completely cover the window so the neon lights from the BP and the Nightclub next door shone through all the gaps so i couldn't sleep. I complained at 7am and returned at 3pm to find they had not bothered to look into it in those 8 hours.

We were satisfied with our stay despite some quirks. We had a large junior suite for our family of three. The space was large and comfortable, although the purple Mozart-inspired interior of the room felt a tad outdated. The location was walkable to anything we needed and the staff were helpful and efficient. The oddest aspect to our stay was that we were on the east side of the building and the adjacent food truck courtyard turned into a nightclub on the weekend. LED lights projected on walls and thumping music. We set our white noise app to full blast and went on our merry way but the disruption did persis until 1:30am. I would stay here again but felt that the value was reduced by this neighboring business.
