Family-run for 3 generations, the elegant boutique hotel enjoys a quiet location in the heart of Salzburg and features a charming garden terrace, a spa area with a roof terrace. All of the 55 guestrooms are individually designed and furnished.

All rooms feature coffee and tea making facilities. The rich breakfast buffet, which is served every morning, offers a wide range of local, homemade and organic products.

In fair weather in summer, guests can also have breakfast on the garden terrace. Guests can enjoy refreshing drinks at the in-house bar and the café.

Yoga lessons are offered every Wednesday morning in the spa area, and relaxation massages are also provided. The breakfast room, the bar, and the City Spa (with sauna, steam bath, and a beautiful roof terrace) are located in the Hotel Auersperg.

Perfect location for walking to Old Town. Large selection of restaurants nearby and in Old Town. Staff is helpful, communication and check in very easy. Parking is available at a cost. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Chose a nearby breakfast restaurant. No reason, just wanted to try something different. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and will return if in Salzburg again.

Quiet hotel walkable in Salzburg

We loved this hotel. Spacious rooms. Great shower. Comfy bed. Views, good bar and restaurant, and ultra friendly staff. You can walk everywhere, and it’s convenient to the train. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Great location and awesome staff! Half mile from the main HBF (walkable) and close to the AltStadt. Still tucked away from the hustle and bustle though. The staff was great and very attentive when I needed assistance. Highly recommend the restaurant and bar. The staff there go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. Lastly, I had a nice villa room that was well appointed and spacious. I will come back here again for sure!

We stayed two nights at this boutique hotel. We had a garden facing room that was spacious and lovely. Everything about this hotel is professionsl while quaint, beautifully designed and comfortable. I would describe it as elegant. Staff are gracious and professional in every way. The hotel is situated in the new town and a 5 minute walk to cafes. 10-15 minute walk to old town through lovely streets. Central train station is an 11 minute walk. Breakfasts are wonderful and the evening dinner also good. We highly recommend this hotel. It is much quieter here than in the throngs of tourists in the old town.

The hotel was very cool and unique. However, the room was not good for various reasons: 1) there was a somewhat dangerous step or ledge in the middle of the room that one could easily trip over. I had to cover the step /ledge with a yoga mat to remind myself to not trip when walking from the bed to the bathroom. Also the bathroom was extremely narrow. Probably not a good size bathroom for the average size person. Im sure oter rooms at the hotel were probably better and didnt have the dangerous two level floor.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet hotel located about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from both the train station and Salzburg's old town. The room was clean and luxurious -- I wish I had extra time there. The surrounding area is quiet, which it's only a few minutes away from a shopping pedestrian street. Breakfast was fantastic with tons of options. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Received a warm and helpful welcome from reception. All staff very nice. Bar and restaurant service was good. The owner came round at breakfast to say hello which was nice. Good selection options at breakfast which was well stocked and refreshed. Evening restaurant menu was limited, but food was good. Some aspects of our room was dated and the shower over the bath awkward to use and didn't have much pressure. Some mould around the bath tap. Although the bathroom window had frosted glass, felt there should have been additional blind. The spa was very good. Quiet location and only a short walk into town with easy access to public transport. Overall a pleasant stay and would return and recommend.

This was the best hotel I stayed at while in Europe though it was not the most expensive. The people here were great, so kind and helpful and went way out of their way. They just had a great vibe. The room was fantastic and had every amenity including heated floors and heated towel racks, a great view and balcony. I kept telling my friends how this was the perfect hotel room as no detail was left to chance. This is a hotel that is lovingly cared for. The location is fantastic within easy walking distance and close to a bus stop too in case you want to do day excursions further out of Salzburg. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

We felt so fortunate to stay here.

The location was perfect just blocks from the walking street to old town. The breakfast buffet was superb and the service especially wonderful. They have a lovely garden (sadly we didn’t get to enjoy as it rained during our visit) and beautiful spa complete with steam room and sauna. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I ever have the good fortune to return to Salzburg.

Lovely property in Salzburg. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Particularly at breakfast, they could not do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious, Eggs made to order, and fresh espresso. The hotel is located on a quieter street, but an easy walk to all the activity. This is actually desirable as the main tourist thoroughfare gets very busy. We had a lovely room overlooking a garden, with a small terrace. the room also had a small sitting area. It was a bit of an upgrade, but definitely worth it. Again, lovely hotel, very accommodating staff, five star.

We have travelled a lot throughout Europe and am happy to say that this hotel has been our absolute most favourite! The rooms are a wonderful treat - the breakfast delicious and the staff were the friendliest and most helpful staff we have ever experienced! The hotel is off the busy streets a bit but very walkable to absolutely everything. The hotel itself has many hidden gems like a beehive (honey used for breakfast each morning) roof top terrace (nice for a glass of wine before bed) lounge chairs on the lawn with pillows and blankets to watch the stars at night and much more. I must highlight the staff the most. They were so welcoming every single day and helped us with many reservations and itinerary planning.

This hotel is such a lovely place to stay in Salzburg. It is on a quiet street very close to the city center and the Old Town. We were there in December and there are wonderful Christmas markets. This part of the city is very walkable. The hotel staff were excellent, professional and friendly and very helpful. I encourage you to add the breakfast as it is worth the extra euros. The building, while vintage, has been thoroughly updated. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We loved it here

High quality boutique hotel /worth the splurge.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 3 week trip. I love it when the hotel staff shows you around the hotel and walks you to the room.
We stayed in the \"Villa\" which is a few steps across the parking lot from the main hotel. It was quiet and relaxing. And there was an ELEVATOR! The Villa had been wonderfully remodeled from a former 1920s or 1930s office building. The decor was unique, vintage and charming.
We had a king size bedroom with sofa and LOTS of space. The bathroom was the biggest we had on our trip.
Parking was right out the back door and easy to access. The breakfast room was in the main hotel building and it was beautiful, with excellent service and wonderful choices.
We paid the most for this hotel in Salzburg. But it was worth the splurge. It was about 4 blocks to the Mirabel Palace and another couple of blocks beyond that to the Old Town. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was warm, comfortable and spacious (we booked a suite) with bath, sofa, desk, changing space and drinks counter. It got a little too warm during the night so best to turn the heating down at night. The spa was great, really relaxing, and I enjoyed a great massage too. The breakfast was unusually extensive and very enjoyable, and the dinner menu was good. The reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely property overall in good location - but standards across 3 nights stay varied. Breakfast service 1st day morning was poor despite so many staff hiding in back. 2nd morning breakfast service was great - staff out offering guests eggs and coffee - then 3rd morning back to hiding in back. Just offer a coffee machine for guests to use may help. Expected more from breakfast - same everyday lacked smoked salmon, pain au choc or other items included in other hotels in Austria. Housekeeping was varied too - from very good to a rather rushed looking limited tidy up. Stayed in villa room - lacked slippers and bathrobes in room yet available in mini spa in main hotel. Spa area was good. In villa room ensuite with good shower but very limited in terms of products - one hand wash and one shower/shampoo gel - expected more for this standard of hotel. Lovely garden with outdoor seats - very relaxing. Good stay overall but room for improvement - on checking out receptionist tried to charge again for room despite this being prepaid and only city tax due - this was disappointing. Bit more focus on the guest experience required throughout the stay.

Beautiful Hotel

It's a very cute, clean place. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I loved our beautiful room, it was clean, cozy, and hip. It even had face cloths!
There was an excessive amount of loud banging coming from the floor below, but other than that, it was an exceptional stay.
Would gladly stay here again, and highly recommended 👌

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Everything was thoughtful, tasteful, relaxing, and beautiful - from the lay of of the spacious bedroom, the oversize bathroom with its heated tile floor, to the friendly staff and beautiful courtyard, not to mention the amazing breakfast spread with wide selection of organic and delicious cheese, bread, porridge, pressed juice, fresh fruits, and made to order cafe drinks. I look forward to returning to this oasis in beautiful Salzburg.

We stayed in the Villa, and the room was excellent! Spacious size, clean, quiet, a towel warmer in the bathroom, and plenty of storage space (my husband likes to unpack all his things!)
The front desk employee (I think her name is Jutta) was welcoming and helpful, giving us advice about where to walk/eat/sightsee.
The free breakfast is wonderful- tons of delicious options, with very sweet and helpful service staff. I highly recommend this hotel- we loved our stay!

One of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. The room is spacious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the view is great. And I love the room the most. A lot of details I love. Like the chocolate, welcoming card, and water they prepared. And they even provide slippers... But it's a 4-star hotel, a little bit expensive but I guess it's worth the price. The closet is very spacious, and they even have CDs and books. The view of the garden is awesome.

Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, well appointed rooms.
The hotel and villa are only minutes from the busy Linzer Gasse, the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants.
My only suggestion would be to bring a small travel fan during the hot weather. While our room had A/C, it could not keep up with the heat.
Otherwise, one of our favorite stays!

A Perfect Stay!

My husband and I were delighted with our stay! We walked from the train station, and easily navigated all over Salzburg from this terrific location! At check in, we were given a great overview of the hotel, and pamphlets to help us plan our time. Our villa room was a great size, well appointed, and so quiet! We even slept with the windows open!

Breakfast every morning in the dining room and garden was exceptional! The patio and tranquil green space was so relaxing - a perfect retreat from the busyness of Salzburg.

Staff at this hotel are so service oriented, and helpful. Stay here! You won’t regret it!

Good stay but there’s some point you should know !

Great base for a city trip

City trip to Salzburg. Fabulous location, super-pleasant staff. The room condition, however, left something to be desired (hangers were torn, the vanity set was empty, the shutters couldn’t be lowered because the appropriate string was torn). Importantly, the room looked nothing like in the picture, was much smaller and less airy. Having said this, unless youplan to spend much time in the room, it is fully satisfacory.

The hotel has a very nice garden with a bar.
