Front door hidden in dark alleyway. No lift for luggage.
We arrived at 11am and stored our luggage, and were told to return at 2pm to checkin. We walked back from the Altstadt to checkin and change, but there was no answer at the hotel front doof from 2.05 to 2.25.

This is a good place to stay for a vacation.
It’s accessible to public and private transportation.It’s not as luxurious as 5 star hotel but it’s clean and the staffs are friendly.
The elevator is not spacious for people with wheelchair. The place is not so convenient for wheelchair bound patient.

Location although a bit close to the city but felt a bit sketchy. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was really tiny. Breakfast was provided continental style with stickers insides of the ikea cups… who knows if they washed them. Juice watered down; milk kept out warm. It served the purpose but I wished I found something nicer and clothes to the center.

Once inside, the room was ok. However, it was clear that the bathroom had flooded as I had to lean in to that door to gain entrance as the bathroom door was expanded into the floor. I made sure to keep the bathroom door at the same location and found the door moved after ‘cleaning’. Room also smelled like drain pipe sewage.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service

We were very disappointed with our recent stay. Our bathroom flooded, and it was clear from the swell of the door that this wasn’t the first time it had happened. We called the front desk, and while the staff member did come to check, he offered no real help. He said he’d see if another room was available but never followed up—we had to go back 30 minutes later to ask again, only to be told there were no rooms left.

Instead of offering assistance or sending housekeeping, he handed my husband towels and left us to clean up the mess ourselves. When I asked if he had a mop or broom since this clearly shouldn’t be our responsibility, he said he would check but again never returned.

Overall, the situation was handled poorly and left us feeling frustrated and disregarded. Basic customer service and accountability were sorely lacking.

This place is close to the train station so we walked there with our suitcases. It was also easy to walk into the centre of town. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. However, the family room is very very small. It was the kind of room where it's too hard for more than one person to walk around. We were there as a family of four with two teenage children. The room was super clean but it felt like we were at summer camp.

Hotel is not easily identified, Parking is behind the building and not easily accessible. Reception Desk is on second Floor of Hotel and not conveniently located to conduct business properly. There are no elevators, and if you have suitcases it's difficult. No climate control in room, and the fan that was in the room was not working properly. Maintenance Staff attempted to do repairs at 8pm as we were settling in for the night. Unfortunately this was not a good experience for us.

Hotel was conveniently located about 5 mins walk from the main railway station. Entry door to the hotel is on the ground floor but immediately you need to go up 2 flights of stairs and there is no lift. Check in was fine and we asked for and received our free travel pass for the duration of our stay. Room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Included breakfast was ok - choice of about 4 cereals, a variety of breads with ham and cheese, boiled eggs, and fruit juice and tea coffee. However, we arrived in Salzburg in the middle of a heatwave and the room was like a sauna and the only cooling was an ineffective ceiling fan, which got noisier by the day. So, would I stay here again? Possibly, but not in the height of summer.

Good for large families

Only available option in Salzburg for large family accommodations. Paid parking offsite at around 20euro for 24hrs or offsite for ariund 23euro. Not a hard walk to downtown area; did it with small kids. The hotel feels like a hostel with family sized rooms. They offer a small continental type breakfast that does the job. Beds are comfy and clean. Family room came with its own shower and bathroom which was clean and orderly. Overall, would stay again for the convenience and space for the family.

Budget hotel. Don’t expect a lot. My room was close to reception and the guy there chats on the phone with a loud voice sometimes which was annoying. Family run hotel. Recommended for 1-2 nights for solo travellers or business. Location was in the heart of the city and near the main train station.

I arrived early, but was very warmly welcomed and the signing in process was efficiently handled. There is an arrangement to leave cases, which is very useful.
The rooms are basic, but exceptionally clean. The quality of and towels was high.

After reading some reviews online (after already booking) I was worried, we arrived after 4 and the room wasn’t ready, the man on reception quickly gave us a different room, rooms are basic but clean.
It was very warm when we arrived but we were able to turn the radiator off and there is a fan in the light too.
The area around the hotel looks rundown but it has fantastic transport links and is only a 20minute walk to the tourist areas.
I would be happy to stay there again if I return to Salzburg.

So so, probably wouldn't stay there again.

We tried to leave luggage there overnight while we went to a different city but they were very uncooperative and unhelpful, argumentative and made it sound like if we left it there they almost wouldn't guarantee that it would be there when we got back. Also, when I first got there they couldn't seem to find my reservation. It was very noisy from the street till about 1:00 in the morning. The pillows were awful and the twin bed basically had a hole in the middle of it so it couldn't be slept in which made us have to crowd together in a different bed.

Paid in full in advance but upon checking in had to pay a surprise €2 per person ‘city tax’ even though I already paid tax in the original booking through Expedia. Room was clean but smelt very strong of cleaning chemical and floor was sticky from so much cleaner used. Breakfast was good.

We had a hard time finding this property, and when we did, we were shocked to see the area that it was in. All the rooms were upstairs and looked to be relatively new but the entire rest of the building and the area was totally unsafe. We forfeited our, two rooms that were prepaid to go somewhere else. I have never done that before. It would’ve been helpful if there was an outside location picture.
Even my husband and son did not feel comfortable going out to get food or walking in the area.

The hotel is a 5 min walk from the train station and the main parts of town are easily accessed by foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a plentiful breakfast provided
Only complaint was that on arrival we had to wait 45min beyond the stated check in time for our rooms to become available and then got offered a twin room instead of the 2 rooms we had booked. All was sorted in the end but added a delay to our plans for the afternoon.

Pros: bed was comfortable and hotel is close to the main train station.
Cons: MOLD. There was mold growing in my shower, on the bathroom ceiling, and in the body wash dispenser. Make sure to bring your own toiletries if you choose to stay here.
Part of the hotel directly faces a gas station/market/outdoor bar thing. There was always people outside at the bar drinking and smoking so I felt like I could never open my window/curtain due to the noise and lack of privacy.
I arrived here a couple of hours after the noted check-in time, but my room was not ready. I had to wait about 15 minutes after arriving (not the biggest deal, but annoying after a long travel day). When I finally got into my room, it smelled really funky inside.
All in all, I would not recommend this place.

Cheap & cheerful. Very clean, and comfy bed & duvets. Adequate buffet breakfast.
Location is reasonable - Less than 10-min walk to Mirabelle Gardens and then couple more to the bridges across the river to the old town, and a 3 or 4 minute walk to the main train station, so quite easy to reach from the airport (via Bus Line 2)
Petrol station across the road had groceries & drinks to buy when returning to the hotel.

Do not stay at this hotel. The staff put in no effort towards the guests. It was very hot during our stay (no ac in room) and the fan was broken, replacement wasn't provided. The bed was broken down. We slid down into the headboard and towards the middle of the mattress as we slept. The entrance is gated and a key is needed to release the arm, so it takes multiple steps to get into the parking. Busy, noisy area. The breakfast room had boxes of facial tissue on the tables for napkins. Do not stay at this hotel!

We traveled as a family. The lock for the door to our room was broken. There was scaffolding that ran the entire length of the building right outside our window. Our room smelled like chemicals and the floor was sticky. We tried to see about changing rooms, but no one was there after we checked in that evening. We were supposed to stay 3 nights. We stayed one night and then checked out to go to another hotel down the street. We had to pay for the next two nights because it was not refundable. The “family room” was very small.

Upon arriving at this hotel we were very skeptical and should have just left without checking in but decided to give it a try as we had already booked it for 4 nights. It was WAY too hot in the room with no AC and the windows barely opened a tiny crack. The sheets were like sandpaper. The mattresses super uncomfortable. The pillows like a sack of potatoes and the room was tiny. The breakfast buffet was pathetic with almost zero options and the staff overcharged me for taxes and parking based on what was listed on Expedia. We knew about 1 hour into our arrival that we would not be staying here if we could find ANY other options. Thankfully we found something MUCH better and for less money per night. Should have read the other reviews and stayed away. We’ll know better next time…

Found it through an alley and you could get into building with talking up someone on an intercom or something. Hotel was overall not a bad place to spend a couple days, but the area around it is questionable. We never felt unsafe, but it’s not the best area of Salzburg. Hotel breakfast was good, but seating was limited. In our room, one of the windows wouldn’t open, but thankfully there was a ceiling fan. Centrally located with good communication to airport and short work to the old town. it filled the role of a low cost hotel, basic breakfast for a quick stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned late in the day and on our first day the floors were not swept or mopped. After letting reception know this was done for the rest of our trip. Over all it was good and for the price we paid it absolutely fine.

Male worker added extra \"taxes\" although when booking it confirmed all taxes were included. When asked to pay, i shown my card, he insisted we paid cash but we didnt have any so he spoke in german, probably annoyed because he couldnt fiddle the transaction. The room was a 3-bed (1 double & 1 single) leaving very little room for movement. Tue sheets and bedroom were clean hiwever we had to soak the shower head before use as it was disguisting. The room was very dusty, everytime i walked in the ro9m i had a nosebleed from the irritation. There was no way to change the temperature so the room was very hot all the time even with the window open. There was clumps of dust inder the bed and on the 2nd night we found silverfish pests - so glad it was our last night! You are given a hotel card for the main door, and a key for your hotel room although the cleaners have a master fob. We never left any valuables in the room whilst we were out. The petrol station outside was very intimidating to walk by especially when it came to night time, there seemed to be a lot of thug looking groups lurking around and watching you as you pass. I would not recommend staying here if you are having a city break.

At first night I couldn’t sleep since the pillow was very thin, I asked for extra pillow and he didn’t give me. Second night was better, they gave me pillows.

Our door lock didn’t work properly, so we had difficulty locking the door when we were in the room. Building was secure, and room was otherwise adequate. Our stay was a last minute decision when we missed our connecting train and couldn’t make it to our intended destination for the night. Hotel was near the train station, staff was very nice and helpful, and breakfast (which was included) had a nice selection of choices.

Once you find the front sliding door to the property, you are greeted by overflowing garbage cans. Then you have to hoof your luggage up a flight of stairs to the reception area. While the room seems clean, the fan made sounds all night. The television didn't work. It's in a very noisy part of town and from what I could tell, not a very safe place to stay.

Buyer beware. The rooms are much smaller than the description would have you believe. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was adequate, but the room was very small. I was told in advance that I was reserving a \"family room with 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 double sofa bed\". I felt that the room description on Orbitz is insincere. What we got were 4 twin beds stuffed in a room the size of a college dorm room (maybe smaller). Otherwise, the hotel was adequate. I'm a firm believer in honesty. If the room is small, just tell me in advance and I'll be OK with it.

More like a motel or hostel. Above the car park. Entrance was simply a staircase (no lobby). Male staff at front desk was quite rude and impatient but the female cleaning staff was nice. We put our luggage there after check-out but no one responded to the door bell when we returned. Few minutes later, the cleaning staff unlocked for us and she considerately asked us if we need to use the toilet after we took the luggage.

I never actually stayed at this hotel as they sold my room although I had a confirmation number . We arrived at 8 pm , it’s hard to find , hidden behind a Shell station, the owner drove us to another hotel where I slept on the sofa as the bed was broken. What can I say ? About hotel garni ? It looked clean and I would have been quite happy to stay there , just really annoyed that they didn’t honor the booking, but he also fixed the problem he created and we were not charged for the hotel so no can’t complain about that.?

We arrived after 3:30, reception suggested we get one room for four instead of our two separate rooms that were previously booked online. Had to wait 15 min to get room which ended up being very crowded for the four of us. One bed was broken as it sagged terribly in the centre and the middle leg was propped up by a piece of wood. The end leg did not rest on the floor at all. Was not comfortable whatsoever to sleep in. The bathroom sink drain pipe constantly leaked water all over the floor and our second day there was no hot water at all meaning no showers. Breakfast was terrible. Felt like we were staying at a self check in and check out hotel. No one at the reception in the evening or upon check out. Had to pay room fee upon check in. We ask reception to send a taxi to pick us at checkout for 4 and to accommodate our luggage being 8 pieces. The taxi was prompt however the driver was angry and shouting at us as his vehicle could not accommodate us. The hotel could not even do this correctly for us. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Was the worse hotel stay out of many in our Europe travels.

Great location , unfriendly staff

The hotel was difficult to find, as the entrance was off the main road. The room was fine and the hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station. However, no one is friendly at the reception, almost giving you the feeling that you are interrupting them.

Considering the reviews I read the hotel was not actually as bad as people make out, I stay at 100 of hotels a year with business, this one had some of the best WiFi, one of the most powerful showers and a comfortable bed, the only down side was the staff at the reception seamed pre occupied on check in and check out.

Nice hotel close to train station

This is a no frills hotel with good breakfast, excellent location near the Train Station, Mirabelle gardens short Walk easy access to all bus lines. Rooms are clean we were three so we had a double bed and a twin plus a sofa. They held our luggage while we went into the city until our late night flight out. Very nice staff!

The price for the room was definitely too much, but then again I was happy to even fine a room in Salzburg at the last minute. The value for money was not good.
