Great room and view, the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The reception staff were not too helpful, we had to request the free drink voucher as we were not given it on arrival. This hotel is a good location, close to the train station and not too far from the town centre and attractions.

Despite our confirmed booking months ago, we were turned away as the hotel was overbooked when we arrived on New Year’s Eve. Staff did not do anything to help find an alternative accommodation, except to expect us to contact Expedia (whose chat was unmanned and could not be contacted). Hotel is now late with the refund. Unacceptable.

Went for the Christmas Market and I was given a corner room facing the mountains and it was wonderful. It's not far from the train station and Starbucks and still walking distance from the shopping district. The bed was very comfortable as well

Everything was good, except.... We had forgotten gloves in the check in area. The employee lied and said no one turned them in. If another guest hasnt have been there(he turned them in) we wouldn't have gotten them back. We all had to insist they were there, she then walked over and got them. So the emplyee KNEW they were there. After check out we forgot a charger and cable(yes losing things was our bad). But when we called, she said they hadn't found it. Which we would have believed has another guest said the cable was sitting on the desk. The cable is very distinct (color and size).

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Rooms and bathrooms were modern and clean. Had an amazing view from my room (had the view of the train tracks and mountains) and enjoyed seeing the unobstructed sunrises from my bed. The bar also had some amazing panoramic views at the top. Conveniently located near the train station so it’s easy for connections and walking distances to altstadt and attractions. Unlike many other train stations in Europe, Salzburg main station feels safe and doesn’t have any sketchy persons around so safety was not an issue for me.

We really liked this hotel and would happily stay there again if we came back to Salzburg. Excellent location near the train station but within walking distance of the old town. The hotel is modern and functional in style, with good sized bedrooms featuring electrically activated blinds. There is nothing flash about it but it looks good. Despite being by the train tracks, we were not disturbed at all by any train noise. Our favourite things about the hotel were the roof top bar with its 360 degree view overlooking all of Salzburg, and the sky bar. Having an evening drink in the sky bar with the lights of Salzburg spread out in front of us was lovely and relaxing.

Very nice hotel!
My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I think overall it was very good and very close to the main bus/train station! There is also a supermarket (Billa) right across the road so that’s a plus! We booked the Mountain View room and it was on the top floor (right below the rooftop bar and restaurant) and the view was truly stunning! The room was also very nicely decorated and modern.
However, there are couple of things I hope the hotel can improve as it truly has the potential to be an amazing hotel!
1. Pillows: we got one each but they were VERY flat, it felt like there were no pillows at all.
2. We noticed there were a few very small stains on the duvet cover and a few hairs. I hope the cleaning could be done a little bit better.
The other thing is that the room we stayed in there was no door for the shower, it literally faced directly to your bed. It wasn’t a matter for us as a couple but I can imagine it could be a bit awkward if you were travelling with family or your parents. I’m not sure if it’s just my room so better check before you book.

I loved the artsy vibe of this hotel. The room was great and was roomy enough for my family of four. We love all the floor to ceiling windows! The only thing we found odd was that there wasn’t a door or curtain to cover the shower area for privacy. Other than that we loved our stay at the hotel and would recommend it.

The shower is in a glass box in the middle of the room. One side is entlrely open to the room, there is no door or curtain on the shower itself, and the curtain between the bed and the glass box is sheer. There is nowhere in the room you can be where the person showering is not on full display. I cannot conceive of how this gets designed this way, or why it gets mentioned as only a little \"quirk\" in some of the reviews. It's patently ridiculous. Even if traveling as a couple, the light, heat, and humidity require a door, not to mention privacy is always welcome. For a family it was massively annoying. To be fair (?) this is actually shown in the pictures for the rooms if you know what you are looking at, but it simply never occurred to me that a room would ever be designed in such an inhospitable way. Aside from this, the pillows and towels are thin and uncomfortable. The design is \"industrial\" which does mean the soundproofing is good; on the other hand, there is no closet, counter space, or other useful items. It was serviceable in other ways, but not inclined to give them any credit given the bathroom situation.

Loved the hotel, we arrived at 8am having arrived from Milan on the night train, we asked if we could freshen up some where as our check in wasn’t until 3pm and they said our room was ready and that we could use it straight away. Added to that Salzburg is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Also no complimentary tea or coffee in the room and only finding out via our tour guide that the hotel didn't mention we get free public transport. A wonderful modern hotel with a great breakfast on the top floor with a glorious view of Hohendalzburg. Location at the Hauptbahnhof was perfect for us as we used the trains and buses a lot. Of course being in this area does not bring the best aesthetics when you walk outside, but I still rate the experience 5 Stars.

Excellent location and VIEWS !!
The hotel is located right next to the bahnhoff, making it very easy to get to and from the area, and the proximity to the old town, Mirabellplatz, and the river makes it an excellent choice. The upper 2 floors for the bar and breakfast area privide great views of the city and the fortress on the hill.

Im Großen und Ganzen ist das arte Hotel super. Neues Gebäude mit toller Aussicht von oben und nettem Personal. Ein paar Dinge waren trotzdem nicht okay, vor allem wenn man den Preis bedenkt und auch das Image, mit dem das Hotel wirbt.
Wir hatten 4 Zimmer von denen eins nicht sauber geputzt war, außerdem ist das WLAN eine absolut Katastrophe (0,4 MBit/s). Wir haben ein extra Mülleimer für Windeln aufs Zimmer bekommen, in dem waren jedoch noch alte Windeln vom Vorgänger.
Wir hatten 4 Zimmer von denen eins nicht sauber geputzt war, außerdem ist das WLAN eine absolut Katastrophe (0,4 MBit/s). Wir haben ein extra Mülleimer für Windeln aufs Zimmer bekommen, in dem waren jedoch noch alte Windeln vom Vorgänger.

This was a nice, clean and modern hotel. The luggage storage was great and allowed us to go explore the city until we could check in. Our room was exactly as pictured. The only heads up I might give future bookers - if you’re booking for a family (we had 2 adults and 2 kids) the bathroom isn’t the best set up older kids who might be shy/private. The bathroom is open on one and another side is glass with a thin curtain. I knew this going in and as we were only staying one night it was fine. But my modest tween would absolutely NOT shower in there though my 8 yo didn’t care. Other than that both my kids loved the room and the hotel, as did the adults. Would def stay again.

Hotel is great, with amazing views, great breakfast, good beds, very convenient location.
The bathroom bin was not cleaned from previous guests and also room could have been cleaner. Receptionists seemed very stressed, we've seen few unpleasant encounters with other guests too.
We extended our stay extra one night, paid cash to have a quick check out next day to catch the train, and would receive the invoice upon check-out. To our surprise the check-out receptionist next day told us there was no record of our payment from the previous day, she delayed us, had to check with other receptionists where are the missing money, and stressed us greatly, which was rather a bitter end to our lovely stay.
The bathroom bin was not cleaned from previous guests and also room could have been cleaner. Receptionists seemed very stressed, we've seen few unpleasant encounters with other guests too.
We extended our stay extra one night, paid cash to have a quick check out next day to catch the train, and would receive the invoice upon check-out. To our surprise the check-out receptionist next day told us there was no record of our payment from the previous day, she delayed us, had to check with other receptionists where are the missing money, and stressed us greatly, which was rather a bitter end to our lovely stay.

The staff members at check-in were friendly and helped us with a Salzburg card as well as which bus to catch. The room was a good size, and the drinks in the bar fridge were a nice touch. The mountain views from the room were beautiful. Public transport is close by and very easy to catch to all Salzburg sites. The only thing I would change is that it would be good if the shower could be closed off rather than being open planned within the room.

Fire alarms and noisy pipes … not good for sleep!
I hate to write a bad review, but definitely think twice before booking this one. Two nights in a row we were awakened after 11pm by fire alarms, apparently caused by guests showering too hot. That shouldn’t be possible. And the plumbing is very noisy - like air was trapped in the drains. So, you could a very loud noise like thunder every time someone above you used water. Therefore, while it looks pretty and high-end, it seems like a poorly built or engineered building which causes a lot of sleepless nights. And the front desk didn’t offer anything other than a sheepish apology… I guess they get these complaints a lot. Oh, and the shower has a glass wall into the bedroom so I hope you like to be an exhibitionist!

Hotel około 6-7 letni, co jak na Salzburg jest dobrym prognostykiem, bo w mieście dominują raczej stare, wysłużone już hotele. Niewątpliwym plusem jest podziemny parking o dużej liczbie miejsc, co też nie jest standardem w tym mieście. Warto dopłacić parę groszy i wziąć pokój na wyższym piętrze, z którego można rozkoszować się panorama miasta. Dobry pomysł z ulokowaniem restauracji i baru na dwóch najwyzszych piętrach hotelu. Pewna niedogodnością może być brak czajnika w pokoju. Żelazko i deska do prasowania są dostępne w recepcji. Internet chodzi raczej z przeciętna prędkością, ale pewnie zależy to też od obłożenia, a w moim przypadku hotel był praktycznie pełny.
