Really beautiful location, really friendly staff and great facilities! Only downside was the restaurant, it was not clear to us that one must choose a menu, we thought it was one restaurant. We then sat outside and never got served for about 25 minutes so we went inside and were then eventually served. Overall a nice night away but slight confusion with the evening meal!

Quick inn and our stay!

This Cromwell hotel is amazingly situated right on the Lillebaelt - just between the old and the new Lillebaelt’s bridges! We unfortunately did not have sea view but was situated with views to the wood!. Just in dusk a whole family of deer was grassing right outside our vindows! Beautiful sight. The hotel was reasonly refurbished! very nicely done ! The staff was really friendly helpful and efficient! Breakfast extremely delicious and served in the nicest way in small portions in separate glad containers! Really a delicious way of doing it!

Only one little hiccup was: not enough “doggie rooms “ after the renovation!

Great hotel, really amazing surroundings and good service. I really recommend staying there. Good value for money, it is the small things that they do that make the difference. Free coffee, free still water, great breakfast buffet and nice restaurant.
The pool area could be a little bigger. 3 is a crowd in the sauna and the hot tub only fits 2-3 unless you really want to sit on someone's lap. But they still have this open and available to all guests so I recommend.

Great hotel in beautiful location

Everything here was excellent - the room was very clean and nice, the bed comfortable and the balcony had an excellent view of the sea. The weather was very hot so the very good air conditioning was welcome. The breakfast buffet included everyting and was great. We also ate one dinner there which was also very good. Ample free freedom parking is available.

Nicely run hotel with very friendly staff. A good healthy breakfast buffet with lots of fresh fruit juice and fruit spreads. The hotel room sadly did not have a fridge or any facilities for keeping drinks or anything cold. Great TV though.

Nice getaway hotel

This hotel is surrounded by a forest and a sea but only 10 minute pleasant walk from a nice little town. There is a small marina right in the front and you can go hiking into a very nice forest with deers in it. I stayed in a junior suit overlooking the forest side. The room was good size but a bit getting old.. no refrigerator in the room. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful except one and she is the reason for less than perfect score.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice and quiet overlooking the two bridges and the sea. The smaller bridge to Fredericia is very close and easy access into this part of Denmark. I had a room with balcony and sea view, very relaxing. Good breakfast. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Great Hotel, NO upgrade possible even it was empty

I stayed in this hotel 5 times. There was NO one in the Hotel (14 people in total) so they had no breakfast buffet but a smaller breakfast. I asked for a room directly to the sea but they gave me a room to the side and wanted to charge me extra the next day. ? Instead of offering me a free upgrade since the rooms are 100% identical and I stayed there so many times and there was NO ONE there...

A gem, beautiful location, almost inexpensive!

Of all our rooms in Europe on this trip this was a gem! absolutely beautiful location on the water. A place to watch the ships or watch the jelly fish float by on the current. Also priced below most places we went. I would highly recommend spending time here. The local shopping street is interesting surrounded by neat little houses.

Dejlig beliggenhed ved lillebælt, og tæt på Middelfarts bymidte. Fantastisk lækker morgenmad - absolut særklasse. Værelset er knap så positivt. Det er små-ting, men træls at skulle tilbage i reception når man har booket et dobbeltværelse og får et som er klargjort til 1 person. Hotellet er ved at udskifte puder, så du skal ned i receptionen for at hente den du gerne vil have. Dem der ligger på værelset er ekstrem små. Defekt stander-lampe, pære og fatning var fjernet. Burde være i orden. Når man går i brusebad flyder rigtig meget af vandet ud på gulvet. Tankevækkende det ikke var muligt at designe det mere smart.

Hotellet er okay. Men mørkt, og badeværelset trænger til renovering. Vores værelse vendte ind mod en atrium terrasse, som er slidt og kedelig.

Morgenmaden fin. Middag i restauranten- maden god men dyr.
Forret- charcuteri og salt snack kr. 125 pr. Ret.
Der blev serveret en lille skål med små bider snack salami, en skål med flager af hjemmelavet chips, hvor den ene var kyllingeskind, til de to retter fulgte en lille skål aioli og lille bitte skål cremefraiche.

It’s a no from us

Dirty room and uncomfortable bed, overall the room was in need of an upgrade and felt dirty. The spa and the gym also need a renovation and nothing I would recommend visiting. The restaurant and the breakfast was the highlight on our stay, the food was good!

The hotel's location is beautiful. The restaurant menu is quite limited, and the menu is the same for two weeks, with two main courses, which is a shame. But there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel claims to be very concerned with sustainability, so you have to check in every day for clean (and especially dry) towels by App, since there's nowhere to hang your towel to dry. If this were possible, that would be fine, but now... it's a shame. It concerns 5 stars so you can expect something, nice hotel, finishing could be better, but really enjoyed the location and surrounding nature. Beds aren't the best either, but rooms are nice and quiet. Had a nice holiday but plenty of room for improvement, greetings from the holiday man.

Dejlig og rolig beliggenhed direkte til lille lystbådehavn samt skov. Ca 20 min. gang langs vandet/skoven til Middelfart. Dejligt udeområd. Tænker ikke det er til de små børnefamilier. Dejlige opholdsstuer indenfor.

noget mærkeligt kalvekød, det samme gentager sig lørdag aften, hvorfor har man ikke 2 hovedretter ? prisniveauet manglede ikke noget. fakkelgården er noget billigere og lidt

Ovenud tilfreds.
Jeg giver ikke top karakter, da jeg ikke spiste i restauranten og har nogle få ting ang. rengøring på væresle. Køleskabslisten var beskidt, lampen i stuen var med døde insekter indvendigt og stolene på altan lidt velbesøgt af fugle :-)

Lækkert sted, pæn restaurant, super hyggelig pejsestue, Spa/pool og barområde

Skal helt sikkert tilbage igen.

Sol over Lillebælt og lækker mad

Altid dejligt på Kongebrogaarden. Vi var heldig med solrigt vejr over Lillebælt. Til aften valgte vi den store meny. Det var meget velsmagende og nuveauet var meget højt. Vi kommer sikkert meget snart tilbage.

Dejlig atmosfære

Man føler sig set. Personalet viser en oprigtig interesse for en. Der hilses, ønskes godmorgen m.m.
I køkkenet var der en hyggelig og rar tone mellem kokkene, selvom de havde travlt.
Det er sjældent, vi har oplevet et ophold så fint på alle områder, og nu havde jeg næsten glemt
Aftensmad og morgenmad var lækkert.

Fint hotel der dog ikke fremstår 100% opdateret. Jeg valgte hotellet pga beliggenhed og motionsrum. Sidstnævnte var yderst sparsomt og der var f.eks ikke løbebånd. Pool, sauna og motionsrum lyder bedre end det er. Sødt personale og flotte omgivelser
