I came after the midnight but hotel was closed eventhough it was written on hotels.com that check in anytime. There was info tk call and i try, i speng 30 min untill somine pick up the phone. Hotel was full of cars. They answer for parking request after checkout, disaster. I try to find contact on Google, auto messege and then call was end..

The hotel is very quaint and feels very typical of the area, although the rooms are basic when compared to the big chain hotels, they serve the purpose, the beds are comfortable and the water is hot. The food in the restaurant was of a fantastic quality and the portions were somewhat enormous, but it was nice to eat traditional foods, not the same as anywhere in the world. my only cause for dropping the star was the strange waste bag alongside the toilet which was not empty when I arrived and contained possibly something very unpleasant. which during my stay even after requesting something be done with said bag, nothing was, rooms were not dressed during the stay, and towels not refreshed at all. the hotels.com status was not rewarded in the hotel, considering I did book two rooms, for myself and a colleague. I would stay there again if I have another visit to the area.

I arrive late and receive messages to get instruction on the key (nobody at the lobby after 10pm) which was good, but in Danish... happy to have google translate :). The room and hotel is cute and clean. the breakfast was very good. I will go back for any business stay close to Kolding.

Hotel was fine. All except the unexpected pet charge at checkout. Almost half of the daily charge for a 3 mo old puppy. I selected a pet friendly hotel and could not find any disclosure that I would incur a pet fee. I argued with the receptionist but was rudely told that’s in their policy.

We felt like family at this very charming and historic hotel. Anders and Louisa are such friendly and helpful managers. We do not speak Danish but their English was more than perfect. Our dining experiences were outstanding and the breakfasts were superb. We were in Denmark for meetings and the hotel’s facilities were excellent for all of us. Thank you for an exceptional stay.

Disappointed coming back
We stayed at the hotel many years back, and nothing has changed since then. The hotel needs a complete renovation and modernisation. The straw roof look disgusting and need to be changed. The paint is cracking on doors and windows. The bathrooms are not up the expectations. Hot water keep des appearing. The hairdryer is some 40 years old, when we spent our honeymoon there. The hotel does certainly not live up to 4 stars. One does not kryb i ly at the hotel.

Kryb i ly kro har desværre misted lidt af fortidens glans, værelser var ok, resturant havde så mange negative anmeldser at vi undgik den. Personalet var super. Vandtrykket i badet var utilstrækkeligt og køleskabet fungerede bedst som varmeskab.

Virkelig serviceminded personale. God velkomst af receptionisten, sms-service inden ankomst, rigtig god mad i restauranten og fantastisk tjener.
Værelset var noget l_rt. Fugtskade på badeværelset, flækkede paneler og en seng, der helt sikkert havde set bedre dage - vi lukkede næsten ikke et øje hele natten. Den gode service kan desværre ikke opveje den kedelige oplevelse vi havde med værelset. Vi besøger gerne Kryb i Ly igen, men først når værelserne har fået en grundig opdatering!

Trænger til renovering, lugter meget gammelt og fugtigt, gammelt sanitet, kan ikke bruge nostalgi som undskyldning, pejsestue lugter af gl. cig. røg. Der er askebægre på toilet ! men koster 2000 kr at bruge dem 😀 meget store fugt/lugtproblemer efter vandskade, flinkt personale kan desværre ikke opveje manglende renovering. Over the Hill, hvis ikke det bliver istandsat.

Betalade över 2000kr för ett riktigt nedgånget hotell. Receptionen var stängd när vi kom och rummet var fullt med spindlar. Ofräscht intryck av rummet, kändes inte rent. Gammal sliten heltäckningsmatta på golvet och oidentifierbara fläckar på väggarna runt om i rummet. Ingen var intresserad av att höra ens vistelse varit. Frukost ok men vi var redan avskräckta efter hotellrummets skick.

Ett hotell som ser väldigt mysigt ut, men stora delar av lokalerna luktar unket och mögel. Det var mögel i duschen på rummet och på duschslangen. Inget tryck i vattnet i kranen eller duschen samt en väldigt urplockad frukost trots att vi kom långt innan frukosten stängde

Vi brugte kroen til en enkel overnatning og det var en god oplevelse. Lækkert med pool der har åbent til kl.22, dog et meget lille omklædningsrum.

Hele hotellet lukter, og var forferdelig varmt om natten. er gammelt bakterie fulle tepper på gulvene. Frokost buffet var nesten tom en en veldig uprofesjonell, rasist dame som hadde ansvar til buffet.

Jätte bra pool med generösa öppettider. Allt annat stänger tidigt baren 22.00 och det finns inget annat så långt ögat når. Hotellet är slitet och inte jätte rent. Synd för det hade kunnat vara en helt underbar pärla.

Måltidet i restauranten var en skuffelse af en sådan kaliber, at jeg simpelthen måtte lade det stå. Den serverede fladfisk var stegt i så meget fedtstof, at den fremstod slimet og uspiselig. Persillesovsen – hvis man overhovedet kan kalde det det – bestod af en tynd, mælkelignende væske med persille drysset ovenpå, helt uden smag og uden den mindste balance. Kartoflerne var kedelige og tilsyneladende overkogte, og tilbehøret – herunder gulerødder og pastinak – føltes fejlplaceret og ude af kontekst for en klassisk fiskeret.
Den samlede servering virkede rodet, ufærdig og slet ikke gennemtænkt. Det får mig ærligt talt til at stille spørgsmålstegn ved, om der står faglært personale i køkkenet.
