Nice area and they clean our room everyday. The sink in our bathroom was clogged, problem was reported to Arlene the staff but did not do anything not until I texted Luigi and the sink was fixed. Staff are nice like Paulo and Kim. Breakfast is very basic, coffee was cold when delivered to our room. I love the location and don’t mind coming back.

The room is very convenient. It is literally just by St. Peter’s square and down the structure, there is a steak house that is very affordable and fire! Jollibee is just right there too and other stores that you might need. Not to mention that the metro train and taxi stand is also there. No need to walk too far.

**Title:** Worst Stay Ever – Avoid This Place at All Costs

This was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. You can’t even call this a hotel—it’s more like a scam. They’ve divided one apartment into several rooms and rent them out individually.

Let me explain. The first room we checked into had an air conditioner that was so noisy, even when turned off, that we couldn’t stay in it. We asked them to fix it, so they moved us to another room. The second room was dirty and old. We asked them to fix the air conditioner and let us return to the original room, despite the noise being unbearable—happening every 10 minutes whether it was on or off.

They promised to fix it while we were out, but when we returned, they had taken all of our untouched breakfast. They claimed they fixed the issue, but it was exactly the same, and no one was available to respond to our messages.

It was such a terrible experience; we couldn’t sleep at all during our stay and were exhausted. Finding another hotel was difficult because there was no one at reception to even discuss a refund. This place is a complete scam. Please don’t stay here—you’ll regret it.

Kind of scary at first coz can’t find a reception area but after I called their telephone number someone met us and the rest of our stay was excellent. Close to restaurant and shopping area. Walking distance to lots of nice places. Friendly staff and helpful, clean rooms. I can recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

The property was in a great location. I was supposed to receive the code for the door for my arrival which I never did. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were hard as a rock. The property offered breakfast which was ordered the night before. The food was not good at all. Despite those two problems we did enjoy our stay.

We loved our stay!

We loved our stay! Great location-only few minutes walking to Vatican. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Breakfast was delish. The main roads can be noisy at night, but we used our sleep app so it wasn’t an issue for us.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

We stayed in this accommodation for 4 days and we had a comfortable stay. The location is also good and has plenty of amenities nearby. It is also close by tourist spots such as Vatican museum and St Peters Square. The staff were accommodating and helpful particularly Danica who assisted us and was very helpful throughout the stay. The system to access the room and building was pretty cool no need to have keys and the instructions were clear. We would suggest for breakfast that there should be more options on the menu selection such as cold cuts, eggs etc. as the breakfast options were particularly limited. Despite this we had a good stay in the accommodation.

La Cupola del Vaticano was a great hotel we stayed at. We arrived late at night, check in was still easy. Easy commute to all of Rome's famous sites such as The Pantheon, Fontana Di Trevi, Trajan, Spanish Steps are all within walking distance, and the Vatican is just right across the street, the metro is a couple of blocks away. Colosseum is about a 15 minute drive. Breakfast was delivered on time. Loved the location and service at this hotel.

We just left Rome on 8/21. La Cupola Del Vaticano is in a great location, we had a big room with comfy beds, and it was clean, the air conditioning was great, the elevator was small but without it, it could have been difficult to carry out our luggage to our room. Famous sites such as The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Fontana Di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo are within walking distance, and the Vatican is just right across the street, the metro is a couple of blocks away. A lot of restaurants around, and right across the street there is a grocery store.
The waitress \"Bing\" she goes by Bingo was very kind and very friendly, gave us advice regarding sightseeing, she brought breakfast up to our room every morning. Silvia, the Cupola'owner was great, the best way to reach her is through WhatsApp. She arranged for a taxi for us before we arrived in Rome and when we left.

The Good- Location! Location! Location! 5 minute walk to the Vatican City and the Metro Station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby including a 24 hr restaurant right across from the hotel. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your room and the assigned host was friendly and did a good job cleaning our room.

The Bad- the room we had needed lots of TLC. The walls were dirty and could use a fresh coat of paint, The furnitures are cheap quality.

The Ugly - The bathroom sink leaked the whole 6 nights we were there. Visible mold and peeling paints were very concerning and the unwashed/ dirty bed cove had stains and hairs on it It was disgusting!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay due to convenience and the nice, hardworking staff made up for it However we would've loved it if the room was in better condition.

We arrived very early in the morning Rome time and we were met by a very kind,sweet concierge. She was extremely helpful with directions and recommendations. Most importantly, our room was cleaned every day and breakfast was delivered on time. The breakfast selections were plentiful and delicious.

The room was cute and functional but not upper end. I have no complaints with the bedroom area, but the bathroom had some mold growth above the shower which clearly had been given some time to expand. I feel this is an exceptional deal and the location is perfect.

Driving transfers to and from the airport were provided by the hotel owner for a reasonable fee and their drivers were extremely courteous and punctual.

This B&B is big and spacious with a small shower. The room was equipped with beverages for a price but it's in the heart of Rome. It's 5 minutes away from the Vatican Museum and all other areas. It can use a few upgrades such as painting. My FAVORITE PART ABOUT MY STAY WAS YOU SELECT YOUR BREAKFAST AND TIME AND IT WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOU. That was fantastic for us because we liked to sleep in.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff is courteous and it’s clean. Luigi is very responsive and even met us personally upon arrival. I reported a minor concern with the bathroom sink and within an hour Luigi was in the room addressing the concern. As a single mom traveling with 3 teens, I loved how safe and comfortable we all were. The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the Vatican with lots of restaurants around to choose from.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the local resources. Ema who checked me in was very quick and sharp. She would tell me helpful tips when I told her where I planned to go for the day. Breakfast was wonderful and plenty. The staff brought breakfast to the room. There was variety in the croissants which I appreciated. The room was clean and was big like the rooms you find in California hotels. The location is great, close to the Metro and the Vatican. The best part about my stay here was the wonderful staff. I am from California so I'm comparing this hotel to California and I will say this place is the best! They have an attentive and smart staff. They facilities are fine like those found in California. Stay here for your trip. I would certainly recommend this for all travelers. I traveled with my 67 year old mother and she really loved it.

An unforgettable stay! I was there at the end of November with my family. Ema and Dany were super attentive and friendly. Always ready to help if we needed something. Great Hotel, staff, and location

Everything started at the airport where our driver (selected by Ema) was already waiting for us at the exit. As soon as we arrived at La Cupola, we were greeted by Ema who was amazing! She then gave us all the information we needed to be able to find everything in the Vatican including all the landmarks and the best restaurants near by. Our room had a beautiful view of the Vatican! As we were celebrating my wife's birthday and we were going to leave the hotel early in the morning the following day, Ema made sure that we were fed and left us a basket full of food in the room for us to take as we were going to miss Ema's breakfast in pajamas (yes, breakfast in pajamas). The day of my wife's birthday, Ema and Dany? (I believe that was his name I am very bad with names) greeted my wife with a sincere happy birthday as we were going to leave the hotel to celebrate her bday with Papal mass. At the end of the day, We were surprised to find a bottle of wine in the room with a personalized note for my wife. The following day we had the opportunity to try Ema's breakfast in pajamas which was an amazing way to start the day.
Honestly, this was one of the best stays I have ever experienced and I has just left a Luxury hotel in Paris and the service was no different than the one we received at La Cupola. In addition, as being part of the largest hotel company, I can truly say that La Cupola raises the hospitality standards to the highest levels. Thank you Ema!

This is a lovely hotel close to the Vatican. There's old-fashioned cage-type elevator which is quite fun and interesting.

Great location, staff was friendly and helpful. Would like to have know it was the 4th floor of a bulding and not a hotel on its own. Probably my mistake. The elevator works but only 1 person at a time, it is very small and old, if you have luggage. Very nice continental breakfast served in your room. In room safe and a small refrigerator with water, beer and other beverages, very nice.
Was centrally located for where we wanted to visit. Lots of little shops and restaurants to choose from.

We were welcomed very warmly by Ema and Danny who couldn't have been more helpful with information and directions on where and where not to go. The fabulous Lorodana took over where they left off and was there daily to help and guide us through a city she is still learning about herself. A wonderful lady, and a great asset to the hotel. All in all a brilliant city break.

Really enjoyed our stay at La Cupola del Vaticano! The location is next to the Vatican and the fact that it has an elevator is super bonus! Last time we stayed at a small bed & breakfast in Rome we had to drugg our suitcases up the stairs to the 3rd floor( was not much fun)!
The owner are extremely friendly and helpful, place is nice, clean and very spacious. Breakfast is served in your room: warm breads, coffee, fruits, juice and yogurt. I would recommend La Cupola del Vaticano for anyone who is looking to stay in Rome close to Vatican and experience a true hospitality.

Highly recommended.

Hotel is a 3 minute walk to Vatican City in one direction and 3 minute to a train station in the opposite direction. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Gave great tips on where to eat and what to visit. On 2 of the 3 mornings of our stay, we had early itinerary and had planned to leave before breakfast, which is apparently from 830-1030. They were very thoughtful and rolled in breakfast on a cart the night before, so we always had something to eat before we leave. Also, they had some fruits in the common area, which is great for snacking. Room and bathroom were very spacious. Shower is standard size, which apparently is huge in Italy (I've stayed in a couple of places where I couldn't do a 360 without touching something.) Windows on my room opened to a main street, which is nice for people watching. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again next time I'm in Rome.

This little hotel is in a perfect location - just a few blocks from St. Peter's and a Metro station. Both desk clerks were very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. We (two sisters) felt very safe. They even booked an excellent driver for our early morning airport run.

We were pleaasantly surprised to find this cute little hotel across the street from the Vatican. The name had changed since we booked through Hotel.com making it a little tough to find at first, but the taxi driver helped us locate the address. It is up a small elevator in the lobby and not marked very well, but we were greeted kindly by the clerk upon arrival. Even though we were early the clerk made us feel welcome - allowed us to eat the continental breakfast, gave us a map of Rome and explained how to get to places, and even called a shuttle service to take us to the airport very early the next morning. For the money - a definite place to stay when you need a home base to visit Rome!!

We enjoyed our 6 night stay here!

Very conveniently located, 200m from Vatican and a nice evening stroll from the centre. Perfectly located near the Ottaviano metro station and also has a taxi stop around the corner.

The staff in this hotel are exceptional. They do all they can to ensure you have a great stay.

We thought from Expedia that breakfast would just be a coffee and croissant across the road, but this wasn't the case. There is a breakfast room in the hotel and you get a breakfast each day, which includes coffee/tea, croissant, cereal, bread rolls, cheese, jams, cold meats and cheese slices. Some more selection would be good, but as we were only expecting a croissant and coffee across the road we have no complaints.

It's a 7 - 9 euro taxi ride into town. The taxi stand is just around the corner.
It is also walkable (15-20minutes).

The hotel has recently been refurbished and is very nice and clean. Clean towels and room tidy every day. Bathroom has shower gel, soap, body lotion, a hair dryer.

Climate control in the room worked well and kept us cool during our stay.

Very good, fast wifi internet connection was much appreciated, especially as there seemed to be no tv channels in English.

P.S
38 euro taxi ride service provided by the hotel is a good price if you are 2 or more people as it's 14 euros each for the train from the airport to the main station and then another euro each to get the metro to the hotel. It also takes a lot longer by train and metro.

This hotel is more akin to a bed and breakfast. It takes up one floor of an apartment building. The location is just a few blocks from the Vatican Museum which is excellent. It is a little away from the Ancient Rome area, but have no fear, there is a taxi stand right on the corner so just a very short walk and you can grab a taxi to be anywhere in the city. If you don't want to take a taxi, there is a Metro stop just 3 blocks away. Very convenient for getting around Rome. The building is in a busy area, with lots of tourist restaurants, but we found that they were NOT over priced and the food was quite good. Although the area was busy, the noise was not a problem. The room was a good size with an updated bathroom. The bed was not the most comfortable, but I have slept on worse. The staff was excellent. Valero stay late for us and every morning we left before breakfast officially began, but he made sure we had coffee before leaving.

Location is perfect, i can see the vatican from the window, very close. Finding the hotel is not easy and hotel owner is not comminicative. There were 2 telephone numbers but both were not responding, one was the number of pizzeria🤔. Breakfast is very nice and served to room directly on time. Rooms are small but very nice and clean. Car parking is very difficult even under payment.

Positive: 1)5 mins walk to the vatican 2) easy access to transportation. 3) neat and clean room negative: 1) if you are looking for an english or american breakfast this hotel is not for you. In my part the breakfast is too sweet. More on sugar. 2) a little bit noise outside but it should be ok if you only stay few days.
