We were checked in in next to no time. We had a room that was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, well provided with soaps and towels.

Breakfast was a buffet style continental affair. I was not keen on the scrambled eggs which were lukewarm but I had two perfect eggs fried for me on request.

The offer of a free drink in the bar for not having your room serviced daily was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our local beer!

A relaxing and comfortable stay in Poznan.

The hotel is ideally placed for the airport, main train station and city centre. The hotel was well decorated. The allocated room was a good size, clean and comfortable. There was a tea/ coffee machine but no complementary water. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast in the morning. Both were very good. The breakfast selection was very good with hot and cold options available. All the staff I encountered were friendly, courteous and helpful. Thank you.

The problem was Prior to booking, We went to the hotell to Ask questions about the option of rooms, as We have small children with us, one very rude receptionist Told us that they were fully booked already, which was weird because i just checked the availability and was seconds away with booking. She was not interested in helping a family who just arrived from a days travel. I then proceeded with my booking outside of the hotel , and surely enough we managed to book 2 rooms👍When another staff was asked Why this happened, she could not answer and looked amazed herself, showing zero respect between coworkers. Superior room was missing towels, tv remote defekt, when i went to reception to Ask about towels, they simply packed towels and one extra bedsheet in a plastic bag, and since i was not on the way out, i had to bring it up myself, which for my sake isnt a problem, its just that i do actually Expect a little more service in a 4 star hotell!

The hotel sells a breakfast to guests for $39 Polish and the bread is ok, but the price is high compared to what you could get if you ate elsewhere. Also they advertise that they take you to the train, but they actually have an agreement with a taxi company and they say it is a price savings, but it is more than a non- hotel taxi you call. Staff not all that friendly. Location is right under the takeoff area for the airport. Planes can be loud. Bed was great!! Room was nice. It had a bathtub.

We have stayed in this hotel for the second time. Staff is very nice and friendly and hotel is quite clean. Location is also OK.
However the price is rather high. You could find in Poznan equaly clean and nice hotels at nearly half the price per room and with breakfast included.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were excellent- very helpful to us with no Polish language! Room was great. We enjoyed meals in the restaurant,, particularly the soups. Breakfast was also very good. Strongly recommend.

We had emailed ahead to inform hotel staff of our late (after midnight) arrival. We had booked a standard room for a business trip. When we arrived after a full day of travel, we were thrilled to be told the front desk had upgraded is to a luxury room--such a great way to relax after a long day!

Considering how often one encounters recception staff who consider customers to be an inconvenience rather than their raison d'etre, it is so refreshing to find a hotel with a superb customer focus, and trains staff to be not only welcoming, but proatively ready to help. Room and spa were very good; the slightly inconvenient location was a small price to pay for the quality service

Central spot, modern. Given spacious exec suite, remarkably low rate (which probably wouldn't be on offer during a trade fair). 15 mins walk to railway station, 30 mins to Poznan old city, which is well worth a day's exploring.

In April 2016, the roads outside are dug up, snarling traffic access to hotel, railway station, and indeed the whole west side of town. No problems on foot and the taxi drivers know the diversions. Airport bus temporary stop 200 yards, opposite Sheraton.

Also building work in the hotel restaurant, this wasn't disruptive.

I was originally assigned a room, which made an overall impression of being undercleaned, underkept and furnished with very old, low-segment type of furniture. The trip to the bathroom revealed mold in the shower, not just mold, but growing mold. A visit at the front desk (the hotel is being remodelled and the reception looks more like a stand) brought a three-stage struggle to contact the manager. However, I must admit, the manager, who said he was new, was extremely professional, helpful and efficient, also kind enough to reassign me to a nice(r) room. The hotel has one asset: location. But it has no charm and does not offer this \"special touch\" feeling. If you're there and want anonymity, you are in the right place. If you're there and spend all day out, to come back just for a night sleep, you are in the right place. The breakfest at 69 PLN (almost 18$) is outrageously expensive (money to value), and so is the restaurant.

Reasonable hotel. Easy to get to station by foot or a short tram journey and Poznan city centre on a tram from almost outside the hotel. Breakfast ok, but not outstanding. Very hot outside, almost 40 degrees, but bedroom air-conditioning worked well, so we had a comfortable sleep. Bedrooms a good size.

Good Hotel - poor service

The hotel was as expected and of a good standard, a bit away from the centre but a nice stroll before and after dinner. The roadworks make it complicated to drive to but not impossible. We arrived just after a large party that were having difficulty with their credit cards to check in and as there was only one person on the desk we waited over an hour before getting a room key. When asked for help the security manager claimed not to work for the hotel or understand english. Room was of a very good standard and clean however the air conditioning was set at 27 degrees and not adjustable in the room on an evening when the outside temperature was in the 30s. It took three requests to get the problem resolved. I'm sure normally the service reflects the good standard of the hotel and we were just unfortunate.

Hotel within easy walking distance from the train station and the central area of the city.Hotel condition overall was very good and in my opinion good value for money.Check in was seamless. My only criticism is that on one of the days of my stay no towels were left in the bathroom and I had to inform reception 3 times before receiving them.

I've stayed here more than once. It's a nice hotel with nice rooms and large lobby ideal for meetings or drinks. Only a 10-minute walk to the old town center. Immediate area is nothing special but everything is very close.
Quick access to road that takes one straight to the airport.
I will stay here again next time I visit Poznan.

Well situated well kept hotel. The restaurant was open only to those attending a conference so the only place for dinner was a bar with very limited menu and very poor service! Not to be recommended! The works outside are dragging on and it will be another year before the road in front of the hotel is finished. Generally the hotel is well kept if rather laking in atmosphere.

Avoid the Breakfast Buffet Trap!

This is a four star hotel, modern, clean, efficient, friendly staff (with one exception, a rather surly, almost hostile waiter in the restaurant/bar). Considering the cost was less than $100, at first we thought we'd found an exceptional value. We had a wonderful dinner with wine for less than $40. The next morning we attended the breakfast buffet. It was a very complete American-style buffet, but we did not expect it would cost the two of us a total of about $50, the most expensive breakfast of our lives. This is simply due to our unfamiliarity with the currency. But the price of 70 zloties each could have been posted in the elevator as an additional warning or on the door to the breakfast room, maybe also converted to dollars or euros. They charged about $10 for a cup of instant coffee, far more than they charged in the restaurant/bar the night before, ditto for a glass of milk. This ruined our trust with the management. We were reluctant to try the mini-bar or anything else. Who knows what hidden and grossly disproportionate and unfair charges are lurking elsewhere? Food is quite cheap in Poland, and so we went to the grocery store and made our own breakfast in the room on the second day there.
The parking with 24 hour security also cost about $20 per night, pretty steep, though you do need something in Poland to prevent auto theft and vandalism.

I was in Poznan for a trade fair, and therefore the Mercure was very conveniently located for that purpose - 10min walk. It is also 10min walk from the Poznan station, where you get all your daily necessities, from coffee, bread, supermarket, to some basic shopping.

This hotel lives up to what it sells. It is simple, clean, with the standard amenities you would expect. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Poznan train station. The only snag is that there is a lot of construction going on, so it makes walking there slightly difficult. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet. We didn't hear any noise from our neighbours.

Can't complain at all about this hotel for the price I paid for one night. Room was a good size as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and the 'welcome water' was a nice touch too. Location was good for me as it was only a short walk (less than 10 mins) from Poznan central station and not really too far to the old town. Would stay here again if ever back in Poznan.

Close to all must-see sights

This hotel was very conveniently located to all of the places of interest in Poznan (of which there are many), within a walking distance. Service is very good and rooms are clean, as is always with Mercure hotels. Restaurant prices are very reasonable, mostly due to the favorable exchange rate from the $ US. They have their own parking lot/garage which is supervised. All in all - great deal!

I had stayed close by during euro 2012 and I knew the area. The hotel is a very good 4 star. I couldn't complain about anything. The price was great too. The only that I could comment on is the road works going on opposite the hotel on the new rail lines but the hotel cannot do much about that. We heard no noise at all from the works and we stayed in a room that looked out towards the works. I'd definitely stay here again.
