The plastic wrapper was still on the bed mattress. The toilet seat was not bolted to the toilet. Service was good though! But you can’t advertise rooms as “luxury” with issues such as the above….

The hotel was being refurbished. The facilities listed were not available. The premises were noisy with lots of hammering and drilling. The place was smelly. At times hotel staff late during the night were disturbingly loud in talking. I felt cheated and won’t be returning.

Spare yourself the stress and waste of money -- if you are going to book in this cost bracket, find somewhere more reputable. If you're a visitor, pay the extra few dollars for a nicer place with better service. I certainly wish I had read the reviews and found the ones with disgusting reviews sooner. It's unfortunate that Expedia won't let me add photos of the dilapidated building with dirty bed, bathrooms, hair oil and other wet sticky substances on the wall, and gutted lobby.

Good Hotel in hip area!

I stayed at Hotel Enclave for a week. All the service people were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with decent Indian Food. Had a comfy, clean room that was surprisingly mostly quiet being in the front The Khar station area is hip with several Bar/Restaurants all within easy walking distance. A Fun area.

This was our second stay at Regal Enclave. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed was really excellent.The staff is also very nice, eager to please. The free breakfast every day was excellent. They have a variety of dishes daily and an omelet station too. They also offer pickup and drop off to the airport; previously it was free but now they charge for the pickup.
The only cons to this hotel is it needs to be updated. The bathrooms especially you can notice the age of the property. The sinks leaked and was cracked. Also more electrical outlets in the room would be good. Another thing is the location although convenient is not the best as its close to Khar station which is dirty, but well you get used to it! Some nights were noisy as there were bands outside playing music loudly.(not the fault of the hotel). Its better to get a room on the higher floors.All in all we had a very pleasant stay! Would recommend.

Hotel staff promptly picked me up as promised after I landed at Chatrapathi airport at 2am.
None of the electric outlets worked and was coming apart.
There was bunch of kids who stayed next dorr to me on the 6th floor--made huge noise and were banging on the wall playing at 2 in the morning. Hotel took action when I compalined tho...But still :(

The front desk lady was very rude & in the hospitality business the front desk staff is key, she made me feel unwanted guest. I did not end up staying here although I booked this location. I was brought to the Executive Enclave instead. Food was good and room was clean although the walls were very thin I lucked out with a corner room so I had less challenges than if I'd been in the center of the hallway. However when there were repairs or loud guests at night I heard everything.
I would stay here again in a pinch but I think I got a smaller room than what I was booked for

My stay was very comfortable at the royal enclave. It was our first time in Mumbai and we had a complimentary ride pickup from the airport. Ramkumar, was holding up our sign and we were driven in a big comfortable car by him.
Upon arrival to the hotel we were served with fresh cold drinks and offered chai as well( all complimentary)
Our room was cleaned everyday.
Manages; Nimesh and Sachin attended to all our questions and made our stay very comfortable. Not to forget Raju who was great at what he does at the restaurant. Breakfast had lots of choices;We were made hot to order English breakfasts as well as Indian choices if we preferred. We had a mix of both which was very tasty.

The checkin was very easy and friendly. I sent a message that I would be arriving late just to make sure the room would not be filled and they showed up to pick me up ... it was unexpected but very nice. We stayed for 15 days since I had to have an eye operation at a hospital nearby. The staff were very accomodating and did their best to cater to our needs. On the 2nd day we were upgraded to a bigger more comfortable room! Overall the hotel is very clean, food was great, and service was excellent! Hope to be back again next year!!

Previously stayed at 5 Star hotels in BKC but found the service here much better and friendlier. Rooms are good size and the gym and swimming pool a 5 minute walk down the road but really enjoyed mixing with local people using the facilities. If you want something more personal and informal than the 5 star offerings I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Much more to do in the area than BKC too.

Hotel Regal Enclave was the perfect Mumbai’s suburban location for wedding shopping! All areas of The suburbs are a less than 15-20 mins away and walking distance to great restaurants. Daily breakfast included way always a highlight of mine and my family’s trip! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

My only critique of my experience at Hotel Regal Enclave is that I do think it is always wise to enforce a No Smoking Rule in hotel sleeping rooms.

Overall good trip! Thanks for the hospitality!

Any floor but the first would be best. Rooms 101 and 102 can here all the clatter from the kitchen - tried closing the hallway door to no avail (Tip: run the air conditioning all night to drown out the noise). Room was clean and comfortable (view not existent). Not far from Khar Road Station and Mumbai University. Shower was clean - on the small side, but fine. Breakfast buffet was included; breakfast cereals, indian dishes, fruit salad - from the three breakfast that I ate there was some variation is the dishes. The kitchen does a good job.

Wifi worked, was free and of good quality.

The transfer to international airport at 6am was outstanding. Very efficient.

Staff are fine as well - not rude or unpleasant.

If needing to fly from Mumbai again and need accommodation, this hotel will do fine (floor 2 or above).

The staff was amazing...just wonderful. I need translation many times..they were so sweet and kind and helpful. They couldn't so enough for us. I highly recommend this hotel. It was clean comfortable and typical.old worldy Indian style. We had a huge room with street views and bay windows. They even gave us 2 free rides in their hotel car as a bonus!! Very very happy with them. Food was wonderful and very reasonably priced! The area is fine...very local with food markets and lots of life. Very central to Hill Road for shopping(rickshaw ride away) and central to what we needed- a visa office.

In the heart of town

We arrived at this very gleaming hotel with the staff all looking smartly dressed and nice smile. Once inside reception we had the paperwork filled in swiftly and processed. We were led up to our rooms in the most smallest lift I have ever seen. It can only have 3 people in it. The room was near the back of the building and it has a window in the view of the railway station hidden by some trees it's nice and big but just be reminded of the location as it next door to the khar market which although very nice it's night life can be lively and with music playing but to be fair it was all gone by 12am. But the furniture is a bit dated but all funtionable although the rooms are compact it good maybe one person but 2 people may be a bit of shifting. The bathroom was good and roomy it was clean. The bed was nice and hard and the a/c work great with ice cool temperatures. The is a big fridge for all your nik nacks, with nice selection of snacks which has to be paid for. I like the room has lots of plugs around for anyone how has the devices. There is a breakfast room situated downstairs next to the reception with a very good selection of the food to choose from with the service from the staff was exceptional. There is also a courtesy bus to/from the airport which can be booked in advanced. This hotel is great for the service it offers it is and should be proud. I would have no hesitation of comming back here if my travel has to return to India.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, our stay was quite comfortable.

Hotel provided airport pickup; driver was already waiting in airport by the time we arrived.

Rooms are bit worn out but were clean and spacious. Hotel breakfast was delicious and had ample choice in Indian cuisine.

Hotel staff is very polite and helpful. We had requested late checkout; reception staff and manager agreed without any fuss and did everything in their capacity to make our checkout experience pleasant.

I would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai

Fantastic staff, reception staff very passionate to help guests. On our final day we met the owner who was very friendly and keen to hear our experience. They really went above and beyond for us. As we had a late flight they gave us a spare room to use the shower facilities in the evening as well as coffee and water.

Perfect budget hotel near to US consulate

Affordable hotel for mid-town Mumbai

We were looking for an affordable mid-range hotel as we were here for business (north of the Hotel) and a bit of tourism as it was our first time in Mumbai. It is around the corner from Khar railway station which became our landmark when we took taxis and tuk tuks. It's not far from Bandra and Juhu which was great for a look around and near the airport. Other reviews have said the hotel is a bit dated, but we thought that the wood panelling and floors reflected the period of when it was built and refreshingly historic by being well kept and clean. Staff were great and we enjoyed our stay for 5 days.

great mid-price hotel w/ lots of value on a budget

overall a great hotel and on a budget with lots of value. free airport pick up and drop off, wifi and breakfast included! neighborhood is convenient with quick trips to other areas in mumbai, and room service is quick and efficient. my only gripe was the lack of any prompt action taken to tackle mosquitoes in the lobby area, which got annoying sometimes.

Kebabs and Paneeer Tikka at 3 AM!! Awesome

I have stayed at this hotel around six or seven times. The main reason that I stay at the hotel is the convenience of having a complimentary airport pickup and drop off. This is highly useful for first time visitors to India and people who prefer not to deal with taxi drivers. The buffet breakfast is modest but has everything you need: eggs, cereals, breads, coffee, and a variety of staple Indian dishes. The area around the hotel is bustling and wine shops and pharmacies are within a 5-minute walk. Fresh juice stands are also nearby. All in all, this is a good hotel with a number of conveniences, best of all: 24-hour room service. I was able to order Kebabs at 3:00 AM! This is unheard of India.

We were quite disappointed when we checked in, because we were given a very compact room with unsatisfactory décor. We usually book this hotel despite compromising the location as it isn't in a very clean area . However this is the second time this hotel has disappointed us as we were given a room in the back and the ad on expedia states that it is a deluxe room . I called up the reception immediately and informed them that we needed a change in room before we unpacked our suitcases. At first we were told that the front rooms were occupied by company guests from india. They eventually gave us a different room as we reminded them that this reservation was made months ahead. The breakfast , internetand pick-up was all provided. Thanks for sending us a survey!

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I especially like the business department where I can get my emails and documents printout and the Manager was always very prompt and attentive. (my apologies, I have misplaced the paper where I wrote his name). The breakfast menu was good and that was the only place that I felt safe to eat.The security was also good.

Airport pick-up very smooth and courteous staff. Hotel staff also very courteous and helpful. Reasonable breakfast. Biggest issue is the noise outside. Not great soundproofing on windows. Just off a very busy street near Khar station, and, at night, you can hear, and see, from some rooms, the trains. Had to wear ear plugs. But near some local style bars and restaurants and lively Mumbai atmosphere on your door-step. Plenty of cows sleeping outside at night-time! Bed very comfortable, very clean - room not very big, but adequate. TV did not work, but not much of a problem for me, as most programmes fairly poor.

Convenient complimentary airport transfers, comfortable king size bed, yummy breakfast, super helpful staff, free wifi for mulitple devices, painless check-in and check-out. Close to the airport (max 20 min even with traffic). No problem having friends over for a drink or sleepover. Best value for money in Bandra. Would be delighted to stay there again. First class attention from the moment we arrived, the Hotel Regal Enclave exceeded our expectations in every way. It was clean, comfortable and gave everything we needed. A definite for our next stop in Mumbai.

Good value hotel with easy access to city.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel. Good breakfast - Indian and European food. Free airport pick up both ways. Easy walk to rail station enables access to rest of Mumbai. Value for money.

Great little hotel

very friendly and helpful staff, clean sheets, comfortable bed, good breakfast with eggs made to order (my only complaint is the lack of real coffee), complimentary transport to and from airport, very close to Khar Road train station. I definitely recommend this hotel. Good proximity to Bandra and airport. Clean and comfortable hotel.

Nice hotel.

Everything was good.friendly staff, clean rooms and good wifi. But for us tourists it was a bit far away from the main part of town and sights.

Good overall experience and value for money.

Stayed 10 nights. Very satisfied with the service. The suite room (seventh floor) was good, however there was a terrace restaurant directly above us and there was loud music till 5 AM only on the weekend. Also it was facing the railway station which was nice for the view and bad at the same time due to the train horns, but not a major problem. Also a building next door was a source of construction noise but that was not the hotel's fault. Room service was good. Wireless internet was good overall. Reception and concierge staff were extremely polite and helpful. Morning breakfast had the best of Indian dishes and an excellent menu variety which changed everyday. The hotel is slightly old and the elevators are small, but for a Mumbai budget hotel, it was OK. Taxi and auto stand 1 minute away and train station 3 minute walk away. Linking and Hill Roads, Juhu and Airports 15 to 20 min away by cab. Thanks to the management and staff from my wife, son and myself.
