Good service and amenities. Bed sheets were slightly sloppy, just a shed put on top of two single mattresses and a blanket with another sheet on top, no duvet or cover.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel as described by Expedia. It’s a 2 star but even 2 star is too much for it
The staff at the desk when we did the check in were very arrogant even not a simple smile. Just thrown the room card in a paper where the room number.
The room was dirty and the smell of humidity completely disgusting. At the corridor in the 3 rd floor was plenty of water.
Finally we decided to leave the hotel and took another one not very far from this one
Please change the description of the hotel
It’s not serious to describe it as 4 star.
Sorry but this hotel is not good for your health

The hotel building is generally OK, and the dining (both for breakfast and dinner) were great. Staff were mostly very helpful and friendly.

Location-wise, it’s a bit out of the way, although quite close to the autostrada. The area around the hotel could do with a bit of work - the car park and maybe cut the grass once in a while as it is pretty overgrown.

Initial impressions of the room was OK, however, the rooms themselves were pretty badly maintained. We stayed there for two nights and had to change rooms due to a leak in the bathroom from the floor above. In both rooms, there were different, random things that either didn’t work properly or just weren’t there. Bathroom fans, lights, the fridge (empty in one room, with bottled water in the other), hairdryer etc were all inconsistent. And in the second room, we were given 1 towel for a family of 4.

The most fun part of the stay, though, was playing the ‘which lift is coming, if any?’ game. This includes a series of random lights and pings from anywhere except your lift…

Overall - not bad, but could be a lot better with some investment in upgrading or improving the facilities

I was informed by the property upon early checkout that they will accept the refund and that I should contact expedia for refund, upon contacting expedia the property rejected to refund the remaining amount (stayed only 1 night out of 5 due to property conditions) worst experience ever and staff is not helpful at all.

Our initial room that we were given was very noisy due the air conditioning, however when notified reception we were given another room without problem. Was disappointed there was no where to get any refreshments as the bar only opens later in the day, and with the lack of any local amenities around the hotel, this is disappointing.
Overall the room and the hotel were nice, but could definitely do with updating. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pictures look GREAT but the inside of the room was terrible - Maybe i was unlucky, but was checked in late, room was dirty, no food, bar was closed :-( Very upset - some would say, if you didn't like it, you should have gone elsewhere - true - but was only there for a night to watch a football game, so where i was staying didn't really matter. However, wouldn't go there with my family. Very noisy, bad neighbours - not family friendly at all. Ive attached pictures of the bathroom

This has to be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in for a very long time. Typical rip off pricing when an exhibition is held at Fiera Milano. Breakfast fruit was out of date and rotting , rooms where not clean Lifts were broken , place is run down . I was booked and paid for three nights but I couldn’t put up with it anymore so checked out and got another hotel for my last night.

Disappointed in this hotel and do not recommend. Perhaps the saying “you get what you pay for” applies however there are details you expect in a hotel. The rooms have almost no amenities. We were lucky to have a towel for showering. Very odd looking room, no night tables. There were no glasses nor simple items like Kleenex tissue. No coffee nor tea available. Tv had no remote and very tiny. Reception was not the friendliest nor was checkout. The outside grounds were not maintained and in need of lawn maintenance. I did not try breakfast and can’t rate this. I would not recommend this location. There are no “do not disturb signs” available and housekeeping early on morning of checkout woke us up when checkout is at 12. It appears to be a business hotel that is trying to save as much overhead/operating costs as possible and it shows. Stay at your own risk.

Unique? That’s one way to describe it, never in my life have I been subject to such inhumane conditions. The place is dingy, dirty and disgusting. We had two nights booked but couldn’t complete the stay, legging the place first thing in the morning. Ironically, on our checkout we seen wave upon wave of cleaning staff, can I ask what they all do ? As I find it hard to believe they are preparing rooms.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!

From start to finish not good! Reception took forever upon arrival!
Room was very basic but we didn’t mind that. What we did mind was not being able to have the window open without the stench of cigarettes and weed coming into our room from the smoking area! We were on the 1st floor!
The air con didn’t work and in fact the control unit on the wall was loose and could easily electrocute someone! Luckily no kids with us so just laughed about it.
Only 1 thin pillow each, so the next morning I asked housekeeping for 2 extra pillows. Never happened and by the time we got back it was too late to get any!
Bathroom was basic but fine.
The last night was spent mostly awake listening to several students (sounded German) running around the corridors, slamming doors, and making a lot of noise until beyond 1am!!!! Totally unacceptable and absolutely no challenge from hotel staff or even the teachers supposed to be supervising them!!

By far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, plugs were hanging out of walls, handrails hanging off, doors don’t lock properly, shuttle bus service that is inconsistent and doesn’t run during the main part of the day. Doors bang all night long, constant noise from exposed wiring and air con in the room, toiletries disappearing during the day, dim and flickering lights, only had 1 room clean in a 4 day visit, no explanation on where anything was, really poor breakfast, hole in the tiling of the shower, uncomfortable beds, 1 thin pillow, windows don’t close, gaps around the frame. The hotel is very deceiving from the photos, looks nothing like advertised, wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Not sure if I would stay again.

I was given an accessible room for some reason. It was ground floor and had to go down a hall where there were sections where the lights did not work. Had to use my phone to use the key. The room was awkward. There was a double bed against one wall and a singe on the other wall.

The lights were poorly placed too along with the switches. The shower was a walk in and the wall was covered with mildew in the grout, the floor and the rest was clean. There was not toilet paper holder, just a roll propped on the grab bar. The ceiling had all kinds of water stains. Most likely a room similar above, because when I took a shower, the bathroom got flooded, design flaw somewhere in the shower.

It looked like they are in the process of remodeling, as the desk and storage shelves were very attractive. But the room should not have been rented out.

On the transportation and shuttle service they offer, it is only to the metro train stop by the stadium. This is two trains from the Centrale train station and a challenge from the other train station. I ended up getting a taxi due to a communication breakdown between the receptionist and I and a train strike that started 5 minutes before I arrived.

This hotel chain has two beaches. Both have the same logo and share very similar names. I, inadvertently booked a room at the branch property which is nearer to the city centre and turned up at the branch of the Idea Hotel chain that is located near the airport. Neither branch communicated with each other about this mistake and I ended up paying 3 times the original price!

The short review would be: “Just don’t stay there”. Or “slightly better than sleeping in your car”.
The long review would be:
Rooms are dirty and worn down; bathroom and shower is almost unhygienic and shower head was moldy
Walls are so flimsy you can hear the movie in the room next door
Reception staff - with one exception (a lady in the morning)- is inattentive and don’t like their job.
Check in is at 3pm not 2 pm as advertised.
Shuttle service stops at 11 am so useless if you get there in the afternoon.
The hotel is surrounded by an industrial area and at night is quite scary and unsafe.
To get to the subway you need to get a bus and it will take you about 20 minutes.
So avoid unless you want to ruin your vacay and even if you just need a place to crash for a night find another option.

CECKIN IS NOT AT 2PM as it says on the website, they only allow check-in at 3pm. We planned the trip with what they showed on the website and we had to wait until three and postpone all the commitments we had. We booked two rooms, when we arrived at the hotel they only gave us one room, only after I asked about the other room twice and showed my email did they decide to give me the second room. If you are a lay person, they will cheat you and give you just one room... the shower in the rooms had no water pressure, which made it impossible to wash my hair (since I have long hair) very little water came out of the shower. and also the silicone bathrooms were full of black mold marks. Anyway, a lot of wrong information, don't trust the information shown online, the photos that show the hotel are outdated photos

There was hardly anything to like about the property. I booked two rooms for my family of six, but there was hardly anything good about the property. The rooms smelled badly, the fridge in each of the rooms didn't work, the bed sheets had stain marks, the bins were broken. To make matters worse I slept with my youngest son on the same bed and we experienced what appears to be multiple bug bites that swole up and became large watery bullous blisters. These blisters are red in color and intensely itchy. We really deserve compensation for these issues.

Really disappointed in this very grotty hotel. The public areas look nice but our quadruple room was awful. The sofa bed was tiny with padding that came apart, curtains were ripped, floor was stained; shower cubicle broken, toilet seat wonky… overall really horrible! Check in time wasn’t right, free public shuttle bus wasn’t operational and overall we couldn’t wait to leave! Avoid.

The room was very tatty lots of broken item's in the bathroom, shower very weak and cold, toilet seat broken, hand rail in shower missing, sink tap very dirty, no plug in sink. Electricity went off twice during stay. The tissues box never had tissues in. The carpet in bedroom was wet. When we tried to complain they said they didn't understand English so couldn't help

8 euro's a night for what was supposed to be secure parking, in/out barrier up all the time, aircon doesn't work, shower head hanging off, no plug in sink, curtains hanging off, lots of stains on carpet, only 3 hangers, crooked tv bracket, 1 out of 3 bulbs working in bathroom, breakfast ok but bacon swimming in oil. MILES away from anything, no local bars restaurants or bars in the middle of industrial area. would not recommend this hotel

I liked the breakfast spread they had, however, they didn't even bring out the eggs on our second morning. We were told when we booked that breakfast was included but when we got there we had to pay.

The floor in our room wasn't cleaned properly as we found Almonds that weren't ours on the floor. During breakfast, it was hard to find a clean table.

When we asked the front desk for a second pillow, the guy at the desk sighed and seemed very upset that we had asked for a pillow. Then he said he would bring one up in 20 minutes.

The beds were made nicely, and the breakfast was very good. The Lobby was clean and the front entrance was well kept.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. All the staff was really rude, from the front desk to the waitresses at the restaurant. The only nice person we found that had a smile was the lady cleaning our room. The pictures are not at all how the rooms look like, the rooms look old and dirty and the shower is so small you cant even have a proper shower. Also, the hotel is far away from Milan. You have to choose between paying a taxi 80 euros to take you to Milan or getting one bus and 2 metros to get there. But if you are coming back to the hotel at night the bus stations feels unsafe.

This property is disappointing because it does not fully present a 4-star hotel as advertised. It is far away from public transport, which is a point they failed to mention. If you are at the first floor between, between rooms 103 - 113 you can hear the staff working at night shift. So, give your good night rest a bye-bye because it is noisy. The breakfast is very limited. There was not enough orange juice and for children no hot chocolate. The light switch in the room was not working. The room did not have a tv remote control. The plastic furniture around the hotel is tacky and ugly. Idea Hotel Milano is not your Ideal Hotel in Milano. Find elsewhere to stay!

There was parking on the premises but it was far and dark and on top of it, youwe paid for it. The receptionist wouldn't spare a single smile. We were feeling cold and we were told there were no blankets at all. The shower didn't work properly. I'm really disappointed and have no intention to spend a night there.sgain.

-Minibar supplied with just water and not cleaned properly (had a very bad smell)

-Free shuttle advertised during morning and evening times, however was told that it was available only in mornings after booking. This was a big issue as I wouldn’t have booked the hotel if I knew this information beforehand due to poor transport
-Door didn’t lock and cleaners kept coming without knocking/saying anything
-No good way to communicate with the hotel as the only way they communicate is via email and the email address is nowhere to be found on the website (had to read through hundreds of reviews to find it)

Its a good hotel, especially for the price.
Parking is next to the hotel, costs 6€, but totally worths it.
We were ok our trip further to Italy, and its a good stop for the night.
Beds are comfortable, rooms big and clean.
And breakfast is nice, with fruits and good bacon.

The only thing is which was disturbing - the air condition was pretty loud in our room. So we just turned it off.

I planned to come to Italy because I never been before and also to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I booked here in this hotel and made the payment which is not refundable. Unfortunately, the coronavirus has increased as in the news, it is not recommended to travel I tried to make a change for later explaining the situation of the moment. Unfortunately their even not change when is emergency like this I will not risk it AND I DO NOT recommend this Hotel only thinks about money instead of give flexibility to your customers so to all people who are thinking of making a reservation look for a Hotel that can give flexibility in a situation that can happen and you are not to blame. So this hotel here I do not recommend to anyone.

The hotel room smelled like cigarette smoke as soon as we entered. My husband called front desk to complain, they said they will send someone up to spray the room. 30 minutes no one came. So my husband went downstairs to complain again and see if we can get another room. They said, they are fully booked and can’t help us. My husband informed the front desk that we gave a toddler and he is more worried for our daughter. But they wouldn’t budge. So we just had to sleep with the windows and it was freezing cold. And we could still smell cigarette smokes because people were smoking outside downstairs and the wind blew in the smokes. Their breakfast buffet was odd. And they sprinkled powdered sugar on all the fruits. Totally an unhealthy option. The room and parking was cheap for a reason. Never again.

Like the fact that it's a newer facility so everything still kinda new. That's what I look for in a hotel and not necessarily the price or the star rating. There is an ablution bowl in there so people have been peeing in it and smells bad because I'm sure they don't clean it every day. Trash can did not have bags in them and the little foot lever has been broken for a while it looks like. The faucet is leaking lad also. But hopefully that is the only room that is in that shape.

location is good only if you have a car, you need to pay 6 EUR a day for parking

Nice hotel with nice clean big rooms close to San Siro Stadium. The only negative is that the parking in the hotel need to be for free

Deceiving **** it is NOT!!!

The picture that you see of the hotel must have been taken when it was first built, what it doesn’t show you is the industrial estate in which it’s situated!
Check in went smooth, the room was clean and it reminded me of a Travel Lodge!
Breakfast was included but nothing to right home about,”cake for breakfast”?, the hot options were bacon & scrambled eggs (bacon was swimming in grease)
Basically we used the hotel as a base to visit Milan but would never return to this hotel!!!

Hotel is great, but it's in the middle of nowhere and the only local place for lunch is an unimpressive pizza shop that closes for siesta

The bathroom floods the bedroom. There are a ton of mosquitoes at night, a lot of flies during the day in the lobby and dining area. The food was great! The room is very unsafe for older folks and toddlers, the vanity sink moves and unstable. Walk down the halls and there are buckets on the floor to catch the water leek from the floor above. Its in the middle of nowhere.

Horrible. Very far from everything. 60 minute drive to Milan. No shops or restaurants nearby. Industrial zone. Almost no WiFi. No where to park. Little staff. Little english. Little air conditioning. Breajast was ok- but dame orange juice....little staff to clean breakfast. Huge hotel t he at apparently services big bus tours

Terrible staff.. and bad location

Located around 30 mins away from Milano Central and in a industrial area. So no restaurants or shops close by to eat or hang around... hotel reception never pick up the phones when trying to call them.. So have to around 15mins inthe queue when we trying to get some thing done.. Air conditioning was not working in our room so they offered another room which was the same.. we had 4 people including kiss but they left us only 2 pillows. To get the extra pillows we had to stay in the reception queue as they don't pick up phones. Shower door broken and shower holder broken too. A very bad experience..

No free shuttle to the stadium!!

Very small rooms but comfortable! We stayed here specifically because it said free shuttle to the stadium which we were told there was none at the check in! So it took 2 public buses to get there and it was raining. Very far from everywhere else.

Nice hotel in a run down area.

The hotel building was clean, spacious and secure, everything inside was nice and provided a great stay. The downside was the surrounding area looked extremely run down, hard not to notice the workong girls on the roads leading to the hotel. Again a plus for the hotel is the provide a manned carpark allowing a 10min drive to thd metro which gets you into milan centre for €4.90 (day pass) €1.50 for parking (we stayed around 5hours for that price), a bus stop and a shuttle service to the metro (unfortunately full when we got there). I would recommend for bussiness stays and anyone happy to just use the hotel as a bed not fussed about nice surroundings.
