The staff's attentiveness and kindness contributed to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Nevertheless, the mattress was uncomfortable, the room was overheated, and the bed was inadequate for two individuals. The property is in need of renovation and appears to be outdated. In general, it fails to meet the standards of a four-star property.

Este hotel aparece como 5 estrellas en Trivago, claramente no lo es: La habitacion es pequeña, la cama estaba en muy malas concidicones, las toallas eran de mala calidad. El desayuno no ofrecia una gran variedad. Para resaltar la atencion del personal y la ubicacion.

Very friendly staff! The building is older the rooms aren't as nice as other places and my room had a weird smell. But the simple breakfast every morning was nice, and it's so conveniently located in walking distance to the conference center nearby. Really enjoyed getting to know the area!

Excelente hotel, pero en los cuartos cuyas ventanas dan hacia adentro del edificio todo el ruido del resto del hotel se siente fuerte. Cualquier ruido se oia muy cerca desde la puerta de otro huesped, o gente hablando por el pasillo, o inclusive cuando organizaron las sillas para el desayuno. La idea de quedarse cerca de la embajada era estar descansandos para la temprana cita que teniamos, pero fue demasiado díficil descansar con tanto ruido. Nos toco inclusive pedir a los huéspedes vecinos que por favor hablaran con la puerta cerrada.

Difficult check-in, taking time to verify the reservation; receptionists’ poor English; food not fresh, microwave prepared dishes; toilet in the room consisted of old stains from previous use; half of electrical things in the room did not work as of lights, fridge; old furniture; dirty carpet on hallways, hasn’t been vacuumed for a while; hotel’s staff demanding that we could not store our luggage later than 2 pm after check out time ( haven’t had such a demand never before).

I’ll give the staff some credit though: polite, humble, the receptionist made some exceptions and let us leave our luggage in the storage room until later than 2 pm but not later than 3 pm , and she kept some additional baggage at the reception for us.
Other staff personnel were polite too.

But anything other staff, was not pleasant: rooms not cleaned enough, terrible food, limited options.

This hotel clearly doesn’t represent a 3.5 stars standards. At least not anymore. I would not stay here ever again, and could not recommend to anybody.

Hotel personnel were not friendly and not accommodating, I arrived early to the hotel, and I couldn’t check in early which I understood, however I do not appreciate the fact that the store my backpack they charge a fee to do so. The person working in the front desk was not approachable at all. Due to my not so pleasant experience, I cannot recommend this hotel Nor I will ever want to stay at this property again..

Hotel has affordable prices for people who will spend more than a week at Bogotá. It is near to the American Embassy . There are near pharmacies, restaurants and markets. Breakfast is very good . The guy in charge of the restaurant is extremely nice and polite. Also de reception lady Deisy was very helpful and friendly all the time.

Very convenient place if you're having business at the US Embassy. Good service at the restaurant and breakfast but it wasn't a full-breakfast as promise. The room was ok, kinda noisy if you get the ones with the street view. Room seems old but it wasn't smelly or anything like that.

Nice Enough

The hotel is good and clean. The staff speak very little English and are not able to help with tours and activities. The breakfast staff were kind and tried to make us comfortable. Hotel is 30 mins in traffic away from city Centre so mornings were tough to get to tours on time!

Expensive for the services provided

Hotel rooms are way smaller than they look. Hotel is bit run down. Breakfast was decent but people serving the breakfast did not seem to be happy. Reception was good.

This hotel has a Park next door. The American Embassy is down the street. There are many restaurants close by. The airport shuttle service provided by the hotel was a life saver. The food was great and the room was very clean.

Nice hotel near the U.S. Embassy but...

The hotel staff were absolutely great from the reception through the check out. They were always there for anything we needed and were extremely courteous. After check in, we were brought up to the room and it was extremely clean and looked well maintained. After we started unpacking, one of the first things we noticed was there was no control for the temperature. It was cold outside and as the night went on, it became very cold in the room. Luckily the water in the shower is extremely hot so we jumped in the shower to warm up and then straight into the bed to stay warm. The next issue we discovered is that the walls are paper thin. You will hear everything from the traffic, neighbors, to any party that is occurring in the hotel. The last item we did not like was the bed. The mattress is hard to the point that it cuts off circulation. I am a military member and the previous month, I was in the field sleeping on the ground. I was able to sleep better than I did on this bed. My wife had the same issue and she is used to sleeping on a hard mattress in her mother's home in Colombia. After two nights of being in the bed for 8 hours but only sleeping for 4 hours I had to buy ear plugs. Is still woke up due to the bed but at least I got up to 5-6 hours. If you do stay, I recommend this as well as clothing appropriate for the lack of temperature control.

Arrived late room wasn't ready,dirty toilet,carpet

Front desk doesn't understand English.Bellboy after the tip,forced to takeover my small backpack. At front desk on December 6th.2016 at 6:30 am I asked 50,000 COP change in smaller domination,but pretended not understand.
On December 5th.when late check in (7;pm) my room wasn't ready,Toilet wasn't flashed, no towels. soap scum on the bathroom mirror and shower. Women hairs on the bed. Seem they kept the same bed-sheets,pillow cover used by previous guest. Merchandise price tags sticking on the Carpet,room was dark and not soundproof.At 4am starts the street noise couldn't sleep well.Hallway was dark,there is sensor but it doesn't popup immediately. Which mean I had to walk in the dark for few second. Breakfast wasn't great setup, I had to ask for coffee.
Try to sell 45,000 cop Airport Transfers (taxi) which I got in 15000 cop at the front of the hotel, try to reap-off guest.
Best part of the Hotel is the great location,many restaurant and Grand station and Centro Commercial (Mall) is 5 minutes away. Airport is 10 to 15 minutes.

It was ok until I was forced to pay a penalty for not checking in pn 11th despite my email notifying hotel of changes in flight schedule, in addition to my scarf being stolen.

It is also important to have an English translator on hand

Great place for the price.

I had a great time. We arrived early morning and they gave us the room right away. The staff is very friendly, ready to help. Breakfast in the morning was great. Beds are really comfortable. I will recommend it to friends and family when they need to go to that area of the capital. I really enjoyed my trip to Bogotá.

Good hotel for money

The hotel is rated at 3.5 stars. It is a nice hotel but I would say it is more of a 3 star than a 3.5 star. They rooms were nice with a large screen tv and king but the bathroom looked a little old. There was some mildew/mold in between some of the tiles in the shower.

Good but noisy hotel

A good hotel around 20 minute from the airport. Better to take a taxi than to use their shuttle, since e were met by a nice couple but had to wait 45 minutes for the next person they were picking up! The hotel is clean and comfortable and our only complaint was the noise. Both mornings incredibly loud music from some building or club started at 5.45 am. So loud it was impossible to sleep any more. The same music started around 6pm and went on into the evening. The windows are not at all sound proof so it really spoiled our time. The staff are very nice. The breakfast is good and the price was very reasonable. Would recommend but not because of the noise.

The room was pleasant. The mattresses were totally to our liking. The things that I would like to see made better are the lack of lighting in the room (no lamps, nightstands), and no chair in the room. We had 3 beds, so the space may not have been available due to the 3rd bed. The staff was very helpful and cordial.

Conveniently located.

This hotel has an excellent location, the premises are well kept,nice environment and courteous to say the least about the staff.Perhaps my only suggestion is that they should have a better TV channels lineup, very few channels and no a single premium one.Everyrhing else is awesome. Thanks every on for your sheer hospitality.

Very nice stuff

There is no air condition in the rooms, locate in a crowded area there is a noise from outside early in the morning , some of the rooms there is no hot water but the stuff willing to help 24 hours even though they don't speak English well.

Great hotel at a great value with great service.

Very comfortable with all of the amenities needed. Staff was very helpful. Nearby to eating places and only 10 minutes to the airport. Great value and highly recommended if you're doing an overnight to fly out the next morning.

A wonderful stay

The room was kind of cold, and well the hotel just a bit off.. But here's the thing, decent cost next to the US Embassy (right next to) and very clean. You'll find the attendants eager to serve and a places to eat or buy food right next door.

Close to US Embassy-Visa interview

I was in Bogota to go with my girlfriend to the US Embassy for a meeting. The staff is very helpful but you will need to speak spanish. The room was clean and comfortable. We were the only people on the floor for the two days we were there. Each morning the hotel provided breakfast of made to order eggs, bread, fresh fruit, pancakes, and a variety of juices. We did not use any of the amenities or the bar but they are available. There are also restaurants just outside the hotel.
