Great staff, great location for the train and a grocery store is part of the building.
Room is starting to show some wear, won’t be long and the hardwood will need some refinishing. Tile work in the bathroom is starting to show its age. Lots of chalking used to stop water leaks. Bath plug and overflow cap was missing from the tub (not sure why).
But overall was good, we would stay again.
Canadian couple in for the winter games.

The room was not as advertised. The power was out upon arrival. Often the fridge didn't work, or the lights didn't work. The wifi didn't work for hours at a time. I had to be moved to another room but it was absolutely unacceptable.

Wonderful hotel, clean and spacious rooms, very attentive staff. They let us check in before check in hours since our room was ready. Easy access to the transportation network of Milan through the nearby Rho station. In the same building you can find a very supplied supermarket if you need it. The breakfast had a decent amount of variety, especially the sweets (several different croissants available). Rooftop terrace is nice, but we didn’t use it because of the rain. I would just like to note that the hotel restaurant has great food but the service is slow and chaotic, unlike the experience with the hotel itself.

The hotel, bedroom and staff are top notch BUT there is not a lot of options to eat close by and the hotel restaurant has a limited menu. Also, you are close to the RHO train station (great) but walking back at night is kind of sketchy. Again, the hotel is one of the best that I stayed during my recent trip to Italy, just be aware of the 2 tradeoffs that I mentioned.

Nice Hotel with convenient free parking. Temp in room hot and system not working to adjust. Window wouldn't open to help. Sink didnt drain and the wifi was not reachable in our room. Staff was pleasant and overall the experience was fine since it was only one night we stayed.

Reception was very helpful in telling us the best way to get to Milan Centre. Dinner was nice and service staff were friendly. Breakfast also came with a good selection of different breakfast foods. Wifi in the room was pretty terrible. Parking was free and convenient.

The staff were great however no kettle or coffee making facilities in the room and it could have done with a lick of paint. Not sure how it is 4* aircon sounds like a jet engine! Situation is good and breakfast is good if you are from the continent.
Be aware if you want Metro and Milan tickets the coffee shop sells cheap tickets. Train schedules at weekend are not that reliable so ensure you have options and have planned the journeys.

The hotel rooms were very clean but need a lot of updating. There was mould on the walls where the head of the bed was and also mildew along the bathroom tiles. Breakfast was okay not very cub of a selection of hot breakfast. In our 2nd day we came in to our room from a long day out in the town and found our room door was open. Housekeeping had come in while we were out as we had new towels and freshly made bedding but all out belongings were in the room. I called down to reception immediately to notify them and the hostess responded by saying “she does not know why that would of be done and there’s nothing she can do about it”. I explained that this needed to be escalated to management but we did not hear back from them. I would not be staying at this hotel again.

We booked our hotel for three nights of our stay in Milan. The pictures online looked acceptable but in person the hotel was not an accurate depiction. The premises are unkept, almost looks like an abandoned property.
There is very little light in the hallways, there were thick old spiderwebs on the lights right before the entrance to our room. Inside the room there were scoff marks on the walls and the decor was outdated. Not well maintained in general.
On the first night we stayed we asked for an iron and the hotel front desk person said the hotel only owned two irons but they couldn't retrieve it, \"sorry\". On the second night they finally brought an old, dirty iron to our room.
On the third night the air conditioning stopped working. We called the front desk but no one came to check on the malfunction. About an hour later we called the front desk again and they said they would send a repair person to check on it. When the repair person finally came he checked the controls and left (didn't say if he would be back or if he could fix it.) about 45 minutes later we had to call again (by this time it was freezing inside the room). Lorenzo in the front desk said the A.C. problem could not be fixed and we had to move to another room. Moving to another room only to leave in a few hours was a mayor inconvenience so we stayed in the room, it was so cold we slept with jackets on and long pants.

Affordable clean hotel near Milan

Very nice hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Hotel is not so easy to find, but after 10 minutes of searching we found it. Ample parking area. Staff is friendly and helpful. The price of the hotel is very reasonable. Only issue we had was initially finding the place, and the area surrounding the hotel is not so great. Not many things to do in the immediate vicinity.

Heating not working and other reviews

The heating wasn’t really working during my stay and made the staff aware on numerous occasions but all I was told was that someone would have a look at it but no one turned until I made numerous calls later. Eventually someone turned up and came to check the heating only for him to tell me he would be back in five minutes which never happened. I then had to make another call to the reception and the person I spoke to was helpful this time and offered to put me in another smaller room but I opted for a blanket as I was leaving the next morning. This issue could have been rectified earlier if only the issue was attended to on time. I also ran out of toilet roll as it was very small in size, called to have another but yet again, didn’t get any. My stay was very disappointing in general and won’t be staying there again.

A very decent hotel

The hotel itself is very decent! I have no complains! Though i cannot say more about it. Location wise is great only if you are driving!!! Any other public transport is a bit of a time waste because you need to take an overground train and then the metro to go to the city center of Milan. Plus you need to walk around 10 minutes to the train station. The hotel has FREE parking which is great THOUGH and this is very important, it has no security cameras and the area is a bit dodgy and if you read the reviews on trip advisor a lot are reporting car thieves. Luckily we were ok.
The room was nice and spacious. The bed was a queen size and it was big. The bathroom was fine, a bit old but ok, no bathtub only a shower. TV and a mini fridge. Finally breakfast was included with the room price and it is a decent buffet with warm and cold food. so for that they get an extra star from me. i really appreciate warm buffets. i will definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling on a budget and you are driving in Italy. only down side is that there is no view from the rooms windows, you just see a court yard similar to the ones in prisons. this is because the building was an old factory which one side became the hotel and on the other there is a huge supermarket. another plus. you can buy food and stuff round the corner.

Nice hotel allowed late check in as we never arrived till 2 AM. Great large comfortable rooms! Couldn’t get the Sky Tv channels to work however. Breakfast was okay! Not a large selection of hot items though but perfectly adequate for our needs. Small town on the outskirts of Milan so was great we were so close to the train station which gave us a cheap alternative to a taxi into Milan.Enjoyed the stay.

As we were driving, the free parking was welcomed. We also liked the large room with plenty of space for our bags. One suggestion would be to have toiletries that did not smell like inexpensive men's cologne. The guys probably don't care, but the girls need something a bit more feminine. Breakfast was included and was a nice selection.

The hotel is out of the urban area so you pay more for transportation but good train (trenords)service. Will be much better if there will be a shuttle service from rho train station to the hotel itself. With the hot weather(32 degrees), really uncomfortable to walk 300 meters pulling your luggages.
The hotel is a good value for money, clean and cosy, spacious rooms and bathroom. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and the mediterranean breakfast.
Will surely try other branch of Italiana hotels.

Best and very interesting place to stay when looking for a quiet time. The staffs are nice and helpful. A well welcoming hotel. The rooftop is cool and nice to have a romantic time with you lover or family with. The locations was a bit not for me but I like the food. Do something about light in your corridors. Overall nice hotel but serious problems.

My room had to be switched twice because there was no a.c. in the room and each time they argued with me and said it was working when it wasn't. Also my rental car got broken into in the parking lot which apparently is a known problem and the hotel stay blew it off and said I should go to the local police station but it wasn't their problem.

Modern, clean option for those with a car!

We booked Milan Rho for one night. We had a rock concert nearby and it was perfect for our needs. The hotel is modern and very clean. Room is big, bright and the bathroom is very good. Very good value for money as well. The hotel is fairly close to the Rho train station (don't mix it with the Rho fair train station). Breakfast was delicious and we got a welcome drink from the bar.Very good option for those coming by car!

We picked this hotel due to its proximity to the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese. The hotel itself is a converted cotton mill. This gives the building a certain charm and history from the outside, inside it is a modern hotel. Parking was plentiful and checkin was easy and quick.

The room was spacious and well equipped.

As we had an early start the next day we decided to take advantage of the hotel bar and restaurant. These are located on the top floor of the hotel, with the bar having a outdoor area on the roof. It was a good end to the day sitting in the sun sipping cocktails.

The food was good quality and plentiful. So much so that we had to forgo desert. Breakfast was in the same location and again there was plenty of variety.

All in all we had a good stay here and will be back next year.

The hotel is really good, and has a big shop by the side. The only down side is the location- when there is no event, that is. It was all well and good until we missed breakfast on a sunday morning. We walked hours and hours looking for food round the town and we could'nt find. Had to wait tilll evening on empty stomachs.
There is no shuttle to milano centrale from here

The hotel is nice, but not quite as nice as it looks on the web site. It's in a great location close to the train station and within easy walking distance of many restaurants. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great every day - lots of choices and nothing ever ran out. Definitely have a drink on the 4th floor patio in the evening for a view of Milan.The room had a thermostat that never seemed to do anything even after I talked to the front desk.

Great for Expo, Bad for Vacation

This hotel was a good value and within close proximity to the train station (one stop away from Rho Fiera), which made it nice for visiting Expo 2015. However, the location is kind of in the middle of nowhere when it comes to any sort of site seeing, and it's a pain to get in and out of Milan via train or taxi. Furthermore, it was between 80-100 euro to get to/from the airport, and they don't offer a shuttle, so be prepared. On the plus side, the Executive King room was adequately spacious (especially by European standards), the bathroom was large (with a full bathtub), and the balcony is huge. However, note that the balcony is shared with everyone else on the fourth floor, so there is zero privacy. And since it is also shared with the restaurant on the fourth floor, random guests could be walking past your window at any time, so you end up kind of needing to have the drapes closed all the time if you really want privacy. The breakfast buffet is ample, and the restaurant's dinner menu is great. Furthermore, the staff in the restaurant is very friendly and professional. The view from the restaurant balcony is lovely. Last note: If you send clothes to laundry, just know they may not arrive back in time. I dropped things off one morning and was told I'd have them back by 6pm that night. But I didn't get them until the next afternoon.

Clean, modern, excellent in its class

Excellent value for money. Corridors etc are bare but rooms are stylish and comfortable. Good restaurant with friendly staff who care, good food (huge portions) and a small roof terrace and large bar area. Convenient for Fiera (1 stop on train) and Milan (20 mins). Lots of trains.

Small picky points. Its about 300-400 meters from the station (no taxi) so not for lots of luggage unless you arrive by car. Rho is dumpy and not much for nightlife bit the hotel is great for a couple of nights. Business centre doesnt have a printer (you email to reception for printing). Only two channels in TV in English (no news).

Overall it was comfortable and convenient. A good alternative to staying in Milan.

Perfect location to the Expo!

This is a great hotel to stay at when visiting the Expo. You just walk a few blocks to the train station and in one stop you are there! The hotel is a refurbished former cotton factory and has high ceilings and a nice exterior of brick and dark grey steel. We had an executive room that was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included and more than adequate. There is terrace seating with a nice view - nice to sit there when the sun is out. Overall, we liked the hotel and will stay here again. It is also nice to not have to drive into the city. The train of course also goes into the city.

Weekend with good old friends

Every year we're visiting our good old friends in Rho Milano and stay at the Hotel Italiano Rho Fair. It's a convenient location for our purpose with a most polite hotel staff and and nice amenities.

EXPO trekkers

Only one stop on metro to EXPO Milano 2015

Staff a bit offputish but location was fine. Easy 10 minute walk to metro and only one stop to Expo. Fair breakfast.
Room was actually nice with a good size bathroom for Europe. Large bed ...a little hard. The Expo was superb!! as usual. This is our 4th expo and we are never disappointed. This was the best laid out plan yet. Easy to navigate with free water stations so bring your own bottle. We choose this hotel because it was built for the expo and were looking for something modern. Rooms can only accommodate 2 but adjoining rooms are available. Lots of towels in bath, shower nice, handheld or overhead. Prompt cleaning of room. Breakfast is typical and plentiful. We didn't use the facilities....workout/turkish bath....since the EXPO was our goal. 5 star EXPO. Italian pavilion is impossible to visit since the lines are always so long but the wine tasting is not to be missed and make sure to go to the German Pavilion...outstanding technology display. (We are a well traveled now all adult family)

Good value for money

Situated in Rho (near Milan) it was a good option when arriving by car (Milan traffic can be very rude in & around the city). Parking was right in front of the hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean (especially the bath room!). Also the inner rooms have its own windows so you will get day light into your room. Breakfast is in the upper floor and very good. 10 minutes by foot there is the train station Rho from where you'll get within 20 minutes to milan by train (EUR 5 both ways). We would stay here again.

We needed to fly out of Milan and needed a place halfway between the airport and city. This was perfect.

There is a grocery store in the same building which is convenient. The room was nice but the AC did not work at all. I was sweating trying to sleep. The included breakfast was terrible.

Great Hotel in Suburb Milan

Hard to find (you will need a GPS), awesome to stay in. Very modern-looking, sauna and steam bath in fitness center a great touch. Excellent wi-fi, nice to have electric plugs conveniently located next to each bed at pillow level.

Rho is a very nice little town at the edge of big city Milan. Perfect for those who want a taste of Italy minus the tourista.

A good hotel if you want to visit the fiera

This hotel was a very pleasant experience overall.. Although it is a little difficult to find especially if u land late in the night as there are not many landmarks around.. But once we reached there the hotel staff were warm and friendly and quite helpful. The shuttle service to the fair ground was a boon for us and the breakfast spread was good even for me as I'm a vegetarian. After business my friends and I wanted to go around other cities for a few days and they let us use their cloak room to leave behind our excess luggage which was a great help as many low budget airlines don't allow a lot of weight. One more point is that the train station Rho is close by and not the metro so when u are coming from the central station- either u take a train to rho or u will have to take a metro to rho fiera and cab it to the hotel or interchange with a train back to rho. If u have less luggage I suggest u don't cab it from the airport it as it costs about 90 euros. Rather take a bus to central station from the airport ( about 10 euros) and take then train to rho. Saves money.
