There are lots of things to like about this hotel unfortunately they are all spa oriented gym good pool good , spa services good and all reaonabily priced . It is off the beaten track and that means poor hotel ettiquete , from most of its guests but pricing and services does cancel some of that put , if you want to be closer to the action dont stay here . Bear in mind the action isnt always worth enjoying , you will save a few quid and ...................... enjoy ?!?!!!?

Everything about the hub was amazing except for the location. I specifically picked a place between downtown Milan and San Siro. The problem is that there is nothing nearby. It’s an industrial area. There is a restaurant / Lounge on site.

The hotel is very nice and modern. Loved the room. Fridge full of cold drinks. The toilets are a bit confusing to flush. lol! The staff is amazing!

Property was beyond amazing, but dinner menu was limited and as much as the food was good there could be much more options on the actual food and more specified to the Italian cuisines.

This was an excellent hotel, sadly the building has not been looked after. The staff do their best, but they can only do so much in the face of an obvious lack of interest in investing by the owners.
The lifts were noisy and they don't all serve all floors.
The rooms are secondary quadruple glazed, so it is very quite. The top floor swimming pool is a great idea, though 3/4 of the lights didn't work.

Let me start by saying that the staff are absolutely brilliant. Couldn't be more helpful. I had a couple of minor issues while I was there and they were understanding, helpful and efficient.
Sadly there is a but. I was there for an exhibition at Rho Fierra. And yes there is a Shuttle, but you have to book it a day or so in advance which is fine but not very convenient. Public transport is too far away (more shuttle rides) so you would be reliant on taxis which are not easily obtainable in that area. The rooms (I was in two) of them are visually appealing but a chair mounted on a stand with four metal sprigs next to the bed is not great when you visit the bathroom at 3.00am (stubbed toes!). The shower is clumsy and there is nowhere to put your suitcase. I sometimes wonder if the people who design these rooms ever stay in them. And sadly the breakfast, maybe because of Covid, was not what I was expecting - very disappointing compared with previous Italian breakfasts I have enjoyed in the past.

Hotel is on the middle of nowhere, not a situated in a good neighborhood. Building it self it’s old the rooms have been a bit updated yet it remains below typical standards for what your paying. Also be aware it’s nowhere near any public transport, if you Have a car they will charge for to park it 20 euros per day. The WiFi sucks as it’s restricted, and be aware if you have a early check out meaning you have booked for more days than what you actually want to end up staying they will not refund you or change your reservation I lost 500 euros because I changed hotels after my first night there. But whatever the place was not great it was on the middle of nowhere I was not going to stay there.

Don’t understand why pool was not 24/7 as the gym
Free shuttle is a great asset otherwise you would be stuck to get anywhere without a taxi as there is nothing in the local area.

The location of the hotel is extremely inconvenient and the view is horrible. It is situated on the outskirts of Milan near an old motorway/construction area. The room was cold, mattress hard and sheets didn’t seem fresh and clean( ended up sleeping with my personal blanket). The shower was absolutely disgusting, unkept and dripping. The hallway wasn’t well lit and didn’t feel safe. Bar was okay, will not be returning

Was a bit concerned about the location of this hotel but the reception immediately put us at ease by advising us of the shuttle car available to the tube station. From there you can travel easily to anywhere in Milan for a 4.50 euro day ticket. Staff are very friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions you may have. The rooms were clean and sizeable with good facilities. Any requests made for additional pillows etc was dealt with quickly. The lovely pool are well tended, and a lovely place to relax after a long hot day sightseeing. We also booked a massage which was fantastic. The food in the restaurant was to a very good standard and the buffet breakfast has everything anybody would want.

We spend two nights there, hotel staff was helpful. We were not impressed with service at the bar...you can wait ages to get glass of vine...Although Reception team was always friendly and smiley. They do have a shuttle which takes to metro station, but they not always on time, once we booked it we had to wait more than an hour next to the station until he arrived...They do offer SPA facilities, but they not the best ones...
Room wasn't too clean, was a bit dusty everywhere, i dropped accidentally my black dress on the floor and it's gone grey one side, because of the dust on the floor.

In the middle of nowhere

Very disappointed with this hotel looked good but that's as it got went downhill from then. Retardant was the worst food I had in Italy. The room had the worst smell coming from the drainage and took days to sort out. They started doing maintenance work in the pool area wile we were in the pool this included smashing up part of the floor of which bits were flying in the pool no notification of works. The staff had a very poor attitude when I complained worst hotel experience EVER !!!

Nice hotel, hassle to find restaurants

The hotel itself is very lovely, the rooms are nice alongside the bathrooms, besides the fact that the toilet roll holder was loose, nevertheless it was good. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotel provides a free shuttle service two and from the hotel to the nearest station that takes you straight to central Milan. In the evening though it's a bit difficult to find restaurants near the hotel itself, unless you have a car or are staying out until late in central it's not a problem, however it can be an issue. Although the hotel does have the restaurant open during the evening, it's slightly pricey and isn't something I'd like to eat every night.

Location is very remote (you need to call reception to book a free transfer from the tube station) one hour in advance. Walking from teh station to teh hotel is almost not possible due to industrial area and lack of pedastrian route
A pool was far from being nice and clean. Actually we have decided not to use it.
Furniture was slightly worn, roller blind was broken.
But room was very nice and clean, staff was friendly and very helpfull. Breakfast buffet offered good viraety of food.And coffee was delicious :)

The room was nice and clean and room service was amazing. Lowendy and Becka? ( Apprentice) on STAGE was of amazing help. There was so many things to do in the hotel and with the two days we had to do everything I did not have enough time.

We did have issues with our room, we had to switch on our 2nd night due to water problems & in the 2nd room there was a buzzing noise all night. It was clean. The shower door lets floor get ruined with water. Room was cold heater doesn't really do anything. Wifi was weak. Spa area closes at 8 on weekends They don't give you a second key so when one person leaves the room with the key there's no lights because the one key takes the power for the room.

Hotel is very different to its description.

Unfortunately the hotel was not what we had in mind. Described as a 4 star sleek high rise hotel, but this could not be further from the truth. Located on a deserted industrial estate, it had the image of a poorly maintained block of London council flats rather than the plush hotel we had been promised. The initial impression unfortunately ruined our mood, and the improved interior appearance could not repair this. The room was clean and spacious, in keep with the main lobby and restaurant. The staff were also extremely polite and helpful. The top floor pool had potential but was not well kept and freezing cold. The views were also nothing special to look at. The gym was basic but adequate for a quick workout. The spa did not wow us enough to spend the extra money to see it. The location was not brilliant for travelling to the city centre either, as you were reliant on the hotel shuttle to get to the metro (which only ran every hour, and was often running late). The only other option was a 45min tram ride or a rather expensive taxi. Overall the hotel was okay, just nothing special! and very uninspiring from its appearance. Fine if you just want a bed to rest in, but not suitable for anything more than that.

The pool was small but delightful, I enjoyed the longer hours of availability (early morning especially). The restaurant food was absolutely extraordinary and the vegan/vegetarian options were fantastic, even with such a limited menu, which is very unusual. I'm still talking about the squash mushroom soup!! The waiters were helpful, kind, and delightful. The staff was polite and attentive without exception. The room toilet didn't work right and it wasn't fixed properly. And the hotel is farther out of central Milano than listed on booking sites by several kilometres. Even so, I'd return there in a heartbeat, for the pool, the people, and the soup (and desserts). And will do so.

Decent hotel , however restaurant overpriced with a limited menu . The pool was out of use for 4 of my 5 days there and the spa opening times were limited and out of use for 2 of my 5 day stay.

Reception staff were helpful and gave us good tips re getting around and places to eat.

They are the most friendliest staff I've ever encounted, Paulo was very helpful as soon as I arrived, giving me instructions on how to use the metro and where the best places to visit are. The manager of the mirror restaurant, always made me feel welcome, always refreshed my bread basket (the oatmeal bread is to die for) the free shuttle bus is a life saver, at sometimes it runs a little late but who cares it's free :) and not a 1 hour walk which I learnt the hard way 5* for me

Per person they should specify that when booking a 4 start hotel should include all those amenities. me and my husband went out and come back at the hotel around 12:30 am the front door was luck more than 15 minutes waiting for someone to open the door and let us in

The Hub - One of the best

Everything about the hotel is amazing. The room was designed very well, with sufficient space and very practical. The hotel is very modern in design, the wifi is strong, great pool and fitness area. Staff are friendly and helpful and hotel is very clean and neat. The hotel is not located close to public transport and they only have a shuttle going to the nearest train station , but we couldn't find one coming back to the hotel from the station. Overall an amazing hotel!!

Hotel too far from anything other than the motorway. 1 hour public transport journey (train / metro) into any area of Milan worth visiting. Local area is industrial and there is nothing to wealk to or see.
The spa part of the hotel (which my wife tried) was below par; it was very tired and in need of attention. Treatments are very expensive.
Hotel breakfast was acceptable but nothing more than that.
Staff were very friendly and helpful as were all of the people we encountered whilst navigating our way around transport links into Milan.
The hotel was too far from town in my opinion but on the right side of Milan for Malpensa airport.
Overall, room was great (Nespresso machine was a real bonus!), staff super but nothing else of merit.

Exterior of hotel was awful, was worried when we pulled up as to what we were going in to. Breakfast was nice. An Unfortunate Incident!

Came for the Expo so we appreciate the paid transportation services to and from the Expo site. The website photos with arty furniture etc looked better than the real thing. The reception staff are helpful. Hotel provides free transportation every 30 min to the train station which will bring you to the city in 15 min so a good alternative as the Milan city hotels are comparatively much more expensive esp over the weekends.
However, pls check every time when you buy the 1.5 Euro ticket from the Milano Certosa train station café. We always purchased the tickets from this café and other shops in Milan in the train station on the spot and never had to stamped it. The last trip we were given 2 unstamped tickets and when we wanted to get out at the Galbaldi Station to change train to Turin with out bulky luggage, we were told that our tickets were not validated and we have to be fined 44 Euro x 2 person and out of kindness we were fined 44 Euro as a token. The ticket is in Italian and I only saw the 1.5 Euro on it.
I asked to travel back to the station to stamp but was not allowed to. The train inspector showed me a write up in Mandarin to explain the situation. I suspect many were caught like me cause the write up has a few languages. We were very very upset. Yes by law we were wrong, but law is written to catch those who tries to cheat the authority. This felt like Italy is trying to prey on visitors who are not alert enough!

Service at the reception desk was very good. Service overall was only let down by the staff in the restaurant during breakfasts. The food was very good but congestion occurred frequently making it difficult to navigate your way around. Food quickly ran out and was slow to be replaced. Labels identifying items were often grouped together and did not accurately identify foods/flavours. Serving implements were missing at times. Overall, the staff did not seem to be communicating with each other and it could be difficult at times to gain their attention, for example, when wanting to order coffee.

Good location for visiting Expo

Good hotel within walking distance (10min) to Expo. That's the only reason why I stayed there. Parking underground was not free, but parking on the road just outside is free and relatively safe. Nothing much else to do there, but I expected it, for a comfortable night stay just to visit Expo.

We stayed at this hotel to be close to the 2015 World Exposition in Milan. In this regard, the hotel did not disappoint. There is even an hourly shuttle to take visitors either to the Expo or to the train station with trains running regularly into the heart of the city. Beyond that, the hotel is just fine. The air conditioning was a bit noisy and the pool is indoors which seems like a bit of a shame. Still, we felt safe and cared for. No real complaints.

Convenient location close to Expo with shuttle

This is one of the 5 hotels closest to tbe grounds of World Expo2015. I booked this shotel was for this very reason. It is usually a business hotel. When I arrived at the hotel after lunch, not for long, I heard some renovation noises. I opened my door. It was in fact next room. After few weeks of travel, I was planing a day of rest. On top of that, the sitcoms was not cool enough, the room was 27 deg C! I was basically forced out of my room. I called to speak to the manager who was not available but talked to the front office manager. I told her the room was too hot. She suggested that they would help me to move into another room. I told her that I had already unpacked. I asked why I was checked in to a room that was undergoing renovations. The manager said that the receptionist did not check. I pointed out to that renovations for hotel are planned ahead, which means that the maintenance team should inform the receptionist in allocating the rooms for guests which are on that floor. Obviously in this case, there was no communication between the 2 groups in this hotel. As I found out that the drilling next door would take another 2 hours, I requested a free spa visit. The manager agreed. Off I went to the Spa for some relaxation & went for a swim in the pool. After a bit over 2 hours, I came back to the room, which was a now a tad cooler. Place to stay in Milan

Staff were superb. Food was excellent. Hotel was ok. Very way out from central Milan. Mini bus to take you to Metro, so reliant on that to get you around. Swimming pool/ gym was un-manned. Leaking roof into swimming pool.

nice hotel poor location.

Nice modern hotel clean good services.
In an industrial estate which is no good for going out.
Meals are expensive with no option to eat elsewhere.

Nice hotel close to Milan fair

A very nice hotel with a very useful shuttle service to and from the fair. Very comfortable rooms. Not very close to the centre, so definitely need to take a taxi.

Hotel is great value for money.

Lovely pool, kids spent a lot of time in it. restaurant good but not outstanding food, although service was efficient and friendly. breakfast lovely, staff attentive. rooms on the small side, but bathrooms modern and clean. location not central, ideally should have car as transport links poor.

The hotel is great - nice gym/pool, nice room, fantastic service. if this hotel is right for you depends on whether you can live with the location. it is out of time in an industrial area. The hotel has great service and mitigates the location disadvantage through excellent service - shuttle bus on request (drives all the time, 5 min to/from subway). The subway is around 12 min to town, but does not leave very frequently (i.e. not every 2-4 min, but rather every 12-15 or less outside of peak). Was happy with the choice - exactly as promised, but if I go back to Milan, I will probably stay in town. Great service though!

No nasty surprises, great level of service

Staff were very accommodating, spoke English and facilities were good. The rooms were of a nice design although some of the finishes looked a little tired. But the rooms were cleaned to a high standard and robe and slippers in the room. There was a free gym and swimming pool induced and can have the breakfast option or not. Breakfast was very good - nice selection. Nice cocktail bar. Good for a business trip or a short holiday.

Nice enough but it rough area.

While the room was nice enough and the staff friendly and helpful the area was horrible. Hard to find and they charge high rates for secure parking. You wouldn't dare leave your car on the street.

Not recommended!

The rooms is in bad condition, things are broken, rust in shower and missing parts.
The location is no so bad 15 minute walk from train station but the train is only one at hour.The hotel have free parking and some pubs around that are not so bad.

For a friend

I arranged this hotel for a friend and was disappointed to find out that the price of the room did not include tax and I couldn't call the hotel to pat the tax via CC. They insisted on cash only, this was a present for a friend and now she had to end up paying out of here pocket for the tax. Not a easy to do business with!

Great Hotel, Shuttle service to train station available and is very convenient, Nice pool. Shower doesnt have a shower curtain but has the half a glass window so the floor gets wet, but that didnt bother us.

My partner and I recently stayed at The Hub and I must say the one word that comes to mind is 'perfect'. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time and will hopefully be back very soon : )

Too Hot!

The hotel itself is very nice the lobby bar very happening my #1 problem with this particular hotel is it's service. It started with the room temperature after our 1st night stay. The temperature in the room wouldn't go below 26 degrees Celsius, when we called the front desk that's when we realized that they control the temperature with their computer and they said they would take care of it. That evening when we got back to our room still the same and when I called the front desk they said maintenance had gone home for the day so I asked them how that helps us and she had no answer. She finally asked if we would like to change rooms because her computer was showing that they had one available that had the temperature at 23 C. Its now midnight were changing our room which did show the temp at 23 C and even if we wanted we couldn't change that. I think it's freaky that they are the ones in charge of the temperature in the rooms and if you want it colder well lets just say your out of luck. I didn't mention that my brother in laws room also same problem. As for the front desk staff there were 4 from what I could tell and only one was fairly nice the rest were not so friendly. the hotel is completely out of the way but they do have a shuttle that will take you to the metro just one word of advice don't take the metro in rush hour it's a little confining to say the least.
