Our group enjoyed the one-night stay at Virginia Palace Hotel. Check-in was quick and easy. They got our room configurations correct and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
All of the staff we encountered (front desk staff at check-in and check-out and breakfast service staff) were very friendly and quick to assist.
We were disappointed to find that the in-house restaurant is closed on weekends as we were looking forward to eating at the hotel after more than 24 hours of travelling. However, the front desk attendant recommended a nearby restaurant that turned out to be excellent as well.

Do NOT stay at this hotel unless you have your own car. There is nothing good close by within easy walking distance. We stayed for 3 days and the hotel restaurant and laundry service was closed the whole time. The breakfast was basic. The train station is 3 kilometres away.
Then we had a dispute with a taxi driver when we were leaving. We asked the hotel to ring a taxi, they said yes, wait out the front. We waited and the taxi took about 15 mins. When the taxi arrived, he already had 33 euro on the meter! He said if he comes from far away, he starts the meter then. The man at the front desk should have known this problem. We had to argue with the taxi driver and the man at the desk spoke to him but did not help. I blame the taxi driver and the hotel, they should have known about this problem. We had to pay the taxi driver 30 euro to leave, otherwise he was going to call the police. The counter did not help their guests. Do NOT stay at this hotel unless you want to be very isolated and not helped by the staff, and i will never get a taxi in Italy again.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay whilst going to the Italian Formula1 Grand Prix The receptionists all could not have been more helpful and obliging They were excellent at sorting out Taxis for us with Guiseppe and Salvador’s who were fantastic drivers without whom would never have managed to get about The only thing I could fault the hotel for was that there were No yea/coffee making facilities in the rooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Virginia Palace Hotel. The rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, all staff were friendly, helpful and polite. There is secure and free car parking at the hotel. The huge shopping centre at Arese is just 6 minutes drive away and should not be missed. We were in Italy primarily for business, but found the hotel ideally located for sightseeing and travelling to the lakes on our recreational days.

We stays two nights to be near Malpensa airport. The locations is perfect only 25 minutes from Malpensa Airport.
We had time to visit Milan by train. The train station is only 5 minutes from the hotel. Also parking at the hotel is free and safe. Supermarket is 3 mini tea by car from the hotel. Rooms were very clean and the staff exceptionally courteous and helpful. We will stay at this hotel again!

I wish I had this hotel for my entire two-week trip. By far, the best of all hotels I stayed in. Very clean, great breakfast selection, and excellent staff. I have not a single bad thing to say about this amazing hotel.

This Hotel has the WORST Management/Owner ever. They are cheater, I booked 4 rooms 2 beds each, they charged me extra $20 for using the 2nd bed which is in my room. Comfy stay away from the bustle of Milan!
We stayed here for part of our honeymoon; one of the best hotels we stayed in! The bed was perfectly firm and warm, perfectly plush blankets warm cooler nights. The bathroom I had to figure out the swinging shower door, but most likely I never seen this outside of the USA. Very modern interior, wish we stayed here more nights! Great private garage , and distance is very close to the Iper La Grande huuuuuuge supermarket and mall. Will definitely want to stay here again.

Used as a stop over coming home from Tuscany. Ideal to stay if visiting the Alfa Romeo Museum as very near. Very clean and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was very quiet but food was good.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Italy to Frankfurt Germany.
The hotel is fairly new, so everything inside and outside of the hotel is nice and clean.
We booked the Single business room, which has a good size bathroom with a big shower (water pressure could be better), the room overall is modern decorated and had a king size bed. The only negative I can say about the room is, the toilet in the bathroom is to close to the sink, so when you sit on the toilet, the sink is somehow in your way. The room himself gets maybe a little bit small, when two travelers have more than two luggage.
The hotel is located outside of Milan, right of interstate A8/A9, and 30 minutes away from Malpensa Airport.
The area where the hotel is located is a more industrial area, so most of the Restaurants around the hotel close by 10:00 PM.
But there is one other nice attraction near the hotel.
10 minutes away from the hotel is a huge brand new mega shopping mall (regarding to the hotel staff the largest mall of this type in Europe). They just had the grand opening in April 2016, with over 200 shops, and a Walmart size grocery store, you really can max out your credit card :-)

Other that its location, it was a great stay. We had to walk 30min to and from the train station to Hotel everyday while we were there. It would be great if they have a shuttle service to and from the train station. If they can provide a free shuttle service to and from the train station, I would definitely go back.

Cozy stay at Virginia Palace
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Virginia Palace. The hotel is located in a residential area. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was great. The hotel is outside Milan. In fact, the closest metro is also not accessible by foot or bus. But despite this, we felt safe in the neighborhood and were able to drive our car to the metro. We parked at the underground parking (paid 2 euros for 3-4 hours) and took the train into city center (3 euros per person roundtrip). It was very convenient and we didn't have to worry about driving in city center. If we were to return to Milan, we would definitely stay here again. Also, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Visiting the Salone del Mobile Expo. This hotel had good reviews as the staff was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the restaurant staff were very accommodating. I will return again next year! They have a shuttle to and from the hotel to Fiera Expo during this show.

My friend and I drove from Naples to Milan for a 3 day shopping spree in Milan and Foxtown in Switzerland. I chose this hotel because of the cleanliness and friendliness review from hotels.com and trip advisor. They were correct! The hotel was very clean, the front desk guy, Maximilliano, helped us navigate our way to downtown Milan, which was a 30 minute train ride from Garbanate station. The train station was not easy to find but we had a GPS so no problem. There was free parking on the train station. Oh by the way, did I say I had a good breakfast! I will stay in this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

We were coming from Venice for an early morning flight and wanted somewhere close (but not too close) to Milan/Malpensa. The Virginia Palace is about 30 mins from the airport, so very convenient, but being a bit out of the airport, very economical.
It is brand new (early 2012) so everything is sparkling, clean and in perfect working order. Rooms are standard hotel layout. Neighborhood is quiet and beds comfortable, so you get a good sleep.
But even better than the lovely new hotel and the excellent rates were the fantastic staff. Friendly, helpful, charming, they all spoke English and went out of their way to offer hospitality. The buffet breakfast is included and it was great too.
