We stayed at this property for a wedding. This hotel is not close to any major museums or attractions. It’s about a 25 minute one way taxi ride to Florence. The taxi fare is very expensive, so you will need a lot of euros. Other option is to rent a car from the Florence airport. The property turns off the A/C during the winter months, so it was extremely hot in the room. The room was clean but you may see a bug or two if you open up the balcony doors. Breakfast was complimentary and free WiFi. Staff was overall nice but limited English.

Everything was quite nice about the property. We took a train from Rome to Florence. But it was almost impossible to get to the hotel from Florence. No train, no bus, Uber was non-existent, a taxi was 70 euros. So, if you are going here without a car, you need to rent one. Once we had a car, everything was great.

Perfectly located for touring Tuscany. Secure, free parking just off main highway. Very close to several restaurants and wineries. Rooms and hotel are modern and sophisticated, without being super pricey. The breakfast was superb with several daily options of pastries and breads, eggs, meat, cheese, etc. Visit the winery next door! Amazing!

Gem in the Tuscan countryside

This small hotel in the heart of Tuscany but close to Florence is the ideal place for a relaxing few days. The staff were pleasant and attentive and all spoke reasonable English. The grounds are lovely and the nearby village has good restaurants and fabulous views. There is a good sized pool (when the weather is good). The breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable and clean.

Great 3 night stay. Much better than it initially looks when getting off the highway. We had 3 women in a room and it was very comfortable and well maintained. Free bicycle usage was great. Clean and refreshing swimming pool. Very good included breakfast. I drove into town (a distance up the hill) and bought food at COOP. We used the nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool for lunch. We borrowed wine glasses, plates and cutlery. Very good restaurant next door for dinner. It also didn't look as good from the road, but the side facing gardens and hotel are very nice. There was a strange 3.50 euro charge to rent towels for pool, but maybe that is common in Italy?

The hotel is located very close to a lot of beautiful locations in the chianti region. We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. the rooms were very clean and hotel staff was polite and courteous. overall we had a good time. i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel for an overnight stay while travelling

It is an enjoyable hotel for a short stay while travelling. Easy to get to (straight next to the motorway exit) and a lovely restaurant just 20m away from it. I would recommend trying the restaurant as well as it was very good authentic Tuscan food - enjoy it!

Young couple, stayed there for 7 nights in June 2013. The hotel is in a strategic location near the Firenze-Siena main road. Staying close to a main road I believe saved us at least half an hour of driving every day compared to staying at one of the towns in the area. The location saves time especially at night since the small roads in the area are mostly unlit, so driving is naturally much slower. We visited Firenze, San Giminiano (both under 30 minutes from the hotel), Siena (about 35 minutes), Lucca (1 hour), many Chianti towns (starting from 5 minutes from the hotel), and Val d'Orcia (1.5 hours). Breakfast was fresh and varied, with breads, pastries, jam, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, granola, yogurt, juices, and fresh coffee. As other reviews noted, the staff is friendly and speaks English (not obvious in Italy), the hotel is very clean and well maintained, and it all just feels like a well-run hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Affordable with great customer service

This hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but bus stop is right across the street and entrance to highway was within a block. You can drive to San Gimigrano in 20-30 mins., and it is a must-see. Breakfast was amazing. Pool is gorgeous. Staff are fantastic! Only complaint is there doesn't appear to be any insulation between floors. We could hear everything in the room above ours, which was a little annoying.

Great cost benefit. Two problems, it is very hard to find the hotel through the GPS, it took a while and we had to ask a lot to find (in a very bad italian) the surrounds of the hotel has nothing at all but is close to chianti area if you have a car.

While the hotel staff are very nice, the location is bad, situated right on the highway exit, u absolutely need a car since the bus takes 1hour to get there while it's only 15 km away from Firenze. The view are nice considering the hills & vineyards and the pool but very cold in September. Would recommend only for 1 night on your way to somewhere. The rooms are small & u can practically hear somebody coughing on the other end.

Great hotel for family holidays

We loved our 12-night stay. It is 20km from Florence which is very convenient. The location is close to Tavarnelle, with lots of good restaurants and a supermarket. We divided our time between day trips and sightseeing and the pool. Our room was very comfortable, we had an extra bed for our daughter and there was more than enough space. We had a large balcony that was terrific for dining al fresco in the evenings. The pool was lovely with an outdoor bar terrace and very well maintained. Breakfasts were most generous with a laid back atmosphere and a very large selection of food for every taste. The real strength of this hotel lies in the staff who make you feel as if you are almost family! The manager Antonella is absolutely delightful, she has appointed the hotel stylishly and she exudes a warmth which is infectious to her staff. She has lots of excellent recommendations for local trips and where to eat, The reception will arrange bookings to any of the museums in Florence or Sienna, which allows you to chill and not have to plan too far ahead. We loved the towns south of Sienna and there are some great bargains to be had in the outlets north of Florence. Just ask at reception or chat with her over breakfast! We met a number of guests who come back regularly. One family has been coming every summer for the last 15 years! We also want to go back already…

Efficient staff and very clean hotel

The hotel is very well situated for easy access to the many wineries. The staff was always available to answer questions and to support our needs. The pool was welcomed after a long warm day and the room was comfortable. The staff went well above the expectations when we left our passports and paintings in the room safe. When called to tell them of our situation they packaged them up and had them sent by courier in a one day turn around to the next hotel we visited. I can't tell you how relieved we were to have them by noon the day after being sent. A huge \"thank you\" to the staff for their understanding of the situation and quick action in helping us out.

This is a nice hotel, very clean and the staff are nice enough. but please do not stay here if you wish to experience tuscani beauty, all you will see is a motorway and all you will hear is lorries and traffic, even when you are round the pool, also the pool space is small and could be quite dangerous for kids

Let me begin by saying I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff was friendlier. This is our 4th year in a row staying at this hotel and we are beginning to feel like family. Of course this is not a 5-star hotel, but the staff makes up for it by giving 5-star service. The hotel is 16 kilometers south of Florence and even though it's just off the highway, with all the shrubs and trees around the property, there is a feeling of seclusion. Parking is no problem here, and it's free. There are many good restaurants in the area, with one right next door. The pool, out back, is large and is surrounded by what feels like a garden of shrubs, trees and flowers. It almost feels like you are swimming in your own back yard. The hotel serves a comfortable breakfast with terrific service. I wish the showers were a bit larger, but they are okay. If you go here expecting 5-star facilities, you'll be dissapointed. The hotel is well kept, but it wasn't built to be a top facility. If you stay here and want to enjoy a quiet visit and appreciate the efforts of a fabulous staff, you'll want to come back again and again. The manager, Phillipo, is a true gentleman in every sense. His primary goal is the comfort of his guests. The owner of the property even works here each morning, at breakfast, serving various coffees to the guests. I don't write reviews, but I love this place so much, I want to take the time praise a place that truly caters to its guests.

The hotel is located within 25 min drive from the center of Florence, right by the exit from the highway. The only way to get to Florence seems to be by car. If you try finding this hotel, DO NOT TRUST YOUR GPS and get a map instead. GPS will bring you to ... nowhere, and about half-a-mile from the actual hotel location. There is a balcony where you can sit, weather permiitng. There is a designated parking lot, which might be full late at night. There is a pizzeria/restaurant 20 yards away. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good. The internet works.

It was difficult finding the hotel although probably should not have been as difficult as it was. Our GPS divice was not finding the address that we needed so we had to look for a tourist info center to figure out where we were going. The hotel was nice, cozy (aka small), and modern. Free internet access was awesome, breakfast was so so. Bathroom was very small but adequate. The restaraunt next store was very good, probably the best pizzas we had had up until that point. It is about an hour- 1.5 to Pisa and 15-20minutes to Florence.

A very nice place to return to after a long day of sight seeing.

The hotel is in a great location, right off a main highway, convenient to visiting many towns and sights. The pool is lovely and the breakfast spread is fantastic. The staff was very helpful to us, especially with directions, which can be rather challenging in Italy. The only slight drawback was our room was on the small side with no drawers to unpack fully; however, all the other hotels we stayed in were the same in this regard. Nearby Barbarino has the best restaurant we came across on our entire trip - tables on a huge terrace with gorgeous views of the Chianti countryside and fabulous, inexpensive food. We ate there three nights in a row!

Peaceful and Very Well Maintained

A very well maintained hotel set in a beautiful park, close to a winery. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you travel by car and would like to explore the countryside, this is a great location (20 km from Florence and 40 km from Siena, in the heart of the Chianti region and just off the Florence-Siena highway). The only downside: if you rely on public transportation, there is no railroad neaby and the bus service to Florence is not very frequent (although the bus stop is across the street from the hotel). Overall, good value for the money.

Location - just outside the Chianti region but the surrounding countryside is the most spectacular for the area (Val di Pesa's best kept secret). Though situated on the main superstrada between Florence and Siena don't let that put you off. It gives you quick access to other parts of Northern Tuscany yet you barely notice any traffic noise from the hotel. Lots of hill top towns and villages to explore (you'll need a car or you could hire a bike). Each bend in the many windy roads gives another wonderful vista of vineyards and olive trees. But you could use this as a base to explore the main towns of Northwern Tuscany and the SITA bus from Florence to Siena will drop you off or pick you up just outside the hotel. Hotel - is family run and is clean, well run and very friendly. The staff are all pleasant,helpful and hard working. The rooms are serviced every day. The pool is clean and provides welcome refreshment on a hot summers day. There is ample room for parking Although this is a 3 star hotel it deserves 4!! - highly recommended!!

El hotel está normal en la planta baja había bastante ruido, apenas hay separación en las terrazas, el desayuno escaso si se termina algo como el pan ya no traen más.
No pudimos cargar el coche porque dejan aparcar a coches de combustión.

190 euro per una camera matrimoniale semplicissima, pulita si ma senza un bidet nel bagno ad esempio. Colazione comune, soliti cornetti surgelati, solita macchinetta del caffè fai da te. 190 Euro per una sola notte senza alcun tipo di coccola da parte dell'Hotel non è accettabile. Piscina non ancora utilizzabile, temperature intorno ai 16 gradi di sera. Rapporto qualità-prezzo completamente sbilanciato.

Premesso che, avendo il mio impegno a Mercatale alle 6,30 di domenica mattina, sono arrivato a questo hotel scartando le soluzioni più vicine, mi ritengo tuttavia più che soddisfatto della scelta. Non mi è stato possibile usufruire della colazione di domenica, supplita comunque da un cestino più il caffè che mi sono preparato in camera grazie al bollitore. Luogo molto comodo da raggiungere, anche dalla superstrada. Abbiamo consumato la cena nel ristorante a fianco, indipendente dall'hotel, seguendo le indicazioni nella hall dell'hotel stesso.

Buona struttura \"di compromesso\" rinnovata di recente, a ridosso della superstrada Firenze-Siena, senza pero' esserne negativamente influenzata (la superstrada non si vede, ma si sente se si aprono le finestre di alcune camere). Carina la zona piscina anche se non molto grande. Ampio parcheggio gratuito. Colazione a buffet discreta ed inclusa nel prezzo del pernottamento. In breve, va bene come punto di partenza per escursioni nel Chianti e a Firenze. Se si vuole il resort immerso nella campagna toscana bisogna andare altrove.

Séjour parfait dans cet hôtel très bien situé.

Hôtel très agréable et très bien placé pour visiter la Toscane. Personnel extrêmement sympathique. Superbe petit déjeuner avec un accueil très souriant dès le matin. Les chambres ont été refaites avec goût. Elles disposent d'un balcon avec fauteuils. La piscine est très appréciable après une journée de visite. Bref excellent séjour.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem schönen Hotel. Man merkt das es ein Familienbetrieb ist. Jede/r gibt Ihr/Sein Bestes ohne aufdringlich zu werden. Zur Erkundung der Toskana hat das Hotel die optimal Lage. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Ottimo soggiorno!

L’albergo sembra appena ristrutturato.Letto comodo. Doccia rilassante. Camera pulita. Colazione abbondante con prodotti freschi. La piscina circondata della natura è un invito ad rilassarsi e, per qui come me viaggia in famiglia, fare giocare i bambini. Per me, l’unico difetto è stato il fono: attaccato nella parete del bagno scomodo e non funzionava molto bene. Ottima pozione!

Tornare dopo anni e ritrovare la stessa serenità

Fine settimana passato nella serenità e cortesia di questo albergo. Il rispetto delle regole sanitarie evidenzia la voglia di ricominciare e di far seriamente bene. L' albergo lo conoscevo e come al solito non ha deluso ma anzi in questi anni si è pure migliorato.

Mi è piaciuto la pulizia delle camere, la colazione, la gentilezza del personale. Non mi è piaciuto il fatto che si trovi vicino ad una strada molto trafficata, la piscina poco curata, lettini rotti, senza regole a qualsiasi ora del giorno, impossibile riposare se presenti bambini urlanti. 43 camere piene a fronte di 20 sdraio
