Borgo del Cabreo was our favorite place we stayed on our trip to Italy in March. Every detail of the Borgo was thoughtfully curated and is situated in the most beautiful setting in the Chianti region. The rooms and bathrooms were big. The king size bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious in the most idyllic setting. The city center of Florence was loud at night even in March, so coming here was very restorative to my soul. The sounds of nature, birds singing, the idyllic scenary, was a wonderful contrast to Florence. We had the most wonderful dinner and wine at their sister property Pietra del Cabreo. My kids and I would return to Italy just to stay here again.

This inn is ideal for the traveler seeking a beautiful hilltop location in the heart of Chianti Country. Breakfast was excellent and the sister hotel nearby has a wonderful restaurant as well. The town of Greve is at the bottom of the hill, and there are numerous excellent wineries close by. Highly recommend this for someone wanting the perfect Tuscan wine country experience.

Everything about our stay was incredible!!! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights last week. It was a very short drive to downtown Greve and easy access to so many vineyards. I cannot wait to stay here again! We were unexpectedly upgraded to the villa upon check in which was so spacious, clean and gorgeous. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed in! The grounds of the hotel were impecable and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We loved lounging by the pool area during our stay and the gorgeous views of the Tuscan hillsides. The breakfast on site was delicious with so many options. We especially loved the unlimited espresso and waters during our stay! We had dinner at the sister property up the street and it was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

We had been told by a good friend about Borgo that have stayed here on three separate occasions .We originally only had one day booked when just weeks before an additional two days became available. The room was specious on the second floor with a beautiful view. We swam every morning. The breakfast was spectacular and the staff was vary helpful and friendly.
We used this as our base to explore other small towns nearby before moving on to Pienza. We would use this hotel again as our base from Greve to venture out, do some cycling, the area is absolutely beautiful.

Spent 3 weeks in Italy this was by far our favourite stop - it was perfect but you need a car to get here as a taxi from Florence was expensive wish they offered a shuttle to town and their winery were stunning but it was costly to travel from the hotel. Don’t let that discourage you from visiting- it really was spectacular

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfect. Gemma and the staff were extremely generous and helpful. It was located on a hill, not near other hotels so felt totally exclusive and private. The room we were given had one of the most beautiful views we had seen- we had booked the Deluxe Double.
Breakfast was fantastic- classy, well laid-out, and a wonderful selection of food and drinks.
Every little detail was considered- from the 'honesty bar' which was helpful given the location, down to our restaurant bookings.
This is absolutely well worth the money. (Not really suitable for children though- definitely more of a couple's hotel).

This hotel is the perfect definition of a Toscan retreat, very calm and beautiful, the property is located walking distance from the main square, on a hill surrounded by the Vineyards. The view from our room was breathtaking. In general the hotel is well kept and tastefully decorated, the rooms are incredibly spacious and the staff is very friendly. Beautiful place up above Greve in Chianti in the hills of Chianti. The resort is well laid out and manicured perfectly. The pool and views are breathtaking. Well worth a visit. The only slight issue is that there is no restaurant but maybe that keeps it more private and personal.
