Everything about our stay here was incredible. The room was so spacious and the cleanest that I’ve seen yet in Italy. Gigi, the host, is AMAZING! He hand makes and serves the most incredible breakfast each morning that is so fresh and delicious. He genuinely wants to hear about your adventures and offers personalized recommendations as to things you should check out in the area.
Without a doubt, this was the best place we have stayed in our 2 weeks touring Italy. We will definitely be back and recommend everyone who travels this area to stay there.

Our experience here was above and beyond our expectations. Gigi, the owner, was extremely accommodating and friendly. Even before arrival, Gigi was in communication with us informing us of where our room was, where to park, and what to do when we arrived at the property. Gigi came shortly after we arrived to greet us, ask our breakfast preferences, and even recommended a restaurant for dinner (although if you have a chance I would try his). He was super friendly and even stayed to have a conversation with us despite it being his day off. The room was super clean and equipped with everything we needed for the night (however if you are traveling from an international country bring an adapter to charge electronics). The breakfast the next morning was fantastic and might be the best thing that we ate on the trip. This hotel might be the best experience we had in Italy and we can’t wait to come back one day!!!

Beautiful room with amazing views

The room was beautiful, very modern and clean. We took a bottle of wine on to the patio in the evening and just enjoyed the view, it’s breathtaking. There’s a lovely little pool to cool down in, perfect! The breakfast is freshly cooked for you and simply the best we’ve ever had.

Fabulous!

This place is perfect in every way! The rooms are set on a hill overlooking the sea and are peaceful and quiet. The little garden area is the perfect place to relax on a sun lounger with a glass of wine. The host, Gino, goes out of his way to make sure you are totally happy and provides the most amazing breakfast! His restaurant just down the road is pure heaven! We can’t wait to stay again...

Amazing exclusive serenity...

Gioni is one of the owner of this exquisite hotel and restaurants. He met us at the restaurant and escorted us to the exclusive and private villa little way across the road.
He was friendly and informative and catered to our needs. The next morning he made us a superp breakfast over look the amazing view of the Amalfi Coast. Gioni made us feel so special and made our trip one of the most memorable.

This stay made our vacation PERFECT!

Best decision we made staying here! Gigi was wonderful and made us feel so welcome. It was our first time in Italy and we felt like were were staying with family. Beautiful area and very nice breakfast layout overlooking the water. Rooms were clean and beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable. Free parking space as well which is a luxury in this area. Having a car or scooter is very handy and highly recommend it for this stay. Gigi and all other staff make your stay perfect, and have good knowledge regarding the area. Will definitely be back! The restaurant is also beautiful with amazing views.

Fantastic hotel with welcoming staff

Tenuta Solomita is ideally located for exploring the Amalfi coast and further afield to Pompei etc. The hotel is beautifully presented and well kept, with spacious grounds that have fantastic views out to sea and along the coast to Capri, Amalfi etc. The hotel is extremely peaceful and quiet. Although the hotel is beautiful in its own right, what made our holiday was how welcoming and friendly the staff were, Gi Gi goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, providing advice on what to see and where to go or making sure everything is ok. Gi Gi speaks excellent English and regularly chats and makes you feel welcome, all the while providing you with a rich breadth of local knowledge. Choosing this hotel was the best choice we made on our trip to Italy, we could not have asked for more and look forward to visiting again soon!

Hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast

What reads as Maoiri, is actually 6 km around on the coastline devoid of neighbours and noise. The 6 villa complex is modern and clean with views to the sea and a mountain range at your back. The owners restaurant is 600m up the road which is splendid in its current state, let alone location right upon the cliff face. A car is needed unless you are happy with the bus network which leaves from the restaurant, however a vehicle gives you access to different parts of the coastline at your convenience. A beautiful stay with Gigi the boss a fantastic host.

Cold weather, warm welcome

Stayed in January during exceptionally cold weather, so unable to take full advantage of the lovely gardens and local walks. A friendly welcome, and the owner was exceptionally helpful in telling us about local history and things to see. Peaceful rural location - we enjoyed watching the birds - with good secure parking, but easy access to the main road. Stunning views from the restaurant (along the road, short walk|) and the guesthouse garden.

Owners, staff, amenities and view: spectacular.

Luigi Ferrara, one of 3 owner brothers is a warm, friendly, interesting and generous person and personally took care of everything we needed. I don't know how he does it since he has a hundred things going on at the same time. The Tenuta overlooks the Amalfi harbour and the vista is even more breathtaking from the affiliated restaurant Il Faro di Capo D'Orso (located nearby). Your trip will not be complete without lunch or dinner there. Dinner especially is an experience you will never forget. The town of Maiori is minutes away by car and has everything you may need including beaches, shops, churches and eating spots. Buses and ferries are available to get you into town or to the nearby towns of Amalfi and Positano. Personal thanks to Gigi.

A unique hideaway with views to die for

Only six rooms that are air conditioned, modern, clean and comfortable with a great walk in shower plus a balcony from which to drink in the Amalfi sea view.
Breakfast is served on a garden terrace that also overlooks the bay - simply unique.
All the staff can't do enough to help, and most have good English.
Parking is safe and behind electric gates.
The terraced gardens have sun beds and a splash pool, but as no bar available - best to bring your own drinks in or use the refrigerated mini bar in the bedroom.
A two minute drive down the coast road brings you to the Michelin star restaurant for dinner and terrace for lunch owned by the same family. This building is also modern and beautifully designed and appointed

A unique spot on the eastern amalfi coast

I chose this hotel as a base to climb Monte Avvocata, little did I know it had an amazing restaurant on Capo d'Orso as well! The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help me enjoy my stay.

Great place to stay, we were one of the first customer last weekend, and it was just fantastic!!!! Nice, clean, minimalist and big room with amazing views over the sea. My fiance was sad we only book a single night here (last day before coming back to London). We´re coming back soon.

Highly recommended, Gino is a kind and great host! Don't forget to use this google map placeholder and/or Il Faro di Capo d'Orso.

La propiedad es pequeña pero acogedora. Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. Está un poco alejada de la ciudad pero no tuvimos problemas porque teníamos carro alquilado y hay donde parquear. Así nos pudimos mover tranquilamente a las diferentes ciudades alrededor. Gigi que es de los dueños fue muy amable y el desayuno estaba rico inclusive un día nos complació con huevos revueltos. En general todo muy bien.

Nuestra estancia fue de una noche pero nos uniese encantado que fuese por más.

La atención y dedicación de Gigi ha sido insuperable. Cada detalle, cada recomendación, ha logrado que nuestra estadía fuese única.

La habitación es sencilla pero posee todos lo necesario. Perfectamente ubicada la convierte en un oasis en la costa Amalfitana.

El desayuno se convirtió en lo más importante. Abundante, variado y nuevamente la atención en conjunto con la vista.

Gigi é sensacional. A propriedade remete a um filme, com casa na floresta (encosta), quartos confortáveis, café da manhã maravilhoso, com vista para o mar e para Maori.
Recomendo.
Obs.: Gigi tem um restaurante com estrela Michelin. Para os apreciadores de boa comida, fica bem perto da acomodação.

Io e mia moglie volevamo trascorrere la nostra mini luna di miele in costiera amalfitana e abbiamo deciso di soggiornare alla Tenuta Solomita.
Dato che risiediamo all'estero, abbiamo preso in largo anticipo contatto con il proprietario (Gigi) che si è reso SUBITO disponibile e ha risposto a tutte e dico TUTTE le nostre domande.
All'arrivo siamo stati accolti con un sorriso a 32 denti ed una gentilezza unica.
Il posto è MAGICO e fare colazione (dire abbondante sarebbe riduttivo) con una vista del genere sulla costiera è davvero uno SPETTACOLO....sembra di stare in Paradiso.
La camera era bellissima, pulitissima, profumatissima e dotata di ogni confort.
Gigi poi è un capitolo a parte.
Persona bellissima e non basterebbero 1000 parole per descrivere con quanto amore, gentilezza e cura ci ha trattato nei giorni trascorsi li (non volevamo piu' tornare a casa).
È stato SEMPRE SEMPRE SEMPRE disponibile in tutto e per tutto (dai consigli su dove cenare fino alle chiacchierate fatte insieme davanti un caffe' come se fossimo amici di sempre).
Insomma è stata un esperienza INDIMENTICABILE.
CI SIAMO SENTITI A CASA!
In un unica parola: PARADISIACO!
Speriamo vivamente di tornarci appena possibile.

Very pleasant stay and the owner is a lovely guy who does his best to make you feel comfortably. Only two minuses we found in our overall very nice stay. First the hotel is not close to anything so you need a car to visit any touristic place in Amalfi coast. Secondly the complex lacked elevator and it was a bit long way from the parking place to the rooms with many stairs involved.
Other than that amazing views from the garden/breakfast area (unfortunately not from the rooms though) and the breakfast was a 10/10 with local products and amazing tastes. We definitely suggest this place for anyone who wants to stay away of the fuzz of amalfi coast and relax but also stay within short driving distance. Car is needed though undoubtedly.

오후 5시경 도착 하였다 .
처음에는 입구 문은 잠겨있고 아무도 없어 당황 하였는데 바우처를 보니 오후 에는 체크인을 근처 식당에서 한다 식당도 같은 집이다.

내부는 아주 깨끗하게 정리 되었고 최근에 수리를 하였는지 전반적으로 청결 상태가 아주 좋다.
피곤하여 일찍 잤는데 기회가 되면 여기서 운영하는 근처 식당에서 저녁을 하면 좋을것 같다.
압권은 아침 이다.
아침 식사는 주인 양반이 직접 cook 을 하여 serve 하는데 거의 호텔 수준이다.
그리고 장소는 야외 바다가 내려다 보이는 풀장 아래이다.
풀코스로 내오는데 빵은 금방 굽고 과일 쥬스도 바로 갈아 만들어 서브 한다.
방이 총6개 이니 가능 하다.
멋진 풀장도 있고 적극 추천한다.

and can see sea from balcony at any room.
there are sweaming pool with sea chairs.

specially i surprised at their serve brakfast because they serve it to each guest from owner.
all bread is makes warm on there and maed juice with orange after order.
it was incredible becasue it looks likes honeymoon trip.
My wife said me how thye makes money from this brakfast because i think breakfast is almost similar to room charge.
i recommend this hotel to any person strongly.

Excelente atención y coordialidad de Gigi, su dueño. Siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos
a lograr la mejor experiencia. El restaurante que posee a 200 metros tiene un entorno excelente. El notó que habíamos reservado un día de más y nos ayudó a que nos lo reembolsaran. Muy recomendable para quienes no quieren estar en medio del ruido de la ciudad (Maiori)pero poder acceder a ella en pocos minutos.

L' hotel non ha una struttura tradizionale. Fa riferimento al ristorante Capo d' Orso, un locale elegante con cuoco stellato, dove, tra l' altro, oltre al check-in e check-out, si fa colazione. L' hotel vero e proprio e' situato a circa 200mt dal ristorante ed e' composto da una struttura di 6 stanze. E' dotata di parcheggio privato a cui si accede da un cancello sulla statale attivato da un telecomando dato in dotazione. In pratica sembra di essere ospiti di una tranquilla villa padronale sulla costiera amalfitana. La pulizia della camera e' stata impeccabile, cosi' come e' stata impeccabile, gentile e cordiale l'accoglienza.

Ottima accoglienza e bellissima la posizione per il notevole paesaggio e strategica per visitare la costiera amalfitana, Cetara, Vietri, Amalfi. Posto silenzioso e all'interno di un cortile ben curato. Apprezzabile anche in inverno.
