Lovely stay in this apart-hotel. Clean well equipped rooms with great access to the tram network, giving access to Athens & Piraeus in about 40 minutes. Nearby supermarket and taverna gave easy eating options. Will definitely use again.

the property is very noisy especially if you have your room windows and balcony facing the marina with no double glaze on the windows so we had to sleep with earplugs and I believe the owner is aware about it as they provided it. property has free parking and tram stop just across the road which was a plus. unfortunately staff didn't go far and beyond our expectations, even room cleaning needs to be asked for, wouldn't return

Fridge didnt work, shower hose blew up and couldnt get a proper shower. Manager let us use another room for shower only. Bewarey of this hotel a lot of things are old and out dated

Perfect sized apartment for our family of 4.

Pros: Large living room, equipped kitchen, huge balcony, 1 1/2 bathrooms, proximity to tram, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF

Cons: Road noise, but the triple paned glass blocked out 99% of the sound. Apartment needed some modernizing but no surprises as that was stated in all the reviews.

We stayed twice here, 2 nights in a basic apartment before our sailing trip and 1 night afterwards in a premium apartment. The location is great for the marina and I’d pay the extra for a premium apartment as the basic one is very basic! The premium apartment was much more tastily decorated, had better quality furniture and bed linen and a coffee machine! Both apartments were clean. The concierge and check in was great, we could leave our luggage until the boat was ready and similarly we could leave luggage until our rooms were ready when we came off the boat. On our last stay our room was ready early so we could check in straight away and had an upgrade to full sea view. The downside is the road outside is like a 3 lane motorway and is so noisy 24/7. The tram and bus stops are opposite too but that does make it handy for catching the local transport into Athens or the airport. You have to cross the busy highway to get over to the marina. The double glazing in the basic apartment does nothing to block the noise but the quadruple glazing in the bedroom in the premium apartment did make a difference to the noise levels. Ear plugs are provided though we didn’t use them. Would stay again if using the marina but book the premium.

The property is near a few good beach locations, near the tram station, great view of the marina and good value for money.
However the standard room was below standard for any hotel, l could see it had some updating but still way below standard for any hotel, for example patio door didnt lock, curtains hanging off, and just very depressing..
The premium rooms a little nicer decor but still below standards, quality, fittings etc..

I wouldn't stay again unfortunately but once updated this could be a great hotel in great location.

Clean, spacious accommodation near the beaches and not far from the center of Athens. The equipment of the apartment is not the latest, but it is completely sufficient. The noise from the street was acceptable, as there are special glasses in the bedrooms. We liked it, thank you to the nice staff.

Apartment was great with 2 bedrooms and 4 twin beds. Hard to find place for 4 that isnt a pull out couch.

Wonderful restaurant half a block down the street. Good food, prices and service.

Close to trams to go into Athens down to Glyfatha.
Beach was 10 minutes away walking distance or you could drive there or take the tram.
Bed mattresses need to be replaced, could feel springs. Decor is dated, otherwise it was very suitable for our needs.

Super nice apartment and huge balcony that gave a nice little view of the Marina and a glorious sunset. The tram on the other side of the road gets you directly to Syntagma Square. Taverna Vasillis up the block was great and there's a beat snack bar around the corner for all your corner and quick bite needs. Nisi a quick walk away was also great eating. I'd stay again

Really loud noisy room. Earplugs are required (you can find them near the bed). Room is clean, but you’ll need to cook your breakfast or go somewhere to have it. Showers are ok, toilet could flush better. No complimentary water. Fridge is medium size, but that’s more than enough. Staff is really great here. I’m not sure I would stay here again because of all the noise and bad pillows

Hotel apartment was adequate for our stay for 3 days but felt the road noise was extremely loud during the day and nigh so we're not able to get enough sleep. Bring ear plugs to lessen the noise. Beds felt uncomfortable to get a good night's sleep but we managed. Facilities are good with a cooker, kettle and nice decorative pieces in the apartment. Bus and trams service on the door step which was handy.

Very loud street noise with little sound proofing. No A/C, even though it was listed as a feature. We were staying during a heat wave. However, when requesting the A/C be turned on, the staff said that the system was automatically controlled and the set point temperature had not been reached. They recommended we open a window at night to let in “cool” air. Unacceptable!
If you want a to sleep at night at a reasonable ambient temperature, then avoid this property at all cost.

The picture showing the view is factually correct, but no mention is made of the high pitch traffic just below the window and between the seashore. High volume noise making the opening of any windows impossible which makes the apartment uncomfortable due to the high heat as a result of air conditioning becoming operational only as of 6:00 pm. Insufficient.
All in all barely acceptable comfort. Front desk and room cleaning very good.

The Marina Alimos Apartments are the perfect place to stay when your are in Alimos. The location is great and the size of the apartments - ours had 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and kitchen - more than make up for the slightly dated decor/furniture. We have stayed in other hotels in the area and the Apartments are our favorite by far!

The space of the Apartments, along with the long verandas, make it the perfect respite after a fun day out in Alimos or Athens. You can whip up a Nescafe Frappe in the kitchen and sip your coffee outside and enjoy the views of the Marina and the sea.

I honestly can't understand the negative reviews that I have seen. Never once did the noise from the street bother us. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, doing everything possible to make our stay pleasant and relaxing.

Also worth mentioning is the SNACKBeat coffee shop, located just around the corner. You can get your morning coffee and cheese pie and return to enjoy it in the comfort of your own apartment.

For value and space, Marina Alimos Hotel Apartments is the place!

Decent enough but with things to consider

The room/apartment itself is tidy with a good amount of space, albeit a little dated. It would be good size for a family. The main downside of this apartment is that it is on a very busy dual carriageway and the noise is loud; They provide earplugs in the rooms so that should give an impression of how loud it can be. I slept fine as I am used to this level of noise, but my girlfriend was unable to sleep well during our stay because of the noise, even using the earplugs. The apartment is also relatively far from the centre of Athens and so it can take a good amount of time to get to the sights, although it does have good tram links that allow you to connect with buses and metro elsewhere in the city. It is near to the marina and a beach, although you have to cross the main road and go through some relatively unglamorous parts to reach them they are pleasant enough when you do. A bus from the airport also stops quite near to the apartment which is useful and the area overall felt safe to walk around, which is not true of all areas of the city especially just north of the centre. There are a number of useful services nearby, such a minimarket across the street, and the hotel also provided a handy sheet with information on local amenities and tips about the equipment in the room, such as AC controls. Overall, the room was fine and our stay decent enough, but the downsides of being far from the city centre and dealing with the busy road are worth taking into consideration.

Very old building not in a good condition. It is located in a very nice area close to downtown of Athens. The noise at the front apartments is very disturbing. The people that work there are very friendly and professional!

It’s great location you can anywhere you want from the hotel. The bus and train station are within walking distance the beach for kids is only one train station stop from you. Bus 96 from the airport drops you off in front of the hotel and when you are ready to go back to the airport cross the street jump on the bus and it will talk you back one bus (96 bus number) make sure to buy 3 or 5 day Transporation ticket so you can go around the town with bus and train.

The location was great, a very easy tram line directly into the centre of Athens and the apartment was large, clean and spacious. Secure parking was a bonus. The staff were really lovely and helpful too. The road outside was quite noisy but we woudl certinaly stay here again in Athens.

Good building that has seen better days

This is a relatively modern, 1970's?, concrete building however it is located on the very busy 6 lane regional highway. The building's windows do not keep the noise out of the apartment. The units are air conditioned however it is an old system and is not operated until the weather gets hot so it was quite uncomfortable at night, especially on the weekend. The road noise only dies down around 2:00 in the morning and starts up again at 5:00. Until the windows are refurbished they do not keep out the noise even when they are closed, I would not recommend staying in this hotel.
