Very cute, clean hotel, nice location. Minutes from Metro, easy walk to some landmarks.

Front desk staff was very nice.

Awful bathroom design with a weird platform for the sink that I fell off of and sprained my foot/several toes.

The elevator fits into 2 people but it's so cute.

We had an amazing stay! It was my mothers first time in Paris. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for shopping and great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the years.
This time my room was on the 5th floor but lift only reached the 4th...then stairs!
No telephone in room..so no wake.up calls.
Kettle with 2 coffees and 2 mint teas...no milk and regrigerator not plugged in.
No nearby power socket for kettle...one at opposite side of room.
So very very expensive for a 2☆ hotel

Most of the facilities of the room are either worn out or old. They need to be upgraded or replaced. We needed to change room after our first night because of no toilet water. We needed to moved to another room all by ourselves on 27 Sept morning. Also I felt very unhappy that they downgraded our room without telling us in advance. But, to be fair, most of the staffs are nice and helpful.

A charming clean and hotel in a hot tourist area

We found the staff very polite and the facility very clean. It is small as typical of old Europe but charming. The AC and free WiFi are big perks. The room policy reflects their commitment to eco-friendliness without causing inconvenience or discomfort. We especially liked the 2-twin bed options, so that both people could sleep very well.
The location was also perfect, close to the Monoprix mini-market with everything you might need while traveling, including prepackaged food, water. There are many eateries in every direction within a couple minutes walk. The closest laundromat is within a 3-minute walk and opens late. There was only 1 small flaw: the concierge did not automatically offer us the complimentary bottle of water on checking in. Only when we actually read the rule sheet in the room while bored in the evening that we saw that perk. They should just offier it without us having to ask. We missed out.

AMERICANS - Do not stay here. I travel to Europe (and Paris, specifically) and had to book a hotel last minute. I was excited to be in my favorite city, after exploring and coming back to the hotel, they gave me a key to SOMEONE else's room, then denied it. It was inconvenient, incredibly invasive and unsafe for the other guests. Once sent to the room that was reserved for myself, there was blood on the sheets, with a quick layover and exhausted I slept in the adjacent twin bed, when complaining they denied it even though I have picture proof of two rooms and the dirtiness. The most disappointing that EXPEDIA provided no support even though I use them for booking for another level of safety. Travelers be aware.

I didn’t spend much time in the hotel, but the time that I was at the hotel the staff was very friendly. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. They helped me call a taxi and find direction. I would definitely stay here again. It is also very close to the main avenue and the Arc de triumph. I enjoyed my experience here!

Don’t stay at this hotel it feels like you’re staying with your parents.
Every time you leave your room you need to give them your room key. It’s the most annoying thing ever. You have to wait from someone to be in the front desk to give them your key , when you come back you have to wait until someone is there to get your room key back.
If you have Guest or someone hanging out with you they are not allowed after 6 I understand this to a certain extent. But making you hang out in the lobby instead of your room after 6 is insane to me.
They have so many other rules
My bathroom was a complete mess. The door knob was holding on by a thread. A weird TV with a red light on. When I asked how do I turn it on if it works they looked at me not knowing what I was talking about. Mind you this tv in directly in the shower so if it’s recording you it’s sees everything.
NO AC!! So you better hope it’s not a hot day.
Location is pretty good.
Breakfast is a no.
I’ll rather spend a couple hundred more euros on a different hotel with better service and amenities.

Cleaning lady removed a charger I had borrowed from the receptionist since her opinion was that it did not belong in my room, a bit of a problem since it was late and we were travelling the next morning with no battery on my phone. So… it was greatly located but I would choose a different place next time.

No air conditioning, we slept with windows open. Its located in a busy road across the street from businesses that appeared to open at night. Possibly clubs, didn’t see a sign. Heavy traffic, loud noises and people talking, arguing outside till 6 in the morning. They make you leave your keys when you left. Traveling from the USA not comfortable leaving personal items, passports and important documents behind. Some staff very unprofessional and rude.

Check in staff was rude and put us in an attic room that was totally unacceptable with smelly carpets that need to be replaced. The room was sub standard and definitely did not live up to the pictures posted online. The elevator only went up to the 4th floor and we had to bring our luggage up narrow steps that had toilet paper on one of the stairs. We checked out immediately as this hotel struck us as a real dive. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone from our experience. The desk clerk wanted our keys whenever we left the property. We ended up renting a room at another close by hotel for pretty much the same price that comparatively speaking, was spacious.

Front desk was warm and hospitable. Hotel was just 5 min walk to Champs Elysees. As we came, we were given their newly renovated room which has a connection to their patio. Room was clean however, ref wasnt working, aircon was off since its winter, internet is poor and doesnt have access to the room. On our 3rd day, our room wasnt clean and we have to request it again. We waited til 6pm and thats the time hey called if we still want it to be clean and we declined cos it was too late. Breakfast has limited variety to choose as well.

Location was great. Front desk staff was very helpful with metro and directions. The small lift only held one person and 1 piece of luggage. Had to turn in key when leaving. Safe never worked even after telling them. Lock broke one day and it took an hour befote they got us in the room. Worst thing was the bathroom. It was on 2 levels and 2 of us fell when turning around. I fell on my ribs and knee and have bruises on both. Luckily nothing btoke. Shower head leaked and the drain in shower didn't work. Took an hour to drain.

We had a few days as a stopover in Paris after a Mediterranean cruise and self drive tour around northern Italy and we stayed at the Élysées Hotel... it is a small hotel with a cute two person lift .. surely from Napoleon times !!!! The room was large by comparison to a lot of European hotels, location was great , just off the Champs Élysées ... with lots of bars and restaurants handy... and an easy walk to most of the popular sights .. priced well for location and comfort.

Dear Hotels.com General Manager and the Elysees Hotel Manager,

The Elysees Hotel in Paris does not meet the basic standards of a clean and good hotel.
We have found 4 problems with the hotel last night please see the attached 4 photos:

1. the Drapes are damaged in the room
2. The Air Conditioning is broken
3. There is mold in the bathroom
4. The comforter has a cigarette burn

We demand a full refund and will not stay in the Elysees hotel tonight.

The staff were very friendly - the one guy lent me his plug adapter as I had forgotten mine. Another cracked some jokes when I arrived at 8am for check-in after an overnight flight and managed to find me a room so I could check-in right away. Like any place in downtown Paris, the building is old. They have one of those really old elevators I have only seen in old movies, which was charming. I may have been biased because I was attending a conference at the nearby Marriott Champs-Elysees, which is like double the price this place was. Of course, for that price, the Marriott combines a beautiful old building with a very beautiful, modern interior. The Hotel Elysees looks a bit dated in the lobby and stairwell. However, the room itself was quite nice. It has a certain charm since it matches with the old building.

Nice hotel, great location

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom had ample space. There was some noise from the outside but it was muffled by the windows and drapes enough that it wasn't bothersome. Location is top-notch within walking distance of two metro stations and the Champs. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Great stay.
