The hot tub was out of order, and this was one of the main reasons I booked at this hotel. It would be great if the website could indicate when amenities that are promised are not available. Additionally, the hotel reception was not really friendly. The lady who checked me in seemed annoyed. She wasn't rude, but not very welcoming. I called the hotel desk later to request a blanket for the pull-out bed, since there was not one provided in the room. I had to call three times before anyone picked up and then when she answered, she said please hold. I held for several minutes before hanging up. We never got the blanket. Only one elevator was working. I did not try the breakfast or bar and grill, so no comments on that, other than the seating area looked nice. The room was clean, but the wifi signal was weak and kicked me offline or out of the show I was watching.

Rooms were fine. Was told our room was on floor with construction but wouldn't affect us. We walked by workers sanding drywall with masks. It irritated our eyes and we had dust on our clothes and feet. There was no carts to take our luggage in the morning which meant three trips through the dust. Under no circumstances should we have been subjected to those conditions. I want a refund of my money. Totally unacceptable. The service desk was polite. The rooms were good on a positive note. Unfortunately we weren't notified of the level of construction going on on our floor. We were woken during the early mornings by the construction on the other wing of the same floor. We were not told that our carpet would be a mess.

The AC in our unit was very loud. They have a fridge in our unit that is enclosed in a cabinet that is making it sound like it is overheating. The shower had terrible water pressure. The drain didn't work. It was rather disappointing. We found all that stuff after traveling; we're kind of tired. We found most of it that morning or overnight. We tried to talk to the manager; nobody was there so we got to leave a note and I haven't been contacted yet.

The pool was closed when we arrived but we were told it would be open that evening. About 45 mins later we were told the pool would not be available to use at all. The ice machine on our floor did not work, there were no vending machines in the hotel.

This place was great. The staff was so friendly, and they made the best omelets and breakfast. I truly felt right at home. We were traveling from Northern California to move my daughter out of her dorm in Mississippi and made a pit stop in Texarkana so we could visit our grandmother the next morning in Pine Bluff. The female staff did not accommodate us on our room. It was cold and I had a 80 year old woman with me. I did not get the handicap bathroom that I payed for. I received a hearing accessible room. I was highly disappointed and we’ll not be staying here again when I visit Texarkana.
P.s. Your new male staff was absolutely wonderful and has great customer service skills.

There was rust and mold in the bathroom. The front do staff appeared upset very unfriendly. When asked for a crib they said it was no longer offered, yet the facility advertises crib. They placed me on the 3rd floor where they were providing maintenance to 5 rooms. I will definitely not be staying here again.

I found a bed bug when I woke up in the morning. Told the third shift girl. She gave me cards of the higher ups that were supposed to get a hold of me but never did. The carpet on the first floor is a trip hazzard. Crap breakfast with is not free.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. We had our dog and he enjoyed the bed 😬
The bed was great and so were the pillows. The hotel is renovating so it was a little dusty on our floor. The room had just been re opened so there were still glitches in the room. The most significant was no water pressure in the shower. All in all a good choice while in Texarkana

Overall we enjoyed our two night stay. The hotel is very nice. Some things that weren’t so great were:
1. Telephone didn’t work
2. No water pressure in the shower. Really bad
3. Air conditioner was not working properly. We had it at 70 but it would stay off for long periods and the room would get hot before it turned back on
The room was just renovated so this could be the reason for the issues

Bed was comfy. Pool was small. Closed for maintenance hot tub. Bar was nice. Questionably clean floors and bed frames between mattress and frame. Kind of icky. Doing construction so hoping our room would be updated soon cause it was older, smelled funky, and the toilet flushed SO slow. We had two rooms and ended up just using the toilet in the other room.

Hotels.com did not update my itinerary with the hotel. When I went to check in to my hotel they had me as a no call no show from the previous day, that I had cancelled a week prior. Therefore, I had no hotel and due to a large tournament in the area there were not available hotels. Thankfully the manager helped me outside of Hotels.com.

Unique was cleaning woman opening the door at 9 when checkout is at 12. And also my wife had to get out in the rain due to staff parking their cars under the covered entrance, and they left their cars parked their for hours. Not a one of them were friendly, just smug. I stayed there due to the good rating, it is priced twice what it should be. Ps, wipe down the wore out tables, they had food stains .

The bathrooms could use a good deep clean - the door trims can use a good wipe down and the shower stall had some mold build up that could use a full steam clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is non existent. Option to get continental breakfast for $10 felt like a ripoff. The complimentary tea option -water was not hot but might have been sitting there for few hours.
