Staff was good. 2 Hair dryer’s not working, 1 shower drain very slow, 1 bedroom had a very bad smell in the bathroom (sewer), 1 bathroom sink had little water pressure, not enough shampoo, had to change rooms because one A/C unit wasn’t functioning. Jacuzzi wasn’t heated, very weak jets…

The room is nice; but that's about what this place could offer.
There was a weird walk in closet/storage in my room.
Bathroom is dated and there's no body wash, shampoo and lotion.
No microwave and no coffee.
For $50 USD per night, especially in the Philippines, you should be getting bang for your buck.
I'm also awakened by screaming kids.

The hotel is on the edge of Korea town and within 5 minute walk of most needed items, food etc. The hotel is older but completely well taken care of and the staff are friendly and helpful. A good spot for a few days or launching to the next adventure from Clark airport.

Shower doesn't have its own glass door which makes the toilet place all wet when you take a shower. When I arrived all windows in the room were unlocked so if I didn't checked them before sleeping I didn't know what would happen to me. It was an unsafe place. The staffs working were not as good as what I was expecting they should be. At 9pm onwards there was a Chinese man shouting in the pool. He was very noisy. And my room was just right in front of the pool. It was very annoying. All in all, it's not a good please to have a peace of mind and rest. Not at all.

Very quiet location close enough to everything. Nice atmosphere. Only thing on a negative note was the pool wasn’t available for use, under maintenance during my stay, which I wish I would have known before booking. Overall good place, if I come to Angeles City again I will stay here.

The pool showed a small sign stating missing tiles. My son had a deep cut on his foot because of it. It should have been repaired rather than just showing a small sign. Lots of small ants in the room and it needed a deep clean and upgrading. The water barely ran in the bathroom sink, for example

It was my sister's birthday and so I booked a staycation near the venue for the Aurora festival. They told me that the guard that has been with the property for 2 years was really rude to my dad. He was on his phone and wouldn't answer them about a parking question. My sister even overheard him say that since they were the ones who need something, they should be the one to come up to him. He was the security guard! He should attend to the guests who are parking but instead he shouted at them and insisted that my dad was on the wrong. 3 stars for service and staff because the other hotel staff were great. Minus 2 is for the security guard on April 7 at 1am after day 1 of Aurora festival. It was supposed to be a stress-free weekend but the incident ruined the experience.

Staffs are very friendly. Very clean and affordable. Only one complaints are; (1) there were bed bugs but when called the front desk they came and sprayed our beds with Lysol. (2) you can here the fighter jets very loud flying by so are the planes. (3) they need some update to the rooms since it’s all dated. Overall stay for one night with my family, it was good.

The pictures looked good but I could hear the guests in the next room all night and had to kill a couple very healthy roaches. The bed was comfortable but overall it was a disappointing stay. The pool looked nice but I didn’t use it so I have no idea if it was clean.

One night rest for the family

I can say that it was a good overnight stay for my family. The room was clean and linens were smelling good including the beddings and pillows. The food was wonderful. The missing items were slippers, no newspaper which i requested. The hair dryer/blower was defective/not working. No free coffee and sugar, there were three teas but no sugar. Tv set could not be used, no channel.

Hotel is located in a good area, plenty of restaurant options, nightlife, and close to Clark base. It has onsite cafe and massage, both of which are great and the staff is very helpful. The room itself is comfortable, although a little dated it was clean and had a good selection of TV channels.

Christmas Stay at the Prism

Stayed multiple times at the Prism. Really like the staff and fundamentally like the actual hotel which is why I re-booked, despite having a couple of concerns pre-booking.

Unfortunately they were realised, so unsure if i will re-book again. Being an international traveler and having traveled around much of the Phillipines. There are two areas the hotel in my humble opinion need to address;
1. Install decent internet connection that has enough bandwidth and is stable enough for an modern hotel catering for international travelers
2. Hire a cook and provide a better breakfast menu in line with similar hotels in Angeles. The menu has not changed in 8yrs and really is not that great

They should also adopt a late night noise policy. Really not good enough for guests having to put up with loud conversations and small but noisy get-to-gethers outside their room at 1.00/2.00 am in the morning. I think midnight is acceptable thereafter security need to adopt a noise policy in consideration of other guests

Well first of all, calling this a family friendly hotel is a bit of a stretch. I mean seeing the Korean guys bringing their escorts to and from the hotel and lounging by the pool with them before going for their encounters while my son and I are in the pool kinda shoots that \"Family Friendly\" label in the foot. But in all honesty this hotel is just outside the real decadent areas so in that sense it is an Oasis. Friendly service, very nice clean rooms. This hotel does try to accomodate. Our room, supposedly non-smoking, greeted us like a punch in the face of cigarette and cigar smoke but the staff quickly gave us another room that was quite pleasing. Great pool and pool area, reasonable food menu with good prices and room service. They did ask if we wanted our room cleaned, I said yes, wasn't done, but they did replace our towels when asked. Note: When I am in a hotel...of course I want my room cleaned, don't ask.If I don't, I'll put out the do not disturb sign. All in all, good value, nice hotel, friendly service, just wouldn't plan any family stays here. lol!

Prism Hotel keeps trying to improve their service.

My visits to Prism hotel keep getting better and better.
First time I made a comment about no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The next time, I have Wi-Fi in my, good Wi-Fi connection.
Another time I made a comment about having an extra trash bag in the kitchenette area. On my next visit, there was one there.

AVOID! No adult leadership on site = no sleep!

NOT A HOTEL FOR ADULTS. Imagine a hotel WITH NO ON SITE MANAGEMENT! THIS IS MY 3RD REVIEW OF Prism. Aug 2016 5 stars; last week 4 stars, this week two stars. See the photos of the calm pool area. Daytimes yes; NIGHTS NO! 11DEC17 11 PM the pool area was almost set on fire by low height fire works. Americans, Koreans we all fly to balconies SHOCKED by the noise/explosion/flashes. Night crew, all 19-22 yrs old and some young Filipino guests laughing so loud about fireworks (that made windows shake). This hotel has no leadership;sans a 8-9 pm walk-though from possible manager/owner (hard to tell-looks/greets no one)! On 9 DEC17 poolside had chairs and tables pushed together getting drunk till 1 AM, so loud none of poolside rooms slept. So if you are a guest that is rude/slams room doors/shouts across pool all night, mere meters from sleeping(?) guests) then THIS is your dream hotel. Wake up (yes wake up) is 7 AM when poolside speakers/music are turned on. But if you came to relax; and/or sleep DON'T stay at Prism.

Here for work trip, great staff - Room was well sized, ok breakfast included however butter was a hard block and not able to be spread on bread. Shower head was not great and I manually changed the shower system box settings to allow warm water as it was only cold. Room was cleaned every second day, first time it was cleaned the complimentary soap was taken. No coffee in room, has tea bags. Good snacks available from minibar - fantastic priced property though for what it was. Thanks for the stay.

Quiet small hotel off Don Juico Rd near Friendship Ave. Plenty of Korean and Chinese restaurants just around a corner in Don Juico. Our room was close to entry and there were plenty of noise in the evening and early morning from passers by and cleaners. Basic but comfy room, shower was barely working, shower head faulty. Very basic breakfast but ok for the price. Pool seemed clean but we haven't used it. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Too expensive for the services and lodging.

Pros:
- Nice place
- Good ambiance
- Nice and pretty staff, knows good english, always wearing a smile
- Not crowded
- Well painted facade and amenities

Cons
- Wifi is terrible, unreliable, we even can't use it
- Noisy because of planes (poor soundproofing)
- Air conditioning is worst. Room is too hot
- Lobby sofa is itchy, even gave us rashes
- Free breakfast is not worthy at all
- Pool is a bit dirty
- Smelly towels

I'm a frequent traveler. I book hotels often and I suggest before choosing this hotel, check other hotels if you can afford.

My first all-5-star rating in 2016 (that's 17 hotels). WOW, yes its a m-i-le away from entertainment district (4 minutes by any vehicle, on same road btw) but worth it! I booked one night-stayed 3. Staff jumps to please, even first room, air con crashed- I get new room and the workers are removing that air con minutes later. 24 unites surrounding a decent pool. Staffer Ms. Mai is a gem. Check-in a breeze (check-out less so) but its really great small hotel. ps. best bacon in PI ;-)

It was a pretty hotel on the outside- the pool was nice and the room was comfortable. However, the WIFI didn't work anywhere, they didn't clean the room or take last night room service plates from the room and as for free breakfast, they charged if you wanted two cups of coffee and I refused to consume the ham (or whatever it was). All in all, I was not impressed. But the staff was so kind and helpful.

The hotel is fairly new, but starting to look old. I stayed for 12 nights with my girlfriend, and every day the staff did their best to disappoint us. There are no facecloths in the rooms, wifi is very unreliable, and at most times unavailable. The center courtyard is pleasant, but if loud guests happen to sit in the courtyard at night, the sound echoes will wake you from the deepest sleep. The staff will always agree and say sorry to any complaint, but nothing is fixed or attended to. I had to phone the front desk 3 times in 1 night to ask someone to quiet noisy guests at different hours. The café is open only when they have time. Food is prepared by the women that clean your room, and once, I had ants on my plate of food. That experience forced me to eat elsewhere. All in all, the problems can be put directly back onto the poor manager. I have experienced it once, never again.

No problem with the hotel but it off the beat so I always had to take the hotel shuttle to go were I wanted to go. The price was usually 300 pesos round trip. If you make 2 trip a day, you could spend that money on a hotel closer to tourist locations.

There is nothing around the hotel that would interest you.

This Hotel was \"pushed\" by Expedia but let them down. Loud, angry Arab and Korean guests. Very difficult to get service when required. Very loud aircraft traffic thought day and night. Food was very average and absolutely no love in it. Obviously the owners are dictating and if you pay peanuts you get monkeys!!

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I returned to this location for the wonderful staff #1 and the pricing is very reasonable for #2.

Location is near just about anything you would like to do in the Clark, Angeles area. SM Mall was my favorite drop off spot by the hotel shuttle driver (Lawrewnce).

Variety of food services that deliver directly to the hotel as well as the onsite café that provides room service most of the day.

I would book this location over and over again as long as all of the above remain constant. :)

It was overall a great stay. Staff was wonderful! Room service was excellent. The room itself was very clean and modern. The only problem was that the water temperature and pressure in the shower was not good at all. The water went from either cold or very hot in seconds. So most showers I took were cold with low pressure.

Relax in a Prism hide-away

Hotel staff and security were very warm and friendly on arrival. Location is not in the middle of main drag of red light district and walking street, however it is only minutes by jeepney to get there. Jeepneys are located at the end of the street. Situated in a private area, the design of hotel means you have complete privacy. The pool is modest and more than ediquate. The disign of the building means that the pool is sheltered from the sun for most of the day so you can still enjoy the pool comfortably.

The staff is awesome.

Nice hotel. Air Conditioning is great, rooms stay cool. The pool is at your front door.
The wifi works well, when it's working. No odors or mold like other places I have stayed.
The shuttle service is \"hit or miss\"... It's not guaranteed it will be available. It sometimes travels to Subic which is a few hours away, so the hotel is without transportation. When it's here, the rates are awesome.
Local bars are walking distance, but most of your major dining is at the SM Mall, which is by taxi or other means.

The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Very accommodating.

Overall, I am pleased with my recent stays.

Nice hotel off the beaten path

My 4th stay here since last year, for a total of 12 weeks. Lovely, friendly, efficient staff. Rooms always cleaned daily and very well. Cafeteria is now fully open and serves good food freshly made to order at reasonable prices. Great swimming pool, cleaned daily. Shuttle transportation to almost anywhere in Angeles, sometimes free of charge. Or call a trike, easy and very low price. Overall I will be staying there again on all future trips!

Not bad option if you have to be in Clark.

Clark is not a destination I would recommend. We were only there because we have friends who live near by. The hotel served a purpose and seemed to be far enough away from the seedier parts of town. Room was a good size. Pretty quiet. Staff was friendly and service was very good. Airport was close. Easy access to the jeepneys for the trip to the mall. Couple good restaurant/bars nearby that are not girlie bars. Recommend going in with low expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised!
