The stay was very pleasant, staff were great. The hotel is showing its age, and there is construction going on to rehabilitate the hotel. The location is excellent, close to other restaurants outside of the hotel. The hotel is connected to the other hotel casino and entertainment.

It was OK I expected better for a 4* hotel. Very odd layout for the hotel. The bathroom was very tired and the shower didn't work properly. Toilet roll was limited and they seemed very stingy to replace it. Security was crazy having to go through a scanner every single time to enter and threats to charge constantly.

Surprised at not having toilet papers in the room . They were able to provide upon request though . The 2nd night in a different room. Still no toilet papers again, they said the supply just arrive . I don’t believe it. If that’s the case poor housekeeping.

checking in was the worst experiance, Widus booking system for some reason has update that I booked with them, I explained I even have emails from Widus confirming my booking, but I wasblown of stating that a \"system\" generated email that means nothing. First receptionist(will not mention her name) was plain rude and told me its my job to contact the 3rd party(hotels.com) for my booking. Than her supervisor Hazel (i think) came to attend the issue, eventhough she also could not locate my booking she was very helpfull and displayed willingness to resolf this and showed alot common sence, accepting proof of payment, Widus confirmation emails, booking codes from hotels.com. She let me and my family check in while looking into the issue after. 5 Star customer service, other employee zero stars. I stayed numerous times in Widus in the past and I have to say the quality of the continental breakfast is very poor, 1 processed cheese and 1 unidentified processed cold cut, croissants and danish seemed from the previous day. (chef come to work earlier and inspect your product) Spice restaurant was great, room was very clean, IRD had very fast delivery and all the employees were friendly and willing to assist. Widus please sort out your reservation system because these days almost everyone is using 3rd parties for their booking

The premium room was huge and gorgeous!! Too big for 3 adults. Breakfast buffet was superb that we ate for an hour. Happy with the booking. We will book again here when we come back to Clark.

We stayed for 10nights and 5x we had to call front desk because the water heater wasn’t working. They would send a service crew to reset the water heater and it would work for a day or two. Very frustrating!!! The other problem was our key card; it failed to open the door 4x. Our room was located on the 5th floor and had to walk all the way to the front desk(atleast 10mins one way) to get new set of cards 3X out of 10 and on the 4th time that happened, the door lock where you tap the card was actually the problem. But before that, staff kept saying that we exposed our key cards with electronics/cel phones that’s why it’s not working! Now, they said the door lock battery was depleted. We were locked out of our room for 1hour and 20mins. Staff needs to explain more about the situation and what to expect when they are fixing something and NOT just leave you hanging to help another guest in the hotel while your issue is not yet resolved. Situation is already very BAD and poor communication escalated the situation. Some staff were very nice but there are some that are rude. I don’t recommend this place and will NOT return here.

Staff was not helpful at check in and refused to let us speak with a manager. No communication problem since my girlfriend is Filipina. They were not well trained and very nervous when we asked to speak to a manager. After three attempts they stated there was no manager on duty. No hot water! I would not recommend this hotel. They need to reevaluate the way in which they treat their customers. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

We loved this place; we did not expect it from the outside to be as great as it was. Security to get inside and having to go through XRAY and metal detectors was new for us. Check in was swift and easy the doormen and bell boys were very nice. We did not have a good experience with the breakfast; There is a sign stating a dress code that wasn't enforced. People were in the pjs the wait for breakfast was pretty long in which they offered for us to sit in the prism lounge which we obliged to do. They said we could leave our stuff there and get a plate then come back there. When we came back my coffee and water I got myself were gone. We then just went to the cafe area in which during breakfast is an even longer wait. The area is nice; its connected to 2 other hotels with the casino. It's very nice and clean well-kept. Some of the staff in the cafe and restaurant did give off an unwelcoming vibe I assumed it was because the breakfast wait was a bit hectic with people being upset the longer the time stretched. We walked around the property and it was beautiful. The hotel itself is great; we would probably book again.

We had an extremely early flight the next morning and we merely needed an inexpensive place to sleep. We've stayed at this place before, but the tower we were in is in need of updating, the room looked tired. They also didn't have towels in the room and we had to ask for them. On a positive note, the reception personnel were very professional. They even provided us with boxed continental breakfasts and coffees to take to the airport, very thoughtful!

An Overall 4-Star Experience

We recently stayed here at Widus Hotel to celebrate my father's birthday, as well as, our son's 4-month milestone.

While we understand that some parts are still under renovation/construction, the bidet in one of our restrooms were not functioning. Since we booked a 2-bedroom suite, one of the TVs were not working as well.

Overall, the stay was great, the breakfast was filling and actually delicious (some dishes were left out cold), the service is great (everyone was friendly and accomodating), and we will surely be back.

The buffet breakfast was wonderful! My only complaint is our arrival. We used GPS to find the hotel. The luggage and valet men told us we were at the wrong place and sent us across to a different hotel. This was wrong so we came back, as we drive back he is yelling at us to turn around and go the other way, he was screaming. Finally we ignored him and went to check in at the front desk, yes we were at the right hotel. Maybe that guy was new but his behavior was not something tolerable after our exhausting travels. Later my husband tried to go get his phone out of our car, since they only offer valet they tried to charge him full valet service for retrieving his phone. The breakfast was great but I would never stay here again.

The quality of the food was very poor, all the food i received weather i ordered or buffet style was always cold. Had to send back my soup my fries and at that point i gave up. I started to order in from other places.

The water was never hot just warm in the shower. The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard, slept on the sofa in the living room.

The lady that checked us in was so kind and helpful, she let us stay until 1pm when the normal checkout time was 11am. We were so tired from traveling so the extra time was very much appreciated.

Hotel itself is good. The staff is friendly. There’s a lot of renovation ongoing on the hotel. My small nit is there’s not much to do in the area except for the casino. There’s a 7-11 across the street that is not so convenient given it’s a 6-lane road cross and no zebra crossing. But it’s the only place where you can buy anything. The water pressure is also too low (on the 5th flr) for the rain shower, but handheld one works fine. There is a shuttle going to a nearby SM mall but I didn’t get to try it. Recommend the in-room massage service.

The property was fine, however, during our stay, there was a huge leak in the hallway right outside our door. Also, there was work being done in one of the main hallways, which affected my father's transport from his room to the lobby, since he is in a wheelchair. Also, the bed was super hard. When we arrived, there was an open coke can on our balcony. The casino is nice and I like that this property is connected to it. The front registration staff was very nice and helpful.

This hotel is more than a family stay. All the rooms and service are above the others.

We can really appreciate all the efforts the staff put in helping us with our stay.
