The Hotel d’Orsay is a charming boutique hotel located just a half-block from the world-famous Musée d’Orsay, a short stroll from the Quai d’Orsay, and directly across the Seine from the Tuileries Gardens—an ideal base for exploring Paris. The hotel is beautifully appointed, exceptionally comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to make each stay memorable.

The staff is extraordinary—warm, attentive, and eager to help with anything from dinner reservations to cab arrangements to simple questions about the city. The breakfast room is delightful, offering everything from light pastries to pancakes and eggs, all served with care.

We stayed several nights and came to know the team well. Everyone—from the front desk to the kitchen to housekeeping—was unfailingly professional and genuinely committed to making our visit one of the true highlights of our time in the City of Light.

From the hotel, you can walk for miles along the Seine, explore renowned galleries, savor wonderful Parisian cuisine, and enjoy the vibrant mix of people who come from all over the world to experience this city. Whatever your plans, the Hotel d’Orsay is the perfect place to return to each night after taking in the many pleasures of Paris.

What a lovely last-minute stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. My flight landed earlier than expected, and the warm greeting — complete with a glass of champagne — was so appreciated. The front desk team were impeccable: kind, attentive, and immediately made me comfortable. They even directed me to a private area to change and freshen up while my room was being prepared.

When I returned later that evening after exploring the charming 6th arrondissement, I found my room ready with a personalized note and a sweet treat — such a thoughtful touch. The room itself, while cozy in size, was exactly what I needed: spotless, comfortable, and stocked with bottled water and excellent amenities.

Room service that night was exceptional — the food arrived promptly, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Checkout was seamless; the team even arranged my taxi and confirmed the details with care.

I’ve stayed in many places in Paris, but this one truly stands out for its warmth, service, and attention to detail. A hidden gem that feels personal and special in every way. 100/10 — can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing time and could not praise the staff or Hôtel more, the welcome was amazing and no ask was too much. The location is excellent, being a stone’s throw from the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. Only tiny things were no red wine on the honesty bar and the lights in the room bathroom were quite bright so may need a dimmer.

Lovely and spacious Room and helpful staff

This a lovely hotel with a spacious room. The lobby was a soothing respite after a long day of walking. It is extremely close to Museum D’Orsay, a lovely park and good restaurants. We so appreciated the kind and knowledgeable staff, especially Adabi (probably misspelled, sorry). He saved us by getting us a taxi to the airport when we couldn’t secure one with G7 or Uber. Highly recommend!!

Room was extremely small and inconvenient door to toilet too heavy. Made it very difficult to get to restroom. Tv on wall area made for too tight getting by. Who can use the tv anyway with the size of that room. Too much money for a matchbox size room.

I love this hotel! I've been staying in it since the 1970s (old Solferino). Some of the rooms are tiny small, but overall the hotel is so charming, friendly, French, with a lot of personality. I really love it. And the location can't be beat.

Rive Gauche Delight

Splendid, quirky little hotel tucked away on a quiet street on the Left Bank just a block from the Seine and in easy walking distance to the Louvre, Musée de l'Orangerie, Musée d'Orsay, Tuileries -- everything really. If you haven't tried a stay on the Parisian Left Bank you will be delighted to find yourself still in the center of Paris but away from the maddening crowd. Our room was comfortable and spotless and very much to our liking. The staff were kind and gracious, if a bit overbusy at times. The breakfast was on the limited side as was the self-service bar, but perfectly acceptable and completely in character with the rest of the hotel. Ideal for a visitor looking for a change-up from the usual tourist affair.

This is a great property to a visit the heart of Paris. Close to the must see - first time attractions. Also to mention, super close to one of the best museums in the city :). There is a bakery around the corner that is a 4.0 on Google. However, we found it on par (if not better) than some of the highly regarded bakeries in the city!!! The staff was gracious and helpful! Very close to public transit!

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. They were very accommodating, the room was very comfortable and (most importantly) very quiet at night for sleeping while also being very close to the Louvre, Orsay, Notre Damme, and Eiffel Tower. We had our 9 year old with us who also enjoyed her stay. Vajira and all of the staff were fantastic. Would recommend for a stay in Paris,

This is my 2nd stay at the propery due to the location, transport, shopping etc.. it’s the perfect location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is just around the corner from the Seine and a short walk to the Musee D’Orsay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not many restaurants close to hotel that we could find.

Hotel room was not as light as the photographs suggested, but was good size. In our room the toilet was separate from the bathroom.

Breakfast basic. Sweet treats and hot drinks available in reception for most of the day - an added bonus.

Reception staff exceptionally helpful.

Would stay here again if visiting this area of Paris.

All you really need in Paris.

Stayed a couple days in Paris before returning to the United States. Great location, service was excellent. The room was more than adequate. My room didn’t have much of a view, however, I suspect of none of them really do but that’s not why I stayed there. pricing was very reasonable. Many great local restaurants within walking distance.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Hotel D’Orsay for our first visit to Paris. Hôtel is lovely, spacious room, great location on the left bank- very close to Musée D’Orsay, and walking distance to everywhere. The wonderful staff at Hotel D’Orsay were all so welcoming, helpful and kind. We greatly enjoyed the delicious breakfast at the hotel which was enhanced by the friendly staff!

Perfect for Musée D’Orsay

My wife and I were in Paris for the weekend to cap off a holiday and business trip before our return to the US and we were interested in a nice and reasonably priced hotel conveniently located relative to the Musée D’Orsay and this hotel was just the perfect selection! The property is quaint, warm, well kept, and not outrageously expensive given its location in Paris. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well and the hotel is also close to restaurant and cafes.

Hotel was wonderful. Great, central location. Came with my husband and two teenage girls. Got the suite on the top floor- nice size king bed for hubby and me, and a separate small room with twin beds for the two girls which they absolutely loved. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good little breakfast available in the morning. Beds were super comfortable. Two small little balconies with chairs that you can sit out at in the evening. Would definitely recommend

We loved our stay, it was walking distance to many Paris “must. see” places,The staff were extremely helpful and kind, especially because we only speak English. The sheets had a lovely smell to them and the bathroom was spotless ! Don’t miss the breakfast, it the best deal in town, the coffee is delicious and breakfast met all of our want. 5 star rating for a 5 star experience. Highly recommend, we’ll be back💕

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Great location, near the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Jardin des Tuileries and within walking distance of great restaurants like Bouillon Racine and Le Coupe Chou, among others. The staff is very competent and welcoming, from check-in to check-out the service was spectacular. We are very grateful for the great service we received from Malyne, Yvan, Vajira, Samra, Ahmed and the director Florence, they are all fabulous people whose contributions made our stay a marvelous and unforgettable experience. The breakfast buffet is very good and has a little bit of everything for everyone. The breakfast staff, including Upul, Festus and Marie-Claude, all made each morning a good one with their prompt and professional service. In terms of housekeeping everything is very clean and organized, the team is great, very respectful and nice. In general, most of the staff speaks English, some Spanish as well, and they are all always ready to help their guests, whether its with restaurant recommendations, providing adapters for phones, or arraging for transportation, they all excel at customer service. We certainly enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making this life-long dream a fantastic experience for us.

Hôtel was lovely, room was a little small had no where to store luggage, had to leave this on the floor at the foot of my bed so, had to keep stepping over this to move around the room.

Staff especially Ivan was amazing, allowed an early check in, charged my phone a few times as my cable stopped working, and also called my driver when pick up was late.

A great place to stay… very central, will definitely be staying here in the future. X

This hotel was a real find.
Excellent location easy to navigate around the city, close to the museums and the Saint Germain area with all its retail opportunities1!
Staff were excellent from the moment of arrival to departure, taking the care & time to look after guests.
Room was very well equipped with all the amenities that I needed/wanted.
Coffee/tea/water plus an honesty bar available in the lounge, breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choice & all very fresh.
