Lovely area

Concierge service was impeccable. They were so helpful getting Cabs when there were no Ubers available.
They assisted me with train tickets to Mount Saint Michelle.
Honestly, it made this stay worth it
I wish I would’ve upgraded our room for over a week stay it was very small for me and my daughter.

I hated this hotel. Everything went wrong from the day I arrived. Water wasn’t running properly on my floor so I couldn’t take a shower. I found out that afternoon that it was floor wide after I pressed, not that anyone apologized. Then I couldn’t use the lobby to work or talk bc the staff told me that their brand was to play loud music even in the middle of the day when no one was around. The room I was in was tiny, I couldn’t sleep from the strong light that emitted from the TV. My bottles of water were sometimes thrown away, sometimes not even though I brought them from the outside. The gym was unkept and not clean. One day the water fountain wasn’t working so there was no water. The toilets keep flushing unless you take extra care to turn the lever off. The fridge in the room sometimes was cold and sometimes wasn’t. The staff was actually friendly it just the maintenance of the hotel was really bad.

Leaky sink faucet, tub wouldn’t drain, shower head/faucet placed inconveniently so it was uncomfortable to shower, hair in tub from previous guest, tub was really high and I am pregnant so it was difficult to get in and out of. Window view had no view besides construction that started at like 4am everyday so it was extremely loud and unpleasant. Carpet in room and hallways was dirty. Bar wasn’t open on Sunday and Monday. Overall dirty and not good quality for the amount of money we paid.

Great location. Across from the Louvre and it is possible to walk to most major attractions in Paris. Probably more of a 4.5 star than a true 5 star hotel. The rooms are a little small and the lobby is nothing special. But we got great value compared to other comparable hotels in the area. Service was very good.

This hotel is a 3 1/2 star. The Superior room was very small, the layout is not great. The amenities were not great. Service was also not favorable. The best part of the hotel to me was the concierge (can't remember his name) was excellent, so helpful. Overall, I expected more from the Ranaissance Paris.

They claim to be a 5 star hotel and it doesn’t even remotely can be considered a 5 star. I guess you just pay for the location. The fixtures and and details have that feeling of a hotel that has been furnished with that famous blue and yellow swedish furniture brand...
The details ( a very old room phone with not even a button description to know how to call the front desk) are very disappointing, plus a bathroom towel heater that after three days hasn’t been fixed yet and is always on at 200 degrees celsius making the whole room an oven. They keep apologising and they are offering a glass of wine to make up for it, but not the level of service you would expect from a Marriott Bonvoy Elite at this hefty pricetag.

This beautiful hotel is centrally located on a quiet street. Our rooms were a nice size, clean and the beds are really comfortable. The concierge was very helpful in recommendations and assisting us in booking dinner reservations. All the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. Only issue we had was the air conditioning in one of the rooms wasn't cooling and unable to be repaired. The hotel was booked so no other rooms were available. They did bring up a fan which helped, but still hard to sleep due to the warm temp.
Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Paris to Visit our son who is studying there, We stayed in the family suite on the 6th floor. Everyone at the reception desk and the concierge were very helpful throughout our trip. The room was very clean and well appointed. We had been to Paris a few years agao and wanted to stay at the same hotel this trip. Unfortunately that was not available and this one was recommended to us. So happy they did. It was excellent. Great location, great room, great people.

This property was in a great location, so it was easy to do all the sight-seeing tours. But most of all, the staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were also patient with all of our questions when we used the Navigator. Elise and her staff were very, very good. We also loved our breakfast every morning at the hotel. The wait staff were so kind and patient (we did not speak French), they would prepare whatever we asked for! Our rooms were super clean and modern, shower and water pressure were great. The spa was cozy. We went to the steam room one night after walking in the Louvre all day! Can't wait to stay here again!

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Tuleries, and great shopping. The room, while updated, was quirky. There was no way to block light from the street from entering the room as the bathroom window had no shade and the door to the bathroom were translucent. Very annoying. The mattress could have been firmer.

and Tuileries gardens.....Opera, high end shopping.
Great stuff, wonderful breakfast at Hotel restaurant.
Rooms are on smaller side, but well decorated and quite.
Pool is very nice, but on smaller side, water temperature was just perfect for me around 85F. Good darkening draperies that do not let light in...I would stay at the Hotel again if I am coming back.
We had wine and cookies as welcoming us to hotel :))

Really good location. It's basically next door to the Meurice without the sticker price. Five min walk to the Louvre; right across from Tuileries which is best if you have kids. Hotel has good AC, marble bathroom, clean and comfortable.

Boutique hotel very close to major attractions. We were able to walk everywhere from there. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was awesome.
One complain is the noise from the bar since we happened to be on the first floor right on top of it. Anyone having aversion to noise, should go higher or choose rooms away from the bar

When we checked into this very nice quiet hotel on an alley right off of Rue Rivoli we were given a room on the first floor which had just been refurbished. They told us we were the first to use the room since the remodel. It turned out the room was right over the Disco in the hotel which was very loud and kept us up until it closed sometime after 1 a.m. The next morning I complained and asked for another room on a higher floor. The staff was gracious and apologized for the problem. The Hotel appeared full so they took our bags and we went about the day in Paris. When we returned to the Hotel later that day we still did not have a room but after a short wait we were given the room which was much higher up and very nice. Other than that minor incident which I feel the Hotel staff handled very well the Hotel is great and one of the best locations in Paris. Very nice restaurant connected to the Hotel but make a reservation as it gets full quickly., Will definitly return.

This was our first trip to Paris and the staff at the Renaissance Paris Vendôme was excellent. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and even knew us by name. The location is great for exploring the city and is close to many museums and other sites of interest. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

What is a let down for me is the coffee and tea facility? It is an extremely poor selection for coffee and tea. At least provide filter coffee but not instant Nescafe. I do not expect a five star hotel to provide instant coffee. In addition, only one shower cap is available for the duration of stay!

The hotel was quite nice. I like that it is part of a well-known chain where good service can be expected. For me, it is in a really convenient location. The desk and concierge staff were lovely, polite and very helpful. Breakfast was great and the staff there were lovely as well. The room was kind of small and could use updating, but basic and clean which was fine with me. , the tv could use improvement in terms of channels offered for tourists as well as offering movies.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant from check in to check out.

The room we had was beautiful with a French Balcony my only complaint would be the mattress wasn’t as comfortable as I would have liked but the bedding on it was amazing and comfy.

The breakfast that was included with our room was fantastic and included a vast amount of choices from eggs, breads, vegetables, meats to yogurts and fruit.

The pool and spa area was very clean and relaxing wished we would have had time for a massage.

The lobby was under construction but they did everything possible to accommodate you around it.

The location was fantastic we were within walking distance to almost all of the major Paris attractions. There was an abundant amount of cafes and shopping both reasonable and high end.

Super, luxury, friendly hotel in a great location!

We found the hotel easily, it is very well located close to the centre and metro links, and although we arrived very early, the very friendly, welcoming receptionist said our room was ready and gave us all the information that we needed to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was on the ground floor with a small outside patio and was very comfortable with a large flat screen TV. Breakfast was included in our stay, a buffet with a large and varied choice served in a very pleasant room. One of the reasons why we chose this particular hotel was because of the swimming pool and spa, we weren't disappointed and it is a very nice way to relax after lots of walking during the day. We look forward to returning the next time that we stay in Paris!

Nice hotel one block from the Rue St. Honore

The hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We didn't have enough light in our room and when we came back they had brought in a large floor lamp. Our one complaint was that they didn't clean the rooms early enough, unless tou specifically asked them to. We had come back, tired, at 3:30 and they hadn't been there yet.

The room didnt look as what was advertised on the web page, only one window for superior room and not 2 windows. Was given a lower floor room with zero view. The bed was very springy and the pillows were small. The omelette served at breakfast had a piece of hair on it. The bathrooms was a bit dated and the glass doors did not close properly. The wardrobe lights did not work despite request to fix. On the plus side, they did help to confirm dinner reservations and gave us a small bottle of champaign and a small box of macarons as an anniversary gift.

Overall it's ok hotel, small rooms , but nice and quiet. room has nothing extra not even basics cotton wool, buds,,,
Spa reseption desk always empty! No stuff going there at all , there is a phone to call just in case , but out of charge.
Concierge is never at the desk too,,
It's seems stuff is hyding from you .
Reception though nice and attentive as well as boys at the front always nice and smiling. I think it's not good value for money

Came here with my boyfriend to celebrate his 21st and the hotel was lovely, staff were really friendly. Rooms were a good size and the hotel itself was impressive. There was such a variety of choice at the buffet breakfast, the only downside was the croissants tasted a bit stale. The pool looks lovely but the only downside is the water was really cold so wasn't very relaxing to be in and didn't smell the best, the spa would be much better if it had a jacuzzi. Other than this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Staff very warm and helpful and service was OK, but you are paying for the location. Very odd for a hotel of this level not to have a functioning restaurant (outside breakfast) and our rather expensive \"Gallery Suite\" was enough to give anyone claustrophobia. Two tiny rooms with such low ceilings you hit them raising your hands to dress and undress. The furniture was also pretty ropey.

Although the hotel is rated as five stars, the reality is quite different. The rooms are small and cramped with mediocre furnishings. I believe the hotel will be undertaking a refresh shortly, so the situation may improve.

Unlike the rooms, the staff were excellent; friendly, helpful and accommodating: five stars here.

Lock on bathroom door was faulty so after my shower (when my family were out) I couldnt unlock the door so was trapped in the bathroom for over half an hour, trying to use whatever utensils I had in my toiletry bag to try to get the lock to open, banging on the door, calling out for help. Once I was out reception just apologised and sent a repair guy up (who couldn't fix it so said don't use the lock for the remainder of my stay).

Plus each day housekeeping would only give us 2 new bath towels, but 3 people were checked in/on our booking.

They would not honor our reservation. The people who were suppose to check out did not, so we had to go to another one of their hotels. VERY FRUSTRATING! then move back the next day. Not happy. We asked if there were any rooms and they said they had to save them for other people with higher status in their hotel frequent visitor program

Great location

Minimum room is really cramped so I moved up to prestige it was much better and worth the extra $30! Hamman was cold not good! But staff was curteous! Close to tullieries Metro and Concord metro off rue de rivoli take #1 to get to louvre and take 12 to 6 to get to Eiffel Tower exit Bir Hakem! Took me hours to figure that out!

Close to the Louvre, Metro and nice restaurants.

Got in quite late due to flights and the horrendous traffic from CDG Airport. Staff were very polite when we arrived, and got us checked in with minimal fuss and they actually seemed interested in our stay and itinerary. The room didn't have the extra bed we booked through Expedia although we were warned that this may be the case when we did the booking, this was sorted, again with minimal fuss and a nice member of staff got the extra bed into the room and made up very quickly, however we did also have to ask for an additional set of towels.

We checked-out the night before as we were leaving early in the morning which was another painless experience.

All in all, a pleasant time - nice staff, restaurant and room.

Almost forgot the room service - awesome burgers ! And again very pleasant staff that delivered it.

If you go to bed really early, don't get a room on the ground floor, the music and noise didn't bother us but it will some people.

Nice hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a 3 night stay for my wife's 30th bday. It is a nice hotel in a good central location - close to all the main attractions.

Pro's -
Friendly helpful staff
Great location
Clean

Cons -
Very small in size - rooms are small, pool is small, hotel bar is very small - generally small hotel.
For the price at this hotel, you would expect more - better breakfast with more choice for example
Sauna did not really work - not warm enough

Five stars all the way!

We had an amazing time. The hotel learnt that we were in town during our anniversary and upped the ante - they provided us with complimentary champagne and chocolates; then did something I had earlier struggled to do - got us an anniversary dinner reservation at Jules Verne on Eiffel Tower with just a few hours notice!
