The hotel is a Paris classic but needs some freshening up. Feels a bit dated and we were surprised at the foul smell coming from the plumbing in the bathroom. It smelled like a s enticed tank and the bad odor permeated the room as well. It’s definitely a deal breaker for us. I can’t imagine all the rooms smell like this.

Always a pleasie

Another wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Paris. The staff is always so hospitable and checks in to make sure if there is any way they can be more accommodating. The rooms are lovely with the most spacious bathrooms ever.
Upon leaving we stored our bags because we had an evening train departure, upon picking up our bags we were informed my daughter had left her necklace in the room safe. We were very grateful for that as she had completely forgotten about it. Also they filled my daughters request to surprise me with champagne and sweets for my birthday. It was a wonderful stay. We will be back again next time in Paris!

The soap is “vegetal” which is good but, the little individual bottles are not eco-friendly. I’ve noticed that many hotels are using dispensers in their bathrooms which seems like a better idea. Using products that are vegan and not tested on animals would be even better! I don’t know whether the Parc Hyatt’s products are or not. The hotel is a gem and a beautiful place to stay!

Special Birthday, Special Hotel

Park Hyatt Paris Vendome is a superbly located property in the heart of the 1st Arrondissement. Amazing shopping and restaurants are just around the corner.

We were warmly greeted at the front desk and offered champagne and bar bites in the outdoor courtyard while our upgraded room received the finishing touches for our arrival. In recognition of my wife's birthday, we were provided a balcony room overlooking the courtyard. It was wonderful to sit outside and enjoy wine, snacks, or breakfast outside.

Although not a suite, nevertheless the room was a comfortable size and had a real walk in closet. The bathroom was unique in that it had a wet room with a small sink within the shower. Never saw that before.

Our only problem was the inability of my wife to log into the hotel WIFI with her iPhone, even though I had no problem. The staff made efforts to help, but without success. That never got resolved.

Overall, a special hotel, amazingly professional and gracious bilingual staff, and a lovely splurge.

There was a strike going on by the housekeepers- it did not affect the cleanliness of the hotel but it was distressing going in and out of the Park Hyatt and often unnerving since the police were often there in riot gear and the people striking were playing loud annoying instruments. I wish we had been made aware of the situation prior to our stay. Also, the gym is being renovated and we were unaware. The hotel itself is lovely and staff very accommodating. Our room was beautiful.

This hotel is absolutely perfect. My girlfriend and I travel the world. We are in a different country every month, and we have stayed in hundreds of hotels in Europe, Asia and North and South America. We both agreed that this is THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, down to even the smallest details. Our room had two full bathrooms, each with a separate toilet with Toto seats, a shower with two heads, a bath, two sinks, and a walk-in closet with tons of drawer space. We had a living room area and separate bedroom with a king-sized bed. Outlets were everywhere we needed them (it sounds ridiculous, but this is where most hotels fall short), light switches were perfectly placed at every entrance and exit from the rooms, AND close to the bed (another thing that often frustrates me). They completely serviced the room twice a day (not just a turn-down), and the toiletry items were generously supplied and top quality. Breakfast was fabulous and included with the room. The last day, we got up at 4:00am to go to the airport. The restaurant was closed, and so they brought a full breakfast to our room on a massive cart. It had two sets of everything: fresh fruit, two types of ham, the eggs we ordered, beautifully presented, a basket full of assorted croissants, and fresh (amazing) yoghurt. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The concierge spent a very long time helping us find the perfect restaurant (which was fabulous). We will be back!!

It's quite a wonderful hotel. Elegant with delightful little quirks that let you know you're in Paris. The staff is conscientious and attentive. The décor is opulent but not over-the-top.

Being next door to the Ritz, this hotel and staff must be constantly compared—to its benefit. Simply: a friend who was staying at the Ritz and stopped by to see me said he would choose this hotel on his next trip to Paris.

Maybe the nicest hotel in Paris

We arrived late at night (after 9pm) so we were concerned that our reservation would not be honored (I read a review on Yelp that mentioned an experience like this). Not only did they honor the reservation they upgraded us to a suite and could not have been any more welcoming (they brought up a plate of macarons when we got to your room). Amazing hotel, amazing staff.

The Park Hyatt Vendome is in a wonderful location. Close to the most exclusive shopping and walking distance to a lot of major attractions including the Louvre. The staff makes this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel welcomed at the hotel.

Great, Great Hotel (worth every penny!)

Hotel simply could not have been any better. The room itself was very gorgeous and generous in size, with a large walk-in closet/changing room and a well-designed and large bathroom. We had a room in the front, which I would recommend, which had two small balconies with wonderful views of the Place Vendome. The Conciege staff (thank you Arthur for arranging the tour of the Eiffel Tower) and everyone at the front desk were extraordinary, could not of been more helpful and accommodating. The central location of the hotel was another big plus. My last trip to Paris I stayed at the Plaza Athenee, and though it had a lot more of the old world charm, I'm definitely returning to the park Hyatt Vendome the next time I come to Paris!

For this trip to Paris, I wanted to impress the lady in my life so I was willing to pay a little more for a true luxury hotel. I'm happy to say the extra cost of booking this hotel was well worth it and set the stage for a very memorable weekend in Paris.

The hotel staff were attentive and well-mannered. The common areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom. The other guests seemed to all be classy and sophisticated.

If you're looking for luxury, you will find it at this hotel.

this was a fabulous hotel. Great location within walking distance to Louvre and Gardens. Not speaking French we wanted to choose a spot where they could help us navigate around the city. The conceirge and toher staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and spoke English very well which was important to us. The one drawback was that the rooms were very small in terms and as such did not have much int he way of closet space or a wardrobe.

Great location, excellent service by hotel and restaurants. I brought my four noisy teenage girls and they were so nice to them as well!
They really went out of there way for our family. Great bed. We came during a heat wave, and they had excellent air conditioning in the rooms, very good concierge, In the heart of the city, walking distance to the louvre, I will stay again for sure!

il y a mieux...

Sympa ! Cependant je ne pense pas y retourner. Évitez la 236, Le carrelage au sol de la salle de bains est cassé, ce qui n’est pas vraiment normal dans un établissement de ce genre. La chambre était quelque peu désuète. J’avais fait une demande à l’arrivée, je l’attends toujours. Bref. On gardera en souvenir l’excellence du bar et de la restauration.
Il est facile de trouver mieux !
J’aurais essayé le Park hyatt.

チェックアウト後空港までのタクシーを手配していただいたのですが、空港到着後クレジットカードの使えないタクシーだったことが判明しました。こちらは旅行者なので帰国時に現地の現金を多く持っていることはほとんどないと思うのです。クレジットカードで支払いをしようとすると現金のみと言われ、ATMでキャッシングする様に指示されました。キャッシングは手数料もかかりますし、空港到着後に手間もかかりました。旅の最後にケチがついてしまい残念な気持ちでいっぱいです。自身でタクシーに乗る際はクレジットカードが使えるか確認していましたが、ホテル側が手配してくれたということに安心しきってしまっていました。とても悲しいです。
ホテル自体はとても快適に過ごせました。
