The front desk staff Wajd, Ludovic (I hope I spelled it correctly) and Gregory were great. They always went above and beyond to provide service and assistance. There service made our stay more tolerable. It is hard to find rooms with space in Paris, and this was no exception, the room was tiny, but we knew that. I did appreciate the daily towel and room reset especially after a long day of sightseeing but there is no space to really relax, and the bed was not the most comfortable. We may have had the smallest room on the property.

Everything was nice, only thing is that they only have elevator for the first 4 floors. If you get the room on floor number 5 you’ll have to take the elevator to the 4th and walk to the 5th.

I had a great week-long stay at Hotel Ile de France Opéra, near Opéra in Paris. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the metro, which made it easy to get around the city and to/from CDG Airport. The area is lively with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for convenience and charm in the heart of Paris.

I will start with the good points. The hotel is perfectly situated and is easily walkable to the metro, and is very close walking to Le Louvre, Opera, Les Jardins Tuilleries and Saint Lazare area. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Jessica was absolutely fantastic and incredibly helpful, she recommended the most perfect of restaurants so if you need any help during your stay then definitely ask for her.
Now to the negative, I booked 2 rooms, paid for 2 rooms and had confirmation of 2 rooms but, upon arrival we were met by a VERY surly and unhelpful man who told me my booking was for only 1 room and then proceeded to point out that I, myself, obviously now had a problem as they only had one room! After making clear that it was not actually my problem but the Hotels problem he went into the dramatics of sighing, huffing and puffing, all whilst tapping away at his computer and muttering under his breath. After standing my ground he miraculously found a second room for us. Then came the next problem, payment for the stay was ‘pay in full at the property’ which was not a problem however, a pre authorisation had been done to secure my booking, of which I was assured no money would be debited from my account, unfortunately it was debited and despite me asking for this to be taken off the balance I was faced with another surly response of either pay the full amount or not stay at all! Consequently, I had to pay the full amount on top of the amount taken prior to my stay

I stayed for 9 nights on a recent solo trip to Paris. I arrived about 1:00pm and was happily able to check in early. I had a single room that was small compared to American standards, but it was sufficient for me since I was only sleeping there. The staff was friendly and super helpful. I had taken a macaron baking class and needed to keep the cold on the travel home. A front desk clerk directed me to a grocery 'around the corner' where I was bale to purchase cold packs. Then she put them in the hotel's freezer and I collected them the next morning before checkout. When guests leave the hotel, they are required to hand in the key to the front desk, and they get it back upon return. As a solo female traveler, this practice made me feel a bit more secure.

We were there during the week of 6/26/23. two things that i personally didn’t like. the A/C was set at 19 celsius and it was hot during my stay. i could not control it on my end and asked the hotel if they could lower it by one celsius and they could not.
The other is the room size for two. It is very small like 100 sqt. if you are single. it will be fine but if you are a couple that are about 6 feet and over. make sure you verify the size. you will feel uncomfortable.
The staff was very accommodating and very friendly and the area is near to everything.

We are a very nice 6 night stay at this hotel. Staff were great and very responsive to any requests we had. The room size is exactly like the picture, and though small, very functional. One of the other great features was location, as it was on a quiet street, and less than 4 mins away from 2 different metro lines, Opera and Quatre Septembre. Plus, just a 10 minute walk away from the Louvre, and down to the river! Kevin H.

Location was great. We booked this because it was on the route of hop-on hop-off bus. We paid for a 4 person room. But it wasn't a hotel room. It was an attic on top of the hotel converted into a room. We had to get off the elevator on 4th floor and then climb two levels of stairs with our heavy luggage. The room as such a mess, two beds on the side had slanted roof that would hit your head when you wake up. The attached bathroom did not have a shower. Just a bathtub with the slanted roof at 5 feet height. Meaning, you can't even stand straight let alone have a shower. This is the worst experience for a hotel room. This doesn't deserve the $324 per night.

The location of the hotel was good. The bathroom was difficult as the shower was very difficult to get to work. The pull piece on the tap required many tries before it worked. The bath water was very slow to run away and the drain obviously needs cleaning out.

The room we were checking in was was not as advertised in any photo. Spoke with owner who told me I could leave but not get money back, also rude. Hotel staff told us it’s against the law to bring someone else is the room. The person was not staying the night. Stayed at another hotel that was more courteous and took the time to explain the no guest spending the night rule for safety reasons not visiting. Window in the first room faced a wall sorta with stuff on ledge. Important to note after co plaining we were moved to the room picture shown on Orbitz.

We stayed in a \"family room\" which turned out to be a studio with a loft bed for the kids. There is a kitchenette and table for 4. Very convenient! The hotel is on a quiet street that is very close to restaurants, bars, and, of course, the Louvre.

This hotel has an excellent location since it's within walking distance to most of the attractions. The room was clean and it looked good, is just that it wasn't a room big enough for three people. The extra bed they placed in the room, took all the free space, so it was difficult to move inside. Their staff was very friendly and their parking a must if you drive. Overall we like the hotel.

What a terrible hotel to stay. First you pay all your stay upfront (don't remember seeing this when I book in Expedia); The hotel probably knows that you would not want to stay there. The decor is vile. Cheap looking, tacky and vulgar. I found purple sequin pillows on my bed..! The place is very rundown. Wall dirty around the switches. The paint is very poorly applied on rough plastering patches. The room smelt of old socks. That carpet had not been cleaned for years. The bathroom was old. The shower flexy too short I had to bent down to shower my head. There is mould all around the the bath tub. Breakfast for €15. You get as the only savoury option, a bad quality garlic salami. I like garlic but not pungent at 7.00 am. The fruit juice was 2/3 water, 1/3 fruit juice (if it has ever been fruit juice).

The staff at our hotel were great, it was kept quite clean (apart from the vacuum which seemed to live in the hallway), and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large, shower functioned well, although the tiling needed repair. The breakfast was reasonable apart from the watered down OJ. Wifi was fast. Be prepared that the the Opera area while central, is not cheap.

Great expectations - Amazing Location

I had high expectations due to the amazing photos and when I entered the hotel they were not met - the photos are very deceiving. Having said that, although the room is small, it was very clean and everything was in working order. The bed was also fairly comfortable. Most of the management staff are quite friendly and helpful. The best part of the hotel is the location, a five minute walk to the Louvre, around the corner from Gallerie Lafeyette and a short metro ride or boat cruise to the Eiffel Tower - this is what you are paying for. I did not have the breakfast there so I cannot provide advice other than to say the patisserie on the corner is exceptional.

Convenient and a good deal

This hotel was convenient for my 3 night stay in Paris. I spent most of my time out in the city doing touristy things, eating amazing food and loving every second of it. For the price of this hotel it was a good deal. Its small but so is every hotel in Paris unless you're paying a lot more or in a bad location. This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to everything the average tourist wants to see and do.
My only major complaint would be that the super small bathroom smelled strongly of mildew, probably coming from the pipes or the vents since the bathroom was very clean.

Highly Discouraged - Hotel Ile de France Opera

Hotel Check-In at Hotel Ile de France Opera was advertised on the hotels.com website as 12:00H - I arrived at 12:30H-13:00H & was told to \"come back in at least 1 hour\". I arrived back at around 15:30H only to be informed that I was to be transferred to another hotel about 5-10 mins walk from the Hotel Ile de France Opera that I had actually booked. While carrying my own bags to this second, smelly hotel, I asked the receptionist why I was being transferred; a previously good level of English became inexplicably limited & some fumbled excuse was made about the bathroom in my originally booked room being unsafe. The second hotel was in a different location with no shower attachment, stained, red-streaked marble tiles in the bathroom and no real bag-check facilities (the corner of an open corridor in the basement) . All in all a very disappointing experience & not what I had reserved at all.

A part l'emplacement, je déconseille cet hôtel pour les raisons suivante:
Hotel vieux et la moquette aussi personnel gentil mais ne répond pas vraiment à votre demande, la chambre single est extrêmement petite ,on ne peut pas faire un mouvement sans se cogner , le menage laisse à désirer , des marches très étroites pour accéder aux chambres, la porte qui s'ouvre directement sur les marches au risque de tomber

ホテルは、オペラ座より徒歩5分圏、空港からの直通シャトルバスのオペラ停留所もあり、ギャラリーラファイエットも近く、ホテルの近くには日本食のお店が沢山あります。
ルーブル美術館にも15分歩けば着きます。とても便利な立地でした。
ただ、ドアを開けてすぐベッドルームなのが、狭さゆえなお部屋でした。
エレベーターも大人2人とスーツケース2個でFullですが設置されてました。
冷蔵庫が小さくあまり冷えません。
