The hotel was nice and staff were great and breakfast was amazing! But the room was dated and there was absolutely no ventilation in the bathroom…we were sweating even in the winter! Also I would be more upfront about only getting the spa for 1 hr a day and you need to plan your exact time also. With so many options in Paris I probably wouldn't stay here again but it was a perfectly fine hotel.

The staff at Hotel Saint-Marc is fabulous. They are professional and very helpful. Vincent always gave us suggestions on things to see and places to eat whenever we went out. All of his suggestions were spot on. Great location that is in a quieter part of town, but quite walkable to the Louvre, etc. would highly recommend.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The location is a little off to the side and in more of a financial district, we stayed over a weekend when all the offices were closed so we felt a little unsafe walking at night. Also it was about a 20-25 minute to the louvre and main area. During the day it is really safe to walk around and we walked everywhere. Overall the room was very clean and they have complementary coffee in the mornings. It was just the location that was an off putting.

Want a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Paris that’s quiet. This is your perfect hotel. Walkable to shops and the metro train system and we had a really huge bathroom which was welcome. The staff are exceptional and the best bit is the underground swimming pool and steam room. Would be cool if you didn’t have to book the pool and steamer as I wouldn’t mind sharing the space with other guests so you all get more time. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality. Can’t wait to have breakfast in your courtyard again.

Backyard is really nice and cozy for having tea / coffee in the morning or just want to chill a bit. Walkable to main shopping areas and convenient with subways. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! Conveniently located near various restaurants, cafes, shopping and transportation. We walked and enjoyed different areas in Paris. Walking was our mode of transport! But when the sun was intense, we also used bus/metro. They were located near hotel, and we used uber when we wanted to return quickly back to hotel late in evening.

Friendly/helpful staff and enjoyed pool/sauna during our private booking. Book your spa time in the morning before you leave hotel and you can cancel or change your time (pending availability ) by calling hotel. Spa was a nice break from walking under the hot sun and touring during the day!

The only feedback was the carpet. It was outdated. But it was clean just like rest of our suite/room was clean! The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay! We will book again!

The hotel location is perfect. Street is very quiet. Working distance to Opéra, Louvre, and Montmartre. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are bigger than average in Paris.

Great little hotel right off a busy street - convenient and close but not too close to the heart of the city. Staff were all so kind and provided some amazing food recommendations when I checked in. The hotel itself is spotless, even though some furniture had some wear, you can tell that it is cared for. Nice lobby and patio area for resting if needed! Elevator is quite large for Paris standards, as well as the room and bathroom. Water comes out nice and hot in the shower and nice that there was a waterfall shower head option.

Did not have breakfast and did not use the spa, but nice to know there are options.

Would definitely stay here again during a future visit!

This is a fine hotel in the center of Paris with great staff that is very attentive and ready to provide great recommendations. The room itself is fine with everything necessary available. Surprising that there is no lotion or hair conditioner available from the hotel, and water bottles are billable. Prestige room is very roomy but the next room down (deluxe) feels small in comparison, not a subtle drop off. The staff really make this hotel and the location is excellent. Quite nook near Galleries Lafayette, Opera, and metro station.

Well we didn’t like the fact that getting into the hotel late in the evening was troublesome because one needed to ring a doorbell and wait till someone came to open the door. Secondly the dining options were very limited and inconvenient. You needed to wake up early to take advantage of the hotels continental breakfast. Lastly for the price of a one nights stay, one could have stayed in a better hotel with better accommodations. Will not recommend this hotel to family or friends.

It was our first time traveling with a baby and they did everything they could to make our stay easy from providing a crib to washing bottles for us. The art deco interiors were lovely and extra touches such as the private hire pool for an hour (small but well enjoyed by kids) and complimentary cake and tea & coffee elevated this above other 4 star hotels for us. Got coffee from the lounge in the am, was not told it would be 14euros for two coffee(which is free all afternoon) and tipped 5 euros. Canadian, I paid $57(CAD) for 4 coffees(two mornings with tips) Found that rather unpleasant given it was unexpected and the room was almost $400CAD a night.

The staff, amazing without a doubt but overall, I would not recommend. I didn’t find it worth it for the money.

The staff is extremely accommodating, particularly for us who do not speak French. The rooms are small but have just enough space and the aesthetics are very nice and sort of mid-century modern. They have a honor bar and complimentary tea service in the afternoon which we took advantage of. There is an incredible restaurant right down on the corner, Le Saotico, and several other restaurants and cafes in walking distance. We will definitely look to stay here again!

A beautifully designed hotel in a highly convenient location for walking down to the Seine and catching the Tuileries, Louvre etc. Exclusive use of the spa area was very welcome. Room was cosy and bathroom quite spacious. Minor criticism would be the improvements happening in the communal areas made them almost impossible to use and there was no honesty book for the bar so we didn't feel like we could take anything. The ground floor lacked atmosphere sadly.

The most central location to everything. Wife and I were able to walk everywhere and rarely had to take an Uber. Great refreshments downstairs from 1pm - 6pm each day. The day we left, our flight was delayed 6 hours and the staff were awesome about it. They let us store our luggage and even arranged a driver to the airport since there was a gas shortage in Paris. Highly recommend!!

This Is It - Hidden Gem in Paris

We had booked another hotel room (closer to the Trocedero Square) and it was like Motel 6 (cheap, worn) I chose to look for alternatives and found this HIDDEN JEWEL! Met at the front door, welcomed with warmth, smiles and “would you like a coffee?”The lobby is gorgeous- stylish and fun - exactly what you want in a Paris Hotel. I can’t even get into all the positives(spacious/stylish/quality amenities) - so many wonderful details missing in our other Paris Hotel. But what tops it off were the staff - EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER WAS WONDERFUL! So welcoming, helpful, friendly, happy. In particular Romaine was a shining star. So helpful with setting up our car for the airport, restaurant options AND helping get a reservation to visit a temp store that my pre-teen wanted to visit. Vincent and Housman were also just lovely. They just made you feel welcome and that they were glad to see you. So nice in a big city. Highly recommend- would be my first choice if I went back - no question! The best!

The people at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was well-sized with a large bathroom. The spa was fun to have privately, and very nice afternoon tea and snacks in the cafe area. Great location and walking distance to Louvre and Ile de la Cite.

The staff at the Saint Marc are the friendliest I have ever met in Paris! They were all very warm and helpful, from the front desk to the kitchen staff! Forgot my laptop charger and was surprised to see that they had one to borrow. My room was facing the street and I am an extremely light sleeper, so that was a little bothersome, but the room was impeccably decorated and very comfortable. Location is also great. Would stay again!

It was absolutely amazing! All of the staff was super nice and cared about us. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was perfect! The spa was also a plus and the fact that it could be privatised is great! I would come back anytime!!

Chic hotel in the middle of Paris

Great location in the middle of Paris near Opera Garnier.
Easy parking in a nearby building.
Decorated in a very pleasant art nouveau style, good quality furniture and lighting.
Comfortable bed and very good bathroom.
Free water and soft drinks in the minibar.
Very prompt, friendly and helpful service from the check-in guys, some indifferent attitude from other staff.
The breakfast slightly disappointing – the service was slow, the range of products limited, two mornings the small bacon slices were burned to a charcoal state, the third day the fruit salad was missing.
