We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Mondial, the Family Rooms on floor 4 were clean and tidy with lovely balconies. The road outside is very noisy, but the insulation blocks a lot of it. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Central location, about 20min walk to the Square. Rooms were also spacious. We didn't have a smoke smell which I was worried about, and the staff pointed out it was no smoking on arrival which was great too. Little bit of noise from bar above on one evening (music) which finished at 11pm on the dot.

Overall, it was a good hotel. Breakfast was okay and they transferred us to a better room upon request as what we had in mind when booking was 2 single beds instead of a 1 large bed. They do accomodate requests which is good. Heating and air conditioning is superb. It is also accessible and walking distance from the main attractions. The only down side was the reception upon our arrival. We arrived near 1am and there was no one in the reception so we had to wait for almost 30 mins until someone came. Cleanliness wise, its okay but we found a piece of used cotton buds just under the bed and my friend started to itch when he got under the duvet but as we turned on the heating, it wasn't much of an issue for us.

Regardless of when the customer leaves the hotel ( 4am) all POS ( points of sale )should be active and working. If I have paid with American Express every other time I’ve stayed at your hotel, I should have been able to pay with it, checking out at 4am.

The room was clean and the breakfast menu, while simple, was good. There wasn't any variety day to day which was slightly dissapointing. The coffee during breakfast was only coffee from the pot or an espresso from an older machine. The room was clean, although the heater didn't work as well as we liked. The area is quite walkable and you can get to the square in about 25 minutes. There is a grocery store nearby and a lot of restaurants in the area. The staff were good as well. The sauna was out more than it worked and the two times we tried to reserve it, it was broken. Overall, this was a decent hotel.

Our bedroom was spacious with an Olympic sized bed. Very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern with a big shower cubicle.
The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good range of dishes to choose from.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
My only minor complaint was that the rooftop bar was very smokey and uncomfortable to sit there. I believe there is a dedicated smoking section but this was was ignored. The smell was such that we stopped using the terrace bar.
Overall a great hotel in short walking distance to all the main sites and town centre. I would stay here again.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—they were genuinely kind, attentive, and friendly. The holiday decor for Christmas was magical, creating such a festive and cozy atmosphere.

Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning our days and staying connected.

The location couldn’t be better—close to all the main attractions yet peaceful enough to enjoy a restful night. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which I really appreciated. However, I was surprised that the hotel doesn’t provide an iron. When I asked, I was told they don’t have irons available for guests to use and instead offered to do it for me at a charge per item. I’ve never experienced this before, and I believe having an iron should be a basic amenity in any hotel.

Another downside was the service — the ladies working at breakfast and the receptionist during the day shift came across as rude. Guests should always be treated with respect, and unfortunately, that was lacking here.

Mondial Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a grand lobby, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and an exceptional staff that was very friendly and accommodating. A delicious breakfast was provided every morning in their dining room, which felt like being in a restaurant. I would absolutely recommend Mondial Hotel.

The property is beautiful and very clean. The check-in staff was warm and welcoming and I have to give a big shout out to the team at the bar and restaurant. The guys up there were amazing and made the experience feel elevated and enjoyable.

That said the air conditioning in the room did not work properly and the king beds are actually two double beds pushed together. If you are traveling solo do not expect to sleep comfortably in the center.

Unfortunately my experience at check-out was disappointing. A front desk woman loudly accused me of stealing a bottle of water even though I had clearly brought my own from a local supermarket. It happened to be the same brand they offer in the minibar but instead of handling the situation professionally she shouted across the hallway and created a scene. I could not help but feel she was speaking to me in a way that was dismissive and condescending possibly because of my age. It was uncomfortable and felt like discrimination. I will not be returning to this hotel.

A very smart hotel about a 15 minute walk from the main square in Tirana. The rooms are high quality, comfortable. The hotel has a nice rooftop bar, pool and sun terrace which was nice to use whilst there. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice.
Only slight downside with the hotel was the Wifi was a quite slow and kept cutting out. If that could be improved, it would have been a faultless stay.

Nice hotel to stay for one or two night if you like to explore Albania the following days to discover Tirana. . Walkable around for many restaurants and pubs. 15 minutes walking from the centre. It has nice restaurant and nice rooftop to enjoy a nice dinner or good drinks with affordable prices. The room what I got is large and spacious but my friend got very small room compared to mine. I didn’t find a tea maker in the room, in the checkout I did the remark and the receptionist by the way Miss Aida very lovely, said if I asked they could bring to me. They don’t have it in all rooms but they can provide. The breakfast start little late in the morning at 7:30, but it includes all what you need.

Located about a 25 minute walk to the centre it was in a lovely area with lots of bars and restaurants around.
The welcome was excellent and check-in easy. The room was large and comfortable, the only negative was no free water available in the room.
The restaurant was very good both for breakfast and dinner and there was also a roof top bar and restaurant with a small pool.
A very enjoyable couple of days.

The Mondial is a high end hotel in the central Tiranë. We were able to find on street parking next to the hotel thanks to onsite staff.

The hotel is quite elegant. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable.

We explored the area briefly but opted for dinner in the hotel dining room. The meal was excellent. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had on our trip, so far.

Located within walking distance to Skanderberg Square. It took 15 minutes at a leisurely pace. The hotel was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The staff assisted us with directions and calling for taxis as we needed them. We ate at the hotel restaurant two different times for dinner and the food was delicious and inexpensive. Our waiter was friendly and provided complimentary shots of Raki after our meals. The continental breakfast had a good selection of different fresh foods with juice, water, tea or coffee available and it comes with the cost of the room. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

NO AIR CONDITIONING IN MARCH,VERY NOISY LOCATION.
The property is advertised as having air conditioning. SO ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T MIND THE BUSY ROAD, I EXPECTED AIR CONDITIONING.
But the air conditioning isn't turned on till summer. So expect a very stuffy & hot room if you want to be able to sleep.
When I spoke to reception on the first morning about this they said open your windows. That was the solution, point blank. They are four lines of traffic outside the window with cars constantly beeping their horns. This didn't seem to matter to the receptionist and she wasn't very apologetic a bit blase, lacking some customer service skills, &left us dumfounded really, which spoiled our stay so I won't be going back.
This one member of staff let the bitter taste

On the 2nd day I emailed reception, when I didn't get reply, I emailed again from a different email account, they did offer to show me another room, but by this point I only had one night left. This was a different receptionist to the one I first spoke to, who was more helpful, the first one wasn't very helpful at all. It was 24 degrees, so I did not want the windows open all day heating up the room, and you can't sleep for the windows open due to the 4 lanes of traffic on a busy road , and a police station being next door. THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING IN MARCH.

Breakfast was nice, the terrace was lovely, the room was a very good size, housekeeping were great.

This was a really good stay. We ate at the hotel and had good service. The hotel is walkable to city centre but buses are cheap and frequent. It has a great rooftop bar which we also used We would recommend this hotel to others who want to spend a few days in Albania's capital.

I thought the staff were most helpful and welcoming the rooms were immaculately clean and well maintained , the breakfast was excellent and plentiful (home made fig fam was amazing) in a nice breakfast room ,
My only concern was the roof top bar (with good Albanian beer , I lked the dark Korce beer) however I must admit I felt it was too smoky , and felt smelly when leaving the area , I realise that is the norm all over Albania unfortunately thought glad there was no smoking in the dining area .

It was at the heart of the city centre. Very safe and central. Highly recommended. Got bored with the breakfast. More variety needs to be introduced. And we had to buy chocolate for the kids for breakfast. That was so wrong. Why do adults get tea and coffee and kids get nothing? Ambience was above average. Staff were warm and lovely. But food variety is a deal breaker.

The hotel is great. But the concierge staff had been rude to me and my friends. We have tried many times to ask politely for small details such as money exchange, breakdown of our total bill for the restaurant etc and they kept on answering me or my friends in a very condescending way. We all felt like they were being racist towards us or maybe looking down at us because we are very casual wearing type of tourist. Overall, the whole stay at the hotel had been great, the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff are nice. Everything is okay aside from the interactions we’ve gotten from the concierge.
