The staff at this hotel was absolutely incredible not only with me, but above and beyond for my daughter. So kind and caring. When we left my daughter made me promise to return to the same hotel on our next trip. The “secret alley” feel was special and so close to so many food options as well as two metro lines. Wonderful experience!

This is a cute, very charming hotel in a neat part of Paris. It, along with several other boutique hotels is tucked away just off a main boulevard but you have to look for the Hotels of Cite Bergere. Close to some of the covered passage ways that so much a part of the charm of Paris; Their breakfast buffet was really lovely.

We had a pleasant two night stay at the hotel. The room was perfect for our stay in Paris being close and walkable to most things we wanted to do. We frequent Paris and know how most rooms in the city are small. My only issue was when you showered water would come out of cubical really easily and all floor, flooding the bathroom. The breakfast was good and had a very good selection on offer. We also had luggage stored before and after check in/check out and there was no issue with that. Overall we had a nice stay and would return.

What can I say, the hotel was in a perfect spot, everything is near by, I mean you really don’t need a transportation to walk around the area, Paris opera only 5 minutes walk, La Louvre museum 15 minutes walk, Gallery Fayette ,5 minutes walk , I mean all kind of restaurants and store are in a walking distance. Love it 🙏

Very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly service. The room was small but nicely decorated and comfortable, quite clean and well-maintained, with high-quality L'Occitane amenities. Also, unlike many city-center hotels, it was very quiet, for a peaceful night's sleep, because the soundproofing is good and the window faced only an inner courtyard. The breakfast is quite good -- would be nice to have some non-dairy/lactose-free options.

Good location, but that’s about the only positive. Run down and faded. Will definitely not come back, even at half the price. Unpleasant smell, old carpets in the room. Difficult to find, in a gated street. Could have been great, if only the night porter bothered to answer the doorbell. As it was, I waited 15 min in the street at midnight to get through the gate, and in the end I sneaked in with guests at the neighbouring hotel. Oh, but the orange juice at breakfast was great.

When booking our room was sold as a \"superior room\", however when we walked into the room it was so tiny that i immediately became claustrophobic and I went back to request a different room. The 2nd room was still small but at least the window provided some sunlight. When booking ask for a higher floor so your window allows some sunlight. Also no kidding the elevator does NOT fit 2 people with suitcases. We had to go up one at a time. I was VERY VERY disappointed with this hotel. The folks at the front desk did the minimal required, only Pasqua was pleasant. One of the men at the front desk looked like i was inconveniencing him when we needed extra pillows.

No Wi-Fi but big room

Never had Wi-Fi entire time. Bathtub drain was clogged so we stood in a foot of water while we showered. When I brought it to their attention they said they didn’t know what to do. They tried giving us a hot spot for internet but that never worked. The room was large which was nice and ac worked great.

Location is good, staff were friendly at check-in, easy check-in, assisted with organizing taxis for the airport. Rooms were small, but clean. Elevator is very small, try to stay on a lower floor. We had two rooms on the 5th floor. Didn't use the wifi. Didn't have breakfast, but it seemed standard fare. Reasonable for the price. Would recommend to friends for weekend stays.

We stayed here one night before flying home and 4 nights another hotel considerably smaller. This tripple room was large and very comfortable, area with lots of restaurants. Bars, stores yet the hotel is quiet ...and off to the side from the noise. The only negative read the tiny ancient elevator. Don't know about breakfast, we ate out. Would stay here again.

Small boutique hotel tuck away from a very quiet and safe spot in the city. Pleasant staff who are very obliging and speak English. Accessible to all major CBD tourist attractions within walking distance. Lots of good restaurants around the area with menu in English. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent choice for free parking outside hotel

The main reason for choosing this hotel was the availability of parking. This is quite unusual for hotels in the centre of Paris. It worked out perfectly for us. It is limited though and is on a first come first served basis. Hotel was fine. Rooms spotlessly clean but just a little bit tired/dated. We didn’t have breakfast so am unable to comment. Overall very good value for money as in an excellent location in the heart of the city.

Overall I'd recommend the hotel with a few caveats. \
1. he service was incredible from when we first arrived to when we left. Great staff.
2. The pictures were misleading as the rooms were quite small and it was very noisy.
3. The noise from outside woke us up each night we stayed. And the room walls were very thin so we heard anyone in the halls or next rooms and it was quite disruptive.

Bad service!!!

Only good thing was the location (lots of places to eat around). Elevator broken for 4 days, we had to use the spiral stairs to the 4th floor every single day (which is not bad, but after a whole day walking around the city, you kind of want to use the elevator). Fire (false) alarm woke us up 2 days early in the morning. They advertise the hotel as if it had self laundry facilities, but it was a service with a charge. Some staff at the front desk were helpfull, but others not at all. House keepers would go into the room even with the sign of not disturbing. It was a terrible experience overall, there are many hotel options, stay away from this one.

Hotel is tucked away from the main road so very little street noise. We stayed in a family room and had plenty of space for 2 children and 2 adults. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by.

Two minute walk to the metro and only a short walk to many top tourist spots.

Would definitely recommend.

Conveniently located next to the subway station

The mini suite is comfortable for a family of 3 or even 4. The triple room is too small for 3 people. There is a 2x3.5 ft elevator! Good for luggages only but at least there is an elevator. Staff is helpful, particularly Diddier and Jerome. I would stay again at this hotel.

First let me thank Jerome for his exceptional service. He made our stay! Jerome was very helpful with directions, suggestions and just general conversation. The hotel is a 3 star boutique in a cluster of other small hotels. The rooms while small by US standards not small by European. They were clean, comfortable. The carpet could be cleaner but for the price you can't beat its location. This hotel is 1/2 a block to metro; across the street from several places to eat. The Opera district is bustling and plenty to do.

Fantastic Heritage Hotel in a prime walking Locati

This hotel has old world charm that is located in a fantastic location. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has 24 hour desk service...this is important because Paris is much of an evening city as it is a day city....ie going to a late show Hotel Staff can direct you which is the best way to get there.

Other great features of the hotel are its large windows thatcool off a room in minutes. The hotel has been updated to have an elevator. Many older ones donot have one!

We had a room for a family of four and it was excellent.

We would recommend this Hotel to friends and family.

Nice little hotel at nice location, close to Opera and city center. Lots of good restaurants around. Very helpful staff.
However, TV doesn't work the way it was advertised in the hotel booklet. Instead of 3-4 English speaking channels - only 1 (CNN) and that one often didn't work. We were there during heavy rain period, and unfortunately there was not much to do as most museums,parks and cemeteries were closed due to the weather condition, so this feature was quite inconvenient.
Hairdryer in the bathroom was broken, and the hotel provided a hand-held one, but the power outlet in the bathroom was also broken; so not much use of that one too :(

My Mother first trip to Paris

This was my moms first trip to Paris and we loved to be in one of authentic Parisian neighborhood. Many things to do and see around the location was great. I loved the old building with the new décor inside. I loved the contemporary furniture in the rooms and the details in the bathroom and shower. Needless to say the say were helpful and courteous.
First class! I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel inthe 'Opera' district.

Excellent hotel, 100m from the Metro, extremely well appointed. The ONLY drawback was the limited parking (5 spaces) and the tight leaving the hotel 'courtyard' by car. That said the staff were extremely helpful in facilitating parking.

Small rooms, very dodgy area

My partner and I had stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago and were keen to go back. Although the hotel has been modernised since then, the rooms are now very small, and the walls are wafer thin. You can hear people talking, and doors slamming all night.

More importantly, the area that the hotel is in is now very unpleasant. On both nights we were there, outside the hotel gangs of youths would congregate, and drunks would shout and swear before being moved on by the police. One such drunk took to shoving and pushing anyone that walked by!

So, while the hotel itself may be clean and tidy, beware the small noisy rooms, and the unsafe location.

Nice quaint little hotel.

Although some of the furnishings are worn out with paint peeling is areas, the hotel is charming and just what one might expect for an old family owned business in a very old building. There is no elevator so be prepared to haul luggage up the concrete spiral staircase. Sylvie is most accommodating with suggestions for food and shopping. If you are looking for posh surroundings, this might not be the place for you, but its atmosphere is welcoming and the service is superb. If you want a view of the river, be sure to ask for a room that overlooks the street and river. Some rooms face the building next door.

Short family trip to enjoy Paris. Hotel is very well placed in a decent area and reasonably central. Seems to have been recently renovated and that shows in being in great condition. Important things like the air conditioning work very well and are pretty quiet. The area is also peaceful as the hotel is in an area no used by cars or other traffic. Lots of places to eat nearby, do try the ice cream from the shop by the corner! A Carrefour local type of supermarket is also very handy. Metro is also very convenient. Probably wouldn't recommend breakfast here as for the price you can get much nicer fare by just walking around a bit. Staff just fine, hotel very clean and presentable. Wifi is free and works perfectly. For the price excellent value.

There is -not- parking. The hotel has a total of 4 slots and the staff uses 1-2 of them. Nearest parking was several blocks away and cost $31 a day. Aside from that the Hotel was very clean and the hotel staff spoke fluent English. Room was very small but had a great location near a metro station and night life. Great option if you flew in and don't need to park

Think twice before you stay here.

We were very disappointed in this hotel. The location was extremely inconvenient. We had chosen it because it said they had free parking. That was a plus and, luckily, we arrived in time to get the last available spot. The location is terrible, down a tiny ally that you would surely miss. I had to get out of our car and walk up the road to find the entryway. The neighborhood reminded me on NY's lower east side, before gentrification. There was also lots of commercial buildings. The only advantage to this location is that it is easy to access the road to the airport. There were little to no services available at the hotel, like a bar or restaurant. We could not fit 2 people and luggage in the lift. Room was ridiculously small. With so many other hotels in Paris to chose from, think twice before you chose this one. It was not at all memorable.

EXPEDIA!!!!! THERE ARE ONLY 4 CAR PARKING SPACES. Don't rely on parking your car at the hotel. Public car park some distance away. Parked car for four days 92 Euro.

As for the Hotel, no problems at all. Staff are very helpful and its kept clean and tidy. Good breakfast if you wish to partake. Its right in the centre of Paris and so we walked to most of the attractions, Really enjoyed our stay.

The best part is that literally one minute away across the road is the old Bouillon Chartier Restaurant which serves fantastic French food at 2/3rds the cost of everywhere else, with a great atmosphere. Beware you may have to cue.

Hotel was in a good location, close to many restaurants and shops. Nice area. Tourist attractions walkable, metro stations near by. Hotel staff was friendly, car park we were directed to was nearby. By reading the leaflet we found out there was a reduced rate for hotel guests. I think it would have been better if reception had advised us when directing us there, since the leaflet needed to be stamped by the hotel in order to receive the discount. We had to ask for this, where I think this should be standard. The reduced rate was considerable, so had we not realised this in time that would have cost us 57€ extra.

Stayed here for 3 nights in October 2014 with my partner and our two kids. The room was more like a small suite with a WC, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The kids had full size beds in the living room which was great as we could close the door when they went to bed and read / watch tv / etc.

This has to be one of the easiest locations to start a day. Even if you do not use the Hotel breakfast facilities there are just so many cafes nearby to grab a coffee/croissant. Was a bit noisy in the (front) bedroom sometimes at late night/early morning owing to cobbles in roadway, and revellers from nearly hotels/theatre. Really good value for money and very clean and bright.

OK place.

People are friendly. Location is ok, take a 1/2 hour to any sites.
The hotel is good for business or a short stay. Bath room is to small
and the location is down an a long hallway, Strange.

Fabulous location

Great hotel in a fantastic location. We had a suite which was good size for four of us. The room was very clean. A bit hot - and a little noisy at night with window open (but you are in central city location!).
We walked to the hotel from the Gard du Nord in about 10-15 minutes. We only used the hotel as a base - we ate our meals out and about, as there were so many nice restaurants and cafe's nearby.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Good location

The room was small but clean. The hotel was hard to find and located in a shady looking street. It's very close to the metro station so easy to get around Paris via metro. About 20 minutes walk to the Louvre.

A great find!

Booked this very last minute on a drive towards Paris from NW France. Very clean great location. It advertises parking which is a bit cheeky as it only has a very small number of spaces. However, we were directed to a car park a few minutes walk away which cost 42 Euro for the night - so not an issue. If driving there and using a Sat Nav when it takes you down Rue de Bergere it will tell you to turn left and yet there is no left turning on first appearance. Keep you eye out for 2 arches which lead into squares where the hotels are. Corona Opera is the 2nd arch. Overall would recommend.

Close to Theater and Opera

Great hotel in a bustling neighborhood close to theaters and opera. Not one of my favorite Paris neighborhoods but the hotel is nice. Free parking but you may have to throw a fit upon check in because there are only a few spots right in front of the hotel. The hotel is on a very narrow alley / street with other hotels and a little hard to find. The room was very nice - especially the bathroom. We didn't eat the breakfast at the hotel because it was way too expensive.

Nice small hotel well located in the Opera area.
Difficult to access by car (narrow street) but we have been able to park (2-3 places available only)
Small room but clean and nice.
Pleasant staff.
