My kids loved the unlimited included sparkling water tap, and the breakfast (but this was not included, we paid 18 euros for adults and 9 for kids). My kids loved the rocket and airplane decorations.

Lovely, calm hotel in great area

I spent 2 nights here, as part of a busy 10 day work trip to New York, Paris and London. The Windsor Hotel was my favourite of the three stays. Staff were kind, the hotel was tucked away on a quiet and atmospheric street, in a lively and lovely part of Paris, and my room was SO comfortable, with a real sense of calm to it. I'd definitely return. Thank you!

This is a lovingly maintained hotel in the 9th arrondissement. The constant improvements are clear in the charming lobby and classy conversion of the basement into a business center. Both are done with style.
Those who have spent time in Paris will appreciate the AC and clever incorporation of an elevator in the original stairway’s original central column.
The rooms were clean, spacious for Paris, and the bathrooms recently updated.
The only thing lacking was not tea kettle or way to have hot drinks in the room or lobby. In winter this was missed.
The location is ideal. Tucked in a quiet street and a short walk to various metro stations, restaurants, bistros, and shops it is an excellent center point to explore Paris from.

The night clerk only gave us one key, and was upset that we got a better rate on Expedia for $172 a night, when he wanted to charge us $240 (The manager fixed that issue next day). The rooms are EXTREMELY small, the second bed sits under the TV. So if you are on that bed, you cant watch. A/C was poor, hot in the room. One elevator, can hold one person comfortably. No bottles of water, you have to fill a container at a fountain.

We loved the boutique style and uniqueness of this hotel, it was a nice quaint street but lots of access to fab restaurants, it was a good location with several metro stations within a 10 minute walk making it easy to reach any part of Paris. The hotel itself was a wonderful old building, the room was cosy as a family room, with the sofa bed having 2 single beds which my teenage daughters appreciated rather than sharing, there isn’t a bar but drinks are available from reception if you prefer to stay in rather than the many bars in the area, we would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel and a great location. It is quite expensive however for the size space we had. Our room was about 300 square feet with two twin beds and two twin beds that folded out from a couch and it was over 600 a night. I think they could have included breakfast at those prices
That being said, it was still a lovely hotel and has lots of charm but you definitely paid for it

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. Very close to many attractions. Walkable to Montmartre & many other areas. Funky decor, clean, shower pressure good, and reception staff were so warm, amicable & helpful. It made our stay there feel so much more welcoming and chaleureux! Great location, on a quiet little street, but close to walk to restaurants, metro, and Gare du Nord. Room for our family was great, good size, 2 twin beds for the kids, and double for us. I loved the view from the 5th floor room of the sky and rooftops of neighboring buildings. A peaceful retreat in Paris!

The hotel Manager Vincent was fabulous along with all of the employees. Vincent was so helpful, courteous, accomodating and kind. He mapped us out some sites to see with suggestions and directions. They stored our lugguage for a few hours after we checked out and then arranged a cab for us at 3:00 pm. The hotel was very nice with a quick walk to cafes and the Metro stops. We plan on going back and staying when we get to Paris next time!

The gentleman who checked us in, Vincent was a riot. Good guy. My only knock on the place was 1) the tiny elevator (though it was a smaller hotel, so understandable. And 2), the AC for the 4th floor was not strong enough. Though with that said, it was 101F one of the nights we were there, so not exactly normal weather expectations when the AC was installed.
Overall, I liked the place and would stay there again for sure.

Hidden gem in a small and quiet street within a busy area. 13 minutes walk from Gare du Nord, several shopping and restaurant options around the corner. The hotel is small, plain and cosy. The rooms are charming and clean. The manager and his staff are extraordinarily polite and helpful (even to Germans, not something obvious in Paris). I would certainly come again.

The Windsor Hotel Opera is a great place to stay to explore Paris. It is close to lots of shops, great cafes and restaurants and easy access to the metro to get wherever you want to go. The hotel was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. There was a warm welcome and we felt at home with the very friendly staff. A great place to stay!

Had a very good stay, no complaints. It’s on a quiet street so didn’t hear any noise from outside. Sizeable and comfortable rooms. We chose this hotel partly because it’s a 10-15min walk from Gare du nord which was handy for the Eurostar. It’s also close to many bars and restaurants.

Hotel is in a decent location for the Rex Cinema and for the Metro, down a side alley. Very olde worlde hotel, but it shows signs of its age, especially in the soundproofing between floors, I was on the first floor and could hear everything in the room above... The staff were lovely, however the cleaning was lacking, my bed sheets weren't changed in the 3 days I was there and my room wasn't cleaned at all on the last full day. There were no in-room tea/coffee facilities which was disappointing. Overall I thought it was OK for what I paid but I wouldn't pay the full rate for this hotel.

We had a quick stay here and it was very comfy once my mom (who was on her first EU visit) go over the small elevator and having to take the stairs.The rooms were quite spacious for the area. I couldve almost slept in the bathroom it was that big. The staff were extremely accommodating and when the room got chilly they brought up a heater that we could use. My only issue was that while there I received a bite on my ankle. It appeared to be from a spider and not bed bugs. If you use the blankets, please be sure to shake them out as I slept on the couch pull out and used the blankets in the closet. I had a physician give me antibiotics for the bite and it is clearing up. I in no way want this to overshadow the accommodations as I would stay there again if my other hotel recommendations were completely booked.

Hotel was good location, close to Metro & 10-15 min walk to the Opera House. The front desk person during the day was great & super helpful, but the person at night was snarky, rude & condescending. Room and bathroom were great, enough space for 2 people. We found a few hairs in our bedding, but the next set were clean.

Very cute little boutique hotel. After exiting with my tail between my legs from a hideous room in a not so far hotel, I booked myself in here and was very happy I did. One thing I will say is that the room did not have a window, it had a door which led to a small square outside the room. There was a lack of light and view in the room.

We loved everything about it! The location was adorable, off a quiet, cobblestone street. The decor was fabulous (airplane motif in the lobby and main reception rooms). It's hard to describe without making it sound childish, but it was quirky, mod and charming. We loved the tiny elevator, the twisting stairs up to our room, and our lovely, elegant (and very large) room under the eves. It was practically my favorite part of our whole Paris trip!

Good location and very safe and pretty area to walk to food and shops. A typical, affordable Paris Hotel, tucked in a back street with excellent staff, a good sized room and bathroom when everything in Paris is small. 20min car ride to Eiffel Tower - linger in traffic and when I add up the taxi/Uber and lime scooter costs I would spend more on accom next time and get closer to tourist area but the local area was just that - local not super touristy. Happening bars, beautiful people all around so a great Paris experience.

Room with no air-conditioning

I stayed at Windsor Hotel Opera in the last week of June when the severe heatwave hit Paris. When I checked in, I have been told that air-conditioner in the room allocated to me had been malfunctioning. I refused to take the room because of the alert that the temperature could hit nearly 40°C in coming days, and also the room was on the ground floor facing the street anyone can access, i.e. not be able to open the windows without closing a shutter. However, the reception only offered a desk fan or free cancellation since the hotel was fully booked - but who wants to start looking for an available hotel on the first day of their arrival from abroad, in very busy season where almost all the rooms in Paris are fully booked? No compensation has been offered despite the fact that I reserved a room based on the understanding that air-conditioning would be naturally included as it claimed in Hotel.com website. According to the reception, they have arranged a technician to fix the problem, but as expected, no improvement has been made during my 2 nights stay at the hotel. I couldn't get good night sleeps during the stay, due to the hot room and noisy desk fan. It's a pity that the hotel have not provided what they promised for, while the receptionists are actually polite and the location of the hotel is excellent.

The hotel is in the city center, reasonably priced. It has room for 4 guests without charging huge amount for each extra guest. The room is on the top floor, thus has an even ceiling. You could bump your head if you walk too close to the wall that has lower ceiling. But this is not a show stopper: we don't still in the room except for sleeping.

Such a lovely place and the staff were wonderful. Greg was so helpful leading up to our trip via email and gave some great advice when we were there re: places to eat etc. The hotel was clean and decorated lovely. We were so grateful there was a thermostat in the room as we were able to turn it off and we slept really well! This place is in a great location too, around 25 min walk from Gare Du Nord and 25 min walk to the Louvre.

I had to hail inside the lobby area so that somebody finally popped out. we were given room that was very small, so very small in fact that we could only open one suitcase at a time on the floor, and had to relocate the paper bin to the toilets to do so. we had several pieces of luggage but were given a room accessible only via stairs and nobody was available to help with the luggage . We had a great stay at WHO. Everything is close by. We met the owner, Vincent, who was very helpful and accommodating with transfer and restaurant suggestions. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’m travelling with my 81 year old mom and my sister is handicapped. My sister was quite happy with the roomy washroom. 🙂

Very quiet hotel in Paris. We needed a place to spend one night after a long flight. The staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioner had broken down that day and we had to make do with a fan. The management offered us free use of the mini bar to make up for the discomfort, a kind gesture. The room lacked space to move around and opening suitcases was a little challenging but for one night, it was not a problem. I recommend this hotel and I will stay there again if I need to.

This caused us to be thirty minutes late to a scheduled appointment. Was given excuse that it was rush hour. On other occasion had an attendant walk us through train schedule to take a day trip.

Good hotel and price for the location. It really is a convenient place to stay! Not by any means the most luxurious and it definitely is a 1 man elevator or luggage only elevator but that's minimal issues. Theirs a bit of mold on the upper parts of the shower walls but Being that the ceiling is quite high I assume no one can reach up their to clean.

Would I stay here again? Yes would it be my first choice without researching another place no, but overall it's good

The staff are really professional and friendly. The room was clean and it was great to have proper flooring and not an old filthy carpet. It’s fantastically well situated, close to the Opera and the Grand Magasins, easy to access the Marais or Montmartre and also possible to walk to Gare du Nord (which we had to do when our Uber did not show up).

Nice hotel tucked away in a quiet side street

Spent 3 nights at WHO with family, enjoyed the stay. This hotel is easily accessible from 2 Metro stations, rooms are clean and updated, great in room wifi & internet access. This hotel is about 15-20 min ride away from main attractions. If we visit Paris again would definitely stay here.

Convenient and nice hotel

My girlfriend and I had a lovely few days in Paris, saying at the WHO. The neighbourhood was very charming - everything was within walking distance. The room was nice; bigger than we expected. The only negative thing was a toxic smell in the room. It was most likely from a newly painted bathroom.

Lovely hotel!

The Windsor Hotel Opera is beautifully tucked away on a small side street so it's away from the hustle & bustle of the city. We loved the room decor, bathroom, location & service! Would definitely stay again!

Cosy reasonably priced and good location

everything was great.
Only minus was a Double bed had 2 mattresses stuck together and they kept moving apart which was uncomfortable for sleeping.
When booking, i have put a specific request to have One large mattress, which was ignored.
