Great hotel for its price range. The location is excellent — most of the main attractions and excursion are within walking distance, which made the city very convenient.

The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. I only had breakfast twice, but it was very tasty. There was scrambled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, coffee, juices, sweets, and fresh fruit — a great way to start the day.

And of course, a special thank you to the receptionist who truly made my stay wonderful. Amazing service, warm smiles, friendly conversations, and such positive energy! She really created a welcoming atmosphere.

I would love to come back again and again. Thank you!

Room was adorable and large- staff were very kind and helpful. However, the demo and rehab of adjacent rooms beginning early in the morning was not exactly what we expected. The elevator was tied up during the day for tradesmen and the noise from across and in the hall was hard to tolerate early. Location is great as is staff. Hopefully the rehab work is completed soon.

The reception staff were very friendly and I was allowed into my room early because it was ready. The room and bathroom were very large, especially in Paris. The bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to many attractions & 2 different Metro stations.

It’s about 18 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord and the staff were nice but the good points end there. It looked nothing like the photos and had water damage on the ceiling of the bathroom that hadn’t been repaired. It doesn’t have gas central heating so heating comes from a fan heater alone and there is no heated towel rail. I was so cold the first night I thought I’d have to change hotels. My double bed was two singles pushed together. The staircase leading up to the rooms was scary to walk up and down alone at night (not well-lit). The area is fine to walk in during the day and early evening but not past about 8pm I’d say. The windows in my room were covered over by builder’s tarpaulin so I couldn’t see out and air couldn’t get in so was very hot during the day. The building work was extremely noisy. Unfortunately wouldn’t stay again!

I stayed in this hotel just for a night with my two kids. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable... receptionist were nice and spoke in English.. we also were able to leave our bags for a day.
The location is good as it is close to tram and some nice restaurants, coctail bars. We felt safe walking around this area.
The only thing we were missing, the breakfast person weren't speaking in English...and breakfast were extremely basic for the price. Also, do not expect to chill in the loby until late as there are no bar or restaurant open till late inside the hotel.
In overall, the stay was good, would come back again.

Amazing location and kind, accommodating staff

Great location. Close to lots of public transport and I would arguably say walking distance for lots of the attractions. Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. I was able to check in early and was given a complimentary upgrade. Breakfast was good, I didn't spend too long as I had a very early start but it had everything you'd expect from a continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

Stay here when you are in Paris!

This is a very nice and quaint place. I was only here for one night but would return here for a multi-night stay. Within walking distance of the Louvre and really close to the Metro to get to other sights. Also within walking distance of Gare du Nord if you don't have lots of luggage. (I had a backpack). Quiet but still close to some nightlife.

Owners and staff are all lovely!

I would stay here again! Thank you!

The woman at front desk the first few days was very nice however the woman last 2 nights was very rude. The hotel/rooms are run down, mildew kn ceiling in bathroom, peeling paint, ACs kept stop working and cleaning ladies use elevator so guests have to use stairs.

Ok for a short break....

Quirky ... but not quirky enough!

Just need to try a little harder, a little more flair in the rooms, and a little more ....quirkiness!

Bathrooms leave a little to be desired...the bar needs wines (it's France!)....and the patisseries will give you a more satisfying breakfast!

Sweet spot in Paris

This was a perfect place while traveling with our adult son. We had two bathrooms and separate sleeping spaces but all in one place for a good price. Staff was so helpful with directions and recommendations. Close to metro and walking distance to Seine. Breakfast nice and cheery.

The rooms are a little rough around the edges but everything works, the beds are really comfortable and the mini fridge is also excellent. A Hidden Gem!

Super little place to stay. Perfect location - 15 mins walk from Gare du Nord and 15 mins walk to Les Halles. Aurelie was so warm and welcoming and very helpful with advice for local restaurants. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and dark - no sunlight waking us at sunrise. Local area has lots of restaurants and shops and we felt very safe and so close to the metro. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much- you made our stay wonderful!

We had just come off a stay at a location in London, which was fair at best and we were so thankful and pleasantly surprised at the far better accommodations, wonderfully helpful staff, clean and spacious beautiful room at this hotel. It was a fantastic location just one block away from the metro and several great dining options. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

The room is bigger than you would typically find in Paris city centre which was great. It was very clean and well presented. Bed was comfortable and the air con was ice cold. Great for a 3 star. The bathroom was a little tired/basic but again large and everything you could expect from a 3 star. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

This hotel is in a good area of Paris. The hotel is clean and has been renovated. There is air conditioning although it's not super strong. I found on some nights we were still feeling hot-the temperature in Paris was 30 celcuis when we were there. The staff were super nice and helpful when we asked questions.

Very quaint and clean hotel. The blond lady who greeted us upon arrival was so friendly, knowledgable and just fantastic. The rest of the staff was nice, but nothing like this lady. Our room was small, but clean with a huge bathroom. No real sitting area. The beds were very comfortable. The elevator is small, we were 3 people and could just fit in together, but fast. The complimentary breakfast was good. No hot foods like eggs or bacon, although you could soft boil an egg. The cold foods were a wide variety and delicious. Great restaurants on the nearby street. Safe area, walkable and some historic sights within walking distance. Overall it was a great hotel. Would stay there again and have already recommended to friends who are visiting Paris in the fall.

This hotel was welcoming and quiet, even though it's only half a block from a very busy street. Our room was clean and comfortable, although getting luggage up the last flight of stairs was a bit of a struggle. Linens were in good shape and the bed was firm. The shower, if you are over 5'4\", will be a challenge as the sloping roof leaves little head room in that area. Otherwise, the quad room was very comfortable for two parents with two older kids along. Local restaurant, Metro and laundry services were appreciated. The dining area was comfortable and we enjoyed a relaxed breakfast every morning.

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station. There are tons of restaurants nearby. We chose this hotel as they were one of the only ones we could find that had a room that could accommodate our family of 4.

There was a tiny elevator but we still had to carry our luggage up the last floor.

This hotel, and the staff, were wonderful. They were helpful and kind, and engaging. We had a wonderful breakfast woman who always greeted us with an amazing smile, and colourful hair! She brightened our mornings immediately 😊. The hotel is excellently located, and in a safe area. Very close to Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg st-denis metro stations. We also walked to all main Paris attractions. We would most definitely stay here again!
