I have stayed here many times and location is very good. It is always clean and the staff is attentive. I find the rooms and especially the bed is starting to feel like they need an upgrade though.

Paris is great

Have stayed at Aida Opera for many years. The location is excellent. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. The rooms are starting to look tired though. The carpet in the room has stains on it. The curtains are generally not in good shape.

We have stayed here before and as previously stated we found the staff pleasant and helpful,and the hotel conveniently situated for transport and for walking to the Grands Magazins It was less than 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar terminal at the Gare du Nord. The kosher breakfast was ideal for us but on the first morning we felt that it needed topping up when we came down. We took a slightly larger room this time which had good storage and hanging space. Would be happy to stay here again

Good option, easy access to Gare du Nord and metro lines. Many eating options nearby, mainly Asian. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was good, the mattress was a bit hard and wobbly for my taste but typical of French 3*. Stayed with my 12 yr old daughter. We opted for breakfast included for convenience and vfm but our biggest disappointment was no proper boulangerie croissants, more a kind of patisserie thing. Overall though v pleased with our choice. Merci.

We were given room 39 on our stay. The bed has a huge sag in the middle. The mattress was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.
The faucet drips on the floor, the door to the courtyard didn’t close.
When I went back and asked to be moved, I was told they were fully booked and that they were “desoler” . When someone is sorry about an experience, they actually try to make it right…nope not this place. Avoid room 39! It’s the run down room

Best Paris experience ever!!

This hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of lots of stuff and the metro. In an old Paris buiding but newly refurbished with necessaries like usb ports and a fridge. The staff was amazing, especially Robert, who was full of helpful ideas and cheerfully found answers to all my questions. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Very comfortable bed. Incredible view with a charming balcony that glowed with the sunset and sunrise. HUGE room comparatively to my budget stays in Europe. Easy to access and friendly staff. Highly recommend. — oh, and the AC was a welcomed blessing in the August heat.

Conveniently close to Grands Boulevards and 10-15 minutes walk to Galeries Lafayette and Garnier Opera. Hotel is well maintained and our air conditioned room was clean and well appointed. No kettle in the room but tea and coffee making facilities in the foyer. Staff are pleasant and helpful and there is a kosher breakfast available. We have stayed here previously and would be happy to do so again.

The room was nice and clean. Washroom seemed recently renovated and upgraded. Bed was comfy and the outlet plugs had USB ports which was great to charge our phones. Front desk service was exceptional, extremely nice and helpful. I wish the room had more counter space and the closet space was very small. Very nice area and restaurants across the street as well as 5 min away walking distance. Overall we enjoyed thr stay.

The hotel was very pretty modern BUT we had ants in our room and they did not change our room . They said they were full. The next day we came back to our room to smell bug spray and our windows opened. We complained again and they finally moved us to another room. They expected us to sleep in that room . No compensation or concern. I have Asthma and can not be breathing chemical smells. Great location

This hotel was in a great location. Tons to do around the hotel and around 1 mile walk to everything you would want to see. We did Uber everywhere and it was easy to do. Got the biggest room available and it was good enough for 2 adults and a child. Spent 8 nights there. Would stay there again.

The hotel Metro expectations as far as the size of room and bathroom. However, the customer service was horrific. Furthermore, the front desk charged me 24 Euro for one coffee, one cup of fruit and one pastry because they said my kids ate two breakfasts at 12 euros a piece. This was ridiculous completely egregious, and it ruined the end of our stay. I would NOT recommend staying here because there are plenty of better options in the same area.

Staff pleasant and helpful.Several metro lines close by and the hotel is a short walk from Galeries Lafayette and the Garnier Opera house. Our room had been modernised and fairly well fitted out but there wasn’t a lot of space and although there was a hanging rail we could have done with some shelves or drawers for our clothes. It suited us that the breakfast was kosher. We have stayed here before and should we return to Paris would be quite happy to stay here again.

Ants everywhere in the room - on the bed, in the bathroom. If you leave any food in the room you will wake up to hundreds of them munching on your food. Disgusting.

Our professional camera equipment was stolen right from the lobby seen in the hotel's advertisement pictures - in bright daylight - and 4 feet away from the completely incompetent receptionist. When we asked for a supervisor there was no on available for over a day. Nobody helped us in any way, they wouldn't even call the police and were generally blocking rather than assisting the investigation. My suspicion, supported by others who witnessed this brazen robbery, is that someone among the hotel staff was in on the theft. Apart from this very frustrating experience, the hotel staff was generally unfriendly and incompetent, even before the theft of our equipment. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

The only complaints I have is that I returned to my room at 3-4pm and my room had still not been made up. Also on one of the mornings I stayed there , when I went to take my shower there was no hot water. I was informed they were working on it and by late afternoon I had hot water

This hotel is so smart - very modern and stylish. We had a room on the 5th floor (2nd & 5th floors have balconies) so an amazing large balcony, modern comfortable bed and cool art everywhere. Shower is a waterfall / huge head one which is fabulous.
Went for my mums bday so very happy with this choice!

Upon arrival I was informed that I would have to pay almost $200 extra dollars because we had a third person- even though I booked a room that accommodated four. They said the extra charge was to open the bunk bed and for cleaning. I advised we did not need either service for an extra $200, but they were unable to make any changes.

Hotel was fine, nothing fancy but in a relativity good location. However for the extra money and lack of transparency with booking - would definitely stay somewhere else.

We had a great time! Our room was ready early and the staff was soooo nice! The room was very cute and clean. It was in a good location. A little far to walk to the Eiffel Tower and that area, but it was not an expensive Uber ride. When we go back, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!!

We stayed for a weekend in Sept 19. The staff were lovely, they couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are decent for the price. My only issue was that our room smelt of smoke a few times. I was trying to work out where it was coming from, i think it was from the street outside so there isn't much the hotel can do.

Nice to have all-day coffee/tea in the lobby area, plus free afternoon snacks and juices. Staff were very friendly, warm and helpful. Location was central to the theatre district and a 15min walk from Gare du Nord. Room was clean, compact and cosy with a double bunk sofa bed which was innovative and space-saving. Would stay at this property again if visiting the same area, and would recommend to others.

Staff of the reception is friendly and efficient and tries to fulfill every wish. Room was very spacious and provided view to Sacre Coeur. Five Metro stations close by allowed us to go in every direction and made sight seeing easy. Bars, restaurants and supermarket are in walking distance. We did not miss anything.

Although there was a fridge in the room, a sign in the lobby said no eating or drinking in the room, but also advised that guests could not sit in the hotel’s breakfast eating area either if they wanted to eat a snack. Apparently the hotel expected guests to snack while standing by the snack table or while standing on the sidewalk. We found this a ridiculous rule for a 4 star hotel. Other than that, we liked the hotel.

I read many mixed reviews about this hotel so was a bit worried whether it would be ok. To my surprise, everything was great! The location is quite central and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room wasnt too spacious but clean, beds were comfy. The quality/price ratio very good ! Am very happy with our choice :)

On entry the hotel looks unique and glamourous. But that's the extent of it. The problems are
- The key card worked to unlock the room door but the door would not open or close once opened. At night we went out thinking the door had locked but it had not so anyone could have entered. Then in the morning we went out for breakfast and on return the door was jammed it would not open . Initially the staff were dismissive \"it must be we aren't applying pressure\" and didn't even come to check. Second time of going down to report, that I still couldn't access my room, they came up. They did eventually open it but were obviously aware the mechanism or door had a problem as the staff said it happens as the door is heavy... No apology for the impact on our stay.
- The WiFi was non existent in the hotel. Terrible nothing which is hugely disappointing for a hotel in a central area of a capital city. Meant planning excursions had to wait until we were outside of the hotel & using roaming.
- there were no tea/coffee facility in the room and visitors were expected to go down to the main reception and self service for hot drinks.
- I had specified in my booking for two single beds and was given a double. Poor attention to detail.

Overall the hotel is overpriced for what it is the anxiety of the door ruined our stay/experience and staff were nonchalant about how we felt. I wouldn't visit again.

The property is under renovations — which we weren’t aware of. My room was fine, but we were a family of 10 traveling together and two of the four rooms had no AC during a heatwave. The hotel was well aware that the air was not working as they made a comment about my room having AC because I was on the 6th floor. We then had to move people around to fit into rooms with air. Took the management over a full day to address the issue.

Everyone was beyond lovely at the hotel.... with the exception of the night concierge Wilfred. He shouldn’t be working in hospitality. Rooms were a little small- towels were a little old- breakfast was eh. The hotel was in the midst of getting a face lift and the photos definitely were misleading. All in all- it was fine but nothing special and despite lovely people working there- We wouldn’t stay there again. And we wouldn’t recommend it.

After research for so many paris hotels , we choose Hotel Aida Opera because we like the location , it' s close to metro and bus stop, the hotel has been renovated very nicely and looks elegance as a boutique hotel. The room we have has a king size bed and spacy for Paris hotel.We especially like Brice, his hospitality and his work etique, always helpful to show us places to go and best way to the metro. Eventhough he is very busy with customers but he is also patient and polite. If we were be back to Paris again, we will still stay in Hotel Aida Opera, a hotel that put so much taught for customers and classy!

The front staff were amazing; so professional and polite. The cleaning of the rooms left much to be desired. My pillow case was dirty when checking in and when asked to be changed, they just put the dirty pillow on my husbands side of the bed. There was a dirty Kleenex on floor that was on floor when we checked into room and still on floor when we checked out. The bathroom sink did not drain well and is gross. Positives: Close to several metro stations. Snacks were a nice touch, coffee available 24 hours and front desk staff were amazing!

There was no place to put your luggage other than one small luggage rack. The hotel is only a. Few blocks from the metro entrance and of course near lots of places to eat

Lovely hotel, shame about the clientele!

Stayed 2 nights in Hotel Aida Opera, check in was very straightforward. Small room but that's expected for Paris. Had 2 of my worst nights sleep ever, not because of the room or bed but because of the other people staying in the hotel! Clearly nobody can close a door quietly without slamming it and why people feel the need to shout goodbye to each other when they are staying in the next room to each other, I'll never know! Like I say, lovely hotel, only slight complaint is the volume of the music in the corridors. I was awoken a lot earlier than my alarm, to Rocketman by Elton John blaring through the door. Maybe some signs need to be put up reminding customers that some people are sleeping at 3am in the morning when they return!

The heat didn't work at all (towel warmer none, room radiator none, airconditioner only made room colder), used the hair dryer to warm up, Nice bathroom, no bed cover, great view from balcony, quiet street, plenty of storage, second best breakfast (buffet had no meats, included with room) from the total of 4 hotels, avoid walking East to subway station try either the North or South, got the room way before checkin time, leave before 10am.
