Magnetic cards barely worked so I had to go down to the lobby a few times.

2nd stay here. Great location. Rooms were renovated since last stay. Modern and comfortable. Good amentities. Staff was friendly, especially Ali.

Disappointing that the breakfast we had pre-booked was only avaliable 2 of 5 nights. Suddenly they were renovating the dining area the 3rd morning. No heads-up and we had to talk with a manager to get the refund for prepaid breakfast. She was very professional about it though.

We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel 3 years and was happy to recommend. Due to the price it wasnt my first choice as the only room available was a superior room and it was slightly outside my budget but, as i was on my own this time and familiar with the area i chose it again. Unfortunately the room i got was not \"superior\" in my opinion. The first thing i noticed was the smell upon entering the room, i wasnt sure if it was fresh paint or something from the drains. The bathroom was tiny, i had to keep the door open to allow me exit the shower without hitting off everything. The bedroom itself was oddly shaped and it was difficult to lay down and unpack my case. Very odd floor covering. No complimentary water and on my first morning i put a do not disturb sign on the door as i didn't want housekeeping, i left personal items in the room on the bed and when i came back i found that the room had been cleaned and my stuff moved. On the second morning, i specifically requested no housekeeping to one of the cleaning personnel in the room next door, and just asked for fresh towels which were handed to me. I left the do not disturb sign on the door but arrived back that night to find that yet again, the room had been cleaned.
Positves were that the bed was comfortable, its not too far a walk to major attractions, the area is safe and the breakfast was decent. Its not the worst hotel by any means but way overpriced.

A boutique hotel that had everything we needed!

Stayed in 2 x club rooms - very clean and modern. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and air con. Great location near the metro network and within walking distance to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. Good local grocery shops and cafes too. Loved it! A great hotel for a family in Paris!

Room keys deactivates far to easily so had to keep getting it recharged. And the toilet space was extremely narrow stuck next to the shower, not good for the larger person. I nearly burnt myself on the heated towel rail several times whilst using the space.

But the hotel it’s only a five minute walk from 2 Subway stations and a grocery Mart so very convenient in Central Paris

The surrounding street on this hotel feels very sketchy! First time to visit Paris last week and coming from Canada - oh my goodness, the front desk service at Le 9 Hotel were night and day difference! The staff at this hotel needs proper training for customer service especially in the hospitality industry where Paris is known for. We picked this hotel for its budget-friendly price, and we didn't mind that it's on 9th arrondissement since the reviews said that its close to the metro, which it is. The facilities are okay. The rooms are cozy and bathrooms are clean, that's why we are giving this place 2 stars (instead of 1). We do not recommend this hotel especially for first time visitors in Paris. There are plenty of affordable hotels out there and since this place has no customer service whatsoever, you might as well look for other nearby hotels in the 9th arrondissement that's closer to Galeries lafayette, with access to better restaurants and bars.

We had a very good stay at 9 Hotel . We were initially given a room with a small double bed instead of a two singles but the staff were very good at rectifying the situation. The rooms and bathrooms are compact but very clean and nicely decorated with comfortable beds. Perfect for our needs. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Gare du Nord and as such is perfect for passengers arriving on the Eurostar. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here one night and did enjoy the hotel. There is a small, convenient grocery on the corner. It is very well located in the 9th arrondissement, and very walkable. It is fairly close to the metro, although we used Uber and Bolt most of the time. The only issue related to plumbing, but the front desk person moved us to another room on the same floor. I would stay again.

The staff were calm and cool. Not too excited to see us and not interested really. The location is amazing and the building is classic. The room was micro and overpriced for the quality and condition. Shower was hot and the lobby was comfortable. A great place to call base camp but not a upscale hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Opera for 4 nights during the Olympics. The price varied due to the bookings being staggered as our itinerary changed but the hotel accommodated these changes so that we could remain in the same room. We found the hotel staff to be approachable and helpful. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Gare du Nord and we found a large number of good places to eat within a few minutes, one that was recommended to us, Cafe de l'Eglise served us great food and is in a lovely location, definitely worth a visit! The hotel has a nice lobby where we had a drink on returning one day, and our hotel room itself was comfortable, with good air conditioning and suited our needs. We took breakfast at the hotel each morning which was simple but good, and allowed us to get away early each day. Only slight negative was that we didn't have hand soap for the bathroom so we just used the provided shower gel from the shower

Way too loud. No response from management. Room appeared to be recently refurbished. The main issue as noted by others is the you can hear the Metro from four stories above the line. Good luck getting any sleep.

Rooms and bathroom are very small, shower was tiny. Bathroom was dirty. Thermostat in the room was just for show, didn’t actually work(so you do not get any ac) Staff was not very friendly upon check in/ checkout and the breakfast was not worth the cost. There is transit within a 5 minute walk though and very good restaurants within 5-20 min walk

I stayed here for work. I found the lobby to be super chick and a great common area to work from. The hotel staff was super friendly and professional.
The downside: I found my room to be super small and the space between the bathroom sink and the shower door was very very tight. The vents in the bathroom and the one over my head was covered in dust and lint. A little deep cleaning and I really think this place would be a great place to stay.

Loved the location but as far as sleeping forget about it! The amount of noise coming from the streets was insane! Very unfortunate, because the staff was amazing and the hotel was very clean. Our sink was clogged for days before it was fixed. I would not recommend if you can't sleep in loud noises.

During my stay I had several problems that I would like to complain about them.
First night I got room on ground floor and it was very noisy, like we slept on street. After that we got room on fifth floor. On first evening the toilet didn’t work and we were without working toilet in the evening and in the morning of next day. Also we had moth in the room

I like the hotel but the first night we were in Room 1. Which is the worst there is a bus station and e wey body seats right there outside the window and you can hear all conversation. Also the tv control did not work we asked the clerk to hemos but never did so we couldn’t watch tv any of those days.

The location of the hotel is amazing. You have many dining options around the area. The hotel building is old but nice and does not have a fitness area. The breakfast was okay. The only problem is there was an uncomfortable smell in the stairs area. The metro station is within walkable distance, which may cause noise during early morning and late night if you are a light sleeper.

This was a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and it was close to several Metro stops that took you to major destinations quickly. Lots of great cafes and restaurants down every street. It was my first time in Paris and I definitely want to come back and I would absolutely stay at this hotel again to do it.

We liked that it was close to transportation services, but yet off of the beaten path so we could enjoy the local experience instead of just the usual tourist culture. It was still close enough to use the rental scooters and bikes from Lime to go see the usual attractions.

The hotel is very conveniently placed and close to a lot of things. Check in was very smooth. When I arrived to my room there were small spiders in every corner, you cannot adjust the a/c it’s 1 temperature (you can only adjust the fan speed the temp stays the same ) there was no heating except the towel dryer. My room had no black out curtains as it stated, no curtains at all in fact. I could not open my window.

Warning: avoid at all cost. Un hôtel à eviter!

Staff are trained to be exceptionally rude and feel proud about it. The few staff who are nice are not frequently at post. One manager (Hal****) told me when I prompted her that their reviews were bad : « on s’en fous » ( we care less). The other one (Niz**) tried to buy me off with a free breakfast when he realized the exquisite gravity of their rudeness. While several of the staff come from diverse backgrounds, the hotel is particularly unfriendly towards black people of African descent in particular. It would seem they take pride in being insulting. Internet is poor, but the breakfast is the most outstanding feature of this well located hotel that has all the potential to be good. I wouldn't come back even if offered a free stay. It was an exceptionally traumatizing experience at low value for money.

Poor communication. Inflexible when a mistake has been made. I wrote several times. They gained one night with my error, but lost 4 nights due to inflexibility. The mistake was mine, but they absolutely refused to accommodate and have empathy. I will never book with them.
