The metro station around the corner made it convenient travel to other parts of the city. The hotel was quiet, a carrefour market was down the road for water and snacks and a number of restaurants were within walking distance to make for a pleasurable stay.

The best part was shower. The shower room was spacious and had hot, high-pressured shower. The hotel provided the pod-system coffee machine. It’s a few minutes walk to a few subway stops, and is surrounded by many bakeries.

The positives: The staff are extremely polite and kind. The hotel’s location is quite convenient — not far from the metro and about 20 minutes from Montmartre. As for the room, everything was clean. We had a ground-floor room with a small terrace; the room was rather small but the bedding was comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great. I also liked the choice of pillows.
As for the negatives: people in the room next to us were very loud late at night and the walls were quite thin.
The soap was not replaced during our weekend stay, so we had to wash with shampoo. Also, our towels, which we had left on the floor, were not replaced.
Another small detail — there was no shower cap among the toiletries, so for women, it’s tricky: you have to hold the showerhead because it doesn’t attach to the wall, and the other showerhead is fixed to the ceiling.
There’s also no mirror in the room :).
As for the negatives: people in the room next to us were very loud late at night and the walls were quite thin.

Recommend this hotel! While it did take some time to get to places like the Eiffel Tower via the metro, the hotel is clean, quiet, has great staff and is excellent value.

Excellent base in a really nice area with plenty of coffee, drinking, museum and dining options nearby, as well as Metro access. Convenient for Gare du Nord and Gare du Lyon too.

Proximity to metro and activities within walking distance was good. The bed comfort was okay. Aspects of the room maintenance was lacking, such as the curtain rod being partially ripped out of the room. I would not recommend a stay here until more care for the rooms maintenance is provided. Cleaning staff were good and timely throughout our stay and reception staff were very friendly. We also had issues with our keycard not working multiple nights in a row.

We had a great stay at Les Plumes. We had a small double with a terrace. The room itself was small but if you are going for a short stay it will be perfect. The lady at the reception desk although we didn’t catch her name was so friendly and helpful. She helped us get a reservation for a restaurant that was fully booked. They let us store our bags prior to check in and after check out. Very close to the metro. Highly recommend

We stayed for the last stop on our honeymoon. The room we had was quirky and fun in decoration but the circular mattress on the bed was slightly too big for the circular base so you would wobble slightly when sitting on the edge of the bed. Using the shower over the bath was a bit challenging without a mounting to hold the shower - the floor got very wet

We loved the wooden floors in the room, and the amazingly large bathroom for Paris … extremely quiet street. As we were jet lagged from traveling from a country with a 6-hour time difference, we wanted our rest !! The staff respected our desire for privacy and did not disrupt us unnecessary for towels or access to the room.

Overall this was a great stay. With the exception of the bathroom fan not working and humidity would just get trapped in the room. This was brought up but nothing was done about it. We were also told we’d be getting brand new coffee machines in every room and for some reason ours was skipped and used the old one. Another issue was toilet paper; 1 roll for two people per day. I always found myself asking stuff for some.
These are just details but it’s all in the details I suppose. Other than that, this was a great area, staff was kind and the rooms were comfortable.

A delightful little hotel. Lovely rooms. if somewhat small by US standards, buy hey, this is not Topeka. Working elevator. Convenient (20min or so) walking distance to all that touristy stuff in Paris, but it's not exactly in the middle of the Louvre, so if walking is not your cup of espresso, the nearby Metro station is a half-a-block away.

The hole room smels bad (maybe a pipes problem), and the first night the bed sheets smelled really bad (humidity). That smell stayed in the bed even after cleaning lady changed them.

This hotel is only 12 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. Close to the metro and bus top and about 18-20 minutes from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Very clean and comfortable boutique style hotel. Staff lovely.

We had adjacent rooms which were typical size for Paris but looked old like the rest of the hotel. The bathrooms seemed updated and the showers were great.
The property is located really close to a metro station but the area, and specifically the street the hotel is on is not the most welcoming. We would not call it unsafe but it's not an area in which we liked walking around at night.
The listing states laundry facilities, but this is not accurate. They offer laundry service by talking it to a close by laundry/dry cleaner. If this is something important (as it was for us) we would suggest dropping the laundry at the dry cleaner yourself.

We loved this property! Staff was great, room and bathroom were small but solid. We enjoyed the themed room and hotel. Nice neighborhood which is conveniently located near metro and in a more calm area, but still short walk to all tourist attractions. Definitely recommend adding on breakfast as it was very good and convenient.

Nice little hotel in a quiet part of the city but within 3 minutes you’re in the middle of a busy lovely district. Plenty of decent food places to eat with a wide variety. Not overly expensive.
Breakfast not the best we’ve had but certainly not the worst, it was sufficient. Classic rooms not very big but once adjusted and found a place for everything it was certainly more than adequate. Staff very friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgable. Looking back I think we would stay here again but perhaps upgrade to a slightly bigger room

We politely requested for them to be changed, and either they were not, or all of their linens have that distinct odor. This boutique hotel is very small lobby area is very small and location is close to everything but not pleasant areas and they didn’t have the best clientele the best during our stay, and their adjacent rooms not connecting for families with kids.

The quality of rooms varies
We had booked 2 adjoining rooms for 4 people for 4 nights and were disappointed as we did not get adjoining rooms. At least they were on the same floor.
Our friends were in room 101 and we were in room 103. Room 101 was nicer and more practical.
Room 103 was very wheelchair friendly. We did not need that feature, but we applauded the principle. The room was OK in size but lacking in storage space. The room had a tiny French balcony. The bathroom was big but not practical: There was very little in storage space. The shower area was half open. That meant that when showering the water spread all over the bathroom floor.
Room 101 had a good amount of storage space. The French balcony was a bit bigger, the bathroom was a practical one as it had a proper shower cubicle. There were colour changing lights in the bathroom.
The toiletries were by Fragonard. The rooms had a wooden floor. They had a mini-fridge but no kettle.
The ladies at the reception were friendly, the African French young man we once spoke with was a bit arrogant.
The breakfast room was small and the breakfast buffet was tiny but good with high quality ingredients and it was replenished regularly. Also the choice available was good.
Would we stay there again? Not sure. Room 103 (or 203, 303, 403 or 503 as apparently all the floors have the same layout) is good enough for a 1 night's stay, but not for more. Room 101 or an equivalent one on a different floor is fine for several nights.

The bathroom was big but not practical: There was very little in storage space. The shower area was half open. That meant that when showering the water spread all over the bathroom floor.
Room 101 had a good amount of storage space. The French balcony was a bit bigger, the bathroom was a practical one as it had a proper shower cubicle. There were colour changing lights in the bathroom.
The toiletries were by Fragonard. The rooms had a wooden floor. They had a mini-fridge but no kettle.
The ladies at the reception were friendly, the African French young man we once spoke with was a bit arrogant.
The breakfast room was small and the breakfast buffet was tiny but good with high quality ingredients and it was replenished regularly. Also the choice available was good.
Would we stay there again? Not sure. Room 103 (or 203, 303, 403 or 503 as apparently all the floors have the same layout) is good enough for a 1 night's stay, but not for more. Room 101 or an equivalent one on a different floor is fine for several nights.

This was our 1sr overnight stay in Paris & Hotel Les Plumes certainly didn't disappoint. I was able to check-in online before arrival, we we're also able to check-in early with no extra cost. When we first arrived we we're grreeted by a very friendly guy on the desk. Our room was on the 5th floor, absolutely great, the theme of the hotel & rooms is really nice. We had a fridge on the room, complementary water & was told tea/coffee was all complimentary too. Couldn't fault our time here, when we checked out they kept our luggage for the day.

What a wonderful small hotel. Les Plumes is located in the 9th arrondissement - an area of the city with an ever increasing and well deserved reputation for its great restaurant scene. The rooms were lovely - in the style of a boutique hotel. And the staff were truly terrific- helpful, attentive and friendly. All for a price lower than what you would get at a brand location. Will definitely return next time in Paris

Really great, thoughtful stay. Franck helped check us in and he was super attentive and helpful. He helped us to make a restaurant reservation, showed us a map of the city, and even gave our dog a little treat. The room was clean and cute, and the shower was spacious (which isn't always the case in Europe). Also, the location of the hotel is great - very walkable and convenient.

The room was very small and dark. They had a number of light fixtures but it was very dark even with all the lights on. The only plus was that we were in a top floor room so we had a skylight with a shade that would let a lot of daylight in. It was also very warm and we could not get the AC to kick on, but we had a window we could open for some relief. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was what you would expect for a small hotel without a full kitchen.

Hotel is nicely decorated and within good distance to many attractions. Downsides include that the a/c \"can't be adjusted during winter\" meaning that rooms are 80 degrees or slightly cooler. Luckily we had windows, which were open most of the time due to the heat, but the nights were miserable. Aside from the construction at 8 am, strange smell from restroom (plumbing?), strangers trying to get into our room/our card being deactivated, and an extra $30 euro charge at checkout for \"city taxes,\" everything else was okay. Would not stay again, would not recommend.
