The room was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. There was 24/7 concierge. The shops and metro were very accessible. Roissybus from Charles de Gaulle airport was within walking distance. The passages off Rue de Faubourg Montmartre were intriguing.

The hotel is located in a noisy neighborhood, with people talking late into the night. It was difficult to sleep due to the noise. The breakfast offered limited variety. On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient to many businesses and the room was cleaned daily.

The hotel’s location in the 9th arrondissement is convenient and fairly walkable to many attractions. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The sofa bed was very old and offered minimal comfort, while the main bed felt like a sheet of plywood with no cushioning, resulting in severe back and side pain and very poor rest (worthy of one star on its own).

At check-in, we received an inexpensive bottle of Chardonnay as part of the so-called “VIP booking,” but this gesture did little to offset the overall shortcomings. The kitchenette included a small fridge, a stove that did not work, and a coffee maker with only two pods provided—additional ones had to be purchased. Despite booking for four guests, only three dingy towels were supplied. Many lights in the room did not work, adding to the sense of neglect. The walls were dirty, with hair stuck in multiple spots, which made it feel unclean.

Noise was also a major issue: the pub/restaurant downstairs stayed open late into the night, and the adjoining room setup meant every sound from neighbors carried directly through. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and far below expectations.

The pictures and reviews were VERY misleading. The room smelled of mold and my wife had an allergic reaction. Place was dirty and felt very unsafe. We arrived from a long flight from the US and tried to take a quick nap. But we had no choice but to check out after only a few hours. We informed the manager and he refused any credit/refund of our 5 days that we paid for.

This was a lovely apartment hotel located in the arts and culture district of Paris. It was walkable to lots of food options and supermarkets/groceries which made it convenient especially traveling with children. Room was like a mini apartment perfect for our family of 4. Reception was always friendly and helpful. My husband said we will stay here again.

Our room was perfect: the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with dishes, stove worked perfectly, and bathroom was modern with perfect water temperature.

There are so many nearby food options, but my personal favorites were the bakery and candy store right across the street. Plus, the little cafe right next door has great cocktails!

Even better, we were able to access the whole city by metro, never more than 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel. This is a gem of a location!

We had a wonderful stay here -2 adults and 2 teenagers . It was convenient to many metro lines , the morning breakfast was delivered to us , lots of eating options nearby and very nice amenities . The shower ‘s water tended to find out and wet the rest of the bathroom - we figured a way around it - a simple rubber stopper would help avoid it

More of a small apartment than a hotel in the traditional sense, we loved several things about this “Residence.” First… the location…. The Metro is very close and some attractions are within walking distance ( I consider 30 minutes walking to be fine). The room we had provided plenty of space and a large 2-sink bathroom. We did not use the kitchenette features, but they seem adequate. Front desk is staffed 24hrs. The desk people speak multiple languages, and were happy to answer any questions about the facility or area. The noise level from the street was negligible. I’d stay here again. Mother and daughter trip that was perfect

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay over half term. As a platinum Hotels.com member, I received a great discount on my booking. We arrived early, and left oour luggage safely in reception and had a wander around the local area. We were asked a preference of floor, and we requested the top floor. The room was very nice, and perfect for us both. The ceilings are quite low in the living area, and the windows provided a lovely view of the Parisian rooftops. The bed was v comfy, and the kitchen area was perfect for our needs. There was a little bit of a funky smell from the bathroom drain, but the building is old so this was quickly fixed by just closing the door. The local neighbourhood is just perfect. V close to multiple Metro stations, and all the surrounding cafes, restaurants and bars were just brilliant, we were spoilt for choice. We felt very safe and looked after and will most definately return with the other 2 members of our family, and book a bigger room. Check out was easy and a taxi arrived within minutes to take us (reluctantly) back for GDN for our train home.

The Nell was an excellent choice for us. We had a suite c/w separate bedroom, living space and kitchenette to give us a little more space for a 3 night stay. The hotel is around the corner from Rue Cadet which offers all sorts of lovely shops for bread, wine, and charcuterie for breakfast and snacks with many restaurant/cafe options nearby. The metro stations are within a few blocks as is Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier (Opera House). On small item - a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom's shower area would be helpful.

Expedia charged us for our rooms and so did the hotel. Pretty horrible when you get get home and notice the hotel has charged you $3000 extra for your stay. The hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia did nothing. Poor customer service all around

The small apartment is poorly maintained: the bath stucco is coming off, the kitchen cabinets are not aligned and door are chipping off.
What I was most upset about is the many drinks and candies that were left in the room with a confusing sign that apparently only one of them is complementary - and for the rest they charging you arm and leg. Basically a trap.

We booked this apartment for the convenience of having laundry facilities during our stay. However, when we arrived we found there is no laundry to use on site. The man in reception advised they have a laundry 'service' where they send your clothes to an external source for a fee. We walked to the next street where there was a laundromat and took care of it ourselves. Whilst the apartment itself was a reasonable size, it appears larger and fresher in the photos on their website. Our apartment's bedroom faced the main street corner and we had a street light shining into our bedroom all night. Blackout curtains would be beneficial in that room to keep some light out when guests are trying to sleep. Whilst the area has lots of eateries around, it means it is noisy at night. We understand Paris is a busy city which never appears to sleep but we found the area much noiser than we'd expected at night. We could also hear conversations from the room next door. Our apartment felt tired and worn. There were chips out of the formica on the cupboard door where the iron was kept, chips out of the bathroom door near the locking mechanism, a light cover missing on one of the lights in the bathroom and the toilet seat was crooked. There were stains on the hallway carpet leading to our apartment which added to the tired feel overall. We did have an issue with the toilet refilling and reported it to management. Unfortunately this was not able to be fixed before the end of our stay.

Unit has been lived in, not pristine, but comfortable.
Staff helpful.
Outside noise (construction, night noise)- probable will encounter in most central locations. Be prepared for fire alarms from people cooking in other units.

The property was just perfect. It was clean, Crystal looked after us so we’ll and made sure we felt at home. Fab location- quite a few metro stations on different lines are close by and great eating places that is reasonably priced. The room was tidied and cleaned everyday. Just superb and absolutely family friendly. The room had a kitchenette with everything you could possibly need. There’s an amazing bakery with the best coffee and pastries. Thanks Résidence Nell.

Condo style hotel that was modern and in a convenient area. The well air conditioned rooms were heaven to come back to on the hot muggy days. Bathroom facilities were also beautiful and large. Our unit had a bathtub that was a bit high to step into though if you have mobility issues but they also had other units that were just walk in showers however I hear most of the bathroom floor then gets wet. So be clear on what you prefer when booking.

Have the small kitchenette was perfect for snacks and breakfast. Enjoyed my most walks to gather croissants and fruit from the numerous nearby cafes and small markets. There is also a fromagerie across the street that we frequented almost every day to sample a new cheese to bring back to the unit.

Overall a perfect place for families. Convenient to walk to numerous metro stations and attractions like Montmartre and Palais Garnier were about a 15 min -20 min leisurely walk.

Didn’t have the standard of what I expected from a boutique hotel. Coffee, tea and water supplies not topped up daily. Curtains not blackout. Walls thin.
Not enough self catering facilities. Old dirty sponge left to wash dishes. Trash bins too small to put much in. Only 1 half length mirror in whole apartment for 4 people. Not full length mirror at all in bedroom.
Wet room bathroom did not work as had to past wet floor to use the loo. Bed was too soft.
Bed sheets high quality though.
Location convenient but did not sleep at all as it was too noisy with drunks and wash disposal trucks waking us all up at 6am.

This not a hotel! There are no facilities on site. You will be charged for coffee/ tea after the first day’s complimentary coffee pods and tea bags.

Great at everything but very noisy

Spent 3 nights at Residence Nell. It is a truly great place, fabulous location, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms, nice decor, superb concept and design...
However, if you want a quiet and dark room to sleep, look elsewhere... the hotel is on top of several restaurants and bars and the noise goes on until the early hours of the day and start again at 7 am or earlier... the windows are paper-thin and clearly do not do much and it is as if you are sleeping on the sidewalk... no black-out curtains on the room either...

This is a beautiful boutique hotel that is perfectly situated close to shopping, dining, and public transportation. The rooms are clean, bright and spacious, the bathrooms nicely renovated and very modern. We got upgraded upon arrival and breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise. The staff was outstanding and very helpful in every respect. A real gem. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely, clean, bright apartment. Spacious by Paris standards and lovely view of the bustling street, a lovely 18th century sweets shop and Haussmann buildings. We loved waking up and seeing the beautiful flowers and sun coming through our windows. The cleanliness was exceptional - probably the best I encountered in any hotel to date. The only thing that was lacking was the breakfast - it is fine if included in the package, but would not pay 17 euros pp for it otherwise, especially when you have some excellent bakeries in the neighborhood.

While we enjoyed the location of this Hotel, I wouldn't technically consider it a hotel more like apartments. The misleading part is \"Hotel\" & Suites. There were no amenities of a hotel available on site other then a single concierge sitting at a small desk when you entered.
We rented a suite to accommodate the 5 members of our family. The suite was very clean, overlooked the street, very big and spacious, which was the positive. I just expected more amenities and it wasn't clearly indicated when I booked it. I would stay again but now I know what to expect.

Wonderful hotel that is located in a great area. I loved that it was close to the metro station and only a 20 minute walk to Sacre Coure. It's not overly touristy area but there is plenty of food options. The concierge were friendly and helpful with providing tips. Room was perfect for the four of us. My four and eight year old love this hotel. My only complaint would be that the beds were not as firm as I would have liked.

We explained we needed to leave early the next day to catch a flight and were told how to order breakfast and that a taxi would be waiting on us. We confirmed breakfast and the cab that evening. The following morning there was no breakfast and more.importantly they forgot to book the cab. If not for Uber we would have been in real trouble. Kindness and follow through are two different things.

Nice Hotel

We loved Christian. He was so helpful and friendly. Room was big, bed was good, and loved the walk in shower. The breakfast was not that great - Better than average, but not enough options. My wife loved the coffee choice though. Great location. We would stay again if we were in Paris.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Immediately upon arrival, Antoine took very good care of us and he made our arrival easy after a long trip. Antoine and Christian were excellent hosts and they were always helpful for suggestions and whatever we may need such as directions to a Paris site, restaurant, taxi etc. Our room was spacious and house keeping was superb. We give his hotel 5 stars for its people, location and service! Merci beaucoup!

Perfect Place

Absolutely loved the Hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean and nice. Also the area was perfect for us. A perfect mix of a tourist area and a quaint neighborhood. We felt very safe there.

Great for a family of four

Excellent hotel. Stayed in one of the apartments. Spacious with lots amenities. Has a small kitchenette which we didn't use as there are lots of food options around. All monuments are accessible by 10-15min walk or metro journey.

The hotel is good, the rooms are clean but not the best location in the city. I did not feel safe walking in the surrounding area of the hotel.

The area is extremely noisy and the windows of the rooms are not soundproofed so good luck sleeping in the night.

Pleasant Stay with nice balconies and nice staff.

The staff was nice. The room was spacious. We had the delux. The views were great. The airline lost our luggage and they were helpful and courteous even after we left. Walking distance to galleria’s Lafayette. Every was very clean. Breakfast was good as well.
