While I love staying here and the staff has always been gracious, I forgot my diamond earrings on the night table by my bed and when I got back from my excursion they were gone.
The hotel manager on duty said that I should have used the safe. I obviously always utilize the safe, however, I forgot to put them on so how could I?
It's a shame that a hotel of this caliber, would actually tell me that unless I put items in the safe, i basically should expect to not find them when i get back. Hopefully that doesn't include my suitcases, as obviously they don't fit it safe.
Just beware.

Really wanted to give 4.5 stars. Location & staff were best. The metro stop Grand Blvd was literally in front of the hotel entrance. So convenient. My key req was AC, elevator & metro access. It was very hot in humid in August so wanted AC. I even turned it off at night cuz it was so good. Rooms are small so I booked a premium room. After this, I booked, a Hilton in London’s West End; just as great value!

We originally felt the stay was going well. However, when we returned home we found someone on staff had defecated in some of our dirty clothes, (of which we had stored in separate bags from our clean clothes, needless to say, that kind of changed our opinion of the stay. Good location

Great location, bus route outside will take you straight to Louvre, metro station right outside also. Room was what I expect from a chain hotel, decent size and clean. Breakfast options were good, decent tea, can ask for omlettes to be made, loads of choice to suit everyone. A bit loud due to bars across the street and being at a crossroads but unless you're a light sleeper it wouldn't bother you. Staff were all great. Would stay again.

The elevator does not function correctly and we got stuck in the elevator on arrival. The staff helped but for the rest of the stay it worked unreliably. We reported it to the staff on checkout. It is safety issue which needs to be fixed.

The hotel staff was super friendly, and spoke English which was very helpful especially in a new country. Room was clean, and location was great as it was literally right outside a metro station. Lots of restaurants nearby and lively location so it feels safe, which was one of my main concerns when looking for a hotel location. The stay was awesome and location great! My family stayed 9 nights for the Olympics and the hotel was perfect for our needs. It’s air conditioned for hotter months, has standard amenities (I.e., kettle, small fridge, safe) and some nicer touches such as slippers and a refillable glass water bottle. The lounge on the lowest floor has the water fountain and ice machine near their Starbucks station. We didn’t spend much time in this space but there’s a large tv with a couch and other seating to enjoy.
The rooms themselves aren’t huge but we had two separate rooms with double beds which was perfect (3 adults). They were clean, very comfortable when we spent downtime there. There is some noise from ppl running down a hallway or the housekeepers’ carts going by the room, overall minimal. Additionally, be aware they do not usually provide face towels, standard for many hotels there , but can be requested. The hotel also has a breakfast buffet daily for a set price. We did this on most days for convenience but it was very nice. The staff there are kind and polite, offering to make omelettes based on customer preferences. There are a number of metro stations (Grand Blvd st is directly in front of the hotel entrance), bus stops, and the taxi service (which staff helped set up for us and made sure we didn’t accept any unnecessary charges). The restaurant scene is plentiful but you can hop around for anything. This was really a great and we would definitely stay here again if in Paris.

This hotel was in the perfect location and walking distance to most monuments I wanted to visit in Paris. The hotel and room was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and I had no issues when it came to checking in/out. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was all the noise coming from the side street at night time. I’m assuming this is normal in Paris due to the night scene but I’m thankful I had my earplugs.
I would definitely return to this hotel if I were to go back to Paris.

Everything about the hotel was great. Lovely breakfast with lots of options. Service and staff was good. I enjoy staying at HI and this one didn’t disappoint. The room was a decent size for Paris. I would stay again. My only comment is that if you have slight mobility issues, request an accessible room. Our room had a few steps to take from the elevator and the tub was a bit raised from the floor.

Only had a street front.
I did not like the tub in the room. Unfortunately, it is very high & very difficult to get in or out. I know that is normal for European bathrooms to have a tub, but in the future I would probably ask for shower only. I. Am only 5’1” and a Senior, climbing over tub could be dangerous.

This hotel will not change my booking dates as Brussels Airlines cancelled my flight last minute.
I pleaded with the management of the hotel, the Expedia team did same but they wouldn’t be bothered. They took almost 700 US dollars from my credit card without me stepping a foot in the hotel.
Zero human face to customer service, even robots are not wired this way. Maybe that’s what “French Hospitality” is about.

I liked that metro was right out the front door, places to eat all around the hotel, close to Galleries Lafayette and covered passages. My mom thought shower could have used grab bars as she found shower floor slippery but I had no issues. The breakfast was nice every morning. There is a restaurant across the street open 24 hours continuous service and they had people over there at 4am. When we were meeting tour for Normandy at 7am and needed breakfast option at 5am we knew they were open. Overall great experience and in the shopping location we wanted

Hello, we have always had a good experience with Holiday Inn, except for this hotel. First of all, the breakfast was great, no doubt about it, and it was even better than other Holiday Inn Hotels. However, a wrong advertisement on the hotel's website made our experience unpleasant. While they stated that kids could stay in the same room for free, they didn't accept my 5-year-old daughter, and we were forced to upgrade to a bigger room. On one day, we didn't have a room from morning until 6 pm, and we had to spend hours in the lobby. I understand that they have to follow occupancy rules, but at the very least, they don't need to advertise incorrect information.

We were given a room in the bowels of the hotel . To get to the room we had to use the lift , walk along a long corridor then go up some stairs to a landing then go down two flights of stairs using stairs that were not even or parallel. We were not offered any help with our luggage or given a guide to the room .
The room had not been cleaned properly as there was rubbish from the hot drinks facilities around the rubbish bin.
When we were setting up the room safe we found it was locked in the open position and would not function. We called reception who eventually sent a handy man who could not fix the safe . We then returned to reception-see journey details above - to try to sort out the problem as we did not want to leave our valuables in the room without a safe.
We told the receptionist that we would be happy to pay for an upgraded room if it had an operational safe but we told that there were no other rooms available that night and we would have to return to our original room and that the handyman would supply another safe. So given no other option we had to return to our room - see journey details above .
The handyman then brought a replacement safe but advised that it would not be secured within the cupboard where the original safe was situated. This meant that we had a safe but it was fully portable !!
When we complained to the receptionist we were told that the only people who would have access to our room - and our portable safe - would be hotel employees !!

The Holiday Inn was a great place to stay if you want a room with some space to live in. The area was nice with lots of restaurants available and the Metro right out the front door. The staff could not be more helpful in getting transportation and transfer to the airport. I would recommend it highly for a stay in Paris.

Good hotel but 1st night our shower didn't drain. It flooded the bathroom and part of bedroom carpet. Technician only part fixed it that night. Frustrating and the GM claimed he couldn't do anything y like adjust our charge for the night. He didn't even return our calls. The issue was ignored the room which was labeled \"superior \" was small. Breakfast was very good and hotel location was good although a noisy street

Our first night we had a shower that didn't drain and flooded the bathroom and into the carpet of the room. A maintenance guy only half unplugged it. We tried talking to the GM but he couldn't make a decision and was supposed to get back with us. He never did. They had a nice breakfast and our superior room was small but ok. We were on the 7th floor so it was quiet on a busy street. Would look for another hotel next time

We liked this property.
The room was large for a room in Paris, very clean with good amenities. Negatives regarding the room: the only way to use the kettle is to unblug the desk lamp. And the hair dryer was wonky.
The staff was superb, helpful, smiling and friendly, from the reception to the breakfast staff.
Breakfast is generous, if repetitive - but the maître D stepped in and gave us a few more options. Super service.
Overall this property is excellent value and we would recommend it.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Paris Opera Grands Boulevards was great! It was centrally located, close to the Metro and within walking distance to many tourist sites and restaurants.

A special thank you to Jason at the reception desk who always helped us to determine the best routes to various places we wanted to go.

The breakfast was excellent (good variety of foods, hot and cold) and the rooms were nice and clean.

The front desk staff went above and beyound in assisting us with all of our needs from city information to sightseeing along with subway travel.
Breakfast was also excellent.
Room was on the small side compared to U.S. standards but understandable considering the building was built probably early last century.
There is a metro station right in front so getting anywhere within Paris is easy and after a long day of sightseeing, the hotel is right there when you exit the metro.
I would definitely stay here again when I revisit Paris.
