The location is amazing the 9th arrondissement close to the Folies Bergére The Opera and Galeries Lafayette.
The hotel is old it’s small it’s quaint but for me it was perfect. It’s next door to some very new fresh hotels but you get what you pay for. It was warm it was clean a deep clean could be needed. My room which was tiny had the smallest shower on earth but hey the water was hot. The breakfast was very basic but for me fresh bread and croissants an assortment of yogurt and spreads coffee machine juice did me ok. There are food places everywhere and a really nice supermarket across and an even bigger one round the corner.
The staff were just great so very kind and helpful and for me that’s what’s important. If you need luxury stay somewhere else but pay 5 times more. I was cosy and comfortable and loved my time there.

No AC, extremely small room, dark room, light flicking, had to go downstairs to report since the phone in room had no information on how to call, the guy came and replaced some bulbs but the big light continue flicking. Smelled dirty, not in good area.
I do not recommend this hotel !!

Firstly let me say that the staff on reception were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately this hotel is in need of a freshen up. We arrived for a one night stay in late June with temptetures around 26C There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. We were provided with a fan, that tbh wouldn't pass a UK safety check. However we had no option to use it to make the room bareable. The bathroom again is dated with a concertina type shower door and seperate hot and cold taps. We paid for breakfast which was adequate, however limited in choice with small portions. We wouldn't choose to stay here again.

What a lovely little hotel. Super friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The location is amaing - close to 3 or 4 metro stops, and lots of restaurants in the local area. There is also a supermarket close by. Will definitely look at this place next time we are in Paris.

Good hotel on a budget

Very good value for a hotel situated in the heart of Paris. The room was clean and could be updated but everything worked.

They could invest some money in upgrading the look as the curtains, towels, bed linen etc were old. However, everything was perfectly clean. The staff were friendly. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. As you would expect in the middle of a city, there is some noise from the street, so you may want to bring earplugs. For the price, excellent value. In summary, not the best hotel, but a good hotel on a budget.

The location was fantastic, vibrant, and safe; only steps away from a metro stop and 15 minutes walk to main shopping corridors like galleries Lafayette. Ben and Eddine were very kind and amazing to us. They helped us with several things we needed. This hotel is in a good location, with different restaurants around, grocery markets, laundry and just minutes from the La Fayette Gallery and the Opera. The hotel is not a super fancy place, it is not modern but it fit our budget very well and it was a comfortable room for 3 people.

This hotel is in very poor condition. It's very very very tired. It's not well maintained at all. The rooms are not very nice and they are small. Beds are really uncomfortable.
Yes it's not too expensive but it's really not worth the savings. It's not a pleasant place to stay in.
The breakfast isn't good either. Not worth the price.
On the plus side, the staff is nice and helpful, and the location is great (with restaurants, bars, and transport nearby). But the hotel is a dive.

The beds in the room were very old and the mattress was badly broken. Thr springs dug into my back all night and i had one of the worse nights sleep i have ever had in a hotel. The shower was very badly designed so it was difficult to use.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It’s in a central area of Paris and a lively and interesting neighborhood. The street it is on looked a little run down, as if it has seen better days. Some of the shops and restaurants were closed and boarded up. But, it’s close to A LOT of interesting things that are quintessentially Paris.

While the hotel itself offers good amenities, a comfortable bed, a shower and tub, and is quiet from within, I did notice the sound of a lot of truck traffic in the mornings, around 5am. I had a room on level 5 (6th floor) facing the street. This noise was caused by the trash collectors picking up trash. While not unbearable or unusual, I would have appreciated sleeping in a little later. I was able to sleep better as I became more accustomed to the sounds of the neighborhood.

The location of the property was great. The area is lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The accomodation was small and not suitable for 3 people/ you could barely fit in the shower/ it was very misrepresented in the booking app. The room appeared dirty. It is not a 3 star- it barely skims a 2 star- it was the last hotel of a 5 week stay and it was the worse- I stayed in 2 star hotels which were bigger, better and cleaner. There were other 3 star hotels on the same street and even the entrances looked better, and they were cheaper. The front of the hotel looked old and dilapidated. So very disappointed.

What I liked was there were quite a few pastry shops within walking distance of the hotel.

What I didn't like:
-The shower was smaller than the shower found on a most cruise ships.
-No Air-conditioning. My fault for assuming. However we were left with a fan that didn't work. Hotel manager told my wife to open the window and he will pick up another one tomorrow.
-We had to keep the window open for the 3 days there. Between the lady screaming last night and police cars driving by with sirens on sleep was not possible.

I had a nice stay! I was by myself for just one night — the day before my flight home to be closer to the RoissyBus to De Gaulle, two metro stops away — but I’d definitely go back again for longer. The hotel is older, but it had its own warm charm, and (thankfully) an elevator. My room was clean, comfortable, well-kept, and had plenty of room and a view out to the street. It also had a desk, which was perfect as I had work to do; and the wifi was seamless. The shower head in my room was a little awkward, but it worked just fine and was serviceable, and the bathroom had plenty of room. The neighborhood is good — a 4-8min walk from two different metro stations, and right in the middle of an area with good restaurants and lots of little bakeries, shops, convenience stores, etc. I found it convenient to take the metro to the Musee d’Orsay to the southwest and the Paris Philharmonie/Cite de la Musique to the north, as well as easy to find meals in the neighborhood. There’s also a laundromat directly across the street and a Franprix grocery store a few doors down (with a fresh orange juice machine!). The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, and the hotel appears to have several utilities/conveniences that you can ask for if needed, such as a baby bed. One note: the hotel is on a quieter side street, but I did hear neighbors outside late (it was Friday); it wasn’t a lot, though very light sleepers might want ear plugs. Overall, a comforting haven at the end of a long trip.

You get what you pay for. The hotel itself was fine, nothing special. The rooms were outdated and had a weird layout. Our friends that we were traveling with were given a room where the bathroom didnt even have a tub or shower. There was just a shower head over the toilet to wash with. That was very disappointing. The location is excellent though. Best area to stay in in Paris. My wife and I stayed here for over a week and overall the hotel was fine and the location was excellent making our trip very nice.

The room had two windows that opened up to a terrace with an amazing view, could not have asked for anything better! Sat outside there often with a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower! The shower had very good water pressure as well. There was no tea or coffee provided but we weren't in the room much so we didn't mind at all.
The location was very good, plenty of restaurants nearby and a Franprix just across the street. The staff were always very kind as well.

This is an amazing B&B hotel in the center (walking distance) to everything!!! Absolutely, would stay here again. Chose the twin rooms and was blessed to have the balcony view. Amazing to wake up to it. Also there is no central air but the fan in the room does the job in keeping one cool at night to get a good night rest. The reception is also very kind. Would recommend this stay 100%! The shuttle service provided by the hotel is also a lot cheaper than most. 18 EU per person. However, it is a carpet room so if you have allergies the room may feel congeated, but the balcony allows freah air to come through. Thank you for the stay, it was lovely!

The room was clean, bathroom was good size (considering things in Europe are small). No A/C unit, but we had a large fan in the room. Staff was very friendly and useful. Breakfast was good, not a lot of variety in fruits, but lots of pastries. Hotel is about 15-minute walk from Sacre Coeur Cathedral, but a bit further away from River Siene and other attractions by foot (around 25-minute walk from Louvre Museum). However, there is 1 or 2 metro stations a few blocks away so you can move easily if you use the metro. It's also close to Garde de Nord, a main train station with connections to other European cities (around 15-minute walk).

This hotel is located in a good area and very close to many of the city's main sites
small and uncomfortable double room. Maintenance and cleanliness were at a very low level.
A small narrow closet with sliding doors The doors came out every time they were opened or closed.
The safe box is in the closet, in a very difficult place to get for opening or closeing
The room has only one electrical outlet. You must bring with you adapters for all your electrical appliances
No minibar, no coffee-making kit
wi fi weak, with lots of disconnections
Fine continental breakfast.
The clerks at the reception were all right except one of them Who did not know English was not clear but with a lot of rude, impatience, and insulting.

Some reviews say the rooms are small. I found room 55 to be snug and very acceptable for one person, manageable, just about, for two. It's true the hotel is a little shabby but it is very reasonably priced for where it is and those two things go together. The most negative thing is breakfast which is very limited and expensive €10 for very little isn't good. I found a local alternative too late. I would stay there again. Friendly and helpful staff.

I thought the hotel was a quaint and cute, and I really loved the view from the room! It was a gorgeous little balcony that just screamed \"You're in Paris!!\". The area was beautiful to explore and grab a quick coffee and crepe before starting the day. Most attractions were close! The Eiffel Tower was less than a 10 minute taxi ride. The only downside to our stay was one gentleman at the front desk was somewhat unfriendly. Definitely a personal opinion, but enough to make me reconsider whether I would stay here again.

I would like to first say that when I first arrived to check in, the gentleman who helped me was wonderful. He was very helpful and quick with our check in. We arrived around noon and he said our room was ready plus he upgraded us to \"the nicest room in the whole hotel.\" I don't really care about that stuff, as long as its clean. The room was a decent size and honestly there was nothing wrong with it. A little run down, but still in good condition. The location was great too.
That was the last time I saw that gentleman and it all went down hill from there. The staff that worked there at night was extremely rude and was very vocal about it. We had met up with some friends who wanted to come over for a bit to use our bathroom and freshen up before we went out. Mind you, there's 2 of us, and 2 of them. The 4 of us walked in and the man working there started yelling at us saying that there can only be 2 people to a room. I explained that there was only 2 of us, and that they were friends who were coming in to use the restroom. He kept yelling at us and soon an older woman joined him as well. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome at a hotel before. Was this his house? Was I breaking rules? No one has ever questioned me coming into a hotel room before. Even if it was a rule there, he could have been a bit more polite and explained that to us. The way he was yelling at us is unacceptable and made us all feel really horrible the rest of the night.I will not be returnin

Fine for a few nights.

The location of this hotel is amazing.. Close to several metro stations and tons of restaurants and bars..

Staff was helpful when needed and spoke English which is a plus..

The rooms, however, were very small and the beds were even smaller. I know this is fairly standard for budget hotels in Europe but this seemed to be a bit exyreme, just br advised you aren't exactly staying at the Ritz..

Convenient location, right price but very cramped room and the smallest shower a human fit into. The breakfast is... not a breakfast at all and I ate outside the hotel. Staff are great, the hotel is tired.

Good stay on a budget

Great location. Many supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, bars around. The famous Le Bouillon Chartier restaurant is less than 5 minute walk. Generally safe neighborhood. Most attractions - Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Les Invalides, Notre Dame - all within 1 hr walking distance.
Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to airport for 18 Euros, but book it as soon as you get there so they can schedule. The rooms were small and dated - as is with most Paris homes/hotels I suppose. No amenities available - just 2 cups for the bathroom, towels, and blow dryer; so make sure you bring your own. Overall very positive stay. No problems with check in/check out and cleaning service and wifi.

Great for the money!

Great location, close to metros, and restaurants. A grocery store and laundromat right across the street. The rooms are small, but it is Paris. The twin beds are small, again it is Paris. A room fan is provided as there is no air conditioning. It was comfortable. WiFi allowed only one device at a time.

No shower curtain upon arrival; the guy at the front desk phoned me and asked me to install one myself. No air conditioning in room, not even a system shared among all rooms that one finds commonly in hotels. Upon check-in, the front guy desk assumed that I would want to pay for breakfast, without asking me (had to explicitly mention to remove breakfast from the charges).
The bed pillows were too soft and small for the hardness of the mattress, leading to a very uncomfortable night.
Overall very disappointed by the experience in relation to the price paid.
