I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

The hotel itself was spotless. Our room was exceptionally clean, fresh, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day.

One of the best parts of this location is how convenient it is. The hotel is situated in a great area with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants within walking distance. It made exploring and grabbing meals so easy and enjoyable.

The amenities were amazing for the price we paid. Everything from the facilities to the little thoughtful touches exceeded our expectations. It truly felt like we were getting luxury-level comfort without the luxury price tag.

Overall, an incredible value for money. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location, and outstanding amenities — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Arrived on an early AM flight and they held our bags until room was ready. Were able to get in room by 12 pm instead of 3 pm. Gave free drinks and afternoon snacks every day. Breakfast in morning was good.

I really enjoyed our 1 night stay at the hotel. The minute we walked in, we we're greeted by friendly faces. The front desk staff we're very helpful with giving us directions to all the attraction sites and parking for our car rental. Our room was very clean and the complimentary bar was a plus. I wish we had stayed longer but we had to drive to our next destination. I will definitely stay here again and make sure we stay for a couple of days. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It's a great location near everything.

We enjoyed our stay in Acadia Astotel very much. The rooms were very clean with good soundproofing. Our 3 year old son really liked the little play area next to reception. The only negative experience was with breakfast ladies which were not particular nice and also there was no toaster.

Wow, the staff and service here are absolutely fantastic! This hotel is so cozy and clean, and the location couldn't be better - it's super close to the train stations, RoissyBus station, restaurants, and the Opera. And as if that weren't enough, they offer daily free snacks and a stocked minibar! What a plus!

I was suppose to get a refund for both nights as we were only in the room until we got another hotel there were 2 drunks arguing back and forth across the street and one tried to throw urine on the other. The on duty manager said he couldn’t refund my stay because it was through you guys .The worst hotel and it was still expensive !

Hôtel Acadia - Astotel is conveniently located next to many good restaurants, attractions and public transit for getting around Paris. Staff is very knowledgeable about the area.

However, I am very disappointed that the elevator was broken during my stay in hotel. My room was on the top floor (7th) and I had to climb and down especially. Also in the morning, often there are a lot of truck noises on the street with one servicing the hotel.

Great stay! The breakfast was plentiful and housekeeping aggressively restocked the free mini bar. There was always snacks in the lobby and we were told that we could get the same treatment at any of the Astotel properties across the city. Great view, great location, all good. Tres bien!

Great central location in the \"Grands Boulevards\" district of Paris. Easy walking distance of tons of great restaurants, bars and little shops. Three of the covered shopping galleries from the 19th century are less than a 5 minute walk. In the other direction and only 5 minutes on foot is the nearest metro stop. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our first night we checked in with someone who was surly, disinterested and unwilling to provide assistance with anything besides handing me a key. He put me and my 5'10\" daughter in a room with one double bed. I had been assured from the manager that the requested (6 months earlier) room with 2 beds would be ours. When I spoke to the desk clerk about the room and explained that we needed to move he said that everything was booked and I would have to talk to someone else in the morning. No emotion, no apology, no concern and clearly no interest in his job.
We did not sleep much that night. The following morning I headed back to the front desk ready to do battle. There was no way we could spend the next 9 days in a double bed! This time the clerk was professional, concerned and took care of the problem right away. From then on, everyone we dealt with was all one could hope. Our new room was as we'd expected, clean and (by Paris standards) spacious. We had our little fridge replenished each day with bottled water, soda and oj. The bathroom was nice and breakfast each morning was very good.

Amazing hotel, super friendly and helpful staff.

Clean, fresh, rooms were very large. Mini bar/kettle in room was a brilliant extra, we had a 3 bed room.
Room was lovely, air con, hair dryer, a bath, beds are memory formed, lots of pilliows.

Checked out at midday but was aloud to use snack and drink bar for the rest of day/early evening.
Snack were fresh pastries/cakes/crisps/breadsticks/fruit.
Drinks were Pepsi/ice tea/lemoade/fresh juices/coffee/lots of teas.

We relexed in cosy comforty lobby with some snacks/hot and cold drink while awaiting to leave for our train.
There are also sister hotels in the city which we were allow to go to for use of snack/drink/toliets, which in the hot weather was brilliant!

Would stay again for sure.

Very Average and a Bit Disappointing for the Price

This hotel wasn't terrible but it didn't impress me, either, especially when you consider the price. We had a few issues during our stay (a clogged sink, a flickering light, etc) but they were all resolved quickly. The room was warm but we couldn't sleep with the window open because we were on the first floor facing the street. The street noise and smell of cigarettes was INSANE.

The staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay - pretty standard - but not the best we'd had on our trip. Though it should be noted that they have gluten-free and lactose-free options available by request!

While the area was convenient to a few different trains and removed enough from the bustle of the main tourist area to be comfortable, I just didn't love the location. I'll stay elsewhere on my next trip to Paris.

Chose this hotel because of great reviews though didn't quite live up to expectation. Elevator didn't work for 4 of the 8 days there, (difficult when staying on 7th floor). Rooms clean and comfortable though fairly small. Interesting surrounding district with plenty of good cafes. Close to metro.

This hotel is in a good location, the staff are helpful and the breakfast is good value for money. Unfortunately, during my stay the Air conditioning was broken from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning. As it was 26 degrees Celsius outside and I was on the 6th floor, this made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The staff did ensure I had a fan in my room on the second night, to the receptionist’s credit he actually gave me the fan he was using at reception. I rate this 3 stars as I believe a hotel really should be able to locate a HVAC technician on the weekend that does call-outs as opposed to waiting until Monday morning. I would recommend this hotel on the condition the HVAC was working as I believe it is pleasant and reasonably priced.

Not a first choice, due to street noise

Two drawbacks for me.
1. The hotel is angled between 2 streets that can be noisy. It is therefore impossible to get a quiet room. You can keep the windows closed and suffocate if you like, but that leads me to Drawback 2

2. The Air Conditioning is used only in summer and even though it was quite warm in mid-May, the room remained hot and noisy.

I liked the hotel overall, the staff were friendly, but I would not stay here any time other than winter when you can keep the windows closed

Great location

Hotel is located in a fantastic and eclectic neighborhood that we really liked (eg, a wonderful italian restaurant, lo spagghetino, is just across the street). Unfortunately, the physical plant of the hotel needs to be updated. Bathrooms are a bit scary and many parts of the hotel, including guest rooms, are in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. The staff is great and make up for much of it as best they can, but if the hotel would simply invest in some physical updates it would make a world of difference.

The staff is friendly and the hotel has great location. There is free snack bar at the lobby. The hotel room is clean, however the air condition is not working really well as I turn down the temperature but I still feel very warm in the room, so I ended up open the window at night which also allows the noise from the street comes in .
In general , a good hotel in a safe and central located.

Good hotel that needs some maintenance

Overall we thought this hotel was fine to stay at for a few days while in Paris.
+ The rooms are very well soundproofed. We couldn't hear anything from the other rooms, or from the busy street below, when we had our window closed.
+ There was a cool mini-balcony in the room facing the streets of Paris.
- The A/C didn't work for our entire stay. We notified the front desk staff immediately after check-in, who assured us it would be fixed promptly. When we asked about it again two days later, all we got was a dismissive shrug.
- The bed in the room was unbelievably hard and uncomfortable. After two day we conteplated sleeping in the chairs to try to get some rest.

Hotel was well located minutes from 2 metro stations that have direct or good connections to major sightseeing points around Paris. Lots of options for restaurants nearby. Food grocery mart right across from the hotel. Only issue was with AC in the room - barely functioned with very low air flow. Did not cool at all even when set at 5C. Keeping windows open on 1st floor at least was out of question given that people smoke right outside on the street and that blows in right into the room when window is open! Overall good, except for AC issue.

Decent hotel with pretty good location

The location is good if arriving with Eurostar to Gare du nord, 15 minute walk. General area fine and we could walk in 30 min to the Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame etc. Hotel reception very polite and nice. Lovely snack bar which is free. We had a room on 6th floor with a pretty good street view, quite decent size also. Ok cleanliness and shower worked fine although it took ages to get hot water. The room is quite basic however and needs bit of a facelift. We would have loved a kettle and maybe some basic amneties. The only issue we had with this hotel, and it was quite major, was that the walls are paper-thin. We were regularly woken up by the lift sound or people speaking (if you like sleeping in even a bit then reconsider). In general a good hotel with OK value for money, but we would try another place at our next stay.

A friendly, well positioned hotel

We were a family group of 8 including a family with 2 children transiting back to UAE from a holiday in the USA.

The rooms were not large but perfectly adequate in size as we had not come to Paris to hang around the room and storage and bathroom space was fine.

The reception sitting area with free coffee and afternoon/evening snacks was a great advantage.

We did not have breakfast in the hotel preferring to buy from the nearby shops.

All the reception staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English and willingly helped with directions and advice on sights, shops and restaurants. The transiting family's luggage was left behind in the States and the airline was slow in delivering it. The reception staff assisted, especially Zanetta, who was unstinting in her chasing up the airline and airport with the result that they were able to pick it up at the airport when leaving.

We have made this our first choice for our next visit to Paris.

Small but perfectly situated, homely but modern!

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Paris. Rooms are a little tight but a good use of space. Our window overlooked the street and as we were on the 6th Floor we had a great view of some of Paris. A nice touch was being able to open the windows on to the city.
The breakfast was tasty and well presented. The snack bar is a great touch and makes you feel at home.
Forget your toothpaste? Call down to reception and they'll bring you some up.

This is a central Paris hotel and was very close to the bars and restaurants of Boulevard Poisonniere/Grands Boulevards. The hotel staff were polite and the free wifi was useful. The room was quiet when the window was closed but got hot at night, unfortunately the in room air con was fairly innefectual.

Good location, shame about the hot water

We arrived a couple of hours early and were allowed to check into our room, the reception staff were always pleasant and polite but we had no hot water on the second morning. This was a problem for the whole hotel due to a faulty boiler and was fixed within the day. Great to have free tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks all afternoon - much appreciated on coming back from a long day sightseeing. Location is great with supermarket, restaurants and bars very close. You can just about walk to main sights eg the Louvre and back but it was tiring. Rooms are quite small but do all you need for a city break. Fix the boiler and we'd definitely come back.

Family stay for 4 in two rooms. The place was great, I think it was just re-modeled. Small but comfortable rooms (about the right size for Paris). Not sure what happened, we did not have a breakfast plan with our Hotels booking and I don't remember seeing it listed when booking. Super market across the street and local bakeries helped with finding breakfast.

The Staff was also great, helpful and knowledgeable. Easy access to multiple Metro stops. We would stay there again if ever in Paris.

Everything was perfect only thing I would say is it was kind of hot but now after traveling all over Europe I'm noticing they don't keep anything cold. So I believe it's the normal had the air on 10° Celsius but it was still warm no biggie opened the windows had a nice breeze.

This hotel is clean and bright with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, quiet and of adequate size for a hotel in a major city.

A buffet style continental breakfast is available in a bright basement room (additional charge) and there are complementary snacks available in the reception area. There are many restaurants close by.

The hotel is within a short walk (20 minutes) of Gare du Nord (Eurostar). Because Paris is a fairly compact city, the major tourist destinations such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Eifel Tower and Montmartre are all within walking distance, allowing one to take in the general atmosphere of the city along the way. For those who wish to use the Metro instead, there is a station close by.

A good choice

I would like to make compliments to hotel staffs, especially Maria. She was very helpful to make reservations for restaurant seating and guided us on the surrounding of the hotel. The hotel is quite well located between metro stations. We managed to walk from the Roissybus terminal and was a 15 mins walk. Frenchie restaurant is nearby. Generally, it was a pleasant stay in the hotel. I would recommend people to stay in this hotel.

The hotel was clean, comfy and relaxing. The area is very good - with a good range of shops and services including a good supermarket and laundrette opposite. Metro is close so you can be anywhere in no time. Bathroom excellent. As first time visitors it was easy to find - a Roissy bus from the airport and a short taxi from Opera had us in our room for less than 30 euros. The staff were most welcoming and friendly.

We had a very good stay on our first trip to France. The hotel was clean, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the location was convenient to two metro lines. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very central being 20 minutes walk from most places of interest. The service was great although having tea/coffee and refrigerator facilities in the room would be a simple improvement. Would definitely visit again.

Very clean and stylish

Had room 303. Plenty of room and bed very comfortable. Decoration in a minimalist arty modern style. Staff very friendly and helpfull especially Didier on reception. Very knowledgable about the quickest routes to the sights. Buffet breakfast very good and certainly enough to get you going for the day. A good location with Grand Boulevard Metro station about 5 minutes walk away.

A Gem of a Place near the Opera

Really nice, clean hotel with civil staff, a decent room and breakfast and walking distance to the Louvre, the Opera etc. Nine Euro for taxi from Gare de Nord. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

good location needs improvements

air conditioning did not work so we needed to open the windows. Street noise precluded our ability to sleep. If you closed the windows there was still street noise and the room got very warm so again no sleep

Bright lights in the Hall filtered in around the room's door and kept the room well lighted all night

Real live Paris

Nice folks in this \"a bit out of the way\" location. But I tell you, who wants to stay right next to the Eiffel Tower? The location was easy to get around all over town. Room was small, clean, quiet -- perfect for my needs. (Max 2 people) If you are the type of person that wants a resort location or wants to hang around the lobby, skip this. But if you want a great value with nice people and some great local flavor, this is an excellent choice!

Overall the whole experience was satisfactory , everything I expected, Clean rooms, with a really nice location ( a very safe neighborhood) with stores and the metro station close by. If you are looking for the fancy looking hotel this is not your choice, but this was a great deal for the price we paid, I will not think twice about booking it again

Arcadia Opera

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Arcadia Opera. The room was larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Our bed wasn't two twins pushed together but an actual queen size hotel. The hotel was within a half mile from a metro stop and there were several nice restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. There were some negatives. The front desk staff weren't as friendly as I'd hoped, but they weren't rude. There were very little amenities in the room, such as toiletries, pen, pad of paper, etc., and our shower had no pressure whatsoever. You could literally hear conversations word for word through the walls. Our room in particular was right next to the elevator, and we could hear the buzz as it went from floor to floor all hours of day and night. Several times, I woke up thinking it was my alarm to wake up only to discover that it was the elevator. Also, one night we were woken up to someone in our hallway trying to get into every door. It was a little frightening, but it was most likely a drunken mistake. I would definitely recommend this hotel. In Paris, you aren't likely to get such a hotel for the price. It was definitely a good hotel.

Highly recommended

The hotel overall was a very good experience. The only hitch was needing to change rooms twice, first because they were going to do maintenance, and the second because the room had no safe in it (although they thought all the rooms had safes). Again, just a minor hitch--the hotel staff was super-nice, and went out of their way to be helpful with problems, directions, connections, etc. which in Paris is a very welcome characteristic and made every interaction pleasurable. The rooms were nice-sized, bathrooms modern, shower excellent, they provided soap and shampoo and extra towels. Bed was very large and very comfortable. The area was very good (though, like many streets, there was early morning noise from garbage and delivery trucks to the local supermarkets and restaurants), easily accessible to the metro, lots of restaurants, near a major boulevard perfect for nursing a beer or coffee and people-watching. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend them to anyone needing a very good quality, relatively inexpensive place to stay.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night. We slept well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They were also as we requested them to be. Through Hotels.com they were much more affordable. The hotel does not know how much you paid for the room. So, the service is no different if you pay full price.
