The heater wasn’t working, they had to bring me mobile heater.. I could barely sleep on my second night because they were working in the next room i suppose and the banging noise gave me headache..
Also they aren’t very responsive with calls .. didn’t have the perfect experience

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre aux étages supérieurs et nous avons beaucoup aimé ! La chambre était calme, bien sombre la nuit (parfaite pour dormir) et la salle de bain était excellente. Les installations sont bonnes et l’emplacement est vraiment idéal — nous avons pu visiter presque tous les sites touristiques à pied. Nous n’avons pris les transports que pour aller à l’aéroport et à Versailles.

Le seul point négatif a été l’accueil du réceptionniste de nuit (vers 22h). Il n’a pas été très sympathique ni serviable, surtout que nous ne parlons pas français et espérions un peu plus de réceptivité en anglais. Nous avons aussi eu un petit souci avec l’ascenseur, qui fonctionne d’une manière un peu particulière (il faut d’abord taper le numéro de l’étage, puis un code). Nous avons mis un certain temps à comprendre, et le réceptionniste n’a pas pris la peine de venir nous aider. Cela a un peu gâché notre première impression.

En revanche, la personne qui nous a reçus lors du check-out a été extrêmement aimable et accueillante, tout comme la femme de ménage, toujours gentille et souriante. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut un très bon séjour et nous reviendrions volontiers.

It’s a good location walkable to nearby subways and buses. It’s short distance to Gare Du Nord rail hub. The rail hub surrounding area is very sketchy, but a mile from it where this hotel is at is decent. The room is clean, simple, and small. However, it’s very dated compared more updated tech hotels. The room entry uses a key job. Elevator uses PIN codes. And front entry require a staff to buzz you in. It felt like this place only has one or two staffs working at any given point. A lot of Asian restaurants nearby.

It’s a simple room for a simple night, then this place is fine. If you plan to be in the room or the hotel to relax, this place is too small and simple for that.

We had a lovely 2 day visit at Anjou Lafayette Opera. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was pleasant but would have been nice to have USB charging points in the room for phones, etc.

Easy to walk to popular attractions and not far from Gare du nord.

Nice hotel in Paris and affordable. Room was small but you don't stay there for too long, but it was nice and with a nice bathroom. We did not try the breakfast buffet as we prefered to look for Pattiseries for breakfast in the area. The hotel is only few minutes from Cadet metro station and not far from the Opera.

Great location for Montmartre and Grands Boulevards. Great reception desk and service (inc luggage store). Our room at the back was quiet but also dark as a consequence. Lovely to have a deep bathtub to rest and recover after long days out or the rain. Top mark for having good newspapers and magazines in too. All in all a safe, if not particular special for Paris, hotel.

A good hotel close to the main shopping area.

We appreciated to be able to check in at 12:00. The room had a bottle of mineral water, a kettle, a table and a chair. There was also an empty mini-fridge which was large enough to store a full size bottle of champagne if you temporarily removed the shelf. The mini-fridge was initially not on, so you must find the power switch and switch it on yourself. The bathroom had 1 shower gel and 1 shampoo for 2 people.

Our room had a not quite full size but adequate size bathtub. There was 1 shampoo and 1 body lotion for 2 people. The bathroom was a good size.

You must leave the key at the reception every time you leave the hotel.

A good base for a stay in central Paris with good transport connections.

Checked in late at night and receptionist was not that good with English so there were some confusion in communicating... Room condition was alright, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a 3-star hotel. We realised the air conditioning could not be switched on and called down to the reception and was told because of the pandemic all the air conditioners had been disabled as they may spread the virus. We left our windows opened all night and surprisingly it was not hot at all in the 30°C Parisian summer! So very thankful that it was not too hot at night or else I would definitely have difficulty sleeping! The night receptionist told me I hadn’t paid through hotel.com and so I paid at checkin. When I went back to pick up my suitcase after checkout, the day receptionist informed me that she realised I was charged twice for the hotel fee and so prepared a refund. Thankful that she noticed!

Very friendly staff and a comfortable hotel. Lovely deep bath, although shower water pressure wasn't great. Very tasty breakfast, a little bit on the pricey side (€13pp), although a cheaper option is available. We had an attic room which meant some very low ceilings and sloping walls, but fine if you're not very tall. Well located (close to Gare du Nord) and the Metro (7 line) is a short walk away, as is a useful bus stop. Great for families. Very nice restaurants nearby, we'd recommended Le Corail, just across the main road.

Above all, the best thing about this hotel is the super friendly and helpful staff.

Very good place to stay. Room was comfortable and roomy. Reception was top quality. Housekeeping during the early part of my stay was pathetic. Came through a locked door with \"Do Not Disturb\" displayed and then called 2 hours later when the \"Do Not Disturb\" was still displayed. Incredible. Would definitely stay here again. Location is great and so was the room. This hotel is one of the few to still have smoking rooms and this was impressive.

Worst Experience ever, had money stolen from my room (about 1500 Euros). Wallet was hidden in a locked bag should have kept the money in the safe but the safe felt kinda sketchy. However a hotel should make a guest feel safe. When I went down to complain another customer was checking out after he heard me he told his bag was also broken one of the zips he showed us but since he didn't have any valuable in the bag he didn't complain. This was shown to the receptionist and later mentioned to the manager by me and the receptionist. The Manager said you have no proof, which I of course did not. I asked if there were any cameras in the hallways, stairs anywhere in the hotel to which she said no!!! Note to self always check into a hotel which has security cameras. I feel most of the staff is involved and the manager is incompetent. Left my key with the front desk when I went out and judging from the french male receptionist's body language something seemed off, have no proof of course.
Later on we were offered free breakfast as compensation, which we didn't take of course. Save yourself the trouble even if there's a 1% choice that something like this is going to happen. STAY SOME WHERE ELSE.

We booked a queen bed and single bed room for 2 adults and a baby. when we checked in we were told by the night front office receptionist that we will get a queen bed room. we were too tired to discuss as to the reason, cause the baby was already tired. We believed in what he said and took the room, It was a very small bed and room and thus spoilt the whole trip as it was very uncomfortable. The dining room attendant and the daytime front office receptionist ladies were very helpful and nice. If you are checking in at night, be on the watch out.

Our stay at the Best Western Anjou Lafayette was everything we could have hoped for and more - the staff were all very welcoming and polite and we arrived in 35 degree heat to a wonderfully cool room. The room was lovely with a nice, simple, inoffensive decor, whilst the bathroom was pristine. The hotel is very well located and a short metro ride (nearest station Cadet) from anywhere - you can also walk to many places nearby and there are an array of wonderful places to eat within the vicinity. A joy to stay at, could not recommend more!

I was with my husband for 6 nights. When we entered the room we were shoke from the smallest room we ever saw. I thing even in japan it is bigger. We didnt found the mini bar and aircondition did not work. In the internet show it looks differnt hotel. We check in the loby with the lady about moving to bigger room and wanted to add extra money. so she consulted the manager and said this is what you get for the money you paid. If you want bigger room you have to pay more 106 yoro pair night. We saied that we already paid to expedia. The lady said that they dont like to work with expexia. That's summaryes everything. We insist to chang to room with aircondition. So they accepted but gave same size room no minibar. We got a very small room with very small furniture. The room has smell like dogs were sleep there. The bed was very small. One night I merly fell from the bed. the clean of room was minimal.they did not change the towels only when we ask for. We got allergic from the liquid soup of the hotel so we buy our soup. There were no room for our bages . One day they put the chair on our bages. In one word terrible hotel .

The hotel is close to gard de nord so it was only a short walk to the hotel. Metro is close by so you can get anywhere easily. Nothing outstanding about the hotel. My room was small, bathroom was large, aircon sort of worked, breakfast was ok. Only 1 bottle of water supplied for the 4 day stay for 2 people and the tea and coffee was not always restocked. I couldn't be bothered to chase the staff up about the water or the tea and coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Paris city is within easy walking distance , so I didn't use the metro except when I left to go to catch the next train at gard de lyon.

I booked through expedia for a 2 bed room per expedia for a prepaid rate Bbut upon checking in they said they don't have the 2 bed room at the price I paid and wouldn't honour the reservation even though I showed them the price for the 2 bed room in question online! Don't know who is to blame, expedia or hotel?! Either way hotel should've honoured the price/room/rate as it was prepaid but they didn't! Staff laughed in our face when we explained our point of view, so unprofessional, rude staff, small rooms, not worth the price. Pick another hotel in paris as there are thousands and this is def not worth the headache.

Very unpleasant front desk staff and the room is very tiny for a triple room.
There is a bar right in front with drunk people screaming all nite. With so many other hotels nearby, big mistake staying here. The only good thing is that a mac donalds is about 3 blocks away.

IT was very clean and comfortable. The room was small but this is typical to Paris. The bed was very comfortable and the staff spoke good English. The hotel was nicer and the staff were nicer than what I would typically expect from Paris. There were little things missing - I had to ask to get the kettle in my room (I think they forgot?) and there were no toiletries that were promised. Their business card said three stars, even though this website said four stars. Wifi worked well and was fast enough to watch videos on the 6th floor.

Nice hotel, good location and

Hotel is nice, not to big (rooms also) but clean and comfortable beds.
Location is great, between 2 subway stations (you can't choose the wrong direction;) ) and lots of great restaurants (even a Starbucks), supermarkets, bistros and so on walking distance.
If you don't mind walking, you can walk to Lafayette shopping center (just turn right out of the hotel, turn left on the 'main street' and walk straight for about 15 minutes and you'll see Laayette on your left).

In short: great location!

This was the first time I stayed in this area

This was the first time I stayed in this area, and was quite pleased. The hotel was very charming and clean.
Many places to eat around the area, and two Metro stops within 2 mins walk.
I would definitely return. Hotel was very clean - the room a bit small, but enough for 2 people.
