AC was weak and broken. Breakfast area is small so you need to beat the rush of ppl or families to make sure you get any food or drinks. If you arrive late you are limited to pickings. Our room was in the middle of a bunch of families who let their kids run wild so it was so loud you weren’t sleeping if they were there. Window broken so heat was coming in when AC was down. But the staff was so amazing it’s hard to complain about the place when they tried their best to help us

This place was a recommendation for a friend, but I think he hates me, because this place was TERRIBLE, the cleaning was the worst, we spend 3 nights and the air conditioning never works and we have to left the windows open, we try to explain the inconvenience but no ones answer, room very noisy. Im hskp manager so I can notice when a room is dirty and this one was really nasty. Do not stay in this “hotel”

Within walking distance of the train station and a few different Metro stations. We enjoyed the location as we arrived in Paris via train and explored the city on foot. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was very helpful. With a family of five we needed two rooms but it was an affordable hotel that met all of our needs.

Location is very good if you want to explore Mobtmartre, Eiffel Tower etc. However rooms are cramped and bathrooms could do with better ventilation as condensation is a real problem. Breakfast buffet is reasonable and front desk staff are super helpful.

The property was in a very good area, lots of options to eat and drink within a 5-10 minute walk . Nice walk up hill to Sacre Coeur and about a 20/25 walk to the Louvre area.
The hotel is older style, but the staff at the front desk are 24 hours and very pleasant & helpful.

Our room was on the fifth floor. We had a family room which was nice as it was two separate bedrooms with a bathroom in between -perfect for us and our two children.
The room only had windows in the roof, so it was not light and bright, but we spend most of the time exploring the city, so it didn’t bother us too much. Shower pressure was amazing and air conditioner was useful.
Hotel promised Wi-Fi, but we were told when we arrived that there was a problem in the area and it would be fixed tomorrow. We were there for three nights and were never able to use Wi-Fi - not a huge problem but would have been nice.

All in all for the cost it was a nice hotel.

First this hotel was advertised as being close tl the eiffel tower when it is actually am hour walk away.
The room was filed woth dust and tiny, not what the picturea look like online. The hotel did let us change room but not much better.
You have to leave your key at the front desk everytime you leave the hotel which is vwry unnerving.
And to top it off they overcharged us on the city tax at the end of the trip and wouldnt gice us a recipt kf what we had paid, when we confronted them they said they dont understand or speak English, although they spoke English before.
When i contacted hotels.com to report this all they said was that the hotel stated they only charged us 11 euro when they actually charged more and said there is nothing else they could do with this matter.
They did offer us a voucher to use on their website but tbh i would stay way clear unless you want to waste money and be rippes off

The hotel was a place to sleep but not much more. The bathroom had an extremely tiny shower and the towels that we were provided were not much larger than hand towels. The rooms were small and the walls were thin so we could hear people in the hall and nearby rooms at all hours. The room where you store luggage is left open st all times and any time I went in there, the person at the front desk didn’t bat an eye - didn’t feel super secure.

Staff were really friendly and informative. Great location next to bus stops, near metro and main train station. Has good bakery near by and a supermarket. Tidied and cleaned room daily with fresh towels. Would recommend ear plugs as street outside can get a bit noisy, especially with rush hour traffic and beeping car horns. Pillows were quite lumpy and the shower doors need a new seal as they didn’t stop the water going onto the bathroom floor outside the shower. But would definitely stay again.

The AC was great. Location was close to restaurants. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Staff wasnt the friendliest. The rooms were dirty. The sheets and blankets had stains. I noticed that a lamp was super dusty. My friend and I got rashes in our skin. I also observed that the cleaning staff put the clean towels on the hallway floor before placing them in the restroom.

Our stay at the Corona Hotel in Paris, France was one of the worst experience I’ve ever had. Beginning with the staff that did not have a good customer service, were not helpful at all nor did they seem interested in meeting the needs of the hotel guests.
After we checked in, a gentleman surprisingly open the door to one of our room without knocking. When we were on our way out for dinner we were asked to leave the room keys at the Front Desk. We told the receptionist repeatedly not to clean our rooms next day and the housekeeper went anyway. Obviously, there is no communication between staff. One of the receptionist did not understand or spoke English, therefore, we couldn’t communicate well with them. There wasn’t a manager who could help.
We asked 2 receptionist where we can buy adapters to charge our phones and both said they didn’t know. We walked and purchased a couple. Next morning, while waiting for an Uber, we sat in reception and noticed a stand that had items for sale and saw adapters exactly the same as the one we purchased. How the staff do not know that the property offers this service?
This hotel is advertised as a 3 star hotel, but it’s not. The room are outdated, very small to fit 3 people, beds not good, no pillows, they provide decorative cushions as pillows and were very small, one per person. Towels were disgusting and torn. Bathroom were extremely small and had mold on the wall of the tub.

The only positive thing was the location****

Don’t stay here. We checked in, saw how awful it was, and checked into another hotel as soon as we could. We were supposed to be here for 4 days but ate the cost and checked in somewhere that was the same cost per night but was 3x better. Just keep looking, there’s a lot better out there.

The hotel was in a great area, full of many shops but not as close to the train station as I would have liked.

The WiFi in my room did not work, I am traveling internationally for work and need the WiFi to work and communicate. I was instructed to just use the WiFi in the lobby the first evening, the second night I was moved to a different room where the WiFi actually worked.

The staff did not have good, helpful attitudes nor seemed interested in fulfill hotel guest needs. you get what you pay for. So for the price it was good but I will not be staying here again.

The room was seriously just falling apart!! The carpet was filthy and just nasty. I do not recommend!!!

One of the worst hotels I e stayed in. I had a tiny room shaped like a coffin with a tiny TV above the toilet door.

The walls were so thin it was very noisy. The shower lacked anywhere to put shampoo. The towel rack broke, the toilet seat was lose.

The location was great and thankfully I didn’t have to spend much time in the room.

Pleasant Surprise in Paris

Hotel Corona is centrally located. It's a short walk to 5 metro station which connects to most of the city and sites of interest. Plus, its close to the Gare du Nord which connects to the airport. The room was small and somewhat dated but comfortable. The staff was very friendly an quickly attend to your needs. I would stay there again.

Overall, it is a small room and needs some updating but it is close to a metro station and to Sacre Coeur and was comfortable enough as I was only in the room to sleep. The front desk staff were very helpful in showing how the metro works and confirming airport pick up. My main frustration was check in was at 2pm. I arrived at 12:30pm. They recommended a great place for lunch and told me to return at 2pm. However, my room was not ready until 2:45pm and that was only because they made me a priority. But again, the staff were very apologetic and helpful in giving me suggestions on where to eat and letting me store my luggage.

Good, safe location. Clean comfortable quiet room. You must be out of the room by 11:30 for maid service. This is not a choice. You have to leave. Otherwise, good location but watch the bus as it leaves on a one way street and doesn’t return anywhere near where you pick it up. There are grocery stores, a laundry and cell phone service on the street as well as many restaurants.

The lady on reception during the day and the cleaning staff in the mornings were polite, pleasant and caring, really made us feel at ease. The man on reception in the evenings, however, was moody and a little intimidating - tried to sell us day trips guided by him and lifts from him then had an attitude when we did not agree to book them. He also did not explain that the keys should be left in the hotel during the day and then got annoyed at us for not knowing this. The room was fine but not quite as nice as the photos show. The bed frames were rickety but comfortable mattresses and pillows. The bathroom had a damp smell and was a little mouldy/mildewy, plus you can clearly see out of the window into other apartments when showering...so they can see you, too! Getting towels each day was a bit of a farce - regardless of where we left our towels, they were always taken for cleaning each day but not replaced, which meant walking up and down 5 flights of stairs in our pjs or risking the terrifyingly tiny, shaky elevator. This could not be done the night before as towels were not available until 2am, for some reason. Overall, a very reasonable price in a handy location, but could almost all do with a little update, not to mentioned some customer service consistency.

First time to book a hotel in the Montmartre area! The hotel's location is its strongest point. It's just minutes away from Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge and Place du Tertre. It's your typical acceptable temporary place of refuge while in Paris, especially for the frugal travellers!

I spent ten nights at this hotel. With this being my 14th visit to lovely Paris, I am used to her tiny hotel rooms, but this one (#28) was something else! Had to push the bed over (away from the desk) in order to get to the window. Dried white stains on carpet near bathroom. Some evening staff were not very competent (ordering taxis, helping with internet).

When booking in this budget range in a city like Paris, you can only hope to have a hotel with pleasant staff and well-maintained room. You simply won't find a room with a lot of space or amenities. In this case, the hotel scores one out of two. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, which we very much appreciated. The hotel facilities show a lot of wear, particularly the carpets. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with strong allergies or sensitivity to dust, etc. Our room was on the first floor and faced onto the street. Between the poor sound insulation in the hotel and the street traffic, it was also quite noisy. Wifi was available, but not great.

The location of this hotel is great. It is close to the shopping district and Galleries Lafayette. It has air-conditioning and elevator (although it is small). Room size is reasonable although there aren't many amenities in the bathroom (e.g. they won't provide shower cap).

However, during the last night of our stay, electricity was out for 2.5 hours (July 4, 2015). It was extremely painful since it was over 100F/38C in Paris at that time. Many other hotel guests also walked down to talk with the person-in-charge so it was noisy too. Our kids felt scared and couldn't sleep.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is close to a metro stop which connects to a lot of the main sites. There are great restaurants, cafes, fresh fruit vendors and bread places right near the hotel. The bed and pillows were very firm, too firm for our liking.

The hotel is Ok but not as good as expected

Stuff should now understand that due to the possibilities given by web searchers is possible to find a better and cheaper places to stay, so $110/night is not so inexpensive anymore for Paris. Found 1 single flea, but not to get alarmed with.

Most disappointing

The hotel is well located and all city attractions are easily accessible. It is, however, very noisy until the early hours given its close proximity to a local bar.

The hotel website, (nor other photographs) does not create an accurate of the accommodation which is generally run down. Our room was booked as a double but a cramped triple allocated, the extra bed was no use.

The Corona presents as a comfortable mid price hotel. There will be better for the price.

comfortable hotel, appropriate for a city break.

The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us a map of Paris and told us where the metro stations were close to the hotel. The breakfast was fine, (continental) good coffee. The room was clean and comfortable, with daily maid service. Overall the hotel is a little tired around the edges but for an economic city break it is ideal.

Good location

It is a nice hotel, good breakfast. It is located at a walking distance to Montmartre, Gallerias Lafayette, and both the Louvre and Orsay museums. It is a walking distance from the Gares du Nord and de L'est. Very important in Paris, it has AC.

Very disappointing hotel in the 9th Arr.

This hotel is nowhere near being a 3-star hotel - it's a 2-star hotel at best and even then only because it has private bathrooms. Otherwise, it should only be rated as a 1-star. The picture of the room posted on Expedia and its own website must be a model room or showroom - it's nothing like an actual room. My room was so small I could not open either the bathroom door or the front door if my rolling duffle bag was on the floor. The elevator did not work more than half of the time. There was no available electrical outlet on any of the walls or at the tiny desk, so I had to climb on the desk chair and lean over the wardrobe to unplug the television in order to recharge my phone or plug in my computer. The television was no larger than a 20-inch flat-screen mounted high on the wall above the wardrobe. The \"free\" wi-fi comes at the expense of registering for promotional material and watching a video before every log-on session. Even then the user ID and password for wi-fi was only good for 12 hours - after 12 hours, you have to walk back downstairs (because the elevator probably is not working) and get a new user ID and password. It was extraordinarily loud with other guests being heard walking up and down the hallway. The cleaning staff was observed walking around barefooted and, when the elevator was working, would often disable it for their own use. Other guests were smoking in their rooms and the smell would waft into my room - the management would do nothing about it.
