I recently stayed at this hotel and although there were a few initial complications, the way they were handled was extremely professional and reassuring. The staff went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and even offered us breakfast on the house, which was a lovely and much-appreciated gesture.

A special mention to the gentleman at the front desk who wore glasses worked on christmas eve morning- he was incredibly helpful and delivered exceptional service throughout our stay. He made sure everything ran smoothly and even ensured we got to our taxi promptly, which really took the stress out of our departure.

We will be back!

Our first time staying in South Pigalle - liked the area a lot - quiet and non-touristy, but close to many dining, eating and bar options. The front desk staff were superb - we forgot a couple of items of clothing and they stored for over a week until we returned to Paris. The room was large, and the bathroom was fine, with a great shower. Elevator building which was helpful.

Nice neighborhood hotel, good people

I really liked this small hotel with about twenty five rooms. The hotel was built in 1952. The management is very nice and they care about your stay. The breakfast is small but reasonably priced. There was eggs, yogurt, cheese, croissants, bread, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and good strong coffee.

The rooms themselves are pretty small but clean and just fine for the need. I banged my head a number of times on the sloping ceiling. The hotel should consider adding more lighting in the hotel rooms. The internet was simple to access and rock solid for my entire four day stay.

The hotel had a nice list of the neighborhood restaurants and the neighborhood was good. I’ll come stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel in St Georges just around the corner from the Metro. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very roomy family room which was perfect for the four of us. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby too.

Couldnt get room service, even when explicitly asked for. Was really great coming back at midnight to dirty sheets that we then had to spend an hour trying to get the right ones from the front desk so we could change them ourselves before going to bed.

The shower dumped water all over the floor, visible water damage from this happening repeatedly (warped wood all over the bathroom and entry.) Dirty towels not collected from room, again, even when requested.

Its a nice location but wouldnt come back. Front desk seemed shocked and apalled we wanted service and needed soap refills/towels/clean sheets after 4 days.

I arrived to the hotel late in the evening, but someone was there to help me quickly get to my room and get settled. It felt like an old house, very quirky, but exceptionally clean with plenty of room. My only complaint, that would be hard to be corrected, is that the walls were very thin.

More shabby than chic!

The hotel is a lot older and worn as the photos show. The location was nice and staff friendly but definitely felt catfished with the quality of the room. Bathroom was very mouldy, crack in the toilet seat (v u hygienic), damp and plaster bubbling on the wall and the room looked directly into an office block. To top it off you could hear everything everyone else was doing!

We loved our stay at the Hôtel Arvor Saint Georges. It was a perfect place to stay in Paris, that offered many essential amenities (Air Conditioning, terrific breakfast) while still having a very authentically Parisian vibe. The hotel was very near the Metro station which was convenient, the neighborhood is bustling with activity and restaurants. We loved having a separate room for our kids with bunk beds. The staff was helpful, polite, professional. In short this was a great starting point for a wonderful trip to Paris, and highly recommended if you want a comfortable stay while avoiding overly-touristy big hotel chains. Would stay again!

Very boutique feel - you wouldn’t expect it to be a hotel from the outside and inside, the tiny, 2-person elevator and narrow, 5-floor spiral staircase are so cool. Well-kept.
The rooms have the feel of an old building modernized, with some oddities, such as a toilet room just inside the door, then access to the larger washroom, sans toilet, through the 2 bedrooms. Nice airflow, (no AC) with windows on both sides in the family room we were in. Many layers of paint. Old key locks on outer doors, with no knob, only a pull, like a cabinet. Door locks automatically on closure. Interior doors - some did not open or close fully, or with a bit of fiddling. Old building charm.
Espresso machine in room was a nice touch. Great water flow, with quick hot or cold water. Ice provided at the front desk upon request. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Housekeeping ignored requests for no service to the room on a stay-over, or it was not passed on to them from the front desk. They can easily enter even when the deadbolt is closed, and did not knock or announce themselves.
We really enjoyed our stay at Arvour Hotel Paris and felt very at home. It was quite close to a very nice, authentic, and inexpensive restaurant which I cannot remember the name of. It was on the point of a triangle and had both indoor and outdoor seating.

The hotel is in a perfect location for someone that wants to get around Paris. Just a 2 min walk from the metro. Only issue we had was that we were next to the lift that can be noisy when in operation however after the first night we didn’t even notice it.

We’ve stayed here a few times now and find it friendly and ideal. We’d love to see old painted furniture in the bedrooms like the table in the breakfast area rather than the modern cupboards and somewhere to hang longer clothes would be good, too. But staff are so kind and helpful and beds comfy, so all very good.

The Staf is nice and polite, but the hotel is not a 4* and needs work.
The bathroom is tiered, toilet bowl loose, used toiletries not replaced, no sleepers or robes, the floor creeks. Light switch also does not work, shower head half blocked by line scale.
Mattresses need replacing or a topper.
No way to adjust temperature - there was a control in my room, but that did not work.
Breakfast was disappointing, no fresh fruit,

A lovely and artistic hotel in one of the most eclectic neighbourhoods in Paris. Close walking distance to the St George metro stop, Montmartre, and only a ~25 min walk gently downhill towards the Seine.

My room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the courtyard view over the rooftops was as Parisian as it gets. This will be my go-to budget-friendly hotel recommendation for friends (and myself) in future.

Room was absolutely adorable, with cute murals! Hotel itself is in a great location, easy walking distance to everything in Montmartre, but also close to the metro. Lots of delicious food nearby too. Hotel is on a culdesack so is nice and quiet at night. We were here in July and for some reason the air conditioning would not blow even when we turned it on, so we had to sleep with window open to alleviate some of the heat. Otherwise pleasant stay and pleasant staff!

This hotel is very old and needs a lot of work. Furnitures in the room are so old. Bed sheets and towels are smelly. Toilets are old. Window was broken. The room had no heat. Definitely not worthy the money you pay. Staff was not friendly and helpful. Not good for family travel at all.

Lovely boutique hotel, great location and great staff! Perfectly located in the 9th by the St Georges Metro and Rue des Martyrs. The hotel is clean, staff are kind, the complimentary water/coffee/tea/tea cake and fruit in the afternoon is a lovely touch. We stayed in a room on the 4th floor and it was a nice size, a great view and bathroom was bigger than most in boutique Parisian hotels. I would absolutely stay here again!

I would say my stay was acceptable. The lobby was quite cute. However, I booked because of photos shown of rooms which were nicer in images than in reality. My lamp was broken, my tv remote was not working and needed to go downstairs to get new batteries. The hallway to the room was just simply ugly, the doors themselves ugly, the room itself was anodyne, the mattress was two mattresses slapped together , the carpet ugly. The bathroom was meh, with the shower being awful, the shower would fill up with water very fast. The room was really not great for the price paid and compared to other places in the area. The location is awesome.

The hotel is in a very good location with lots of restaurants, metro and shops nearby. As it is on a side street it is also quiet. The loby area was nice. The room itself was fine and had everything you need but it was very plain - completely white walls with no artwork, grey carpets and beige curtains. But we did have a nice view from the window.

The staff is just so wonderful, they really are so friendly, kind, helpful and just so sweet. They ensure that your stay is more than comfortable, that you feel at home there. They have tea available in the afternoon and evening, which was perfect to close the day. It's our second stay here, and I'm planning to book another stay for next fall. The location is also really fantastic, there's a cute little coffee shop at the end of the block, and it's walkable to so many great spots, and the metro is just down the block too. Absolutely love this hotel, and have recommended it to my family and friends! Merci beaucoup Hotel Arvor!

Run down and not well kept. The stairwell carpet was torn and worn. The curtains, furniture and carpet in our room was tattered, scuffed and looked like it was bought at a flea market. But the service was nice, the shower perfect and the location great.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel! It was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delightful and the staff were very helpful. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the St. Georges metro station, and about a 12 minute walk to the Pigalle metro. You can also walk from the Gare du Nord train station, which is approximately 25 minutes. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend it anyone!
