Pretty good hotel for the price. Even though I booked one of their larger rooms, the room was still pretty tiny. The bathroom is weird. The toilet faces the sink so if you are sitting doen and move forward, be aware so you dont clock your face on the edge of the sink. The temperature for the shower is mental. Either its scalding hot or cold and ine itty bitty adjustment makes that drastic differenc. There was no in between.

The hotel is super cute, the location is amazing with a metro only a block away and many neighborhood restaurants only a few minutes away. It is very clean which is a big deal for me. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. We did not include breakfast but did eat breakfast there once and charged it to the room. It is a great breakfast with lots of great options. They have free snacks and soft drinks in the lobby every afternoon and the drinks in the mini bar are free which is amazing! We stayed there last week. It was very cold. I loved coming in from the cold and having a cup of hot tea. My only criticism would be that it does not have a ton of storage. No drawers and water spills out all over the floor. Neither of these things were a big deal for us compared to all of the positives.

Complimentary soft drinks in the room was a nice touch. Snacks, drinks, umbrellas in the lobby was appericiated. Near to subway and bus. One bus from here gets you close to Notre Dame cathedral.The only negative was the squeaky floors in our room.

Most important, it has zip code of 75009 which is convenient to a lot places. We have not bought even 1 subway tickets. We can walk just about any places. Perfect and convenient location.

The room felt quite outdated, and the floor made noise every time we walked. The bathroom also needs maintenance — water spills onto the floor every time we take a shower.

Additionally, the door lock was very hard to open. We had to come down to the reception twice to get new key cards because the door wouldn’t open properly.

Our booking included a daily mini bar refill, but during our three-day stay, it was never refilled. When we asked the receptionist on duty, he informed us that he didn’t have access to restock the mini bar.

Hotel Lorette is in a great area close to restaurants, small markets, and coffee shops and the metro is just across the street. There are tourist in this area, but not too many. You experience the Parisian culture more than in a very touristic area. I always felt safe walking around.
The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby area is small but adequate. In the afternoon the lobby area had some snacks but they were all sweets.
For the price and compare to other places, the nightly rate was fair.

This is the first time I’ve ever experienced actual hospitality from a hotel. I arrived way ahead of check in time, yet they gladly put away my suitcase and offered me a snack. The mini bar is complementary and the breakfast is very reasonably priced. They also welcome you at their other properties throughout the city for refreshments at no additional cost. Indeed, true hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and a fully restocked mini bar every day. The staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming, and even held our luggage for us at no charge, which was so appreciated.

The location couldn’t have been better: surrounded by great restaurants, just steps from the metro, and only about a 30-minute walk to many of the major tourist attractions. Charming village-like neighborhood around the hotel.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Paris.

Nice week in Paris

The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of Montmarte and just a block from a Metro stop (with another stop 2 blocks away). There are plenty of restaurants, bakeries and shops and the area felt very safe. The free snacks and drinks were a welcome treat and made it so easy to grab something quickly after a long day of touring the city. The staff were so friendly and always offered great suggestions and advice.
The only downside was that we were on the top (6th) floor and our shower was so small and tight. It was difficult to take a shower without getting water everywhere. The people we traveled with were on the 5th floor and their room and bathroom didn't feel nearly as cramped as our room. The elevator can also be a bit slow and there is only one elevator that goes to the 6th floor. I would request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor so that you can more easily just use the stairs.
Otherwise, I would absolutely stay there again.

Loved everything about this hotel. It keeps the charm of Paris in every nook and cranny with a modern twist (decor, AC, elevators, kettle in room). Rooms were on the small side (we only got the standard) but it was cute and cozy and good enough for 2. There is breakfast at an additional cost - great selection. And it is so close to the Metro, cafes, boulangeries, pharmacy. It’s 15 mins walk to Moulin Rouge (rue de Clichy). It’s 20-25 mins to Galeries Lafayette, Palais Garnier, Louvre, Tuileries Gardens. The lobby has drinks (water, pop, juice, coffee/tea) and they have snacks available ie biscuits, pastries, cookies, donuts. It’s in the 9th arrondissement. We loved our stay here. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights and cannot be happier with the hotel and its location. Steps away from metro station (line 12) walking distance to a ton of interesting sites including Moulin Rouge , Montmartre, Notre dame de lorette, etc. there are tons of cafe, restaurants within walking. The hotel is clean, beds comfy, breakfast is superb. I thought the room and bathroom will be very small but they exceeded my expectations !! Convenient trendy but not touristy. I will stay again next time in Paris.

Set expectations did not meet the service. Hotel service desk stated that the soft bar will be open 2pm to 2am every day (coffee water etc.). With this knowledge we came to our room and there wasn't any water at the hotel soft bar and all other stores were closed for the night. While we asked the service desk for water they stated they didn't have the key to provide us with water, 2 days in a row. Expectations at walk in were wonderful, but reality was not that much.

The whole building is same kind of building as other residential apartments and giving us a feeling that we are living like a local not tourists in Paris. We travelled as a couple and found this hotel extremely safe, just 1minute walk from M12 metro station. Front desk is extremely friendly and Tommy(I think so) helped us to change a room immediately when we didn’t like the small room on 6th floor as it touched my head when we went in. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting Paris. I think few people who get a room on 1st floor might hear metro noise so be mindfully of that!

The hotel is located in a truly local neighbourhood with families and young couples going about their daily routines. There are amazing dinning, bakery, cafe and grocery options all within a 5min walk of the hotel including 'to die for' croissants still warm out of the oven! Metro is across the street and 20min walk to the Palais Royal and Louvre Metro station. Great spot.

A Wonderful Choice for a Trip to Paris

Hotel Lorette was a superb choice for our visit to Paris. It is located in the Saint George district just 15 minutes bus ride from Gare du Nord (line 43) and the Saint George metro is about 1 minute walk away. The location has great public connections by bus and metro to most tourist sights and some are no more than 15 minutes walk away.

We booked a superior double which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom.

The buffet breakfast is superb with so many options and worth the supplement.

There is also an excellent complimentary drink and snack service in the lounge which is a great touch.

The staff were always polite and helpful and all deserve some credit for making our stay enjoyable.

Just as a footnote, a nearby bistro, Le Bon George has just featured on the BBC and is definitely worth visiting for lunch or dinner.

It was my son and my first time in Paris. What a wonderful first experience, much to do with where we stayed. Hotel Lorette was absolutely lovely and welcoming; it was the perfect place to come back from a long day exploring the city. The staff were top-notch professional and kind. The breakfasts were also delicious with a lot of variety for many palettes, including regional cheeses and in-house baked items. We couldn’t be happier with our choice, and are sincerely looking forward for our return to Paris and to Hotel Lorette.
