This is a recommended hotel. The area feels safe, and there are plenty of cafés and bistros nearby. The room was a comfortable size, and the bathroom had a very modern design with a warm and clean atmosphere, which I really liked. There was also an elevator, and the nearest metro station was about a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient.
From my room, I could see a small view of the Eiffel Tower, which was a lovely surprise and allowed me to enjoy the Parisian atmosphere even from inside the room. The staff were all very kind and friendly as well. The hotel is also only about a 10-minute drive from Gare du Nord.

I wish I could give it 5 stars overall, but the elevator was broken and we were on the 4th floor. They did offer us free breakfast, so that was kind. Otherwise, everything was great about our stay. The rooms are small, but had everything we needed, good sized shower! Staff was friendly and location was great for getting around Paris. Never felt unsafe walking around. Would definitely stay here again.

Just a great little boutique hotel and within a short walk from Metro line 12. Breakfast is a fine affair in the delightful basement with choices to suit anyone. Bijou room with superb ensuite, large TV and comfortable bed. Reception very helpful and English spoken and there is a lift. Just a charming accomodation with a nice family feel. Highly recommended.

Convenient location, a 25 minute walk from the Gare du Nord and just round the corner from the Metro station for easy access to the city centre. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was self-service with plenty of choice and gluten free bread was provided for me on request. There are a couple of restaurants very close by, and also shops selling fruit and charcuterie. The small fridge in the room was useful, but used one of only two electric sockets which were awkwardly positioned, so to charge phones etc we had to unplug the kettle on our knees! The room was quite small but very clean.

We were leaving on September 18 (national strike day) and they arranged a car to take us to the airport since metro and rail transportation was probably not going to be working that day.

We had a great stay. The room was very nice and the service was excellent. All of the staff were very welcoming and responsive. Breakfast added on every day for just €16… a very good value for the buffet. Our room was in the top floor and had exposed beams, which was beautiful but also meant I had to bend over to get to the closet. I didn’t mind but if that’s difficult don’t you, please consider it. I added a picture of the view from our room in the morning.

The only one thing that I could recommend is - to wash the white towels with chlorine so they are more white than grey. Other than that we love the location, the neighborhood, the staff and the biggest plus for us was 1-2 min walk to the nearest metro station.

Hôtel France Albion is well located. Near attractions, great restaurants, cool streets, and close by to the train station. It was very easy to get from the airport to this hotel.

Conveniently located, hotel is easy to find. Lovely staff, easy check-in. The room was however right next to the lift, making it difficult to fall asleep, so not the best night.

Maid left a wet towel on our bed. Only left 1 clean towel although we were 2 people. Additionally there was construction happening during our stay that was so so terrible. Banging, drilling. We could not sleep. Awesome hospitality but the hotel itself is a bit dated and in need of renovation. I would not stay again.

They keep the doors locked at night and have 24hr staff at the front desk. When I go back to Paris, I will definitely stay at Hotel France Albion.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are small but not bad for a short stay of one or two nights. We had mistakenly reserved the family guest room for our family of four, and later reserved two separate rooms (as we had forgotten we had already reserved the family room). We realized this when we got there. They charged us the first night for the family room, but they allowed me to cancel the second night without a charge. This was understandable as they had forgone business opportunities with that room since we had it booked. But they offered us free breakfast for 4 people for two days (a $96 value - $12x4 people x2 night stay). The breakfast is good. You can tell there was some thought put into it. The shower has good water pressure and the hotel has an elevator.
The street is a bit noisy at night, as we were in the first floor. And the rooms are small. That’s why I gave it 3 stars for comfort. But everything else is very nice. There is a convenient grocery store right across the street with very modest prices. And the Saint George train station is just a brief walk away. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable. Pretty good breakfast buffet and one of the best air conditioners I’ve had in Europe. The hotel is within walking distance of Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur, and a metro, and there are a lot of restaurants around the area.
The only suggestion I have is that it would be useful to have more spots to hang towels in the bathroom. Otherwise, no complaints.

This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the metro and many restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The mattress was particularly comfortable. The air conditioner worked perfectly and the shower was excellent. Breakfast includes eggs and a few other hot items in addition to a selection of breads, pastries, fruits, yogourts, etc. The airport shuttle service is a private car, cost is €70 (in 2025). We enjoyed our stay and would choose this hotel again.

The hotel is conveniently located for using the metro, and it's in a safe neighborhood, judging from my experience. Although the square footage is modest, it is sufficient, and the quarters are clean and comfortable. The optional breakfast is worth it, and the staff is very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay in hotel france albion. The staff were lovely and the single room I stayed it was bigger then I expected in paris. The bathroom was very modern and well thought out. The sound proofing is very good, My room was beside the elevator yet I still slept well. Some small cons would be that there's not much of a view from this room it suited me as I need a quiet room. Also there's no kettle in the room. Space wise I don't think it would be easy to fit one.

This was such a great find! Convenient and charming—this was a great location and you can’t beat the price. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and everyone was super friendly. The water pressure in the shower, though, might have been the biggest selling point. :) Room wasn’t huge but it was perfect for a trip that we spent almost entirely out and about anyway. Will definitely seek this place out when we head back!

Lovely little hotel with an amazing staff… room was a little outdated but no big deal for us. The main issue we had was the room was COLD. Even with the heater on it was cold. And the bathroom was FREEZING. But honestly, aside from that, it was really a lovely stay in a quiet area. I’d stay here again.

My second stay here for 6 nights each. I enjoy all those who work there…very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable of the area and Paris in general, near two metro stations at either end of the street with three others within a ten minute walk. Love the breakfast, the comfortable bed, and the good smelling sheets. The area is close to many Paris attractions on the Right Bank. And then the metro zooms you over to the Left Bank or wherever your heart desires. Hope to make it a third time…..

The room was so small I could barely breathe in the room. The bathroom was in the room as well but you had to turn sideways to get it. The room required a key like a house key and you had to make to keep up with it due to you had to lock the with it from inside. If you left the hotel the front desk requested you to leave your key with them for safekeeping
