Comfortable place
Hotel is in a quaint older building and an old style. Rooms are small but comfortable. During our stay the elevator broke and was out of service for 2 days requiring use of the narrow stairway. This was very inconvenient for older people.

Loved this hotel room was large in size compared to others within the city that I’ve previously stayed in. We walked to the Louvre was no more than 20 mins away and easy to find, we also walked from the Gare du Nord 25mins. Most definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying 6 days at the hotel. We found the location very good because there were lots of restaurants nearby and the walk to several metro stops was very reasonable. Being close to the Gallaries Lafayette was also very nice.
The best part was the very friendly staff. They were very helpful giving us restaurant ideas and helpful finding how to get to the sightseeing spots we were headed for.

We arrived a bit early and had to wait for our room to finish being cleaned. When it still wasn’t done at the given time, we were comped a breakfast for the following morning. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our room and the outdoor terrace located close by. When we left, the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful with instructions about the airport bus because we couldn’t get an Uber or cab after 45 minutes of trying. We also loved the location of the hotel. It was in a little quieter of an area while still having numerous dining options close by.

Small hotel with an extraordinary location and easy access to the different means of transport. The front desk staff was always very friendly and helpful, their safety tips were highly appreciated in a city where pickpockets are common. The air conditioning was helpful in an extremely hot week in Paris, with temperatures well above 30°C. I highly recommend the hotel.

Two tiny windows and rude staff
We arrived late and the person waiting seemed irritated to have to wait for us. The room had two very small windows near the ceiling, not as in the pictures. The whole hotel was dated, very old towels, though everything clean.
We decided to leave one day earlier than the planned two days and the guy at the reception was very rude, he insisted on the room having two “working windows” and was confrontational. If the staff had been nice we would have written a different review, but we still would have left.

Wonderful staff & Comfortable stay
The staff at Mogador was delightful and caring. I needed a safety pin for my dress as I was running out to dinner and the main gentleman running the hotel went searching until he found one for me. I felt well taken care of while at the Mogador. The air conditioning was adjustable to my own comfort level, and the bed was very comfortable.

Staff at hotel Mogadishu were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for exploring Central Paris and car parking was easy. The only thing that could be improved slightly is the cleanliness, there were a few stray hairs in our bedroom and bathroom.

The good: Very clean. Updated room. Lobby area is nice. Free snacks/candy/water in lobby. Hotel staff is very helpful during check in. Easy hotel to find. Interior rooms are super quiet. Air conditioning works great.
The bad: Corridors are very dark and tight (even by European standards). Interior rooms get no sunlight (even from the interior window) and create a real claustrophobic feel that can be quite unsettling. There are no pictures of the interior rooms on the website. The Metro lines closest to this hotel (Green M12) are the most useless line on the Metro. 3 changes to get to Notre Dame, at least 2 for Eiffel Tower. I also experienced an issue where I checked out a day early to return to the states for a funeral. I gave 16 hour notice of this. I was on a no cancel room. Obviously the hotel had no requirement to refund any of my night that I left early BUT I called later in the day and they booked the room (totally filled hotel the night I was supposed to be there). An upstanding hotel would have refunded me partially because they did end up renting out the room.

We loved the Hotel Mogador. My wife and 7 year old daughter stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Perfect way to explore Paris and the room with an extra bed was perfect. Beds were very comfortable, windows blocked street noise and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also wonderful.

The hotel was perfect for your stay. Location was amazing as we were able to walk to many nearby malls, boutique stores, restaurants, and must see locations. we were there during the strike so metro and bus was not an option. Even getting a Uber was hard. The room was a good size and it was clean.

Great service and location. The hotel is clean but the room is very small (remind me of Japanese hotel, yes, that small). But for a solo traveler, I am not in the room most of the time. It is not a big deal for me. The negative is the noises: I can hear the next room guesses talk or if TV is on. It is an old building, you get what you pay for. I would give a 5 ⭐️ for the service, 3 ⭐️ for overall.

Dreary and Completely Disappointing
We booked a room for 2 adults & 2 children. It was much too small and should not have been marketed as a 4 person room. With luggage on the floor, there was no room to maneuver around. The bathroom was the size of an airplane bathroom with no counter space (particularly for 4) and the cheap shelving would wiggle and our belongings would topple over. While not dirty, the hotel was extremely dingy and worn out with no thought in creating an inviting environment (a fresh, bright coat of paint do wonders). We left after two days although we paid for 4. We wanted to get out of there asap. The proprietress told me that the area is very expensive, etc, But we found a much nicer hotel at the same cost in a great area and got out of there as fast as we could.

Very welcoming hotel just 20 or so minutes walk from Gare du Nord and from Louvre, so very well placed for a short break. Also close to a range of Metro stations and restaurants. Room very clean but no view, bathroom fine but a little small. Good shower. Excellent base for exploring. we did not try breakfast. Luggage willingly held for us on final day before evening train.

I had to catch a train at noon next day, and the hotel is conveniently located close to Gare du Nord. Receptionist speaks english very well and is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I payed the extra 12Euro for breakfast and it was very nice. The room was small (I had a single room), but very clean and had tea, coffee, a water heater, and a hair dryer. The window opened into a little court yard, which was great because it was very quiet. Only discomfort because there was some plastic cover on the bed, which made it quite sweaty, even though the sheets were soft and nice. Walking distance to Pigalle (Moulin Rouge) and Sacre Coeur.

I had a very brief one night stay. Twice when I entered the hotel, there was no one at the \"24 hour\" front desk, but they came from another room after 10 seconds or so. My shower drain was slow, so the shower almost flooded the bathroom after only running a few minutes. I had to turn off the water while shampooing my hair. The bathroom was tiny and awkward to get around the door to use the toilet. Small rooms are common in busy cities.
