Yeah, unfortunately, had a really horrible experience here. It may be partly due to the way they categorize rooms, but it didn’t work out for my disabled mom and my 20-year-old son at all. My messages were ignored and they ended up having to leave the hotel after their first night out of three because their basic advanced request of needing beds rather than one double (for obvious reasons) could not be accommodated. One refund was offered. Super disappointed

The hotel is in a great area for shopping and easy access to the metro. We walked down to the Louvre museum in about 20 minutes.
The grocery store, monoprix, is steps from the entrance to the hotel and has everything.
There's a busy little cafe which is just to the right. Also, if your looking for a Royal with cheese a Macdonlds is just past the little cafe

THE LOCATION EXCELLENT, A 6 MNTS WALKING DISTANCE FROM GALLERIES LAFAYETTE,METRO STATIONS, RESTAURANTS, ETC. PERSONNEL VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. ROOM VERY CLEAN AND NICE. Clean room and staff were nice. Property is close to the Metro and just across from Galleries Lafayette and Printemps. We were happy with our stay due to convenience/proximity to places we wanted to visit.
My only complaint was on one Saturday morning, across the street maybe around 5 or 5:30am, several deliveries were made. You can hear the forklift, metal banging, unloading of goods, etc. Pretty annoying when you still want to sleep in. But overall, it was still a good stay.

The rooms were clean, but initially very cold and heating not responsive. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was not much storage - drawers, particularly - for a week-long stay. The kitchen area was small but adequately equipped. We mostly used the sink and the refrigerator and didn't try to cook.
Overall, the rooms and bathroom were a bit shabby and not very up-to-date. It was fine for our stay.
The location is excellent - near many Metro and RER lines and shopping areas, esp. the big department stores. This made the hotel worth the money.

The room was tiny couldn’t even move in it. After begging and checking with the front desk they moved me to a corner room where at least I could put my luggage. Rima was a great help. The bathroom was old and the bathroom amenities were terrible. Breakfast was OK but one of the servers treated us like we were eating her food and was following us around telling what and what not to do… I have never seen anything like it for a breakfast buffet 😔

We chose Residhome Paris Opera as a convenient choice for shopping destinations. Steps away from Les Printemps and very close to Galleries Lafayette. The hotel is efficient, clean and offers a very complete breakfast option. A very decent choice for the location. Would definitely return as an option to enjoy this area of Paris.

This was a great place to stay, lovely staff on the front desk, great location, comfy beds and quiet at night. Disappointing was the breakfast not being provided to us despite our booking including it. We were given it complimentary one morning however the lady who works in the kitchen was rude and arrogant and should not work in the service industry!

This is not a 4 star hotel. The place smelled like mold. the carpets were dirty and the lighting in the room was horrible. We were stuck in an inside room when I requested a balcony and you would think since we had a long stay reservation the room would be better. The only good thing is that it was close to the galleries Lafayette. Do not stay in this hotel.

Great location, room spacious with much better kitchenette than expected (not that we used it), staff, cleanliness etc all great. Breakfast room in basement/dreary, but food itself fine. There are a couple of cafes nearby, would probably go there next time. Traffic free zone, so very quiet. On top of Metro station and lots bus options very close. Opera Garnier a short walk. Would use again- especially for short stay.

Good morning, thank you for a lovely stay at your hotel our breakfast attendant was amazing she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Would love to see a few more breakfast options.

The apartment was spacious. The lighting is dim so it felt dark which is probably why the cleaners couldn't see the table dust. It’s definitely dated but functional.

The location is great - close to busses and metro, restaurants very close, a supermarket around the corner. We enjoyed the fridge and used the microwave. The beds were super comfortable.
One challenge was the temperature of the room. As we were unsuccessful in turned down the thermostat, the asked at the front desk if they would do it. They said they would send a technician. We asked 3 different times and still the room was to warm. Thankfully we would open the window.
We stayed 9 nights so our room was cleaned every 3 days. Luckily there was a housekeeping lady on the floor in the morning so we could get toilet paper... as it was not replenished.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we would come again!

The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, and the location is really good too. Unfortunately, the rooms let the experience down a bit. Our first night was awful; we stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed, which was extremely old and noisy. Every tiny movement made a sound, so we barely slept.

The staff were great and moved us the next day, but the only option was two separate studio rooms, which was disappointing as the trip was for my daughter’s birthday.

The photos on Expedia aren’t accurate or realistic at all. The rooms are much more basic and outdated in reality, with no view. If you do book, I’d definitely recommend choosing the Parisian rooms, as we found out while we were there that these are the newer and much nicer ones.

Poor service and disappointing stay

We stayed at Residhome Opéra for 4 nights (1+3), but unfortunately the service and experience were very disappointing.

At check-in(9/17/25 Afternoon), although we had requested two twin beds, we were given a double bed. When we raised the issue, the reception staff (Woman and another male colleague) said there were no available rooms and told us to email the manager, without offering any apology. The male staff member even replied “I don’t have a name” when we asked, and made an unnecessary comment about our previous trip to Amsterdam.

The next day, we were told it might be possible to change rooms, but the communication among staff was very poor. Even though we confirmed with the night shift that we would stay in the same room, the receptionist later claimed she had tried to reach us to move us. Throughout our stay, she repeatedly avoided eye contact and never greeted us, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.

Besides the service, the facilities were outdated: very poor soundproofing, an unstable shower head, and constant street noise all night. And there was some dust on the side table even after cleaning.

Overall, the lack of professionalism at the reception, combined with subpar facilities, made this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.

The location of Resihome Opera Paris is excellent and very convenient for transportation. However, the service and housekeeping were unacceptable throughout our 8-night stay.

For two consecutive days, our room was not cleaned, even though we never placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign. When I reminded reception in the morning, the room was still not serviced, and staff kept insisting that we had used the sign, which was not true. When the cleaning manager finally came, replenishment was incomplete — first bedding without towels, then towels without tissues, and even soap was not replaced. Trash was also left inside the room.

Later, the situation became even worse: on the one day we actually hung a “Do Not Disturb” sign, housekeeping still entered and cleaned the room without permission. This is both unprofessional and a violation of guest privacy.

The hotel later claimed it operates as an “apartment” with limited cleaning, but this was never communicated to us during booking or at check-in. On Thursday, which was supposedly their scheduled cleaning day, we had already requested service in the morning (without using the sign), but still no one came.

Great location, but poor communication, repeated housekeeping failures, and inconsistent service make this hotel very disappointing.

Also, the equipment and conditions of the room is not as nice as it seems on the pictures.

When we try to check in for 6 rooms for our party of 14. We reserved three apartments (executive duplex) ,two studios and one Family bedroom (for 4 peoples) Altogether 6 rooms. But all of a sudden Ghani (male staff) told me the rooms are not available for all 6rooms. Ghani at the check in counter is keep lying to us about the room is not available. We asked to talk to the manager. Ghani said i am the manager. But he was not the manager. Almost an hour of arguing with him, finally, we met the one female staff. She apologized and we got the rooms what we reserved. Later the real manager quietly appeared because of the argument. Ghani tried to fool us and he even used word “stupid”and didn’t even apologize. Our group (14 of us) was so tired of waiting and got so mad about the hotel treated us. He (Ghani) never apologized. Because of our 1st stop at Paris was your hotel. You ruined our 1st day expectation of Paris. We definitely not recommend your property.

HVAC broken, hot rooms, very inconvenient and uncomfortable 4-day stay! We slept on a studio room with one bed for 3 people! I'm very disappointed to Fatima and Sofia who promised me a refund for downgrading my reservation from a family room to a studio! I prepaid for this reservation 2 months ahead & was promised to be refunded, but it's been almost 2 weeks and I'm just getting a runaround of my refund. Unfair and unacceptable!! I need my refund ASAP!

The property is well located for the Metro and shopping, very central to everything. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was nice and big. The room was in need of some maintenance due to wear and tear and on our last day we had a leak through the ceiling, it was quite bad and we needed to use a saucepan to collect the water. We were on the 3rd floor so likely the bathroom above us leaking through. We reported it and the staff seemed unconcerned as if it was expected, as we were checking out anyway it didn’t matter to us. But f this had happened on the first day we would have been much more bothered by it.

The residence was probably nice when it first opened, but it now needs a full renovation.
Do not rely on the pictures, the AC does not work properly, the air dryer is almost broken, the fan is full of dust, and the walls and amenities are generally in very poor condition.
I had to sleep on the sofa bed in the executive apartment because we were traveling with our kids. The sofa had a hole in the middle and the armrests were completely damaged.
I have stayed in other Residhome properties in the past, but this one was by far the most unpleasant experience.
Night staff was nice when we check-in but he was alone and couldn’t help for fixing the AC, and try to help as he could. We had a nice lady doing our check out too.
Just be aware when you book your stay that it’s not a 4 stars residence and expect nothing.

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel.
When we checked out, the staff at the counter promised to process a refund, but unfortunately, no one has followed up with us.

On our first day and until the afternoon of the second day, we did not have running cold water in the shower. It took a technician’s visit to finally fix it. On top of that, the air conditioning was not working throughout our stay, and we had to rely on manual fans, which was very uncomfortable.

We sincerely hope that hotel management takes these issues seriously and improves their services for future guests.

The room was terrible - an attic room with half the ceiling angled beams to bang your head on when getting out of bed; a shower with no grab handles making it risky to get in and out of; very inefficient air conditioner (we called on this and got an inefficient portable fan to 'help'). Not a comfortable room but it did have a refigerator!

Very convenient, located next to large shopping area (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette), supermarket (Monoprix) and next to transportation (RER E, Gare St Lazare to go to Normandy). Our room was great for travelling with teens (separation between rooms). Didn't seem to be able to adjust the AC but it was relatively ok still. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early to rest after a long transatlantic flight. Easy to access from CDG airport with RER B and RER E.

BEWARE! The pictures shown are NOT what you get. The wallpaper is peeling from the walls
In the hallways, including holes and carpet is unsecured and disgusting. The rooms smell musty and the air conditioner does not get cold. The bathrooms are FULL OF MOLD AND MILDEW and rusty. The baseboards are coming apart, thresholds are missing pieces just like the cabinets, doors and furnishings. He had a creamer for our coffee that was spoiled. The portal ac was completely full of dust and filter never cleaned. Curtains were full of stains. They gave us a choice of three rooms when we complained that the one they gave us looked nothing like the pictures and they said only two rooms in the hotel look like the pictures. They deceived us. Manager (a woman) was condescending and did not provide any alternative other then the three disgusting rooms we had to choose from. I will never stay at that place again. TOTAL SCAM!!!

The hotel met our basic needs — it was clean, had functioning air conditioning, and is in a convenient location for exploring the city. However, our experience was affected by a few service and maintenance issues. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and it took multiple requests over two days to receive essential items like toilet paper and towels.

The property itself is showing some wear. Our room had a broken shower head that impacted water pressure and a non-working safe, neither of which could be fixed during our stay despite reporting them.

The area around the hotel felt fine during the day, but it did feel a bit uneasy after dark. Overall, the hotel was sufficient for a short stay, but with some improvements to service and upkeep, it could be much better.

Also conditions of the room, bathroom mold, and so much other details on the entire room. I addressed all this to the, and not even a moved to make it right. I really fell the stole my money.

Great location, hotel was clean, staff friendly, room far bigger thank we were expecting, got early check-in, ALL GOOD until we got to the room. the reason for the lower rating was simply that it was a 30C day that day & when got into the room the temperature was 28 (in the room) & the A/C was NOT on. After setting it to 22 & making sure it was on, 5 hours later is was still at 27.5, clearly not working. We let the front desk know & they sent a maintenance person up who did nothing but lower the thermostat temperature to 15, which did nothing. Opened up the windows once the sun went down & eventually cooled to about 25C by morning. Not the best sleep to say the least. Mentioned it to the guy at check-out the next morning &, although he did apologize, nothing else really offered. Too bad because we were super impressed with everything else there..............

This property had a very strange room layout. It was 2 stories with a steep winding stair case to the actual bed room. As Seniors, we had some difficulty maneuvering a large suitcase up the stairs. We had to be very careful walking since there was a rough area that scratched ankles.
I would not stay there again for that reason.

A lot of loud street noise, well beyond city noise, until 3 am the days we stayed. A group of men were playing soccer in the street. The front desk did not acknowledge it was a problem, nor did they apologize for the inconvenience. There were dishes left in a box outside our hotel room door and linens in a cart. The carpet in the hallways is coming up and appeared dirty. The pictures of the rooms online bd reality are quite different. The mattresses are hard as a rock. Despite a great location and multiple metro stations nearby, I would never stay here again. I’m incredibly dissatisfied, especially considering the amount I paid.

The room we received was nothing like the photos online. Much smaller than expected. It was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. But no storage for two bags. Had to put one in the bathroom. No drawers and a very small closet with five hangers. Probably would choosed a different hotel next time.

The price is good considering the hotel is located right in the city center with many main attractions easily accessible by walking or taking the Metro.
However, The room they gave me does not exactly look like the photos on Expedia, the room actually looks outdated, and there are lots of stairs to get to the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, which I don’t believe was mentioned in the booking. For me, it was alright but if it had been anyone with special needs, it would be challenging to walk up those stairs to get to the bedroom.

Very convenient location. Perfect for shopping and sightseeing. We loved Monoprix supermarket on the corner. Also we took Roissy Airport shuttle bus from Opera Garnier to CDG. It was so easy.

In close proximity to the metro / bus stops. You can get your travel cards at the nearby saint Lazare station. Grocery close by. Many restaurants cafes etc close by. There is a church opposite the hotel where some homeless persons gather however they never bothered us. . Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was adequate a little tired however always cleaned and all amenities functioned. Will definitely consider staying here again. Thanks you Residhome for making our first visit to Paris a fabulous one!!!

My friend and I were unable to check in to our room until 3 hours after check in time (they did let us stow our bags but after a long travel day thats not ideal) and then the room orientation was incorrect. Room was meant to be cleaned every 2 days and it was only cleaned once during the 7 day visit. There was also no lightbulbs in the room. The staff were nice but we felt like we were constantly asking them to resolve these very basic things. Overall the room and kitchenette were good and the location was very accessible to transit.

This place is so close to everything we need and places we want to go, and the Metro stop is just next door. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will stay here again the next time we are in Paris. Highly recommend this place!

Nothing like pictures. Hotel doesn't do maintenance. Kitchen cabinet falling apart, bathroom faucet barely attached & shower with mildly tiles. We asked they fix faucet.... I'm sure they'll get to it.... sometime. Area to busy for our taste...we won't be back😣

This location is perfect—right in the heart of everything! It’s close to shopping and dining, with plenty of options within walking distance, even with kids. It’s also a fantastic starting point for exploring all the famous monuments and attractions in Paris. Highly recommend!
